Ahmadinejad/Bush Face-Off

Signs of a showdown are emerging between America and Iran. Ahmadinejad's letter to President Bush was more of an ultimatum than a display of diplomacy. Its significance lay more in the Mohammedan doctrine of deception (al Taqiyya) than in building bridges of peace.

Iran has embarked on a path in which it says one thing while the implications of the nation's actions demonstrate the opposite. The goal of weapons grade uranium is more than confirmed by the military market place Iran has dabbled into. Military purchases from Russia, China and N. Korea have amply demonstrated the true colors of Iran's intentions.

It is suggested Iran's quest for nuclear WMD might be about regime preservation. If Iran has the WMD it can extort the West much the same as N. Korea has accomplished. This may be the case, however religious Islamofascism is still the principle reason the Mullah dominated government wishes WMD. Iran wants to be a huge player in the Middle East to spread its messianic Shi'ite Mohammedanism globally.
