Israel war jets have been buzzing low over Lebanonese territory collecting information on the progress Hezbollah has made in re-arming and re-building its Iranian financed military infrastructure. The information is conclusive that Hezbollah is at near capacity to strike Israel again.
There are a few things to think about relating to the impunity of Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.
UNIFIL, the so-called U.N. coalition military coalition set in place by a ceasefire, has done absolutely nothing to stop or prevent the flow of arms and resources to Hezbollah. In fact the U.N. under Annan’s leadership has made a fruit ripe for the fruition of Hezbollah to usurp control of the Lebanese government. The Lebanonese Prime Minister Siniora has all the administrative ability of a Vichy France-like government of WWII. Siniora takes his marching orders from Iran or Syria. Thus Siniora has done nothing to prevent the re-arming of Hezbollah.
The Israeli government of Prime Minister Olmert is fully aware of what is happening in Lebanon relating to Hezbollah. Olmert is incapable of any decisiveness to act on the facts. Olmert is abandoning the military strategy that has protected Israel’s existence, viz. pre-emptive strikes to prevent imminent attacks. Olmert should at least bomb Hezbollah sites before Ahmadinejad gives Hezbollah the order to attack again.
