The Reality of Religion: Putting Things in Context

Michael Ledeen is one of my favorite neocon writers. Ledeen draws an excellent point that I have been trying to slant toward for some time. The battle with terrorism is intrinsic to concepts of faith. In this case of fact it is radical Mohammedan faith. The religions of the world may at times have their adherents violently disagree with each other; however the tenets of faith of most of the religions of the world abhor violence as a means to an end. Only Mohammedanism has set the stage with its tenets of faith to utilize violence to secure an end. That was the message of the Pope: radical religion is not peaceful religion.
