Kofi the Corrupt Manages an Agricultural NGO

Kofi the Corrupt is still making headlines even after his dubious tenure as United Nations Secretary-General has ended. (Did anyone check the U.N. books before Annan stepped down? Could Annan and son have had one last fling of U.N. embezzlement and finance manipulation to cover their future comfortably?)

It is incredible that Bill Gates – probably one of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time – has donated huge funds to Kofi Annan.

Annan has set himself up in an NGO called the Alliance for the Green Revolution in Africa. Between the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation Annan’s NGO received a $150 MILLION jump start Grant.

Annan’s scandalous Secretariat that funneled money to his son (and probably himself) and various companies and nations of Europe is managing an NGO that will promote an agricultural turn around in Africa. Hello! Kofi the Corrupt also was the U.N. Secretariat that was responsible for hindering agricultural breakthroughs via bureaucratic U.N. regulations that nations are supposed to honor. (Of course we know that many Mohammedan nations regularly ignore U.N. oversight and regulation.)

Read Henry I. Miller’s commentary on Kofi Annan entitled,
Give Annan the boot for details of what I am talking about.

Iran: Have You Heard Fight Fire With Fire?

Let us do that thing that Appeasers and Leftist fear. Let us dwell on the Iran issue vis-a-vie American National Interests.

Iran trains, supports and arms Hamas, Hezbollah and fellow rogue nation Syria. Iran supplies Shi’ite radicals in Iraq. Iran has aided insurgency in Afghanistan. Iran worst of all is developing weapons nuclear technology that only an idiot would believe will not turn into nuclear weapons.

These are serious acts of global intrusion that destabilizes the Middle East and consequently America and the global economy. Why? Because the life blood of multiple national economies is not the value of currency and national debts owned by whatever other nation. In this stage of the Earth’s history EVERYTHING is centered surrounding oil/petroleum.

Thus one of the greatest sources of global angst (or should be) is that rogue nations or nations dominated by fanatical theological nations. That place is the Middle East for the most part. Iran is the center of destabilization yet Wahhabi Islamofascist Theo-political thinking dominates the Big Dog Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is currently in America’s camp only because the Saudi leadership realizes that is a counterweight to Twelver Shi’ite Iran. That means Saudi Arabia is not a solid ally. The Saudi leadership has to play a Machiavellian political game between assuaging American Interests and placating the radical Wahhabi Theo-political ideology of mainstream Saudi citizens.

Given the correct catalyst Saudi Arabia could be the next national government in favor of a Wahhabi National Saudi revolution.

Iran was a solid American ally under the brutal Shah who alienated his people by attempting to Westernize Iran. President Carter abandoned the Shah when American support could have been used thus establishing the Iranian Revolution and the deposing of the Shah. Iran’s government switched from a repressive Shah operated government to an Islamofascist intolerant Mullahcracy.

This Mullahcracy is bent on spreading Mohammedanism as they view their prophet had done in the 600’s. Global destabilization is the goal because the Twelver Shi’ites believes this will bring global chaos. The onset of global chaos will bring the Lost Twelfth Imam – the Mahdi. The Mahdi will force the world into Mohammedanism or so the Twelvers believe.

So again let us consider Iran.

Another invasion would stretch the American Military a bit too much. Not to mention the Leftists might experience an aneurism or throw themselves into seizures over the audacity of protecting American National Interests from psychotic conquering wannabee Islamofascists.

Here is an interesting option that does not include invasion: Exact a military blockade on gas imports into Iran. I have learned from a Max Boot article in “
contentions” that Iran does not have many refineries to accommodate their volumes of oil. Indeed the Iranian populace is currently rioting over gas shortages and gas prices in oil rich Iran. What an irony that is!

Messing with Islamofascist Iran’s economy its government may collapse upon itself ending the Mullahcracy government. America can fight destabilization with destabilization.

WHY HAMAS WON

Here is a Ralph Peters essay on how Hamas won its victory over Fatah. It was sent via the American Congress for Truth email list.

WHY HAMAS WON

By RALPH PETERS
Via ACT Email
Fri, 29 Jun 2007

June 19, 2007 -- HAMAS won its shut-out victory in Gaza with alarming ease. And the reason Hamas won is even more alarming: Fanaticism trumps numbers.

You'll hear no end of explanations for the terrorist triumph: Hamas was backed by Iran; Gaza is Hamas' base of support; some Fatah units ran out of ammunition . . .

All true. And all secondary factors.

Fatah's security forces in Gaza outnumbered the Hamas gunmen. Fatah had stockpiles of weapons and military gear (now in Hamas' arsenal). Fatah even had the quiet backing of Israel and America.

And Fatah folded like a pup tent in a tornado.

Hamas won because its fighters are religious fanatics ready to die for their cause. Fatah runs an armed employment agency under the banner of Palestinian nationalism. Most of the latter's security men are on the payroll because relatives or ward pols got them jobs. And they want to stay alive to collect their wages.

The result was predictable. Our government pretended otherwise. Now hairs should be standing up on the backs of thousands of necks, from the White House to the Green Zone.

Yes, Iraq is more complex than Gaza. But once you pierce the surface turbulence and look deep, the similarities are chilling: Iraq's security forces do include true patriots - but most of the troops and cops just want a job, or were ordered to join up by a sheik or a mullah, or are gathering guns until their faction calls.

The al-Qaeda-in-Iraq terrorists, the core members of Muqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army and the hard-line Sunni ghazis are willing to die for the victory of their faction and their faith. They believe they're doing Allah's will. It gives them a strength we rush to explain away.

The raw numbers suggest that Iraq's fanatics don't stand a chance. The government has a far greater numerical advantage than did Fatah. But numbers often mislead analysts during insurgencies: Iraq's government wouldn't last a week without U.S. troops.

The lesson from Gaza is that such wars are neither waged nor won by the majority of the population. A tiny fraction of the populace, armed and determined, can destroy a fragile government and seize power.

