President Kaczynski about MDS Termination

John R. Houk
© September 25, 2009

Bret Baier’s Special Report on FOX News had an interview with Polish President Lech Kaczynski last night (9/24). The theme of the interview was President Barack Hussein Obama’s decision to scrap the East European Missile Defense Shield (MDS). The crux of the MDS was centered in Poland and the Czech Republic.

I had mentioned in an earlier post that appeaser President Obama’s decision was bending to the will of Russia’s National Interests rather than America’s. Also the Appeaser’s decision continues the Eastern Europe sell-out mode that has occurred since the end of WWII.

Poland’s President Kaczynski is careful to not politically insult Russia but is still expressing his displeasure of the future lack of protection from Russian wiles. Listen to the interview HERE.

Israel and the ‘realists’

It is becoming clear that the so-called Foreign Policy “Realists” are actually Foreign Policy Arabists.

American Foreign Policy Realists hence are becoming “throw Israel under the bus” pro-Arab enthusiasts. In essence the reasoning is Israel no longer serves the National Interests of America. Indeed Israel’s National Interests may very well do harm to American National Interests by making Middle East oil producers (which includes Iran) to be hostile to America. Or so the Realist reasoning goes.

Caroline Glick tackles this Realist versus long time friend issue to task.

The Threat to National Security is more than GWOT

If you look at President Barack Hussein Obama’s key goal in foreign policy strategy it appears to be an appeasement doctrine. A doctrine that is self-effacing that denigrates America’s influence pertaining to global affairs. Thus BHO has been travelling the globe apologizing for America as if the USA was an evil empire.

The Obama Administration is in denial (not a river close to Cairo) about the existence of a Global War on Terror (GWOT). To give substance to the denial the Administration has labeled the GWOT as an overseas contingency.

BHO does not understand that Islam is at war with their vision of the great Satan, i.e. the United States of America. This lack of comprehension should shoot curiosity into American voters about what else pertaining to National Security that President BHO may foolishly ignore or hope that blanket American apologies will placate any other nation or terrorist NGO’s national interest (i.e. self-promoting goal counter to the welfare of America).

With that curiosity you should read Peter Brooks’ essay on the growing designs of rogue nations and rising powers are a threat to America’s National Security.

Georgia/Russia War is about USA/Russia Hegemonic Disparity

Mark Silverberg makes a case about Georgia that both blames America and condemns the Russian brutality of invasion.

Silverberg makes some very salient assertions however I am not sure that I agree with whole heartedly.

I believe Silverberg is correct that America dropped the ball on Georgia by not utilizing immediate physical aid to Georgia. I realize America may not be in a sustainable position to confront a massive confrontation with Russia however I am betting Russia is not yet prepared to defy the military potential of America outside of conventional forces.

Yes I am implying that if America had sent American conventional expeditionary forces of some kind which would have at least put a big dent in the Russian invasion, then Russia would have to make another decision. That decision would be to either escalate its invasion of Georgia to force an obviously smaller American presence to retreat or consider American retribution with its superior nuclear technology.

As in the Cuban Missile crisis I don’t think Russia is willing to engage America in a nuclear war which it would lose.
Russian payloads may be larger than America’s nukes but Russian missiles are not as accurate. Combine that thought with American does have very advanced technology in anti-ballistic missiles, and then you have a recipe that will slaughter a lot of Russians and perhaps bring down the Russian autocrats themselves.

If Russian nukes managed to
slip past America’s anti-ballistic system, then Russia could be expected to be nuked out of existence. The Russians are not crazy Muslims looking to enter a paradise of erotic virgins. I believe the Russians would have pulled back and begin the attrition of another cold war in which America and Russia would vie with the interests of Middle Eastern States.

That is my relatively harsh (and yes gambling) take on the failed American choices.
Be sure to read Silverberg’s very compelling analysis of the strategy America should have taken or instituted prior to a Russian invasion of Georgia.

India/America Nuclear Deal Still Appears on Track

India and America had signed a deal to share nuclear technology. I viewed this as a fantastic possibility for India and America to begin to connect as military partners.

With China beginning to pour the dividends of its exploding economy into a growing technologically better military, developing close contact with India is an imperative to American National Interests of the future.

Also India has been traditionally big on anti-Islamic terrorism. That places India as a natural for military cooperation in the present.

The “NOW” problem is that India also has been traditionally stand-offish with America. One reason has been India’s close cooperation with the former communist Soviet Union and America’s tendency to support India’s greatest mortal enemy in Pakistan.

The international problem is that India (as also Pakistan) independently developed a nuclear weapon program against the will of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG). Add to that India is not a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

To further complicate this nuclear sharing pact between America and India is that Iran is a non-approved nuclear nation which everyone knows (even with Iranian denial) is developing WMD for belligerent acts in the Middle Eastern region, America and Israel.

Iran is whining how can India receive international validation and Iran receives international condemnation.

Here is the reason idiotic Iran: India is the largest nation in the world with stable democratic institutions and infrastructure while Iran is the largest exporter of Islamofascist terrorist activity coupled with blatant continuous threatening against Israel and America.

With all these mitigations working against the final approval of an India/America nuclear sharing deal it
still seems to be remarkably moving forward.

To date the IAEA,
Indian Parliament and American Congress, appear to be tentatively on the approval track.

There are still obstacles all the way around. It is a gamble but I hope those obstacles are overcome.

