Who Knew Congressman Foley Was a Closeted Democrat?

I was a little leery about reading this essay about Foley, Democrats and homosexuals by Ann Coulter. Coulter is quite the heroine in the political realm for me; however Mark Foley is morally guilty of deception and homosexuality. Foley was wrong for what he has done and closeted himself to his fellow Republicans.

As I read Coulter's essay I was relieved to read she was not condoning Foley or making Conservative excuses for him. Rather Coulter makes the excellent point that a Democratic Representative was caught doing more than lurid emails. Indeed, Representative Gerry Studds (D) was censured for taking a homosexual romp to Portugal with a Congressional Page. Studds defiantly turned his back on the House while the legislators were voting for censure. Not is that reprehensible act of immorality bad enough, Studds remained in the House of Representatives by his Liberal base re-electing the predator to three more terms of office.

Does anyone see the Democratic Party hypocrisy? AGAIN!
