Palestine Statehood: Internecine Quarreling

If Abbas backs off from this July 26 referendum as he did recently his credibility will become nil. Prime Minister Ismail Haniya of Hamas will effectively become THE player in the PA.

It also works another way: If Abbas successfully accomplishes a referendum and Palestinian-Arabs call for any kind of recognition of an Israeli sovereign State, then Hamas will have been repudiated by the electorate that placed them there. Which means another Parliamentarian election would have to take place for the electorate to validate another government.

I wonder how it would work out for the Palestinian-Arabs to both confirm a nation Israel and re-select the terrorist party Hamas simultaneously. That would bring all kinds of self-destructive nation-busting to the Palestinian-Arab would it not?

The poker game continues between Islamofascists Fatah and Hamas.