Russia expands Georgia blitz, deploys ships

Is it Georgian genocide perpetrated on break-away South Ossetia or Russian aggression to annex South Ossetia and send a message to Georgia? OR perhaps Russia intends to take all of strategically located Georgia to thumb there noses at America. OR it is a combination of both: the Georgian military attempting to assert their national sovereignty while killing pro-Russian civilians and Russia using that as an excuse to annex all of Georgia.

Anyway
here is the latest I have read:

Obama Not an Appeaser?

Barack Obama is whining in his cheese because Senator McCain and President Bush have labeled Obama an appeaser.

Yeah … Obama’s concept of winning a war is having multilateral talks with rogue nations and Islamist terrorists to give them what they want while the U.S. of A. skips town.

Sounds like appeasement to me!

Then Obama gets his back all hunched up and says if they want to debate about protecting America he is ready for that one because Bush’s policies have divided America and the President and his supporters – like McCain – have a lot to answer for.

What a load of Dem dung: It is the Dems and the Leftist MSM that have divided America with distorted reports while not verbally attacking America’s enemies for attacking America on our homeland and abroad.

Islamofascist terrorism has attacked American assets through Republican and Democratic Presidencies. Do you think America should lie down after invading Afghanistan just because al Qaeda and its closest regional ally the Taliban colluded on the final straw that awakened a President to not look the other way about the existence of Islamist rogue nations and terrorists?

No the Democrats (and Obama is one of them) saw an opportunity to bring down a Presidency that was reversing Left Wing social engineering by using a rough stretch in the GWOT as a center piece. That is not only appeasement it is treacherous politics as far as I am concerned.

The Dems are further using the Leftist MSM in quoting McCain to allude that sooner or later America will have to deal with Hamas, while claiming that Obama would never negotiate with the terrorist organization Hamas.

Hmm … Let’s think about that before people go off and agree with the Dhimmicrats that McCain is wading in hypocrisy. I suspect McCain’s view of negotiation would be completely different than a Dhimmicrat version of negotiation.

I suspect the Dhimmicrats would fall in line with the current Bush Administration of giving everything but the proverbial kitchen sink to Hamas and Fatah (both are equally terrorists) believing that would secure peace in the Middle East between Mohammedan nations and Israel.

When comes to the time to “deal” with Hamas it should be more like this: You will recognize Israel’s existence and quit trying to bring a second Jewish Holocaust or American and Israeli troops will march through Gaza to destroy Hamas and its so-called civilian supporters.

Now that is what I call negotiation. AND that is why Hamas has publicly endorsed Obama for President in America.

I am looking forward to that debate with between Obama and McCain so I can watch Obama squirm when McCain uses reality to slap Democratic Party half-truths down Obama’s throat.

Islamism the Spark – Oil the Prize

In the 1930’s the Japanese Empire had the military acumen to be a Super Power in Asia and the Pacific Islands in the Japanese sphere of influence. There was one problem Japan faced with their powerful military and hegemonic agenda. Japan did not have the natural resources to maintain a military in the event a nation with natural resources challenged the expansion of the Japanese Asian grip.

Japan needed oil and metals to be a powerhouse. Japan was fully aware their expansionism would collide with the National Interests of America eventually. Preparation was needed for this confrontation. The only logical solution for a nation with the hubris of go-it-alone self-determination was to prepare tactical scenarios to weaken or strike fear in the American government to try to mold a revision of the American National Interests in the Pacific and Asian economies.

After weighing the tactics it was decided to try to take out the strength of America’s Pacific Fleet; thus the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Like it or not oil is even more important today as a source of energy today than in the 1930’s. Oil has empowered the Islamist dream of a global Muslim spread of their religion in the style of the glory days of using the sword and fear exampled by their prophet Mohammed. Without oil the Middle East would still be a third rate collection of clannish dominated nations with Islam confined. Industrially or Economic powerhouses would have zero interest in camel jockey land and Muslim Middle Easterners would probably have no interests outside of regional clannish/national interests of petty squabbling.

Indeed though there is an abundance of oil in the Middle East and it is controlled by nations that serve the harshest and conservative interpretations of their Quran, Hadith, Sunna, etc.

America and Western Europe have been natural allies since the end of WWII. Present day Russia and the former Soviet Union had their own political agenda of spreading repressive Communism (really Russian hegemony in the name of Communism). China was somewhat under the Russian orbit of Communism but fiercely independent and weaker than Russia and America industrially.

As interdependent Globalism began to evolve in the economies of the world, things began to change.

Eastern Europe became liberated from the grasp of a weakened Russia after the fall of repressive Communism as the governing principle. Russia by no means the Super Power of the USSR days, but still powerful enough to have hegemonic designs in their immediate region.

Global economics suddenly saw the flow of capital into India and (ironically anti-capitalist) Communist China.

Suddenly China had the money to build a military infrastructure that will eventually challenge or test the strength of the current hyper-power America.

Globalism has conjoined the world into a global economy in which the power of capitalism (for better or worse) connected humanity for the first time in a state that transforms National Interests to the Global Interests of individuals.

There are two huge down sides to this Global Interest. There are still powerful nation-states that have developed cultural values that do not match the Global Interests.

America has iconized its Constitution as the measuring stick of what Freedom, Liberty, Civil Rights, Domestic Tranquility and the Pursuit of Happiness is. There is political polarization on defining the direction of those freedoms; nonetheless on both sides of the polls the essence of the Constitution is sacrosanct.

