I became aware of this excellent article on Major Stephen Coughlin published at Newsmax.com from the e-list I am on at the American Congress for Truth.
To those of you who may be in the dark, Coughlin was fired officially of lack of money to renew his contract as an Islamic expert at the Pentagon. However, details are beginning to emerge that Coughlin was fired because he is hard-nosed on Islamist terrorism and his views offended a Muslim aide of Deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England. That aide’s name is Heshem Islam, a Muslim born in Egypt.
The offense of Coughlin: Coughlin authored a document on the Muslim Brotherhood that was filed as evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial that ended up in a Hung Jury (under dubious circumstances). What do Heshem Islam and the Muslim Brotherhood have in common? Both originate from Egypt!
Do the math!

- In the American Congress for Truth blog we have been following the unfolding events relating to the sacking of Major Stephen Coughlin, recognized as the leading expert on Islamic law and extremism inside the Pentagon. Our efforts and the efforts of other organizations to expose what led to Coughlin’s firing have begun to stir things up in Washington. Below is an article written by Ken Timmerman, author, 2006 Nobel Peace prize nominee, and a member of the Advisory Board for American Congress for Truth. Note that Timmerman makes reference to Jerry Gordon, American Congress for Truth board member and the editor of the ACT blog and the ACT! for America news site.
