UNBELIEVABLE! Lt. James Gordon Klingenschmitt was convicted for praying in the Name of Jesus.
Tell me how much sense this makes. Klingenschmitt is forbidden to pray in "Jesus' Name" in a Navy Uniform, while the federal government builds a mosque for Mohammedans to pray at Quantico. Do you think those Mohammedan Quantico prayers do not include the Mohammedan statement of faith: "Allah is Great and Mohammed is his prophet."
Friends Christian's in the military pray "in the Name of Jesus."
This absolutely breaks the true nature of the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
By accepting Mohammedan prayer and prohibiting Christian prayer is the federal establishment of religion. This is wrong! This is Unconstitutional! This is anti-Christian!

NO, Klingneschmitt was not convicted for praying. He was convicted for illegally protesting the Navy in his Navy uniform. The fact that he prayed while committing his crime has no bearing on the fact that he was committing a crime.
Actually sandog, Klingneschmitt was ordered not to use the name of Jesus while in uniform. Essentially terminating not only Freedom of Religion in the military but indeed for praying while in uniform.
His crime was disobeying orders not to pray in the name of Jesus while wearing a uniform. Do you think a Mohammedan Chaplain in uniform would be committing a crime chanting in Arabic or English that "Allah is Great and Mohammed is his prophet?"
Yeah I don't think so either.