Western Europe has taken a more egalitarian definition of Liberty and Freedom that has led more to the rights of multicultural or group Liberty rather than individual Liberty; thus the attempt to balance what constitutes a hate crime or an offense to a cultural group or group phenomena.

The relatively new acquisition of freedom in Western Europe is trying to discover the path of American Liberty, European Liberty and the former rule of Law left behind from Soviet control.

Whether Russia has been Czarist, Communist or toying with the concepts of Democracy; has always been the State defines the welfare of the people. I believe Russia will eventually lose most of the tenets of Democracy to go back to what it knows best on how to govern their people; i.e. a combination of benevolence and the stick to inspire Russian Patriotism and Pride from the State. This means Russia will again challenge Europeans and America with their own hegemonic goals (at least regionally).

There is the Third World. The Third World struggles to instill Democracy while battling the evils of political and/or criminal corruption or they are just plain dominated by a strong man with some kind of military support to remain in power until a revolution or assassination replaces one strong man for another.

And of course there are the oil Baron Nations of which most are Muslim and being Muslim and feeling empowered by oil wish to spread political Islam globally.

So here is the problem: there is actually a Global Interest that affects individuals economically but no power structure to enforce the Global Interest. Why? The reason is the globe is still ruled by Nations – some good and some bad (and flowing to downright evil). Their ideologies clash forming diverging National Interests according to the ideology. When the National Interests clash it boils down to one mitigating factor in this day and age – oil and how to attain it economically.

The day that oil threatens the ideology of the Nation or Nations that have military clout regardless of ideology or religion, the next global war will occur.

Look around. Nations are slowly gravitating toward alliances (that may become official some day) in which the National Interests are shared and oil is the target.

Islamism may be the spark as the
assassination of Franz Ferdinand was the spark for WWI; however it will be oil that is the prize sought.

I’ve written all this because America is focused (rightly so) on the Global War on Terror; however China is slowly becoming that nation (like Japan) that will be desperate for oil as a resource to the Asian and Pacific hegemon.

And again which nation is the greatest obstacle to acquiring oil and Asian hegemony? Yep, it is the United States of America.

A Chinese surprise attack will not be with planes launching from Chinese Air Craft Carriers on Pearl Harbor. It will start with surgical nukes from their submarine fleet that will first target global communications then military targets to cripple the best human fighting force the world has ever seen.

I don’t think I am exaggerating.

ANOTHER WAKE-UP AMERICA MOMENT

Here is a “WAKE-UP AMERICA MOMENT” that I have been harping on for quite some time. Saudi Wahhabi Sunni Islamism dominates the Mosques and Mohammedan schools in America. They are brain washing American-Muslim youth with Jihad literature and preaching to American-Muslim adults via the Mosque with Jihad literature.

Which nation is responsible for teaching a culture of intolerant hate and Mohammedan Supremacism? That would be Saudi Arabia, the nation that the
State Department is wooing and acquiescing everything toward because of the immediate threat of Islamist Shia Iran in the Middle East.

It is like the American pro-Arab functionaries in whatever bureaucratic stratosphere of American who chosen the perceived lesser of two evils believing radical Islamist Shi’itism is the greater of the two evils.

This choice affects two extremely important issues: one at home and the other globally. The first is the allowing
Wahhabi Islamism to be an influence in America as it is in Britain and Europe in which critics are calling that continent Eurarabia. The problems affecting Free Speech and the Western rule of law in Europe will become the problems of the United States of America. The second issue is promoting and arming Sunni nations in the Middle East (incredibly even Palestinian terrorists) to the weakening and potential destruction of Israel. Israel is a nation and land created in the 20th century as a result of long time Western Jewish prejudice that reached its height with Hitler’s Holocaust. Western guilt in 1945 momentarily reached out in sympathy to Jews promoting a land where Jews could live without a government persecuting them for their religion or heritage.

I say “momentarily” because yet again Europeans are slipping back into the habit of anti-Semitism under the Leftist romance of a delusion of sympathy for Arab culture and Islamist propaganda matriculated from Wahhabi Saudi Arabia (hence the term “Eurarabia”)

I can understand the realism of pitting Saudi Arabian influence against Iranian influence; however not to the detriment of our own American Culture, National Interests and National Security.

Dear God in Heaven work out a balance! I am aware that Saudi Arabia
could posture negative threats to America as it has done in Britain; however it is also true the Saudi Royals fear a radical Islamist revolution that could sweep the Saudi Royals from power if Iran becomes the Middle Eastern military hegemon. A smart course would be to meet extortion with extortion based on the Saudi fears and boot Wahhabi Islamism from the American soil. After all it was the Wahhabi influenced al Qaeda terrorist organization that pulled a Pearl Harbor on American soil on September 11, 2001 transforming freedom of movement in America by forcing intrusive observations on Commercial flight travelling. That diminished Liberty in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave is a direct result of Sunni Wahhabi ideology that spouts from Saudi Arabia and its cousin the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Both of these nations are allegedly American allies and are the recipients of huge American military technology and Arms.

Like I said: WAKE-UP AMERICA!

What about India in a Global Hostility?

Here is an enigmatic essay about India and China. The byline implies that the long standing foes and competitors in Asia are embarking on some kind of rapprochement. However as you read through the analysis it appears to be paragraph after paragraph of what ifs.