Polls showing that most Iraqis "want peace" and don't support the extremists only deceive us (because we want to be deceived). It wouldn't matter if 99 percent of the Iraqis loved us like free falafel, if we're unwilling to annihilate the fraction of 1 percent of the population with the weapons andwill to dictate the future to the rest.

At the height of last week's fighting in Gaza, one Palestinian in 300 carried a weapon in support of Hamas - a third of one percent of the population. Now Hamas rules 1.5 million people.

Numbers still matter, of course. But strength of will can overcome hollow numbers. And nothing - nothing - gives men a greater strength of will than religious fanaticism.

We don't want to hear it. Secular virtues were supposed to triumph. They didn't, but we still can't let go of our dream of a happy-face, godless world where nobody quarrels.

Our refusal to acknowledge the unifying - and terrifying -power of extremist religion has deep roots. As academics rejected and derided faith in the last century, even the Thirty Years' War - the horrible climax of Europe's wars of religion - was reinvented as a dynastic struggle, or a fight for hegemony, or a class struggle.

But the Thirty Years' War was about faith. All the other factors were in play, but the core issue, from the Protestant coup in Prague in 1618 to the Peace of Westphalia in 1648, was religious identity. And the atrocities committed on both sides make Iraq look like amateur hour: Wars of religion always demand blood sacrifice. (It was a compromise of bloody exhaustion that ended the Thirty Years War.)

Our problem is that, of those who rise in government, few have witnessed the power of revelation or caught a life changing glimpse of the divine. They simply can't imagine that others might be willing to die for all that mumbo-jumbo. Our convenience-store approach to faith leaves us numb to the passion of our enemies.

The true believer always beats the feckless attendee. The best you can hope for is that the extremist will eventually defeat himself.

And that does leave us some hope: Fanatics inevitably over-reach, as al Qaeda's Islamo-fascists have done in Iraq, alienating those who once saw them as allies. But the road to self-destruction can be a long one: The people of Iran want change, but the fanatics have the guns. And sorry, folks: Fanatics with guns beat liberals with ideas.

Faith is the nuclear weapon of the fanatic. And there's not going to be a religious "nuclear freeze." It doesn't matter how many hearts and minds you win, if you don't defeat the zealots with the muscles.

Coulter Bushwhacked on Slanted Left Hardball

I do not know what Ann Coulter was thinking to agree to go on one of the most Leftist of Left Wing Media Shows known as Hard Ball. Coulter said she was enticed by being able to promote her book Godless: The Church of Liberalism.

Hello Ann, it was an ambush from the start. The Godless used the empathy of a woman (Elizabeth Edwards) fighting for her life with cancer to pounce on bushwhacked Coulter. Coulter tried to dig herself out a hole, but what can you say to John (hide behind the skirts) Edwards’ wife displaying public righteous indignation about Coulter wit against witless liberal Democrats.

Coulter could only go so far – even for her brashness.

But now (as the Christian Right would say), Coulter has her medium and she returns fire to Elizabeth Edwards and Leftist Hard Ball.

If Mohammedans in America do not Assimilate …

I just read an interesting article originating from NewsMax but I receive from an email list known as the Blind Conservatives. It is entitled “Muslim Societies Can't Be Trusted.” The gist of the NewsMax article is that Mohammedanism is essentially a fifth column in America and Western Nations in general.

Even if radical Islamism is a minority representative of Mohammedanism in general, it is radical Islamism that is the money that supports Mohammedan programs and mosques in America, particularly the written material disseminated as the teachings of Mohammedanism.

This fifth column behind the scenes activities in the West have produced situations in which Mohammedans DO NOT assimilate to Western Culture, rather they segregate themselves. This segregation promotes anti-American (anti-Western) attitudes among Mohammedans (particularly Mohammedan youth). This means the so-called Moderate Mohammedan is slowly transforming to Islamism as the youth mature to adult Mohammedans.

This segregation mindset has actually resulted in Mohammedan enclaves that have become cities or communes that practice Sharia Law as much as they can get away with it. The problem with Sharia Law is that it is counter to American Constitutional Law in respect of freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

In Europe and Canada Islamist supported groups are demanding the Western Democracies to recognize special dispensations to allow segregated Mohammedans to practice Sharia Law. The impetus though not as public in America is also gaining a backing for the promotion of Sharia Law in Mohammedan enclaves.

Nearly every single Mohammedan non-profit organization (e.g. CAIR and MPAC) are promoting this segregation and non-assimilation to American Culture.

The Leftists in America are unwitting deluded supporters of this segregation under the auspices of multiculturalism. So friends do not just be concerned with illegal alien Latinos (of which most are actually looking for a work situation – the American dream while speaking Spanish), rather also be concerned of Mohammedans that wish to make Unconstitutional “Sharia Law” the law of the land.

To counter this America needs to abandon Leftist multiculturalism in favor of American assimilation: Meaning English as the National Language and the education of English and American cultural heritage that has led up to American concepts of Democracy. That means not to teach Mohammedanism and Secular Humanism as alternatives to American Culture, rather teach that they exist and are different than the American heritage.

The immigrants of old that were not English (e.g. Dutch, Scandinavian, Italian, Irish, Germanic and so on) all assimilated to American Culture. The immigrants of yesteryear did not segregate themselves into multicultural independent communities holding on to the past of the Old Country.

America needs to be alert to a fifth column mentality that exists among foreigners entering America, especially to that of the Islamist persuasion.

Sean Hannity VS Senator Voinovich (R Ohio)

Sean Hannity had a phone interview with Voinovich under the auspices of his syndicated Radio Talk Show. Under questioning Voinovich appeared to be inept as a public servant not knowing details a Senator voting on important issues should be aware of.

Voinovich became so frustrated that he eventually hung up on Hannity the number 2 rated Radio Talk Show in America and the listeners.

How a Christian Right Republican should view Romney

I am not a Mormon. I believe Mormon beliefs are not Christian beliefs. I believe Mormon beliefs place Mormonism in the realm of a cult that is closer to Gnostic-Christianity rather legitimate Christianity.

Having said that: What about Mitt Romney?

