The New Cold War: The Long War.

Where's the support for the home team? There is a great post on Long War strategy at SlantRight.com by Stephen Green. It is similar to the days of the Cold War defeat of the Communists. The point hammered here is that those who have built America up at home in past wars are a huge let down in this war. It is as if someone has developed a biological magnetic mind sweep and deleted the memory of The Twin Towers. I remember watching live TV as jet airliners flew into those buildings. I remember watching Americans that chose between burning to death and jumping - choosing to jump. Do liberals think Afghanistan and a hiding coward (Osama bin Laden) is a singular event. NO! Islamofascism is a way life dedicated to the genocide of Jews and the spreading of Mohammed's die or convert message. That does not bode well for Truth, Justice and the American Way.

The concept of “Political Correctness” has so consumed the intelligentsia in America that too many are worrying about hurt feelings rather the American way of life. It is time to protect what is American and stop the attempt to transform America into what it is not.

With that in mind, it may be time to view the probable Long War with Islamofascism as the new Cold War. Possibly to future generations it will be labeled The Cold War II. Let us define our enemy and forsake Political Correctness. Proceed to find ways to defeat the enemy even as President Reagan chose to buck old strategies and brought down the Soviet Empire.