The conclusion that the commonality between India and China is commerce however distrust between the emerging Asian giants is far from being resolved. The enigma is will China continue to get involved with nations in India’s sphere of influence and sphere of turbulence or will India overlook that continuing Chinese excursions and seek to strengthen each other by cooperation in boosting each others economies.

How does the enigma affect American National Interests? Bush not too long ago reached out to India to forge bilateral cooperation in the nuclear realm probably to coax a partner with India’s hated enemies of Mohammedan nations. It is like Bush is trying to find a back-up if the Musharraf regime collapses to radical Islam. A radicalized Pakistan which is already the natural enemy of India would increase the hostility between the two nations.

But check it out: China is a friend of Islamist rogue nations. If Pakistan collapses my bet is China will prop up an Islamist revolutionary Pakistan government to cause more headaches for America.

There is a lot of backroom international politicking going here and India might be the key to offset China and an ally against Islamist rogue nations. So watch the moves of India, its choices could give a bonus to China or to America depending on what back door diplomacy is being ironed out.

One other point about India: India and America have not been in each other’s friendly orbit. Even though India is a democracy, it leaned heavily on military expertise from the former Communist Soviet Union. That relationship did not amuse America in Cold War days.

Yes I do believe India is the enigmatic key in global politics. The question is which nation India will decide to ultimately align with.

A Shot of Realism in the Bush Doctrine

Robert McMahon writing for the Council on Foreign Relations concludes in a recent article that the Bush Administration is modifying the Bush Doctrine. To act preemptively in international crisis is still stalwart; however the concept of exporting democratic principles is being modified. Not all cultures are amenable to receive Western style democracy when the culture is theocratic and anti-Western culturally.

This is the difficulty that has slowed American progress in Iraq (combined with utilizing political correctness as a viable option to schmooze the indigenous citizens). Thus the experience in Iraq and the current crisis existing in Pakistan – Islamists versus Mohammedan moderates (if there is such a thing) is effecting a modification of the Bush Doctrine.

That modification is a resurgence of
Political Realism to a certain degree within the Bush Doctrine. Thus preemptive action to secure America’s National Interests still remains; however applying Political Realism as a measured viability in transforming a repressive regime into the infrastructure of democratic principles must weigh in to America’s National Interests. If democratic principles are rejected on a grass roots level of a culture in a nation then Political Realism options to ensure American National Interests and Security must be utilized.

The old adage power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely is a truism under a one man rule even if its initial inception was benevolent. In a Western Democratic Representative government that possesses immense power, the power is managed collectively via voters choosing elected officials to manage the power. The corruption aspect is more difficult to corrupt power when the infrastructure has the checks and balances of democratic principles.

Nonetheless America is a mega-super power globally which means there are regional mere super power nations that do not wish to deal with American hegemony. The principle super powers that attempt to derail American National Interests for whatever reasoned regional conflict with another National Interest are Russia, China and remarkably the collective of the European Union.

Regardless of accusations of Third World nations and Leftist influences of the mere super powers, American National Interests does not include imperialism. Imperialism implies conquest to rule foreign nations. America has never had an interest in neo-colonial imperialism since the twentieth century and very little of that thinking prior to the twentieth century. The closest America came to imperialism was the concept of Manifest Destiny, which acquired land from the east coast toward the west coast at the expense of Native Americans and Mexico.

The National Interests are the end goals of the USA. US strength gives the appearance of a global hegemony of American Empire. Since the USA has no interest in ruling other lands that is an erroneous perception. The USA has a National Interest in maintaining mega-power to meet outside security threats and the National Interest of maintaining global prosperity that affects the economy of America and the pursuit of happiness for American citizens.

The Bush Doctrine meets the parameters of America’s current National Interests. The use of preemptive military action that rocks the global boat and the exporting of an infrastructure of democratic principles which promote global coexistence are the central points of the Bush Doctrine.

Communism has been derailed as a repressive government in which democratic principles have been inculcated into a nation’s culture. That is the legacy of the Reagan Administration.

There is a new ideology threatening global peace and affecting the National Interests of America. Well new in the sense of twenty-first century, actually the ideology has been around since the seventh century. That is the terrorist principles of Theo-political Islamism or Islamofascism. Islamofascism is the fringe interpretation and enforcement of the Scriptures and Traditions related to the founder of Mohammedanism (Islam) – Mohammed. Mohammed was a cruel Arab that utilized delusional visions or manmade ideology in the wrappings of religion to carve out an empire and maintain the empire by forcing the conquered to Mohammedanism or become a sub-human in submission to the Theo-political ideology or die. This effectively maintained a platform to control large amounts of land providing wealth to the ruling elites that followed Mohammed’s demise. In Mohammedan lands this system is maintained to this day which has indoctrinated the Mohammedan follower of hateful intolerance of non-Mohammedans and cruel barbaric punishment to Mohammedans that break the cultic code. This harshness is
particularly devastating toward women who do not even realize the cruelty until they become the victims breaking the medieval code (Sharia Law) wittingly or unwittingly.

Two things threaten global peace and thus include American National Interests:

    1. The largest deposits of OIL that are extracted to be refined are in the Mohammedan controlled Middle East. Currently oil is the black gold energy source that powers the majority of what people use that need energy. The primary examples are automobiles, jets and military vehicles. Without refined oil the global economy could sink into a depression reminiscent of the Great Depression of the 1930’s. Western European nations and China are highly dependent on this oil. The politics of oil has influenced democratic Europeans to support Islamist causes. China has developed a huge market in military arms for oil with Middle Eastern nations; particularly rogue Islamofascist nations as Iran and Syria who in turn supply Islamofascist transnational terrorists as al Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah and more.