I believe Romney is a good man with morals that many Christians in this day and age fail to live up to. I say that not knowing Romney; however I have known some Mormons (via work etc.) in my time. The Mormons I have known have a moral system that is conducive to the Christian Right.

I consider Mormonism to be a Christian heresy. I believe practicing Mormons to be engaged in a theology that even many of them do not comprehend. Sensitive questions are rarely answered with a straight answer but rather with a defensive deflection move the questioner off the point.

Knowing how I feel about Mormonism, would I vote for Mitt Romney for President?

During the primaries the answer would be NO. If Romney is the Republican nominee, the answer is a diminutive yes. A moral/Conservative Romney would be a better President than a so-called Progressive (oft times godless) Democrat that believes that Christian morality is an archaic belief system.
The Stiletto has some comments on Mitt and Mormonism. You really should read The Stiletto on Mormonism and Mitt’s candidacy.

SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOR OF WISCOSIN RIGHT TO LIFE AND ...

Here in Newt Gingrich’s take on the Supreme Court affirmation of Free Speech in America. (SlantRight Editor: This Winning the Future e-newsletter will be abridged to only pertain to McCain/Feingold. Click the link to read more.)

BREAKING NEWS -- SUPREME COURT RULES IN FAVOR OF WISCOSIN RIGHT TO LIFE AND AGAINST MCCAIN-FEINGOLD GAG ORDER LAW

In a substantial and important victory for democracy and free speech, the Supreme Court just hours ago announced that the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform law cannot completely stifle the free speech of citizens and groups such as Wisconsin Right to Life, which brought the challenge to the McCain-Feingold law's assault on liberty.

The case arose when Wisconsin Right to Life was prohibited from running an ad urging listeners to call their Wisconsin senators and tell them not to filibuster President Bush's judicial nominees. Today, this exercise of free political speech has been vindicated by the nation's highest court.

The 1st Amendment to the Constitution says: "Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech." It does not say Congress can abridge speech it doesn't like.

By striking the first significant blow against the McCain-Feingold anti-free speech law, the court has struck a blow for the constitutional rights of all of us. Yet there is more work to do. We must continue the vigorous work of groups such as Wisconsin Right to Life to ultimately repeal this pernicious law's censorship of the American people.

Bloomberg Is Proof That We Should Repeal the Rest of McCain-Feingold

The other news this week is that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg changed his party affiliation from Republican to Independent as the first move toward what many people think will be a run for President.

I think Bloomberg has done a terrific job as mayor, and people of New York who've twice picked him to lead their city seem to agree. He has every right to decide to run for President, and I hope he does. He will make a fantastic addition to the race.

But the possible Bloomberg candidacy highlights yet another of the anti-democratic, pro-Washington power structure aspects of the McCain-Feingold so-called campaign finance law.

Michael Bloomberg is a billionaire with plenty of money to spend on campaigning. When he ran for re-election as mayor, he reportedly spent $112 a vote. If Bloomberg enters a three-way presidential race as an Independent and spends just half of what he did per vote for his two campaigns for mayor, the amount would be enormous. In this model, if Bloomberg targeted the same number of votes as Clinton did in 1992 to win 43% of the vote and the presidency, Bloomberg would spend upwards of $1 billion dollars. That's BILLION with a B.

Repeal McCain-Feingold and Give a Middle-Class Candidate a Chance

The tyranny of the anti-free speech McCain-Feingold law is that it cripples any middle-class candidate from matching the resources Mayor Bloomberg has ready in his bank account. While Mayor Bloomberg can simply write a check, McCain-Feingold forces less wealthy candidates to raise money in impossibly small amounts to compete.

The perverse effect of McCain-Feingold is that it has made money in politics more important, not less.

I wish Mayor Bloomberg all the success in the world. But Congress should take this opportunity to level the playing field and repeal McCain-Feingold.

A truly functioning campaign system would take power out of Washington and return it to its owners -- the American people. Such a system would allow individuals to make unlimited contributions to candidates for Congress in their district, so long as it is reported immediately on the Internet and is transparent and accessible.

McCain/Feingold Broadcast Blackout Periods Slapped Down by Supreme Court

A victory for free speech was just upheld by the United States Supreme Court. In a case involving Federal Election Commission (FEC) VS Wisconsin Right to Life, the Supreme Court struck down as Unconstitutional portions of McCain/Feingold that would enforce media blackout periods prior to elections.

U. S. Supreme Court Protects Grassroots Lobbying From McCain/Feingold Broadcast Blackout Periods

Christian Newswire
June 25, 2007

WASHINGTON, June 25 /Christian Newswire/ -- In a tremendous victory for citizens and citizen organizations, the U. S. Supreme Court today created a safe harbor for grassroots lobbying from the blackout period created by the "electioneering communication" prohibition in McCain-Feingold. The opinion in FEC v. Wisconsin Right to Life (No. 06-969, consolidated with McCain v. Wisconsin Right to Life, No. 06-970) is available on the Supreme Court's website at http://www.supremecourtus.gov/ along with other case documents.

"Today, the U.S. Supreme Court restored the right of citizens and citizen organizations to engage in grassroots lobbying through the use of broadcast communications," said Barbara Lyons, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life. "The Court soundly rejected the attempts by Senators McCain and Feingold and their allies to silence Wisconsin Right Life's efforts to inform the public regarding an important issue pending in Congress and to urge citizens to contact their elected officials regarding that issue. This is a tremendous victory for all citizens and citizen organizations."

James Bopp, lead counsel for WRTL, states, "The Supreme Court has given meaning to its recognition, in McConnell, that there are 'genuine issue ads,' which incumbent politicians could not silence. Grassroots lobbying is important to citizens involvement in their own government and it has nothing to do with elections. The Court has now restored to the people the most effective means, broadcast ads, for efforts to influence incumbent politicians when they pass laws to tax and regulate us."

Bopp adds, "Incumbent politicians have no constitutional authority to quash criticism of their conduct in office. The American Revolution was fought, and the First Amendment enacted, precisely to protect the people's right to criticize the government. The Court today has rejected the audacious attempt by Senator McCain and his allies to overturn the First Amendment's protection and empower incumbent politicians with the power to ban public criticism--even ban ads that contain no such criticism."

