Izrafil Asks, "Is Jesus God?"

I visited Izrafil's blog to see what my old buddy was up to. (We have running disagreements) Izrafil was quoting Bible Scriptures out of context or without the context of the preceding and following Scripture to distort a denial of the Lord Jesus Christ's Divinity. IS JESUS GOD?

JESUS HIMSELF DENIED BEING GOD
LUKE 18:19 Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God
LUKE 2:52 Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men.
JOHN 8:42 I proceeded forth and came from God, neither came I of myself but he sent me.
GOD IS ALL KNOWING BUT JESUS WAS NOTMatt 24:36 But of that day and hour no man know, not the angels which are in heaven, nor the son, but only the father. But God knows all, since Jesus does not know of the day of judgment he is not all-knowing and therefore not God

Although Jesus performed miracles he admitted that his power was not his own
John 5:19 I can of mine own self do nothingMatt 12:28 I case out devils by the spirit of God

Luke 22:43 An angel appeared to Jesus and strengthened him

God does not have a God but Jesus did have a God.

Jon 20:17 I ascend unto my father and your father, and to my God and your God.

Matt 27:46 My God My God why hast thou forsaken me?

Luke 6:12 One day Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray and spent the night praying to God.

Hebrews 5:7 During Jesus days on earth, he offered prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him.God does not lose power and if someone drains him of power he would know who had done it.

Mark 5: 25-32 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, because she thought, If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed. Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering. At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, Who touched my clothes? But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it.God is an invisible spirit but Jesus was flesh and blood.

John 1:18 No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only.No one is greater than God and no one can direct him But Jesus acknowledged someone greater than himself.

John 14:28 My father is greater than I.

My response:
(I did a spell check on my blog. Thank goodness because my spelling was atrocious.)
Actually Jesus established that He was God often. Jesus is One with God, meaning the Father and the Son are one; ergo Jesus is God by self-proclamation.Many of the Scriptures you quote from the Holy Bible speaks of God leaving His Heavenly station to become a human being. God had to become man to the price of sin that Adam sold himself into. ONLY a sinless man could do so.
Philippians 2:5-8 (Amp.)

5 Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]
6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [[b]possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not [c]think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped [d]or retained,
7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and [e]rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), in that He became like men and was born a human being.
8 And after He had appeared in human form, He abased and humbled Himself [still further] and carried His obedience to the extreme of death, even the death of the cross!

When Jesus was in His pre-incarnate State He was all Knowing - omniscient. As is recorded in the above verse, Jesus momentarily emptied himself of those Divine prerogatives to save humanity. In the human state Jesus received revelation via the Holy Spirit. Incidentally it is via the Holy Spirit that humanity receives revelation from God to this very day. It is by the Holy Spirit on the hand of Man the True Word of God manifests.
Exodus 3:14 (Amplified Bible)

14 And God said to Moses, I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you!

This Scripture in the Old Testament is where the NAME of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob comes from. In English it has been translated Jehovah and in Modern English closer to the Hebrew it is translated as Yahweh. It is known as the Tetragammatron and the English transliteration from Hebrew is YVWH. It means the self-existent one, or I AM THAT I AM, Or I AM WHO I AM and WHAT I AM, and I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE (from this Amplified Version). Indeed, when Moses asked God, "Who should I say sent me?" God said, "Say I AM sent me." After knowing that, check this out!
John 8:12-59 (Amp.)