    2. The second threat on American National Interests is the growing influence of Islamist-American organizations that receive and send funding to foreign Islamist terrorists or supporters of terrorism (such as Saudi Arabian Wahhabism and Egyptian based Muslim Brotherhood). Currently this is a larger threat in Western Europe where secular humanism has created a huge vacuum in spiritual matters and the large populations of Mohammedans are actually filling that vacuum rather than the traditional Christian Church (Catholic or Protestant).

In America there seems to be a union of religious Islamism and non-religious Secular Humanist with the mutual goal of obliterating the foundations and morality of Christianity. Islamist-Americans and foreign Islamists are
infiltrating American Government and bureaucracy to attain sensitive information and deliver it to Islamist terrorist enemies of America.

The Bush Doctrine and/or a modification of the Bush Doctrine must be maintained to combat a patient enemy lacking the technology for their ends yet willing to use the long term fear mongering of terrorism and the West’s democratic infrastructure against us as a means to an end.

Turkey Hunts Down PKK Kurds in Kurdish Iraq

Turkey is on the offensive against Communist Kurds which are hiding in the Kurd autonomous region of Iraq. Turkey has longed warned the Iraqi government and the American government that if the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) is not actively prevented from terrorist excursions into Turkey a military response would be imminent.

I am no lover of Turkey. Turkish history has been that as the last of the Mohammedan Empires (Ottoman Empire prior to the end of WWI) to viciously attack Christianity and Europe.

In the Middle Ages the old Ottomans would take the children of conquered Christians (mostly in the Balkans) and forcibly convert them into Mohammedans and train them to be a lethal medieval Special Forces to fight and conquer more Christian lands. These were the
Janissaries of old. As the 19th century was ending the Janissaries became a corrupt ineffective group for the Ottomans; however for hundreds of years prior to that these former Christian children forced to train as an elite military force were feared for their brutality.

Around 1830 the
Greeks began to throw off the brutality of the Ottoman Turks gaining Independence. By the end of WWI Greece nearly fulfilled their dream of reclaiming Greek land in Anatolia (Much of Turkey today) by driving to Ankara. Unfortunately Ataturk who had ended the Sultanate of the Ottoman Empire of after losing WWI stiffened to the Greek offensive. Turkish nationalism drove the Greek army out of Anatolia force Greeks who had live there for thousands of years to flee to the borders of present day Greece. Ataturk’s revenge meant the slaughter of Christian Greeks as they tried to flee, particularly in Greek Smyrna (now Turkish Izmir).

In recent history the
Ottomans and modern Turkey have executed Kurds who have rebelled due to Turkish oppression. Toward the end of WWI the Ottoman Turks forced Armenian Christians in a long march to separate them from Turkish society, this turned out to be genocide for nearly two million Christian Armenians.

As you can see I am no fan of Turkey. The only reason the Turkish nation is consider a Western and American ally is because of their strategic location betwixt Europe, Russia and the Mohammedan Middle East.

The tragedy of political reality makes Turkey a central cog to American National Interests as well as to Europe’s Interests. Although Turkey is officially a secular nation with a Mohammedan foundation and a modicum of democracy, Turkish National Interests and National Pride make them NOT nice people.

On the other hand the PKK Kurds are not nice people either. It is a Communist group of Kurds that use terrorism to inflict on Turkish civilians to achieve a goal of a sovereign State of Kurdistan. I am not a fan of Turkey but I loathe the ideology and tactical strategies of Terrorists. Terrorism is evil no matter who utilizes it homicidal practices to justify a wishful end.

The Kurdish people are currently the largest ethnic group in the world that does not have a nation. I have not ever looked into it but the Kurds are loathed by Middle Easterners: Turks, Arabs and Iranians. Each of these groups of fellow Mohammedans has had a hand in oppressing Mohammedan Kurds over the centuries.

As an American I tend to root for the underdog and that is exactly what the life of a Kurd has been. Again though, American National Interests should be cued to put down Communist Kurds and reinforcing a democratic society of Iraqi Kurds. In doing so, it may disperse a growing lack of trust between Turkey and America politically.

Some day Turkey will screw up. When that day happens I pray their geopolitical advantage is lost and perhaps Greece recapture their ancient lands.

US/India Partnership in Trouble

It would have been awesome to have India (the largest Western style democracy globally) in America’s camp. America even went out on a limb to strike a nuclear technology deal with India subject to approval of Congress and India’s Parliament.

There were critics on the Left in America of sharing nuclear technology with India in light of our denunciation of North Korea and Iran going nuclear. There were traditional slanted right critics (paleocons) who felt such a deal would alienate the much needed support of nuclear armed Mohammedan Pakistan on the War on Terror.

President Bush had managed to swing
Congressional approval of the nuclear deal with India. Unfortunately the irony of ironies is occurring in the Indian Parliament. The Left block (Marxist/Communist associated Parties) which make up part of the ruling Parliamentary coalition of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are working to strike down the deal. That is an irony because the Left in America tentatively seems to have signed on to the deal. The reason: traditional Marxist aversion to a Capitalist America as a global hegemon and the Marxist Indian’s fear of America manipulating India’s foreign policy.

Prime Minister Singh has been lobbying hard with the Indian Parliament however
it appears headed to defeat.