History of the case:

McCain-Feingold (the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 or "BCRA") prohibited corporations and unions from using general funds for electioneering communications, which are essentially broadcast ads within 30 days of a primary and 60 days of a general election that simply mention the name of a federal candidate. In 2003, the U. S. Supreme Court upheld the law on its face in McConnell v. FEC.

In July 2004, Wisconsin Right to Life began running grassroots lobbying ads asking Wisconsin citizens to call their Senators, Kohl and Feingold (then a candidate), and ask them to oppose the burgeoning filibusters of President Bush's judicial nominees.

Here is the text of one of those ads: "There are a lot of judicial nominees out there who can't go to work. Their careers are put on hold because a group of Senators is filibustering--blocking qualified nominees from a simple 'yes' or 'no' vote. It's politics at work and it's causing gridlock. Contact Senators Feingold and Kohl and tell them to oppose the filibuster. Visit: BeFair.org"

The BeFair.org website was specially created for the anti-filibuster campaign and contained information about the Senate confirmation process, the filibusters, federal courts, the judicial emergency caused by too few judges, and press releases about the anti-filibuster grassroots lobbying campaign. The website set out the Senators' positions on the filibusters, but contained no advocacy for or against either Senator as a candidate, no reference to the upcoming election and no statement urging the election or defeat of either Senator.

Because Sen. Feingold had chosen to run for re-election, Wisconsin Right to Life's ads would have become forbidden electioneering communications from August 15 to November 2, 2004 (79 continuous days because the primary and general election prohibition overlapped). Meanwhile, Congress remained in session and it was widely predicted that there would be a "fall showdown" on the filibuster issue. WRTL filed suit so that it would be able to continue running its ads during the blackout period.

WRTL's suit claimed that the blackout period could not be constitutionally applied to grass roots lobbying about upcoming votes in Congress. The right to petition the government is a protected right in the First Amendment and grassroots lobbying has nothing to do with elections. WRTL argued that incumbent politicians should not be able to prohibit citizens from lobbying their representatives through campaign finance laws.

In 2004, the district court denied Wisconsin Right to Life's request and dismissed the case in 2005, based on its belief that when the Supreme Court upheld the blackout provision on its face in McConnell it precluded such as-applied challenges. In 2006, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously reversed the district court, ruling that as-applied challenges could be brought against the blackout period, and remanded the case for a decision on Wisconsin Right to Life's as-applied challenge.

In December 2006, the district court held the electioneering communication prohibition unconstitutional as applied to Wisconsin Right to Life's 2004 ads. It found that there was "no link" between the ads that Wisconsin Right to Life wanted to continue running and Sen. Feingold's character or fitness for office. (i.e., his role as a candidate as opposed to his role as a legislator).

In its Supreme Court appeal, Senator McCain and the other co-sponsors of the McCain-Feingold law argued that broadcast ads could be prohibited if they "took a critical stance regarding a candidate's position on an issue." While WRTL's ads did not criticize either Senator Feingold or Senator Kohl, McCain claimed they did by just bringing up the filibuster issue during an election.

In today's decision, the Supreme Court went beyond merely affirming the district and created a constitutional safe harbor for grass roots lobbying. It stated that, if the communications meet certain specific criteria, they could be broadcast during the blackout periods. The Court set out the following criteria.

Bopp says, "It will be important now for the Federal Election Commission, which has so long fought any protection for grassroots lobbying within the blackout period, to act promptly to adopt regulations which will give full effect to the Supreme Court mandate."

UFO’s and Fallen Angels

This is a rare acknowledged phenomenon among Christians. I myself have not had the time to do the research to discover if it is plausible or fringe thinking. What is the “is” I am talking about? UFOlology and Christian prophetic theology is what I am talking about.

The Apocryphal Ethiopian Book of Enoch (not Apocryphal to Coptic Ethiopian Christians) and Biblical Scripture in this UFOlology have been lined up to explain UFO’s, alien abductions and fallen angels under the theological heading of Eschatology.

On second thought it sounds like fringe thinking. I try to keep an open mind for ministers I respect in the Word of Faith have written books on this phenomenon. On the other hand that individual’s book is not available on his website, he may have mused the possibility of fringe thinking as well.

With that in mind Christian Newswire has a story on UFO’s that is fascinating (even it is fringe thinking).

Prophecy Watch - Signs in the Stars

Christian Newswire
June 25, 2007

MEDIA ADVISORY, June 25 /
Christian Newswire/ -- It seems we have been brought to a new revelation regarding the end times. The world has welcomed the UFO (unidentified flying object) and alien phenomenon for many years now. The latest Roper Poll shows more than half (56 percent) of the American public believing UFOs are real and not imaginary. Numerous sightings have been reported and people claiming to have had close-encounters with so-called "alien beings". Well, now there is a different perspective on the UFO phenomenon and this one is from a Biblical standpoint. Mr. Richard Stout of Long Island, New York claims he has a spiritual gift from the Holy Spirit that guided him into understanding the answer to this strange phenomenon.

By breaking down certain key words in the Holy Bible and cross-referencing them with the Ethiopian Book of Enoch he has uncovered the very coincidental similarities between certain abduction cases and sighting reports that are linked to eyewitness accounts. A website has been developed to help those who have experienced such accounts and to help create support groups for understanding the entire phenomenon is a demonic one and that Jesus is the answer in solving the problem. Mr. Stout is a former UFOlogist and "experiencer" and has collaborated with Brian Levens (who goes under the pen name Byron Lebeau on website) in writing essays on the subject.

Using Greek and Hebrew dictionaries as a reference to the key words found in Scripture, Mr. Stout has undergone many months of writing and prayer to help get the word out. "I am only being used as an instrument…" says Richard, "…This information must get out to the public as it is crucial people understand these so-called UFOs are in fact real and will be used as part of God's judgments on man and we are that close to many signs and wonders." It looks as if we aren't alone after all, only these "aliens" are fallen angels masquerading as extraterrestrials from another planet!

