POEM: WE ARE THANKFUL

The Quickened Word
Thank You our Father for all that You do.
Thank You dear Abba for loving us too.
How awesome to know Your angels are here.
How precious to have loved ones far and near.
This day we give thanks for every good thing.
Your gifts in plenty are under Your wings.
Your love is our refuge, Your love is our strength.
From depth, from height, from width and from length.
No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
Thanks be to Your Word, our triumph’s assured.
Angels keeping charge wherever we go
They’re bearing us up if we feel low.
Thanks that all things work together for good,
Building our lives, grace abounding as should.
We’re more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.
Having given His life through sacrifice.
In all we give thanks for this is Your will.
We rejoice and pray, remaining here still.
Steadfast we follow Your Word and Your ways
As You lead us into a brand new day.
Our cups are half full as we wait upon You
To rebuild and repair, restore brand new.
We’re forgiven, predestined, and glorified
Adopted, made righteous, and not denied.
How awesome You are, how grateful are we
That we have a future and destiny.
Our hearts are crying, dear Abba our Dad.
In Your Presence, You make us glad.
You’re rich in mercy, abounding in love
Loving-kindness and justice come from above.
Thank You dear Lord, never changing are You.
We give thanks to You in all that we do.
Ps 79:13 NKJV
So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture, will give You thanks forever; We will show forth Your praise to all generations.
