Anti-Troop Resolution DEFEATED!
There is not a lot of media play about Conservative pro-win-the-war political victories on the local level. Evidently County Supervisor Roger Dickinson (CA) attempted to place a foreign policy issue on the County agenda that was negative toward the troops fighting the War on Terror.
Unbelievable! This Moonbat is involved in local County government and not even State level government and he attempted to insert a Foreign Policy issue on the County agenda which is the prevue of the Executive Branch of the Federal government. Now that is Moonbat hubris.
MoveAmericaForward.org got word of the Dickinson Moonbat agenda and showed up in force to the public County meeting. Their voice convinced a 3 to 2 vote to shelve Dickinson’s County government intrusion on the Federal government’s position of authority.

Anti-Troop Resolution DEFEATED!

Great news to report!!! Just read along to hear about a victory for pro-troop supporters that took place this week.
It all happened this Tuesday, when a California county Supervisor, Roger Dickinson, placed on the agenda an anti-troop measure that would have undermined support for our troops serving in Iraq.
It was quite offensive to us to see a local government body considering a measure that would only serve to harm our troops, when measures dealing with foreign affairs and military strategy shouldn't be the purview of local governments to begin with.
Move America Forward sent a delegation to speak at the Board of Supervisors meeting. We recounted our stories of what we saw first-hand in Iraq, and the progress our troops were achieving - progress that the troops themselves were very proud of.
Well, the Board of Supervisors voted to table Supervisor Dickinson's measure and pro-troop supporters were handed a great victory!!!