AFA VS Snopes.com Round 2

As many of you know Snopes.com has taken umbrage to an Action Alert from the AFA on June 14. The AFA alerted their readers and supporters that H.R. 1592 and S. 1105 are potential legislation that can be used as persecution toward Bible Believing Christian. The persecution would be labeling preaching and public expression of Biblical Christian Morality as hate speech.

Snopes.com proclaimed the AFA Alert was a gross stretch and down right false and thus in the realm of “Urban Legend.”

This was disturbing to me for I often use Snopes.com as a source to debunk scams and chain email. After careful consideration I decided to stick up for the American Family Association. This is when I posted “
AFA VS Snopes.com.” I used The Real Truth article about how the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals manipulated current laws to render a Leftist anti-Free Speech ruling for posting Christian material on work place bulletin boards is illegal (while the posting of homosexual information was perfectly condoned) as an example.

I am extremely delighted the AFA have has chosen an official rebuttal to Snopes.com which I will post as well. I also must point out that I still believe that Snopes.com is the debunker of Urban Legends on the Internet. I do not know the official politics of Snopes.com but going after the AFA Action Alert was more secular humanistic cultural spin than an exposé of a falsehood.

I am going to point you to another blog I use for the official AFA response to Snopes.com. I would place it here but my tech guy (my son) is a little slow in allowing unlimited html at SlantRight. If I have too much html the web spirits will not allow me to post. That is the case there is a lot of html links to back up the AFA response to Snopes.com.

I am
The Plebian and the entire rebuttal is posted there: You can read now if you so wish.

America Supports Terrorists: Palestinian State by Appeasement

Here is another Hamas-Fatah-Palestine consideration. Fatah has a history of corrupt thuggery that has embezzled money meant for the people and used it for hate propaganda, guns & ammo as well as self-aggrandizement of the Fatah Thug elites. The PLO of which Fatah is central has been has been stealing from its people at least from the time dead thug-in-chief Yasser Arafat manipulated the Palestinian movement as mob corporation to become a millionaire.

Enter Hamas: they lost the corruption factor toward their people. However they embraced the radical Islamism of the Muslim Brotherhood and Wahhabi Mohammedanism. This school of thought considers the medieval pseudo-prophet Mohammed’s death-cult ideology to spread Mohammed’s teaching as purity and that resistance is futile. All must be assimilated or die.

Both are murderers with a different vision with the only one goal – the destruction of Israel (the first by deception, the later with overt intent).

Can anyone see
the lunacy of giving weaponry to either group? Weapons were already given to Fatah, which fell into the hands of Hamas in Gaza. America and the EU is considering giving weapons and money to unstable Fatah ludicrously thinking it will bolster a corrupt and weak Mahmoud Abbas.

No Shalit, No Humanitarian Aid to Hamas Ruled Gaza

Now that Hamas has booted the legitimate governing authority known as the Palestine Authority (PA) out of Gaza some interesting international outcomes will no doubt result. Hamas will start whining for humanitarian and financial aid for the poor Palestinians in Gaza that support murderous terrorism.

The victimhood DEMAND will first go to Israel that has an influence on utilities, food and money for the PA and thus Gaza. There is not a doubt in my mind that the United Nations and the European Union will exert pressure on Israel to deliver aid to the poor starving murderers living in squalor because of their on choice of lifestyle. If Israel refuses then the UN and EU will contemplate sending some sort of “Relief” to the society of terrorist murderers in Gaza.

The
MK Rabbi Yitzchak Levy (MK for you Americans that don’t understand Parliamentarian government, is the equivalent of a Congressman) has suggested before any “Relief” or “Humanitarian Aid” goes to Gaza, Hamas should be forced to give up kidnapped Gilad Shalit. (Thoughts from A Blog For All)

I wonder how the Slanted Left Diplomats and Politicians will fuss about this very reasonable suggestion.

The Surge is Working

Redhunter has more on the surge particularly as it relates to Diyala Province and the city of Baquba. According Redhunter al Qaeda is getting it butt kicked as in shoot and ask questions later.

I am a Thompson Man (so far)

As I suspected would happen the Thompson candidacy detractors are beginning to emerge. I have just read an editorial from the Washington Times evaluating Thompson’s Conservative credentials. (Hat tip to Exposing Democrats)

It is really is not hostile toward Thompson; however the editorial reiterates over and over again Thompson’s support for the
McCain/Feingold bill which could benefit candidates with controversy in their back ground. The bill if enforced by statute could silence free speech about candidates for a certain period (I don’t remember) prior to elections.

As you can guess it will be unfair to the candidate that needs to play catch up (Republican or Democrat). It effectively shuts down blogs like mine that wish to reveal that which the Mainstream Media (MSM) fails to do.

I have to tell you Thompson’s support of this bill is annoying.

Putting that aside, Thompson is still the best Conservative out there that can provide fluid communication skills to counter the half truths and outright lies of the Democratic Candidates.

I am still a Thompson man.

AFA VS Snopes.com

I have been watching The Constitutional course of H.R. 1592 and S.1105 as they are debated in Committees. If the House and the Senate work out the details, the legislation would come across the White House desk of President Bush.

The
American Family Association claims if the House and Senate action on these bills proceeds it will make free speech for Bible based Christians a hate crime (SlantRight Editor: because it could fall under inciting homosexuals and sexual deviants toward violence).

Snopes.com in no uncertain terms has listed the AFA claims about the H.R. 1592 and S. 1105 as a hoax, meaning the AFA is lying about the legislation.

I might add as a SlantRight.com editor that I usually find Snopes.com a reliable source of disseminating of what is truth and what is false based on the facts. Currently I lean toward the possibility that the Snopes.com interpretation of
H.R. 1592 and S. 1105 is less a debunking and more an expression of the Slanted Left position on these two bills.

Here is the
fair(est) audit of the opinions of what the House bill and the Senate bill would accomplish I have if enacted. After reading the link it becomes obvious that the Snopes.com proclamation of “Hoax” is not a simple cut and dry assertion. There are some political Big Dogs that agree with the AFA and agree with Snopes.com. Snopes.com fails to mention this by choosing Liberal side thus the label of hoax.

