Chavez: Dictator of State

Hugo Chavez has alienated a significant number of his voting citizens by shutting down a popular Venezuelan TV Network. The reason for not renewing Radio Caracas Television (RCTV) broadcast license was the network allowed opposition leaders a voice. Chavez claimed this was an incitement of a coup that failed a few years ago.

There has been days of rioting as Chavez’s police as been brutalizing protestors supporting RCTV.

Now Chavez is spinning the riots. He is claiming various nations including America are executing a right wing conspiracy to de-stabilize the Chavez government in Venezuela. The reality is global election watchers should be concerned that Chavez won a legitimate election. If Chavez can shut down the voice of his opposition, then democratic selection of leaders has ended.

As the Bolsheviks evolved into Soviet Communists in Russia; Chavez is evolving Venezuela into a one Party State with him as Dictator of State and Government.
