If Dreams Could Come True …

The Arms deal concluded between the Bush Administration and the Saudi Monarchy is a disaster waiting to happen in the future. I lament that I have not followed the nuts and bolts of the issue and so I do not know if Congress has to okay the deal. If Congress has to okay the deal let us hope this Democratic controlled Congress has enough brains to indeed prevent the deal from following through.

Walid Phares has an idealistic alternative to the Saudi Arms deal. It is extremely idealistic because it boils to down to one essence: The Saudi Monarchy switching up on the Wahhabi teaching that disseminates from the area and setting new agendas to execute Middle Eastern stability by confronting the Shi’ite radicals of Iran with a new ideology that will hopefully destabilize the Mullah controlled government. The Phares idealism is directed to anti-Khomeini revolutionary Shi’ites, Kurds and Arabs living in Iran. Phares admits (at least to himself) that there is no real idea of whom or where to find this element in Iranian society.

Frankly Mohammedan hate is too entrenched for Phares’ vision to be realized at this moment in time. Something catastrophic would have to happen to the Saudi Monarchy to change its paradigm or face an alternative of the Monarchy imminent demise.

I suspect such a catastrophe would be too late to successfully implement the Phares idealism.

However I do think the Phares idealism can be applied to Mohammedans living in the West. It would take courage to evade the Politically Correct and ban Wahhabi and Khomeinist-Shi’ite literature as teaching tools in the West. I am not saying to have a good ol’ fashion Nazi-Communist-Big Brother book burning, rather if it is taught in schools as hate it is time to prohibit the teaching. I am uncertain of have how to prevent teaching hate in American madrassas and Mosques without infringing on Free Speech, but maybe the government bureaucracies can get some ideas from the ACLU who have effectively stopped the teaching of Christian perspectives in public schools.

Memorial Day - Grave Indifference - Cox & Forkum

Does anyone beside me and Cox and Forkum see the futility of negotiating with rogue Iran?

Cox and Forkum Editorial Cartoons

It's bad enough that the Bush Administration actually thinks talking with Iran is going to stop them from killing even more of our troops in Iraq. Worse still, these talks officially end our diplomatic isolation of Iran since 1979 when the Iranians took Americans hostage. But it is flat out obscene that the talks were held on Memorial Day. There are Americans at gravesides today mourning loved ones who were cut down by Iranian-backed militias.

Bush further demonstrates that he is more concerned about politics and diplomacy than he is about stopping the enemy using as few American lives as possible.

From FOX News:
U.S. Ambassador: Talks With Iran Were 'Successful' and 'Businesslike'.

The United States ambassador in Baghdad said he and his Iranian counterpart agreed broadly on policy toward Iraq during four-hour groundbreaking talks on Monday, but insisted that Iran end its support for militants.

During a meeting that U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker described as businesslike, the American said Iran proposed setting up a "trilateral security mechanism" that would include the U.S., Iraq and Iran. Crocker said the proposal would need study in Washington.

"We will consider that when we receive it," Crocker told reporters in the U.S.-controlled Green Zone. "The purpose this meeting was not to arrange other meetings," he said.

The U.S. envoy also said he told the Iranians their country needed to stop arming, funding and training the militants.

"This is about actions not just principles, and I laid out to the Iranians direct, specific concerns about their behavior in Iraq and their support for militias that are fighting Iraqi and coalition forces," Crocker told a Green Zone news conference. ...

Monday's talks, as predicted, had a pinpoint focus: What Washington and Tehran -- separately or together -- could do to contain the sectarian conflagration in Iraq.

"The American side has accusations against Iran and the Iranian side has some remarks on the presence of the American forces on Iraqi lands, which they see as a threat to their government," al-Dabagh said.

But much more encumbers the narrow agenda -- primarily Iran's nuclear program and more than a quarter-century of diplomatic estrangement after the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran.

Further, the Iranian Shiite theocracy fears the Bush administration harbors plans for regime change in Tehran and could act on those desires as it did against Saddam Hussein in Iraq.

Washington and its Sunni Arab allies, on their side, are deeply unnerved by growing Iranian influence in the Middle East and the spread of increasingly radical Islam.

Compounding all that is Iran's open hostility to Israel.

Report: 3 Gulf states agree to IAF overflights en route to Iran

Three Arab states in the Persian Gulf would be willing to allow the Israel Air force to enter their airspace in order to reach Iran in case of an attack on its nuclear facilities, the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyasa reported on Sunday.

