The foundations of America are definitely Judeo/Christian. Much of our legal foundations are as much based on Christians coming to America to live a Christian life free from interference of the State Church. The early Puritans and Pilgrims were looking for a theocracy based on Liberty. Thomas E. Brewton hits that nail squarely on the head.
Actually history in general has been exploited often by the group of Academics that dominate academic thinking of the moment. Currently, the slanted Left seems to be dominating Western Academics. There is a middle ground that usually closer to a true interpretation of history. The sad thing is about slanted Left academia is that it is doing more than re-interpreting facts. Too often it is inventing the facts to meet their interpretation.