12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.
13 Whereupon the Pharisees told Him, You are testifying on Your own behalf; Your testimony is not valid and is worthless.
14 Jesus answered, Even if I do testify on My own behalf, My testimony is true and reliable and valid, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.
15 You [set yourselves up to] judge according to the flesh (by what you see). [You condemn by external, human standards.] I do not [set Myself up to] judge or condemn or sentence anyone.
16 Yet even if I do judge, My judgment is true [My decision is right]; for I am not alone [in making it], but [there are two of Us] I and the Father, Who sent Me.
17 In your [own] Law it is written that the testimony (evidence) of two persons is reliable and valid.(B)
18 I am One [of the Two] bearing testimony concerning Myself; and My Father, Who sent Me, He also testifies about Me.
19 Then they said to Him, Where is this [b]Father of Yours? Jesus answered, You know My Father as little as you know Me. If you knew Me, you would know My Father also.
20 Jesus said these things in the treasury while He was teaching in the temple [[c]court]; but no one ventured to arrest Him, because His hour had not yet come.
21 Therefore He said again to them, I am going away, and you will be looking for Me, and you will die in (under the curse of) your sin. Where I am going, it is not possible for you to come.
22 At this the Jews began to ask among themselves, Will He kill Himself? Is that why He says, Where I am going, it is not possible for you to come?
23 He said to them, You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world (of this earthly order); I am not of this world.
24 That is why I told you that you will die in (under the curse of) your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He [Whom I claim to be--if you do not adhere to, trust in, and rely on Me], you will die in your sins.
25 Then they said to Him, Who are You anyway? Jesus replied, [Why do I even speak to you!] I am exactly what I have been telling you from the first.
26 I have much to say about you and to judge and condemn. But He Who sent Me is true (reliable), and I tell the world [only] the things that I have heard from Him.
27 They did not perceive (know, understand) that He was speaking to them about the Father.
28 So Jesus added, When you have lifted up the Son of Man [on the cross], you will realize (know, understand) that I am He [for Whom you look] and that I do nothing of Myself (of My own accord or on My own authority), but I say [exactly] what My Father has taught Me.
29 And He Who sent Me is ever with Me; My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him.
30 As He said these things, many believed in Him [trusted, relied on, and adhered to Him].
31 So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples.
32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
33 They answered Him, We are Abraham's offspring (descendants) and have never been in bondage to anybody. What do You mean by saying, You will be set free?
34 Jesus answered them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, Whoever commits and practices sin is the slave of sin.
35 Now a slave does not remain in a household permanently (forever); the son [of the house] does remain forever.
36 So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really and unquestionably free.
37 [Yes] I know that you are Abraham's offspring; yet you plan to kill Me, because My word has no entrance (makes no progress, does not find any place) in you.
38 I tell the things which I have seen and learned at My Father's side, and your actions also reflect what you have heard and learned from your father.
39 They retorted, Abraham is our father. Jesus said, If you were [truly] Abraham's children, then you would do the works of Abraham [follow his example, do as Abraham did].
40 But now [instead] you are wanting and seeking to kill Me, a Man Who has told you the truth which I have heard from God. This is not the way Abraham acted.
41 You are doing the works of your [own] father. They said to Him, We are not illegitimate children and born out of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said to them, If God were your Father, you would love Me and respect Me and welcome Me gladly, for I proceeded (came forth) from God [out of His very presence]. I did not even come on My own authority or of My own accord (as self-appointed); but He sent Me.
43 Why do you misunderstand what I say? It is because you are unable to hear what I am saying. [You cannot bear to listen to My message; your ears are shut to My teaching.]
44 You are of your father, the devil, and it is your will to practice the lusts and gratify the desires [which are characteristic] of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood, he speaks what is natural to him, for he is a liar [himself] and the father of lies and of all that is false.
45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me [do not trust Me, do not rely on Me, or adhere to Me].
46 Who of you convicts Me of wrongdoing or finds Me guilty of sin? Then if I speak truth, why do you not believe Me [trust Me, rely on, and adhere to Me]?
47 Whoever is of God listens to God. [Those who belong to God hear the words of God.] This is the reason that you do not listen [to those words, to Me]: because you do not belong to God and are not of God or in harmony with Him.
48 The Jews answered Him, Are we not right when we say You are a Samaritan and that You have a demon [that You are under the power of an evil spirit]?
49 Jesus answered, I am not possessed by a demon. On the contrary, I honor and reverence My Father and you dishonor (despise, vilify, and scorn) Me.
50 However, I am not in search of honor for Myself. [I do not seek and am not aiming for My own glory.] There is One Who [looks after that; He] seeks [My glory], and He is the Judge.
51 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone observes My teaching [lives in accordance with My message, keeps My word], he will by no means ever see and experience death.
52 The Jews said to Him, Now we know that You are under the power of a demon ([d]insane). Abraham died, and also the prophets, yet You say, If a man keeps My word, he will never taste of death into all eternity.
53 Are You greater than our father Abraham? He died, and all the prophets died! Who do You make Yourself out to be?
54 Jesus answered, If I were to glorify Myself (magnify, praise, and honor Myself), I would have no real glory, for My glory would be nothing and worthless. [My honor must come to Me from My Father.] It is My Father Who glorifies Me [Who extols Me, magnifies, and praises Me], of Whom you say that He is your God.
55 Yet you do not know Him or recognize Him and are not acquainted with Him, but I know Him. If I should say that I do not know Him, I would be a liar like you. But I know Him and keep His word [obey His teachings, am faithful to His message].
56 Your forefather Abraham was extremely happy at the hope and prospect of seeing My day (My incarnation); and he did see it and was delighted.(C)
57 Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?
58 Jesus replied, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM.(D)
59 So they took up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus, by mixing with the crowd, concealed Himself and went out of the temple [[e]enclosure].

