Feinstein quits committee under war-profiteer cloud

Senator Dianne Feinstein has resigned from Senate Military Construction Appropriations Subcommittee amid scandal that her votes benefited her husband’s business dealings to the tune of B as in billions of dollars.

WorldNetDaily offers all kinds of reasons for the Democratic Senator’s resignation; however I guess the most plausible reason is resigning might hold off investigation into a powerful Democrat’s conduct. Now that the Democrats control Congress it is doubtful any legitimate scrutiny will occur to ferret out corruption.
