Washington State Governor Proclaims June LGBT Month

O Washington State - the home of fresh and evergreen trees and it is the State in which I grew up. There are not too many places in America where you can find desert-like terrain, mountains, volcanoes, pine forests and even rain forests all in one State of the Union.

Washington is a State in which 2/3 of the people live on the 1/3 West of the Cascade Mountain Range. The rest of the people live on the Eastern 2/3 of the State. Guess which side has determined the political agenda of the Evergreen State. A simple perusal of the number shows Western Washington dominates the entire State.

Unfortunately it is Western Washington that is inundated by moonbat Leftists that is beginning to make my old home look like a home for secular humanist moral relativity.

Now why would I be spouting off about this?

Governor Gregoire - a Democrat - has declared the month of June LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual and Transgender) month in Washington State (that I still love) according to Sound Politics. A Governor that won her election by slimmest margin of any Governor in the history of the United States I might add. A Governor that benefited from tainted election ballots, but that is another story.

Sound Politics has a copy of the original State e-mail document in pdf format you can view. It is signed by Deputy Secretary Bill White of the Washington State Department of Health.

In that email, Bill White wrote:
At each display site there will be individual copies of a story about the Danish response to Nazi oppression during World War II with a pink triangle attached; people are encouraged to take one, read the story, and wear the triangle.

A Comment posted at Sound Politics asks,

Is this an insinuation that LGBT people in the USA today face the same dangers that they did in Nazi Germany? Where are those death camps located? It's also a distortion of history--it was a *Star of David* that the KING of Denmark wore, that many non-Jewish Danes also wore, as a protest against the invading Nazi forces demand that Jews wear the star. The idea is, of course, solidarity with the oppressed, for their protection (?), but the ends don't warrant confusing the means. Sloppy history for the sake of ideology isn't a good thing. I'll bet that if this pink triangle was replaced with the Star of David, many people would refuse to wear it.

The implication that stretches from the moonbat Governor is that homosexuals are discriminated group on the way to death camps much as Jews were during the WWII atrocity of Nazi genocide. What a piece of ignorant moral travesty: Governor Gregoire's Administration is comparing God's Chosen People - the people of the Ten Commandments - to the moral depravity that is a homosexual lifestyle.

Travel on over to Sound Politics to read the mostly insightful moonbat bashing that is directed at Governor Gregoire.
