I grew up in the Evergreen State. According to the opinion of participants in a Gallup Poll the city of Seattle is the safest place to live in America.
I actually grew up in Central Washington in a small town 100 miles from Seattle. I love it that visitors felt secure in Seattle; however for us Eastern & Central Washingtonians, Seattle was a nice place to visit (sometimes often) but not to live.