NOTICE the last few verses!: 57 Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham? 58 Jesus replied, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I AM. Jesus is SAYING ABOUT HIMSELF that He is the I AM of Exodus 3:14. And before any non-believing people pooh pooh that understanding read verse 59: they took up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus, by mixing with the crowd, concealed Himself and went out of the temple [[e]enclosure]. The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was saying, that is why took stones to throw at him. BECAUSE CLAIMED HE WAS GOD AND SPOKE TO ABRAHAM BEFORE MOSES WAS BORN AND SPOKE TO MOSES ON THE MOUNTAIN! You see the Jews also do not comprehend the Trinity and the actuality of the Incarnation of God into man - The Mystery of Salvation. Here is more proof about the Godhood of Jesus:
John 1:1-5 (Amp.)

1 IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [b]Himself.(A)
2 He was present originally with God.
3 All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
5 And the Light shines on in the darkness, for the darkness has never overpowered it [put it out or absorbed it or appropriated it, and is unreceptive to it].

John 1:10-17 (Amp.)
10 He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him].
11 He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own--His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him.
12 But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--(D)
13 Who owe their birth neither to [c]bloods nor to the will of the flesh [that of physical impulse] nor to the will of man [that of a natural father], but to God. [They are born of God!]
14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.(E)
15 John testified about Him and cried out, This was He of Whom I said, He Who comes after me has priority over me, for He was before me. [He takes rank above me, for He existed before I did. He has advanced before me, because He is my Chief.]
16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.
17 For while the Law was given through Moses, grace ([d]unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.(F)

John 17:3-26 (Amp.)
3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent.
4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed.
6 I have manifested Your Name [I have revealed Your very Self, Your real Self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your word.
7 Now [at last] they know and understand that all You have given Me belongs to You [is really and truly Yours].
8 For the [uttered] words that You gave Me I have given them; and they have received and accepted [them] and have come to know positively and in reality [to believe with absolute assurance] that I came forth from Your presence, and they have believed and are convinced that You did send Me.
9 I am praying for them. I am not praying (requesting) for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they belong to You.
10 All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]
11 And [now] I am no more in the world, but these are [still] in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep in Your Name [[a]in the knowledge of Yourself] those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We [are one].
12 While I was with them, I kept and preserved them in Your Name [[b]in the knowledge and worship of You]. Those You have given Me I guarded and protected, and not one of them has perished or is lost except the son of perdition [Judas Iscariot--the one who is now doomed to destruction, destined to be lost], that the Scripture might be fulfilled.(A) 13 And now I am coming to You; I say these things while I am still in the world, so that My joy may be made full and complete and perfect in them [that they may experience My delight fulfilled in them, that My enjoyment may be perfected in their own souls, that they may have My gladness within them, filling their hearts].
14 I have given and delivered to them Your word (message) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world [do not belong to the world], just as I am not of the world.
15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.
16 They are not of the world (worldly, belonging to the world), [just] as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
18 Just as You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.
19 And so for their sake and on their behalf I sanctify (dedicate, consecrate) Myself, that they also may be sanctified (dedicated, consecrated, made holy) in the Truth.
20 Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching,
21 That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me. 22 I have given to them the glory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one [even] as We are one:
23 I in them and You in Me, in order that they may become one and perfectly united, that the world may know and [definitely] recognize that You sent Me and that You have loved them [even] as You have loved Me.
24 Father, I desire that they also whom You have entrusted to Me [as Your gift to Me] may be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory, which You have given Me [Your love gift to Me]; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25 O just and righteous Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize You and has never acknowledged You, I have known You [continually]; and these men understand and know that You have sent Me.
26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very [c]Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them.

