I have read views about Mohammedanism that criticize the death cult as intrinsically a political ideology with religious trappings. I myself had leaned that way to attempt to frame in my mind a difference between moderate Mohammedanism and radical Mohammedanism (Islamofascism or Islamism).
David Yerushalmi has written an essay discrediting the pure political view of Mohammedanism. Yerushalmi implies that Mohammedanism is natured toward brutality from its founder Mohammed.
The tenets of Mohammedanism sways toward violence and domination as Christian tenets sway toward the emphasis of God’s Love and personal Salvation.