This
June 8th article about how the Left Wing Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (West Left Coast district) from The Real Truth demonstrates how the Slanted Left is able to manipulate laws. (By the by, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals is the most overturned Appellate Court in America’s judicial system.)

Here is a call to Bible believing Christians to make your voice known. Write your Congressman and Senator to voice your opinion about H.R. 1592 and S. 1105.

Knowing Al Qaida

Does anyone in America comprehend al Qaeda other than they are a group of terrorist that attacked the American Homeland by a homicidal suicide attack commission by nominal leader Usama bin Laden?

The reason al Qaeda is a successful terror organ is its innovative complex structure that America has not deciphered as yet to terminate.

James J. F. Forrest provides insight into the four dimensions of al Qaeda. It is unfortunate that the Forrest does not use this insight of “Knowing al Qaeda” to develop a means to end viable destroy the global murderers.

Sarkozy and National Assembly Elections

President Sarkozy of France suffered the first set back of his Presidential regime. Sarkozy’s UMP Party lost elections reducing its majority from 357 seats to 315 seats out of 577 seats available at the French National Assembly.

The Socialist ran a spin on taxation that voters apparently listened to and did not like; nonetheless Sarkozy’s political coalition of partners still is the majority in the National Assembly. Sarkozy’s reform vigor is just a little tarnished, I suspect that the charisma that resulted in his election as President of France will prevail in most of his agenda.

14% -- Congress Poll Numbers Plunge!

It is interesting to note that a recent Gallup Poll has the United States Military is at the top of the confidence list of American Institutional entities (69%).

Guess which American entity is at the VERY BOTTOM of the confidence list (14%)?

You thank
MoveAmericaForward for the heads up the Democratic Party or Leftist media will deliver without a spin.

More Words about Jerry Falwell

Jerry Falwell died May 15, 2007. That is a little over a month as of this writing. He was a man that evoked little middle ground: He was honored or despised on a huge polarized scale. Most might believe that that those that carried great disdain for Rev. Falwell were all Slanted Left individual; however I can vouch that some Conservative of the Right disliked him as well. My own son he tends to be a Slanted Right Libertarian (almost an oxymoron these days) had words characterizing Falwell’s death in the same hate terminology I have heard from the Slanted Left which despise the Christian Right like hungry piranhas in a feeding frenzy.

I myself have had mixed feelings toward Rev. Falwell over the years but never on the scale of hatred espoused by way too many people. My disagreements tended to be over theological issues more than politics (He a Baptist, I a Charismatic Pentecostal – oil and water). Yes, Rev. Falwell too often inserted his foot in his mouth politically; however we all have. The arm chair politician is not famous, Rev. Falwell was famous. Thus when Falwell allowed his personal feeling to move his lips before his brain the Slanted Left media was there to make sure all America heard about it.

I am on a Richard Viguerie email list. Viguerie is a paleoconservative that is gaining momentum among the Conservative Right because of President Bush’s bad decisions. Needless to say Viguerie is not a Bush fan, yet he is a staunch Conservative. Here are some belated words about Reverend Jerry Falwell sent via email on a June 19th delivery.

The Enduring Legacy of Jerry Falwell

FOR RELEASE June 19, 2007

What was it about Jerry Falwell that, even after his death, drives liberals crazy?

Journalist Christopher Hitchens called the minister "a little toad" with "chubby little flanks" and called his ministry a "get rich quick scheme,” adding that Falwell may not have read the Bible: "I would doubt that be could actually read any long book…at all.” Said Hitchens: “I think it’s a pity there isn’t a Hell for him to go to.”

Alan Wolfe of Salon.com wrote: "One never wants to speak ill of the dead, but in the case of Jerry Falwell, how can one not?"

In the Calgary Sun, Kathleen Parker wrote: "Jerry Falwell's prosaic death has elevated speaking ill of the dead to the level of sacrament.”

Bill Maher, on his HBO program, remarked, regarding Falwell, that "Death is not always sad.”

Amanda Marcotte, John Edwards's former campaign blogger, wrote: "The gates of Hell swing open and Satan welcomes his beloved son.”

In the New York Times, columnist Frank Rich wrote, "Mr. Falwell was always on the wrong, intolerant side of history...Mr. Falwell had long been an embarrassment and laughingstock to many, including a new generation of Christian leaders."

Cathleen Faisani, religion writer for the Chicago Sun Times, wrote that "my initial reaction to the Rev. Falwell’s death was, and remains a relief…The Rev. Falwell was a spiritual bully. He was Tony Soprano."

During one report, CNN lingered for 15 seconds on a protester's sign that placed Falwell's face next to Hitler’s.

Beyond these gratuitous insults were statements in the mainstream media about Dr. Falwell’s legacy that showed a lack of understanding of Falwell, his followers, and the broader world of Christian conservatives.

One reporter or commentator after, another suggested that Dr. Falwell's power waned in the last 20 years. In fact, he simply changed his focus--from a short-term emphasis on direct political activity to a long-term emphasis or producing new leaders for America and the world.

The Falwell legacy includes:

· Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, Virginia, which Dr. Falwell founded in 1965. In 40 years, his 35-member congregation grew to 22,000.

· "The Old Time Gospel Hour," the longest-continuously-running religious program on television

· Liberty Channel, a satellite-cable network offering inspirational, family-friendly programming;

· Liberty Godparent Foundation, helping unwed pregnant teenagers, babies, and adoptive families through a maternity home and an adoption agency.

· Elim Home, providing a place of protection and care for men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction.

· Liberty Counsel, with affiliate attorneys in all 50 states, providing free legal assistance on matters related to religious freedom, the sanctity of human life, and the traditional family.

· Liberty Christian Academy, an accredited institution with 1,000 students in pre-school through the 12th grade.