Below is described the Oneness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
John 16:7-30 (Amp.)

7 However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].
8 And when He comes, He will convict and convince the world and bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:
9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me];
10 About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer;
11 About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged and condemned and sentence already is passed upon him.
12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them or to take them upon you or to grasp them now.
13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce and declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
16 In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me.
17 So some of His disciples questioned among themselves, What does He mean when He tells us, In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me, and, Because I go to My Father?
18 What does He mean by a little while? We do not know or understand what He is talking about.
19 Jesus knew that they wanted to ask Him, so He said to them, Are you wondering and inquiring among yourselves what I meant when I said, In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me?
20 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that you shall weep and grieve, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
21 A woman, when she gives birth to a child, has grief (anguish, agony) because her time has come. But when she has delivered the child, she no longer remembers her pain (trouble, anguish) because she is so glad that a man (a child, a human being) has been born into the world.
22 So for the present you are also in sorrow (in distress and depressed); but I will see you again and [then] your hearts will rejoice, and no one can take from you your joy (gladness, delight).
23 And when that time comes, you will ask nothing of Me [you will need to ask Me no questions]. I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name [as [a]presenting all that I AM].(A)
24 Up to this time you have not asked a [single] thing in My Name [as [b]presenting all that I AM]; but now ask and keep on asking and you will receive, so that your joy (gladness, delight) may be full and complete.
25 I have told you these things in parables (veiled language, allegories, dark sayings); the hour is now coming when I shall no longer speak to you in figures of speech, but I shall tell you about the Father in plain words and openly (without reserve).
26 At that time you will ask (pray) in My Name; and I am not saying that I will ask the Father on your behalf [for it will be unnecessary].
27 For the Father Himself [tenderly] loves you because you have loved Me and have believed that I came out from the Father.
28 I came out from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
29 His disciples said, Ah, now You are speaking plainly to us and not in parables (veiled language and figures of speech)!
30 Now we know that You are acquainted with everything and have no need to be asked questions. Because of this we believe that you [really] came from God.

Colossians 1:12-22 (Amp.)
12 Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the [l]portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light.
13 [The Father] has delivered and [m]drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son [n]of His love, 14 In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.
15 [Now] He is the [o]exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation.
16 For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.
17 And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together).(A)
18 He also is the Head of [His] body, the church; seeing He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from among the dead, so that He alone in everything and in every respect might occupy the chief place [stand first and be preeminent].
19 For it has pleased [the Father] that all the divine fullness (the sum total of the divine perfection, powers, and attributes) should dwell in Him [p]permanently.
20 And God purposed that through ([q]by the service, the intervention of) Him [the Son] all things should be completely reconciled [r]back to Himself, whether on earth or in heaven, as through Him, [the Father] made peace by means of the blood of His cross. 21 And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities,
22 Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father's] presence.

To recap: The Father is God, Jesus Christ (the Son of God) is God and the Holy Spirit (which proceeds from the Father and the Son) is God; in unity and oneness. The oneness is the same as a human is three and one: a human is a spirit, with a soul (mind and emotions) and lives in a body. The three and the one in unity.

Author Maltreated By Mexican Rich & Powerful For Exposing Pedofilia

A Mexican journalist published a book exposing the rich and powerful in Mexico involved in a pedophilia ring. Lydia Cacho's reward: The Mexican authorities arrested her, drove 900 km from her home and then abused and threatened her for 30 hours.