I suspect the Marxists in India’s Parliament wish to continue an
affinity with former Communist Russia (though apparently becoming hostile toward America) and Communist China.

This is an indication to me that has its own version of polarizing politics: The old politicians of India wish to stay connected to past associations with Russia and it’s off and on again relationship with China. A new guard of Indian politicians needs to assert themselves because on paper it would seem an America/India partnership would benefit both nations in National Security and the economics of prosperity as a counter weight to Chinese ambitions to be a global military and economic hegemon at India’s expense.

I believe the ruling Indian elites are missing the big picture for the future growth and security, especially since Islamofascism is attacking India nearly as much as America. The American Media fails to report the significance of radical Islamists committing acts of terrorism against the Hindi majority of India’s population.

Let us hope President Bush and Prime Minister Singh can pull out a twelfth hour turn around for both nations’ sake.

Caracastan and Islamofascism

Here is a piece I found at the Hudson Institute. Some of you may have already read it for the article is a week old; however it explores an issue that brings the War on Terror closer to home.

Everybody knows that Hugo Chavez has been globally schmoozing with Communist Castro of Cuba and Islamofascist Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran. But what you do not know is that Chavez is cavorting with global terrorists that are the enemies of America.

I know it is the 21st century and the Monroe Doctrine you may have learned about in school may be difficult to live up to; however it was difficult to live up to when it was formulated by President Monroe. Does anyone think early 19th century America was capable of keeping European Powers out of Latin America with out help?

The premise of the
Monroe Doctrine needs reapplication in the 21st century, particularly as Chavez’s Anti-America doctrine is to overtly challenge America on the North and South American continents.

Am I being xenophobic? No! I am being an American that wishes to perpetuate the philosophy behind the Declaration of Independence and the Constitutional Bill of Rights. Chavez, Ahmadinejad and Islamofascist (or Islamist or whatever) terrorists represent an authoritarianism that is diametrically opposed to the Freedom and Liberty which represent American culture.

Europe has begged for American deliverance twice and America accepted the challenge. That negated the portion of the Monroe Doctrine to not meddle in European affairs. America’s National Interests are now intertwined with European decisions. The very existence of NATO is an example of that.

Nonetheless America needs to reassert the Monroe Doctrine as it applies to foreign military interventionism that affects American National Interests. In the 21st this reexamination must extend beyond European interventionism and include the potential of global conflict. This is especially the case of Islamofascist designs and agendas whether it a rogue nation or Stateless terrorists.

Is There a Global Grand Design Beginning to Emerge?

British media reported earlier today that Russia sent two war planes toward British airspace. The Russians came so close that the British Royal Air Force (RAF) dispatched war planes for a possible encounter of the military kind.

British media believes Russian brinksmanship was to show the OLD BEAR was not to be messed with because they still have some bite in their teeth. I am referring to the ongoing investigation of the assassination of
Alexander Litvinenko and the British indictment of Russian Andrei Lugovoy. Lugovoy is accused of the assassination and want Russia to extradite him to stand trial. Putin and Russia has refused.

Russia lack of response to Britain is a reminder of the old Soviet days of the Cold War.

The makes one think: How much has Russia been involved in geopolitics to undermine Western and American stability? Russia was highly involved in disallowing the invasion of Iraq.
Russia is suspected of the Intelligence Act of the century: the clandestine removal of all smoking gun WMD from Iraq – a smoking gun by the way that might have led to a connection to Putin’s Russia (Putin was doing a possible service for France and Germany in covering any military tracks they may have been involved in).

A fellow Blogger from Yahoo 360 (
Delete France) has even gone so far as to suggest that Putin aided al-Qaeda to start a global conflict. If that assessment is off the wall to some, then why is Putin being so cagey about a missile defense shield in Eastern Europe? Something is certainly up! There is simply so much behind the scenes geopolitics and clandestine playing reminiscent of the Cold War, it is hard to tell what the big picture is.

Frankly I suspect Islamofascists may indeed might be the pawns of Russia and possibly China in a mysterious grand design.

O yes the Russian response to the war planes skirting British Air Space:

Reports that Russian bombers were flying towards British airspace are untrue. The long-range aircraft were on a scheduled mission over international waters," Col. Alexander Drobyshevsky quoted Col.-Gen. Alexander Zelin, Air Force commander, as saying.

Gen. Zelin dismissed as rubbish speculation to the effect that Russian bomber flights were linked to an ongoing diplomatic flap between the two countries. (

Iran: Have You Heard Fight Fire With Fire?

Let us do that thing that Appeasers and Leftist fear. Let us dwell on the Iran issue vis-a-vie American National Interests.

Iran trains, supports and arms Hamas, Hezbollah and fellow rogue nation Syria. Iran supplies Shi’ite radicals in Iraq. Iran has aided insurgency in Afghanistan. Iran worst of all is developing weapons nuclear technology that only an idiot would believe will not turn into nuclear weapons.

These are serious acts of global intrusion that destabilizes the Middle East and consequently America and the global economy. Why? Because the life blood of multiple national economies is not the value of currency and national debts owned by whatever other nation. In this stage of the Earth’s history EVERYTHING is centered surrounding oil/petroleum.