· Liberty University, which is creating a new generation of religious-conservative leaders, with a current enrollment of 9,600 on-campus students and over 18,000 in off-campus distance learning programs. The Liberty University debate team has won national championships in all three intercollegiate debating associates for two consecutive years. The first class just graduated from Liberty University's law school.

Since Liberty University was founded in 1971, it has produced more than 190,000 graduates, including about 11,000 who have become pastors and are carrying on the ideas they learned from Dr. Falwell.

Over the next 10 years, Liberty University is on schedule to graduate over 200,000 conservative Christians who will be future leaders in ministries, the law, public policy, and politics. A school of engineering will start in the Fall and a medical school is in the works as well.

Before Jerry Falwell, most evangelical Protestants--if they were involved in politics at all--were Democrats. They made up Jimmy Carter’s base, without which he could never have been elected president.

But after Carter’s IRS falsely attacked Christian schools as segregation academies, and after Carter supported items on the left-wing agenda such as the so-called Equal Rights Amendment, Jerry Falwell helped bring millions of social and religious conservatives into politics on the side of Ronald Reagan and other political conservatives.

The Republican Party owed its 1994-2006 majority in Congress to the tens of millions of former Democrats who followed Jerry Falwell into the GOP.

At the same time, Dr. Falwell broke down ages-old barriers between conservative Protestants and Catholics, Mormons, Jews, and others.

Peter Applebome wrote in the New York Times that Falwell “helped pull off what had once seemed an impossible task: uniting religious conservatives from many faiths and doctrines by emphasizing what they had in common.”

NBC’s Tim Russert acknowledged that Falwell was able to “suggest that religious people, whether they be Protestant, Catholic, or Jewish, could come together on conservative issues and have real political influence.”

Zev Chafets, who has written extensively about the relationship between evangelicals and Jews, wrote in the Los Angeles Times that “American Jews who now take evangelical friendship for granted need to know that it is, to a large extent, a grant from Jerry Falwell.”

A man, beloved by almost everyone who knew him, overcame ages-old divisions and brought millions together in a cause that changed the course of history. Dr. Falwell’s legacy will continue to be felt in our nation for decades to come.

What is Weakening the West from Within?

Vanishing American has posted one of the best Christian Apologist essays I have read in some time. There is a lot of content in the essay. It is entitled, “Is Christianity Weakening us?” If I grasped the message correctly (I read it quickly), Vanishing American is saying that some anti-jihadists are blaming Christianity for a slow destruction of the West from within allowing a toe-hold of migrating Mohammedans.

Then the essayist refutes this premise by saying it is the intrusion of Left Wing thought that has corrupted the nature of Christianity to instill a guilt complex upon Churches infected by this liberalism.

If I understand Vanishing American’s essay properly I whole heartedly agree. The success of radical Islamists in Western culture is the result of a Leftist view of egalitarianism that expects an intolerant death cult will assimilate into free speech/thinking tolerant Westernism. This same Western Leftist thinking has placed a politically correct guilt complex upon them self to feed Mohammedan non-existent victimhood over a time of exploiting Western colonialism.

If Christianity is weakening the West, it is the diluted denominations that have rejected Biblical Morality and the supernatural power of the Godhead.

I am more than a little impressed that Vanishing American criticizes one of the greatest anti-jihadist writers of Europe – the blogger
Fjordman. I have to tell you I am an admirer of Fjordman thus I am a bit impressed with Vanishing America to put forth logical reasons as to why Christianity is NOT weakening the West, rather it is “liberal” Leftist transformation that has become a virus in much of mainstream denomination.

The Battle for Baquba

It is amazing that you don’t read about huge successes in Iraq. Senator Reid (King Cut-n-Run) has called Iraq a defeat and General Patraeus incompetent.

It takes patriot pro-troops bloggers to get the successes out. The problem is the Mainstream Media (MSM) nixes Surge Successes with pessimistic reporting of Leftist anti-troops and anti-Americans who refuse to buck up and find a path to victory even if politically incorrect methods are used. One does not stroke his enemy’s hand with platitudes in war. General Patten would have said the object is not to watch the poor bastard next to you get his head blown off, rather it is to blow off the head of the bastard shooting at you (Yes I know, I was taking liberty with a paraphrase but you know I am RIGHT).

The interesting thing is that local Iraqis are beginning to rat on insurgents like al Qaeda because they are beginning to see some seriousness of the will to win by American troops. This is something that Mohammedan propaganda has said Americans could not stomach a long war because of casualties; however now the insurgents are receiving the greater casualties with the direction pointing of the Iraqi people.

The Hillary Factor

Here is something to think about. Democratic Presidential candidates are coming to Republican dominated States and raising funds for their national campaigns.

Here is the thought you supposed to contemplate: Candidates like Hillary Clinton are coming to States (in my case Oklahoma) that there is no chance of winning that State’s Electoral Votes.

The Hillary Factor

OK GOP Website

It's June 18th, and this is my first post on Hillary Clinton. Something tells me it won't be my last.

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was in Oklahoma City last week for a fundraising reception where she took in over $282,000. That is a lot of money for a candidate with little to no shot of turning Oklahoma into a blue state in 2008.

That said, Republicans should be on notice. The Clintons have a well-oiled political machine that will stop at nothing in their pursuit of wealth and power.

It's hard to trust a candidate who said, "I can support the President, I can support an action against Saddam Hussein because I think it's in the long-term interests of our national security …" and then just a few years later votes against additional funds for our troops in Iraq. Even Democrats have questioned her vote. Sen. Biden said recently that Senator Clinton’s "no" vote "absolutely, positively, unquestionably" could have put U.S. troops at additional risk.

This is just one of many political votes Hillary has made in the Senate. She trusts polls, not the pulse of the American people. She's certainly out of touch with conservative Oklahoma voters on a number of issues, from abortion to socialized healthcare.

While Hillary Clinton may come to Oklahoma to fill her pockets with campaign contributions from the likes of Mike Turpin, she stands little chance of getting what really matters: the votes of the majority of Oklahomans come November 2008.

