Karl Rove Won't Be Charged in CIA Leak Case

There was nothing there on Rove! I wonder if "Special Prosecutor" (i.e. Persecutor) Fitzgerald will waste tax payer money on Scooter Libby. Fitzgerald's mandate is to discover who outed Plame. The problem is Wilson outed his own wife and put the blame on the Bush Administration. Libby is not being indicted for outing Plame; he is being indicted about lying (i.e. perjury). This is way beyond the scope of the mandate this Special Prosecutor had and is a waste of tax payer money. As this unravels Fitzgerald will not have a case against Libby either. He should just drop the case to limit the humble pie he is going to eat. If Fitzgerald is determined to go to trial, he will lose. Then the Republicans will have a field day. I suspect Fitzgerald secret leftist cabal has instructed him to stretch this out past 2008. Let us pray the Judge is privy to that duplicity.

There are multiple stories on SlantRight.com that all point to the obvious: Mission Implausible, Hidden In Plain Sight, Withdraw the Libby Indictment, A Culture of Strife, Duplicity In Indictments and Is the Valerie Plame-CIA Leak Case Crumbling?.
