Vatican, Saudis discuss a church

Saudi Arabia is known for its intolerance to allow any religion other than Mohammedanism to be practiced even in private.

According to sources in the Vatican, the papacy has been negotiating with King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia to open a Roman Catholic Church in intolerant Saudi Arabia.

The article I read implied the negotiation was based on the principle of reciprocity. The reciprocal effect being the largest Mosque in Europe is in Rome built by Saudi money (like duh, of course it was Saudi money).

Personally I believe it is the Mohammedan practice of
al-Taqiyya at work. I cannot believe the militant revisionist Mohammedan school of thought – Wahhabi Mohammedan Puritanism – would allow King Abdullah to build a Christian Church (Catholic or otherwise) on so-called holy Mohammedan soil.

Here is the story:

Muslim Becomes Apostate and is Baptized by Pope

Magdi Allam was a prominent Egyptian Muslim writer living in Italy. He has made his dutiful Mohammedan journey to Mecca as is required once in a lifetime (I think) for all Mohammedans.

Here is the thing, Allam has been extremely critical of Islamism and the inherent nature of violence in Islam itself. Allam is even pro-Israel due to the brutality of homicidal suicide bombing Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.

O yes, did I mention this prominent writer living in Italy
converted to Christianity this Easter season and was baptized by Pope Benedict XVI himself.

WOW! Apparently more and more Mohammedans are leaving the so-called
religion of peace every year.

Here is a little side bar that really has nothing to do with Magdi Allam’s illumination of the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I was listening to Fox News briefly last night (it may have been the day before; I am fuzzy on the exact time frame). While I was half listening all of sudden a statistic brought me to alertness. Twenty-thousand Mohammedans have converted to Christianity in the last year. Seventy-thousand Mohammedans have converted since the Iraq invasion.

What is different since the Iraq invasion and before?

Well duh! There is a bit more Freedom of Choice in Iraq (In my search for statistics;
this is the closest I could find for verification. There are time constraints you know.).

Mohammedans are persecuting native born Iraqi Christians (for years actually). In this Eastern season about a week ago
Archbishop Paulos Faraj Rahho was murdered. Just after performing a Mass, he was kidnapped from his Church and shortly there after was found dead in a shallow grave. The Archbishop is representative of 600,000 Chaldean Catholic Christians that are native born Iraqis that have a history in the area since before the forced conversions of Mohammed. Bin Laden is Mistaken – Officially the Pope Promotes Dhimmitude

Bin Laden has accused the Pope of stirring up the Crusades of history’s past against Mohammedanism AND threatened reprisals in Europe for doing so.

Ah if it were only true.

A Vatican spokesman denies the accusation for the Pope. The Vatican to my dismay claims to be leading efforts for dialogue with Mohammedans. If only Pope Benedict XVI would realize that showing up in Mecca for dialogue would result in loosing his head.

It is amazing the effort of Christian leaders from both Protestants and Catholics are willing to live in dhimmitude in the false hope dhimmi oppression will end the violence against the West.

Look at the
history of dhimmitude of the past. It is not a pleasant scenario.

Homosexuals, A Threat To A Nation, Culture - Themselves

Michael Savage speaks the truth about immorality and homosexuality: it is undermining our society. Savage does this without a hint of profanity but with stern words.

And just to show that Savage is not a secular conservative, he quotes Pope Benedict XVI to back up his words with a Christian Roman Catholic perspective.

Pope Benedict’s Outrageous Announcement

Lee Grady’s summation of Pope Benedict’s recent announcement:

  • Only Catholics are true Christians.

  • Other Christian denominations are “not true churches.”

  • All non-Catholics lack the “means of salvation.”

  • (J.) Lee Grady has been the Big Dog Editor of Charisma Magazine since 1999. I am guessing that tags Grady as a Protestant-Charismatic-Evangelical. I guess I would tag myself as a Charismatic-Pentecostal-Word_of_Faith (past roots however modified today)-Christian_Mystic kind of guy these days.

