The Bald Preacher

I found out today that a friend continued his journey toward Heaven yesterday. Daryl Figler, a good friend of my son and due to this a dear acquantence of mine is gazing directly into the eyes of Jesus Christ.

It is moments like these that test the faith of a Christian. Daryl had more faith in the awesome power of God in his little finger than I have in my entire being. As of today, I am not sure of the actual cause as to why his body stopped working; an auto accident was apparently involved. I do know this however, God is still on the throne and the Lord of Creation.

Why did this happen at this time to a fine man and Believer in Christ? I am ignorant of that answer. In saying that here are some words from the man of God who called himself the Baldpreacher.
-------------------------------
Attitude

What is attitude for? Godly attitude is not pride or arrogance, but it's knowing who you are in Christ and allowing Him to flow out your life to pierce the darkness. Jesus confronted religion and self-righteousness head on without sinning and leaving deposits of truth in peoples hearts.

It is our job to know who we have been created to be and knowing that we have a message of hope and healing for a world that is lost. How will people hear without a preacher! Without an attitude in your mind and heart that you are light meant for darkness with a message of peace and love from the almighty God, people will continue to walk off the plank into eternity separated from a God who loves them.

We are all called as born again believers, and we are all chosen! The only thing that we can take to heaven with us are the people that we share the good news of the gospel with and they receive the Spirit of God in their lives for themselves.