Many Americans are aware corruption is rampant in Mexico, nonetheless this kind of treatment of a brave woman bring light to a dark underworld of wealth and corrupt politicians is reprehensible. These Mexicans either abusing their own or foreign stolen children for perverted sexual pleasure.

The man responsible for providing the perverted pleasures of demented Mexicans is a Lebanonese man by the name of Jean Succar who is connected to Kamel Nacif a textile mogul. I am guessing that Succar is the manager and Nacif is the money man. Below is the story provided by Rigorous Intuition:
--------------------------------------
What lies beneath

Told about Jesus, told about the rain,
Told me about the jungle where her brothers were slain
By a man who danced on the roof of the embassy.

- Bob Dylan

I've just time today to briefly note a story from Mexico that may remind readers of many other stories (with thanks to starroute for the thread on the RI discussion board):

Writer Who Exposed Child Sex Ring Fears Worst Is Yet to Come
MEXICO CITY, Feb 24 (IPS) - When Mexican freelance journalist and human rights activist Lydia Cacho published a book last year exposing a paedophile ring ["Los demonios del Edén" (The Demons of Eden)], she was warned by friends and colleagues that she would run into trouble.

It did not take long for their warnings to come true. She was arrested by the police, driven 900 kms to the state of Puebla, held for 30 hours, mistreated and threatened. Now that she is the target of the wrath of powerful Mexican businessmen and politicians, she is worried that the worst is yet to come
....

More recently, she was dragged into a scandal after a dozen taped telephone conversations were leaked to the press and broadcast on Feb. 14. In the obscenity-laced conversations, a voice identified as that of Mario Marín, the governor of the state of Puebla, can be heard telling a man who is allegedly textile mogul Kamel Nacif that "I just gave a bump on the head to that old witch."

In her book, Cacho described Nacif as a friend of Jean Succar, a Lebanese-born businessman who is facing charges of arranging paedophile parties.

The illegally taped phone conversations attributed to the governor and various individuals, including a reporter, apparently took place in December, after Cacho was taken into custody by the police in the southeastern resort town of Cancún and driven to Puebla.

In the conversations, the voices identified as those of Nacif and Marín discuss how they had the activist arrested and thrown into a cell with "nutcases and dykes (lesbians)," so that she would be raped. That did not happen, however, because in the prison in Puebla, "the prisoners themselves and the guards protected me," said the writer. But she was mistreated. Cacho described how she was threatened during the nearly 20-hour trip to Puebla and was only allowed to eat once

....

Cacho, who is also the co-founder of the Centro Integral de Apoyo a la Mujer (CIAM), a shelter for victims of domestic violence and rape in her home base of Cancún, interviewed many of Succar's victims for her book. The youngsters described how the hotel owner sexually abused them himself, set up a prostitution ring to allow others to abuse them, and photographed them in order to sell the pornographic images on the Internet.

This case is just one thread in a vast web of similar rings throughout Mexico.

Nacif, as his friend Succar, is a Lebanese emigre with a nasty reputation that long precedes the publication of Cacho's book. Mexico's "King of Denim" has "the unsavory habit of frequently changing the name of his many companies, in order to avoid paying debts, taxes and accumulated worker benefits to those laid off." And six years ago, the Sun Herald, wrote that "Mexican textile magnate Kamel Nacif has been a familiar face at Las Vegas gambling tables for some 30 years, using phony identification to wager at Caesars Palace when he was still in his late teens. He remains, however, a bit of a multimillionaire mystery man, long suspected by Nevada Gaming Control Board agents of money laundering and arms and narcotics dealing."

(Coincidentally, it was an expat Lebanese crime family operating in the Caribbean Basin that FBI undercover operative Darlene Novinger was investigating in 1982, when she reportedly, and unfortunately, discovered the Bush family implicated in its narcotics trade.)

