Majority Leader Senator Bill Frist's blog reports that four more nominees have had the benefit of an up or down confirmation vote in the Senate.
Noel Lawrence Hillman and Peter G. Sheridan for the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and Thomas L. Ludington and Sean F. Cox for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan were confirmed to their appointments.
The Bush Administration and a Republican majority Senate just has a little over two years to reverse the action of Leftist Federal Judges and Justices. It is doubtfull the Democrats will retake the Senate in 2006. As popularity contests go, the chain of future events will decide the elections of 2008. Republicans must dig in and capture the hearts and minds of the electorate at least by 2008. We must keep the Conservatives coming to the Federal Judiciary to offset the Left Wing.