Grady reacted to the Pope’s announcement
with clear hostility reminiscent of the Protestant VS Catholic hostility that gained equal ground after Martin Luther’s 95 Thesis in 1517. In fact Grady titled his online rebuttal as “Pope Benedict’s Outrageous Announcement.”

Assuredly the Pope’s announcement opens all the old wounds (not just with Protestants but with the Eastern Orthodox Church as well) about Papal infallibility, Heaven and Hell and Purgatory, the true Faith and so on and on. I am guessing
Pope Benedict XVI knew full well his proclamation would resound in denunciation from non-Catholic Christians. I got to say this for the old holy fella: Benedict is not exactly Politically Correct in his public pronouncements. The Pope enraged Muslims not too long ago by quoting 14th-century Byzantine Emperor Manuel II Paleologus:

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

Even before that speech in 2006, Mohammedan elitists had considered Pope Benedict XVI as an Islamophobe that stretches back to his Cardinal days. The Pope has opposed the entry of Turkey into the European Union based primarily that Mohammedan culture is different than European Culture that has its heritage in Christianity.

Thus the Pope’s recent announcement is a jaw dropper (as Grady wrote) to Protestants of a Western Heritage. Protestants were beginning to view Benedict XVI as a huge Christian Leader willing to eschew the popularity of being Politically Correct to telling it like it is about Mohammedanism. I began to view the Pope as the defender of the Faith because of his conservative stand.

Since the papal announcement probably has opened old wounds expect to hear and read an increase from Protestants that the Papacy is the Anti-Christ and the hills of Rome are correspondent to Scripture written Revelation or Daniel and so on. It could get ridiculous (and it could be true as much as any Biblical speculation).

As a person from a Protestant background (I mean I am absolutely clueless to the ritual thing of Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy and Protestant Episcopate Churches), I recommend reacting in a What Would Jesus Do (WWJD) manner. Catholic and Protestant attitudes ebb and flow according to the leadership that is most influential at the time. Even though Pope Benedict XVI is the top dog in the Roman Catholicism, Catholicism is not exactly a paradigm unified agreement. Tradition demands to at least offer lip service to the Pontiffs commands. There is NO top dog in Protestantism. Protestants are an amalgam of various statements of Faith that range along denominational and independent lines. Let’s see off the top of my head: Pentecostal Denominations (Assembly of God, Foursquare, Church of God, Open Bible Standard and more); there are the High Protestant Churches (Lutheran, Anglican/Episcopalian, Baptists, Methodist, Presbyterian and more) and there are the Independents – a combination of dissatisfied High Church attendees and Pentecostal/Charismatic attendees that chose to be independent (many of these have nearly become a domination via association; e.g. RHEMA Churches, Word of Faith Churches; Renewal Churches). Most Independent Protestants tend to be Pentecostal/Charismatic in operation.

I have to mention there are a few Independent Protestant Churches I have a hard time with because their statement of faith is often fringe/racist/anarchist types. Then there are those who consider themselves Christian Churches but deny one point or the other of the one thing that unites Roman Catholic, Protestant and Eastern Orthodox theology: the Trinity (ONE GOD yet three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and that Jesus Christ is both human in the incarnated flesh and God – both natures are present and are ONE). Some of the Independents that have a different view of the Godhead I waver from admiration to thinking they are heretics, thus I won’t get into naming Christians.

    So what is my point?

There will NEVER be Christian unity under the guidance of humanity, that day of Unity occurs at the Parousia (Second Coming) of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

So do not be hostile to Pope Benedict XVI merely because he says the Catholic way is the only way. The True Way is the Christ Way (
John 14: 6-11) which involves the God-Kind of Love for the fellow Believer, Neighbor and enemy alike. Who is our Neighbor and how should we treat them? The Good Samaritan is about the Neighbor (Luke 10: 25-37). Acts of kindness and forgiveness (Matt. 5: 38-48) should be projected on our enemies (God sets in authority those do His Will in protection and discipline [Romans 13: 1-7, Jeremiah 25: 8-11 and 1 Peter 2: 13-16)]. And make every effort to settle differences between those you fellowship with (Offender – Matt. 5: 23-26 and Offended – Matt. 18: 15-17).