Nacif filed his suit in the south central province of Puebla, where most of his textile sweatshops are located, and where he could call on his friend the governor to protect his good name, though the crimes in which he is implicated occured in Cancún. (Where last week, a Canadian couple had their throats slit in their hotel room on the eve of their daughter's wedding. Nothing was stolen and the wife was not raped, and Mexican authorities are being markedly uncooperative.) The scandal "of personal power and cronyism" is likely to cost Marin his governorship, but as El Universal editorialized yesterday, that's just the public scandal of "the powerful protecting the powerful." Behind it "is something much more hideous."

There certainly seems to be something about Mexico, and at least some of that has to do with its proximity to hidden American hands. It was allegedly the destination of the children and their minders in the troubling Finders case. ("Once in custody the men were somewhat evasive in their answers to the police regarding the children and stated only that they both were the children's teachers and that all were enroute to Mexico to establish a school for brilliant children.") In little more than a decade, thousands of young women, mostly factory workers, have been raped, tortured and murdered in the borderland maquiladoras without justice being served. ("We believe this is a binational crime," says Emma Perez of the Coalition Against Violence Toward Women and Families on the Border. "And because it's happening on an international border, it requires international involvement," she says. "How many more women have to be murdered for this to be taken seriously?") In November 2004, a crowd "angry about recent child kidnappings cornered plainclothes federal agents taking photos of students at a school on Mexico City's outskirts and burned the officers alive." And as David McGowan writes in Programmed to Kill, one of Henry Lee Lucas's more extravagent claims was that he laboured for a cult as an "abductor of children, whom he delivered to a ranch in Mexico near Juarez. Once there, they were used in the production of child pornography and for ritual sacrifices. Henry has said that this cult's operations were based in Texas, and included trafficking in children and drugs."

Ugly things lie buried everywhere, though in the United States you might not know it if all you know is broadcast journalism. And that's most Americans. Until they regenerate a legitimate media, it may take looking elsewhere, where the graves are more shallow, to see what lies beneath.

--------------------
With pedophilia secretly sanctioned by the wealthy and powerful in Mexico one should take stock in this. Corrupt member of the Mexican military have been used as muscle protection as drug lords cross the border to sell their wares to Americans. If pedophilia is so rampant in Mexico, what is to stop protected drug lords from kidnapping American children and sell them into Mexican exploitation? The Bush Administration needs to make some public statements to hold the Mexican government accountable. Surely we are not afraid of their military. We whupped up on Mexico when we were a pip squeak power in the Mexican American war. I don't think we should have much of problem in a punitive expedition if American children are being abused. Do you?

Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat

If Izrafil thinks I am not up to date on Mohammedan perversions that is common in Mohammedan lands check out this icky piece of news from the BBC:

BBC News

A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.

The goat's owner, Mr Alifi, said he surprised the man with his goat and took him to a council of elders.

They ordered the man, Mr Tombe, to pay a dowry of 15,000 Sudanese dinars ($50) to Mr Alifi.

"We have given him the goat, and as far as we know they are still together," Mr Alifi said.
Mr Alifi, Hai Malakal in Upper Nile State, told the Juba Post newspaper that he heard a loud noise around midnight on 13 February and immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.

"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up".

Mr Alifi then called elders to decide how to deal with the case.

"They said I should not take him to the police, but rather let him pay a dowry for my goat because he used it as his wife," Mr Alifi told the newspaper.

I got to tell you that is some nasty stuff!

Izrafil Responds to "The Religion of Peace," I Answer Izrafil

Izrafil and I have been having a running discussion about our beliefs about our faith. Basically Izrafil thinks I am full of bologni and I think the same of his faith. We have managed to semi-keep our cools, but is underestandable when one of goes off on the other. We are both passionate we are correct. Izrafil's blog: Izrafil, angel of the last breath. Izrafil's response to my "The Religion of Peace Strikes Again" post are blockquotes and Italics. To see the entirity of Izrafil's comments go that post (Just click on the title of this post).

"Theway2k Christians have been living in the Middle-East ever since Jesus walked on the face of the earth...Now if they have been so persecuted as you claim why then have they stayed for centuries without ever leaving?"

