Indian judges OK 'Hindu Taliban'

Hindus in India are persecuting Christians. Hindu militants (which some are terming as the Hindu Taliban) have nearly been given the green light to exact violence and murder up Christians and recent converts to Christ. The Indian Supreme Court says police can arrest and detain anyone for just talking about Christ. I found the WorldNetDaily article at Prophecy Connections.

The context that "Prophecy Connections" posted this WND article is that the "Group Moderator" has a daughter and son-in-law that recently visited India leading some to the Faith of Christ.

The thing that I find alarming about this direction of prejudice in the largest democracy in the planet that this is a move typical of intolerant Mohammedan governments in the Middle East. I can see the enforcement of some kind of proselytizing laws because of the cultural hatred that exists between Indian Hindus and Muslims. The thing is the Hindu militants have taken protection to the level of telling one how to think. Thus it is allowable for Hindus to do physical harm to Christians or recent converts to Christianity.

Proselytizing laws should be set to allow freedom of conscience and thought. For example: allowing one to check out the meetings of other faiths without worry of community reprisal or police harassment. Proselytizing laws should be used to prevent one faith from entering another faith's cultural stronghold which would cause rioting. That is a good compromise in Liberty and Culture.