Under the Light of Christ is Pope Benedict’s announcement to occupy the Christian mind as outrageous? I tend to think not. Move on to more Heavenly minded things to think on.

One last thought I should like to point out. Benedict’s announcement that the Catholic way is the only will certainly have an affect on Protestants and Eastern Orthodox Church in which the reaction should be to pray for the Pontiff. One thing you will not be seeing in nations of Christian Heritage is the Christians pouring into the streets demanding death to the Pope. You will not see Protestant and Eastern Orthodox Christians beheading Catholics due to an offensive announcement. You will not see Catholics pouring into the streets burning down Protestant and Eastern Orthodox Church buildings. The Christian world has moved on from that barbaric medieval thinking.

    I wonder which
religion of peace I can contrast this Christian reaction too?

Papal News Flash: Homosexuality Harms Mankind

I am not a Roman Catholic; however I thank God that Pope Benedict XVI has pronounced homosexuality as a practice that harms humanity.

Homosexuality is a morally reprehensible practice that the Slanted Left, Moral Relativists and Secular Humanists have pronounced as normal. It is not normal! Homosexuality is extremely unbiblical.

The Pope fortunately for those whose foundation is Judeo/Christianity, has also condemned moral relativism as well. Moral relativism is merely measuring morality by what a group humanity has decided is acceptable for the present. This is the creation dictating to the Creator.

The Creator has made the rules. What is a human creation that proclaims the Divine instruction unjust because it does not fit the lifestyle that is chosen? That human is a reprobate.

Now one might ask: What does the question of morality have to do with a politically oriented Blogger? The fact is the more often human society is diluted by moral relativity, the further that society wanders from an ordered and good society.

Look at America as an example. An American could leave a home or car unlocked through the early 1960’s and be fairly comfortable in not having a thought a theft or crime would occur. As the Left began programming Secular Humanism into society; the days of unlocked doors have ended, even in rural areas of America.

Elementary and Secondary Schools was a safe environment to allow your children to learn an education. Removing discipline, Judeo/Christian foundations and prayer has enable security checks for weapons and school massacres. School teachers (male and female) have seduced students with sex at an alarming rate.

Moral relativity has slipped into mainstream religion as well. The Catholics have had to deal with pedophilia on an unthinkable scale. Protestants have had to deal with their Pastors and Evangelists shaming the faith through adultery, homosexuality and pedophilia.

Will a safe society ever return to America? Only if Faith is allowed to be practiced in a public forum without fear of retribution from Slanted Left moral relativists.

Pope urges leaders to renounce violence

Good for Pope Benedict XVI: The Pope has made the statement that all religious leaders should renounce violence as part of their faith:

Pope Benedict XVI urged leaders of all religions Tuesday to "utterly refuse" to support any form of violence in the name of faith, while Turkey's top Muslim cleric complained to the pontiff of growing "Islamophobia" in the world. (Associated Press)

A Muslim cleric is quipping back to the Pope about growing Islamophobia in the world. That what my teenagers used to do when house rules were broken; i.e. try to find fault with something else as if that would exonerate their own misdeed.

Mohammedanism arose in violence: to Jews first, then toward Christians. So Pope Benedict XVI proclaims ALL religions must “utterly refuse” to support any form of violence. Dear friends that is impossible among Mohammedans.

The Pope is walking a nearly impossible fine line of trying to represent Christ and not insult Mohammedans. Good luck with that.

Pope Preaches 'Brotherhood' Between Christians and Muslims

I have mixed feelings about the Pope’s message to the Mohammedan Turks: “... a message of dialogue and "brotherhood" between Christians and Muslims ... On the one hand it is the appearance of sucking up to a religion that propagates based on violence. On the other hand the Christian faith is mandated to reach out with a message of peace and Good News to those lost in darkness.Frankly I admire Pope Benedict XVI for his bravery to show up among a people that would rather see him dead than touch Mohammedan soil. That is a true witness of Christ. However the Pope is delusional if he thinks that brotherhood can exist between Christians (tenets of peace) and Mohammedan (tenets of violence – convert or die).