Thus one of the greatest sources of global angst (or should be) is that rogue nations or nations dominated by fanatical theological nations. That place is the Middle East for the most part. Iran is the center of destabilization yet Wahhabi Islamofascist Theo-political thinking dominates the Big Dog Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is currently in America’s camp only because the Saudi leadership realizes that is a counterweight to Twelver Shi’ite Iran. That means Saudi Arabia is not a solid ally. The Saudi leadership has to play a Machiavellian political game between assuaging American Interests and placating the radical Wahhabi Theo-political ideology of mainstream Saudi citizens.

Given the correct catalyst Saudi Arabia could be the next national government in favor of a Wahhabi National Saudi revolution.

Iran was a solid American ally under the brutal Shah who alienated his people by attempting to Westernize Iran. President Carter abandoned the Shah when American support could have been used thus establishing the Iranian Revolution and the deposing of the Shah. Iran’s government switched from a repressive Shah operated government to an Islamofascist intolerant Mullahcracy.

This Mullahcracy is bent on spreading Mohammedanism as they view their prophet had done in the 600’s. Global destabilization is the goal because the Twelver Shi’ites believes this will bring global chaos. The onset of global chaos will bring the Lost Twelfth Imam – the Mahdi. The Mahdi will force the world into Mohammedanism or so the Twelvers believe.

So again let us consider Iran.

Another invasion would stretch the American Military a bit too much. Not to mention the Leftists might experience an aneurism or throw themselves into seizures over the audacity of protecting American National Interests from psychotic conquering wannabee Islamofascists.

Here is an interesting option that does not include invasion: Exact a military blockade on gas imports into Iran. I have learned from a Max Boot article in “
contentions” that Iran does not have many refineries to accommodate their volumes of oil. Indeed the Iranian populace is currently rioting over gas shortages and gas prices in oil rich Iran. What an irony that is!

Messing with Islamofascist Iran’s economy its government may collapse upon itself ending the Mullahcracy government. America can fight destabilization with destabilization.

Asian Military Drift

Islamofascism in South and Southeast Asia seems to have nations with Democratic roots begin to embrace a military ruling base. Evidently the generals in the various democratic South and Southeast Asian nations sense democracy is not confronting or ending radical Islamism.

I guarantee you South and Southeast Asian militaristic emergence is something on the back of the mind of China. China has been modernizing and escalating its military to near super power status.

China is also in the selling of military hardware business. This could be an opportunity for China to undermine American National Interests in South and Southeast Asia by selling arms to both militaristic States and (secretly) to Islamist terrorists.

Asian Military Drift

February 3, 2007
Prepared by: Carin Zissis
Council on Foreign Relations

Four months after promising power would be “
returned to the people,” leaders of a military coup in Thailand remain in charge, with half the country under martial law. Talk of a coup is also in the air in Bangladesh, amid a political crisis (The Economist). In Sri Lanka, the revival of the country’s lengthy civil war has raised the prominence of military voices on its political scene.

Fledgling democracies in South and Southeast Asia appear to be swinging back toward militarism. The events leading up to the changes differ: While former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra faced widespread protests and allegations of corruption before the bloodless coup, Dhaka has become a
violent battleground for a feud between political parties whose leaders—both former prime ministers—despise one another. However, Thailand and Bangladesh share the problem of having to deal with rising extremism within their borders. As this new Backgrounder explains, in Thailand, the military junta faces attacks by insurgents in its southern Muslim provinces that have caused nearly two thousand deaths in the past three years. The new government blamed Thaksin’s confrontational approach to the separatist movement. But the junta has made little headway in stopping the violence and the insurgents “ have shown absolutely no interest in negotiations or in the possibilities accorded by the change in government,” writes Zachary Abuza, a Southeast terrorism expert at Simmons College in Boston, on Counterterrorism Blog.

In Bangladesh, Islamic militant extremists have gained a foothold in the vacuum left by political chaos, explains Sumit Ganguly in a
report for the United States Institute of Peace. On the rise is the number of Islamist political parties with links to Bangladeshi militant groups, including one linked to synchronized nationwide bombings in 2005. If the United States continues to ignore the crisis in Dhaka, “Bangladesh could become another Afghanistan—a base for regional terrorism—and damage America’s growing relationship with South Asia,” write Joshua Kurlantzick and Anirudh Suri of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in The New Republic.

Backtracking on democracy in Asia is not new: General Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan's current president, seized control of the government there in a 1999 coup. Thailand and Bangladesh, along with other countries in the region, have followed the example, increasingly relying on the militarism while facing attacks by rebel groups. Over the past few months Sri Lanka, ravaged by a three-decade civil war that ended with a peace treaty in 2002, has experienced a resurgence in violence as the government has squared off once again against the
Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam. This Backgrounder looks at the history and renewal of the conflict. A new commentary by the Indian think tank South Asian Analysis Group says the lines between the government’s military and political agendas have been blurred. The government is “pursuing a military agenda while avowing a peace process” and “military operations have become an important part of [President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s] political strategy advantage, unlike his predecessors.”

The Philippines has also pursued a militaristic approach to handling its extremists; U.S.-trained Filipino military chiefs have embarked on ground operations that led to the January death of a senior commander of
Muslim separatists Abu Sayyaf. But even as the military touts its success over terrorist groups, human rights organizations have raised concern over military involvement in nearly eight hundred extrajudicial killings of activists since 2001. Amnesty International takes a look at the political killings. A January report (Manila Times) released by a government-appointed commission confirmed the military’s involvement in the deaths.