Hate Crimes Prevention Act: Snopes.com Debunking

I am a huge proponent of the American Family Association. Very recently they sent out an email to people on their email list pertaining to H.R. 1592 and S. 1105 in which Donald E. Wildmon makes no bones that the Congressional legislation would make it a “Hate Crime” for pastors and Christians to preach and publicly share Christian principles from Biblically morality. Frankly I have heard this from other sources as well.

When I posted the AFA “Action Alert” as a kind of spreading the word action on my part, I received a comment claiming the AFA “Action Alert” was a hoax. The comment was posted a from a “Anonymous.” I always hate that cowardice however I do allow it at my blog.

Anonymous gave me a link to
Snopes.com to back up the “hoax claim. Snopes.com debunking of AFA alert is well written with the precision of a cutting knife.

I went to the AFA website and asked about this in the contact section. I asked for a refutation to the Snopes.com post. Until I receive such from the AFA I am forced to put the Snopes.com “Urban Legend” post here. If the AFA sends me a response, I will post it as well.

I would like to mention that Snopes.com is very good at reporting that which is public facts. What Snopes.com is not good at educated assumptions between the lines. For example the discharging of General Pace from the Joint Chiefs of Staff will be presented in a politically correct positive light. It is interesting that General Pace is “gone” after he made public his feelings on homosexuality.

It is true that the legislation proposed above is related to violent crime; however a Secular Humanist Left Winger (Prosecutor or Judge) may feel free to interpret the law that Christian morality may be cause to incite violence against homosexuals and thus opening the Christian or Christian minister to prosecution for breaking the law.

Hate Crimes Prevention Act

Snopes.com
Last updated: 18 June 2007

Claim: A bill before Congress would make it a "hate crime" for pastors and churches to speak against homosexuality.

Status: False.

Example: [Collected via e-mail, June 2007]

A Petition To Congress In Defense Of Religious Freedom

Be one of one million Americans willing to take a stand in defense of two of our most precious freedoms — freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Here's why:

  • A California lawsuit which is now headed to the U.S. Supreme Court would make the use of the words "natural family," "marriage" and "union of a man and a woman" a "hate speech" crime in government workplaces. The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has already ruled in favor of the plaintiffs.

  • CNN and The Washington Post both reported that General Peter Pace, former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of staff, was fired because of his publicly expressed moral opposition to homosexual behavior.

  • A bill now before Congress (H.R. 1592 / S. 1105) would criminalize negative comments concerning homosexuality, such as calling the practice of homosexuality a sin from the pulpit, a "hate crime" punishable by a hefty fine and time in prison. This dangerous legislation would take away our freedom of speech and our freedom of religion.

  • Origins: The above referenced Action Alert issued by the American Family Association (AFA) in June 2007 warns readers that a bill currently before Congress would "criminalize negative comments concerning homosexuality, such as calling the practice of homosexuality a sin from the pulpit, a 'hate crime' punishable by a hefty fine and time in prison." This claim, as well as the Action Alert's bulleted references to court cases, news items, and current legislation, are gross and misleading distortions of information:

  • The court case referenced in the first item dealt with a woman who complained about anti-homosexual material posted on a bulletin board at her workplace (the Oakland Community and Economic Development Agency). After the material was removed, the persons who had posted it filed a lawsuit claiming that their free speech rights had been violated. The court ruled against the plaintiffs, noting that they "do not have a privileged First Amendment right to communicate their message to their officemates," and that the employer has an "'administrative interest' in avoiding situations that distract employees from their jobs." The lawsuit had nothing to do classifying certain words or phrases as "hate speech" or establishing their usage as a "crime."

  • The Washington Post's front-page coverage of the announcement that Marine Gen. Peter Pace would be stepping down as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff when his term expired in September did not claim that Pace was "fired because of his publicly expressed moral opposition to homosexual behavior." The Post's 9 June 2007 article on the subject mentioned in passing, in its 18th paragraph, that some congressional staffers "said Pace's recent comments to reporters at the Chicago Tribune about the military's 'don't ask, don't tell' policy, in which he said homosexuality was immoral, would also be a distracting issue" at his confirmation hearing. (The primary reason expressed in the article for Pace's dismissal was "concern from both parties that Pace's confirmation hearing could evoke bitter debate about Iraq war policy.")

    Likewise, CNN's television
coverage of the story that same day cited "the political debate about the war and the rising death rate for U.S. troops" and "progress [in Iraq that] has been too little and too slow" as the main stumbling blocks to Gen. Pace's re-confirmation, noting secondarily that other factors ("his recent statements that he believed homosexual behavior was immoral" and his writing "a letter to the judge in the 'Scooter' Libby case attesting to Libby's character") posed problems for the general "in addition to the war."

  • The proposed "Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007" (H.R. 1592 / S. 1105) currently before Congress would not "criminalize negative comments concerning homosexuality." The bill seeks to amend Title 18, Chapter 13 of the U.S. Code by adding a section on "Hate crime acts" that specifies criminal penalties for:

  • Whoever, whether or not acting under color of law, willfully causes bodily injury to any person or, through the use of fire, a firearm, or an explosive or incendiary device, attempts to cause bodily injury to any person, because of the actual or perceived religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability of any person —

    i) shall be imprisoned not more than 10 years, fined in accordance with this title, or both; and
(ii) shall be imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined in accordance with this title, or both, if —
    (I) death results from the offense; or
(II) the offense includes kidnaping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill.

The bill addresses "willfully causing bodily injury to any person" (as well as "attempts to cause bodily injury to any person") because of "actual or perceived ... gender, sexual orientation, [or] gender identity." The bill does not "criminalize negative comments concerning homosexuality," nor would it make "calling the practice of homosexuality a sin from the pulpit a 'hate crime'." The bill has nothing to do with the issue of speech; it only prescribes criminal penalties for the willful infliction of bodily injury on others. In fact, the version of the bill passed by the House of Representatives on 3 May 2007 includes a clause that specifically precludes it from applying to conduct protected by the free speech and free exercise of religion provisions of the Constitution:

Nothing in this Act, or the amendments made by this Act, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by the free speech or free exercise clauses of, the First Amendment to the Constitution.