According to the report, a diplomat from one of the gulf states visiting Washington on Saturday said the three states, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, have told the United States that they would not object to Israel using their airspace, despite their fear of an Iranian response. Al-Siyasa further reported that NATO leaders are urging Turkey to open its airspace for an Attack on Iran as well and to also open its airports and borders in case of a ground attack.

According to a British diplomat who spoke to an Al-Siyasa correspondent, Turkey will not repeat the mistake it made in 2003, when it refused to open its airspace to U.S. Air Force overflights en route to attacking Iraq.
British newspaper The Daily Telegraph reported Saturday that Israel is negotiating with the U.S. over permission for an "
air corridor" over Iraq, should an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities become necessary.

Deputy Defense Minister Ephraim Sneh on Saturday denied the reports and said Israel has no such plans.

Pamela Geller

With the strike against Iranian nuclear facilities near, I want my readers to know that I will be providing unique, uncensored, real-time coverage of the conflict. I will be talking to the beseiged people of Israel and providing video links to and from Israel with commentary by real counter terrorism experts in the Jewish State. My reportage and that of MNM will be free from jihad loving or left leaning western editorial slants. The real story......only I will leave the comments of thumbsucking "analysts," fat draft-dodgers, agenda driven pundits, and feckless politicians to CNN and FOX-News.

PLEASE prayers for our brave Israeli brothers and sisters who have stood alone against the scourge of Islamic terrorism for 58 years. Long live the People of Israel. (Inspired by Michael)

Evidently Pamela has a lesser opinion of FOX News. I still like them.

Anyway, whether the Jewish news of Haaretz is true or false and the blogosphere is true or false; the mere talk of such an event should the Western World glued to some source of information. If Iran is attacked and Iran actually retaliates, it could be the beginning of the biggest global war since WWII. There are a lot of variables, let us see how they play out.

The Wrath of Terrorists is Among Us

Biography from The Intelligence Summit:

Paul "Dave" Gaubatz, former Federal Agent with the equivalent rank of major, is a U.S. State Department-trained Arabic linguist and counterterrorism specialist. He has acquired over two decades of experience while working on assignments in Middle-Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Iraq. Currently Chief Field Investigator with the Dallas County Medical Examiner, Dallas, Texas, Mr. Gaubatz created Gaubatz Arabic & Counterterrorism Lecture Services in December, 2004.

The first U.S. civilian Federal Agent deployed to Nasiriyah, Iraq, in 2003, Mr. Gaubatz was able to travel to various cities throughout Iraq, using his Arabic-language training extensively. During this time, he led a mission to rescue the family of Mohammed Odeh Al-Rehaief, the Iraqi lawyer who saved the life of Private Jessica Lynch. Today, Mr. Al-Rehaief and his family live safely in the Washington, D.C. area.

Upon returning from Iraq in July 2003, Mr. Gaubatz wrote a practical, basic Arabic street survival guide, and began lecturing in schools and businesses, and also to law enforcement officers. He instructed ... …

Dave Gaubatz knows what he is talking about. I am certain the Slanted Left has had the benefit of Gaubatz’s professional expertise. I am also certain that the national politics of America and the potentiality of geopolitics (confronting Syria and Iran militarily) has spurned public acknowledgement of Gaubatz’s Intelligence findings.

It is my opinion that the Left Elite and the Right Elite have dropped the ball on the War on Terrorism. There is way too much emphasis in not offending Mohammedans and not enough emphasis in seeking out Islamofascist terrorists that do not follow International Conventions or the Laws of the Land in the various nations the terrorists anonymously roam.

Islamofascism needs to be stamped out at least on a local level. YES, this means the utilization of profiling. If it makes Lefties more comfortable, the profiling should not be so much racial profiling as Islamofascist profiling.

Islamofascism and radical Islamism reach beyond race. This odious ideology clothed in religion is not just Middle Eastern. This radicalism has infected Western nations on a local level through the Petro-Dollars of Sunni Wahhabists and Iranian Shi’ites.

Those two ideologies preach and teach hatred of Israel and America in particular. Those two ideologies have exported that hatred by building Mosques in the West and providing the ideology of hate to be taught in the Western Mosques.

To comprehend the danger which I speak, read Dave Gaubatz’s Essay on
SLEEPER CELLS IN AMERICA AND CANADA.