STRATEGY: A GOOD ONE FOR AMERICA, NOT RADICAL ISLAMISTS

When 9/11 occurred, only the Neocons had a plan to address terrorism. The Clinton strategy was immersed in treating Islamofascist terrorists as international criminals rather than enemy combatants determined to alter America’s way of life.

Neocons influenced President Bush to take down Islamofascist regimes to introduce democracy as a way of politically combating the seed bed of terrorism. Ironically there has been more success with this in Afghanistan than in Iraq. I say ironic because Afghanistan’s people are steeped in the violent ideology of Wahhabi and Taliban interpretations of Mohammedanism. That populist is the epitome of a fundamentalist Mohammedan.

Iraq though Mohammedan; faced a quarter century of Baathist-Socialist Mohammedanism. Old Saddam Hussein attempted to enforce a degree of secularism into the Mohammedanism of Iraq. The Shi’ites hated him for it. It is in Iraq that America currently faces the greatest challenges concerning the introduction of democracy. Radical Mohammedans have flocked to Iraq to fight American soldiers as if it was a Jihad against an invading Crusader army.

This is unfortunate because America’s desire was to build a democratic rule of law under the aegis of a stable government. Iraq is so divided by Radical Mohammedanism from foreign Sunnis and Iran influenced Shi’ites, I am of the opinion that Western Democracy will not take hold as the rule of law in Iraq.

Thus there is the appearance that the Neocon strategy of transformation in the Middle East is a failed strategy. Since it was the Neocon baby, it is the Neocons that are the stigma and scapegoats of a failed nation building strategy.

Something to consider: who had a better or even an alternative plan? Answer: NO ONE!

Neocon strategists have developed another plan. I have not heard a person who identifies himself as a Neocon say the nation building democracy plan is currently a failure. There is a certain amount of political hubris as there is with all political ideologies. Do not think for a minute that Left Wing thinking is devoid of hubris. After all Left Wing utopianism is alive and strong even after the collapse of the Communist Soviet Union as a failed structure for governing people. That also is hubris.

In America the Left Wing plan for the War on Terrorism in Iraq is to cut-n-run enabling the appearance of victory to Islamofascism and radical Mohammedanism. That strategy will only allow the continued growth and eventual domination of the radical reactionary interpretations of Mohammed, the Quran, the Hadiths, the Sunna and Sharia Law and so on. The concept of a moderate Mohammedanism is shrinking daily in the Mohammedan dominated nations and Mohammedan minorities in Western lands. Clearly the cut-n-run strategy is will mess up the global future of Western Civilization.

The Neocons and (smart) Conservatives are calling for a “troop surge” to alter strategy to confront terrorists with a more root out the rodent vermin goal. Then extricate American troops. If democracy latches on in Iraq or Afghanistan, it will be a Mohammedan cultural version. Civil Rights and Liberty as we know will not exist in a Mohammedan democracy; however a better rule of law may develop that goes after radical terrorists in ways that only a Mohammedan can comprehend.

Or despotism may win the day because medieval thought patterns may be too entrenched in Mohammedan culture until a moderate transformation (hopefully) over takes the radical. Then America will back to the old fashioned client States. The Client States will receive American support for existence as long as they quell the radicals in their nation. Both versions may not be amenable to American and Western National Interests.

President Bush
has assigned General Patraeus to replace General Abizaid as the Commander land troops in Iraq. He will employ the NEW military strategy and we will see where the chips fall. If the Democratic Congress interferes with Patraeus, the new strategy will certainly fail. Let us think long term and not short term. The short term will result in long term anguish for America and the West. The Short term will embolden current minority Mohammedans to embrace its radical nature, placing the so-called moderate on the shelf of insignificance.

Venezuela: More Corruption & Inefficiency

On various blogs that I participate on, I often receive negative commentary due to my Christian Right Neoconservative bent.

Incredibly one of those comments from a Slanted Left thinker implied that Hugo Chavez is doing a good thing for his Venezuelan citizens. If Venezuelans voted to reelect Chavez, why should America involve itself in Venezuelan politics or Chavez’s anti-American antics? That was pondering of a Leftie.

Apparently the Left in the West is so virulent against Bush that they do not comprehend the harm to National Security Chavez can ensue. Indeed, Chavez’s new pal President Ahmadinejad of Iran will hamper International Security. Iran is a rogue nation that has been proven to support financially and with the supply of military weapons to known terrorist organizations.

So is
Chavez good for Venezuelans?

Ethiopian Military Aid Has Almost Dethroned Islamist Courts of Somalia

The battling occurring in Somalia presents an international dilemma. Most of the global nations have recognized the Somali government (actually set up by the U.N.) as the legitimate government of Somalia.

The Islamist Courts that usurped rule of Somalia from its government has a predilection toward radical Islamofascism. The global fear is that a Somalia ruled by the Islamist Courts movement would create a new haven as a training ground for al Qaeda type terrorists.

Ethiopia’s Horn of Africa Mohammedan rival of Eritrea has supported the Islamic Courts as the new legitimate government of Somalia. Ethiopia is a majority Christian nation with a significant minority of Mohammedans. Christians and Mohammedans have been living together without conflict in Ethiopia for the most part. (There is currently persecution of Pentecostal Christians in both Ethiopia and Eritrea. The Christians in Ethiopia are predominantly Coptic Christians.)

Ethiopia views the Islamist Courts of Somalia as a threat to rock the boat between Christians and Mohammedans in Ethiopia. If Ethiopia senses the .... READ THE REST
