Supporting the Online Freedom of Speech Act

Free speech has to have been invented by Americans. We love that privilege as an inalienable right of nature and nature's God. Senate Majority Leader Dr. Bill Frist has endorsed legislation to keep the blogosphere a place of free speech. America is a place where intellectuals, morons, multiple relgions and atheists all say what what they believe without having their heads chopped off. Thank you Senator Frist:

Political free speech is the core of our First Amendment. And, in an era where technology has made instant communication and vibrant community possible on the internet, the Congress has a responsibility not to regulate this new forum for political expression.

As an amateur blogger myself, I support the Online Freedom of Speech Act, which will ensure that the extraordinary explosion of political debate in the blogosphere is never muzzled by bureaucrats in Washington, D.C.

This legislation is endorsed by bloggers from all ideological persuasions and should command wide bipartisan support. I am anxious for the House to take up and pass this legislation as quickly as possible. When it does so, I will work for its passage in the U.S. Senate.
