Here is my obligatory 2006 election post. I am going to use the Michael Barone insight as to why Slanted Right Republicans lost 2006 and his prognostication for 2008 Presidential politics.
I am with Barone in that the election results were more a referendum on the rejection of Republican “malfeasance” and the Bush Administration failure to execute a clear strategy of victory in Iraq.
Everybody knew the House would go Democratic Party. It is a huge disappointment that the Senate will probably be Democratic Party as well. Now the Republicans that were duped into not using the nuclear option to confirm Conservative Judges and Justices will rue the day.
If it was difficult (to disgusting) to get around confirmation of Bush appointees to the Judiciary the last six years, it will be near impossible now. The Republicans who failed to vote for their Republican Senator just confirmed the continuation of the Slanted Left activist Judiciary to transform America into a moral relativist secular humanistic society.