You are right about how long Christians have lived there. In fact many of these Christians were of Arabic and Aramaic origin. It was not until The area was conquered by sword wielding Mohammedans six years after pseudo-prophet Mohammed dies - 638 AD - (and possibly descends to hell). Caliph Omar is magnanimous toward Jews and allows them to reenter Jerusalem. In 969 AD Fatimid Mohammedans begin destruction of churches and synagogues. After 300 years of benign Dhimmitude Christians begin to experience the true nature of Mohammedanism. The truly faithful are now trapped into slavery. In 1071 AD Seljuk (Turks) Mohammedans devastate Jerusalem. In 1099 ruthless Christians retake Holy Land and savagely kill Jews and Mohammedans alike. This was not a good moment for Christianity, however neither was it representative of the Scriptures of Christ. Mohammedans eject Crusaders about 200 years later. By the time the Ottoman (Turks) Mohammedans rule the Palestine area the land is nearly empty of people due to devastation of the land. Many of the smaller towns (such as Bethlehem for example) actually have a Christian majority because Mohammedans choose not to live in an area bereft of economics. The Christian Arabs in the area accommodate Christian pilgrims that the Ottomans allow to show up. Also for the same reason Jews begin to re-populate their former homeland. There was no Mohammedan protest because the land was useless. Mohammedan Ottomans lose control of the land in 1917 when British General Allen conquers Jerusalem. (Dates at http://www.historychannel.com/exhibits/jerusalem/jerutime.html)

"We know for a fact that when people of a tribe, race or religion have been persecuted there were great exodus, humans don’t like sitting around waiting to be exterminated either they fight back or they take the french leave...now I have not seen any of that happening there."

Actually the facts are when a people are not allowed to leave because dhimmitude provided jizya tax. This is why so many converted to Mohammedanism to avoid dhimmitude. After years of indoctrination, the succeeding generations forgot their Christian origins and became well instructed in the death cult (allah be praised, right).
"What i see everyday ,for years, ever since i have been a child is the Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people. But in your westernized eyes this is not happening it is the contrary, the Palestinians freedom fighters fighting against the annihilation of their way of life and land have now been labelled "terrorists" while the real agents of terror have become the liberators."
The Jews have a Divine promise to that land, they were the forcibly removed. Palestinian Freedom fights are simply murdering thugs made to reside their by their fellow Arabs of they screwed themselves by loosing to inferiorly lower numbered Jews in 1948. The Murdering Arab told what few Arabs that lived in the new nation of Israel to flee because of the holocaust of death they were going to implement on the Jews. Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq got the behind waxed displaying the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the true God while "allah" is a demon deluder. Then Egypt, Jordan and Syria conspired to make those Palestinian Mohammedans that told to flee refugees. Why? ONLY for the reason to be able to attack Israel to get the Land promised to the Jews. The Land the Mohammedans neglected and the Jews restored to arable use again, I might add. (The truth is at http://www.masada2000.org/index.html)

"If we adopt this line of thinking the whole world should arm ,finance and support the remaining American Indians, so that they can fight back, wage war and reclaim their land from the successors of white Christian settlers who through a massive genocide exterminated their ancestors in the most horrid and criminal manner."

This is one of the lamest analogies I have ever read. Mohammedans in the name of their death cult leader swept land to Tours in the 700's and to the gates of Vienna in 1683. In between that the Ottoman Mohammedan would steal Christian children to force conversion and them to be Janissaries who would kill Christians whom they once were. The Mohammedans are more equivalent to your Indian analogy in that they stole land. Indians would represent the Christians murder by the death cult.
Here is a quote from the Polish military leader John Sobieski who defeated the Ottoman Mohammedans at their last attempt at Vienna in 1683: "It is not a city alone that we have to save, but the whole of Christianity, of which the city of Vienna is the bulwark. This war is a holy one." (Quoted from http://www.crf-usa.org/bria/bria20_1b.htm)

"But to answer your question the world is tired of Christian Missionaries and for what they represent a bunch of genocidal, sex perverts whose modus operanti include charitable allurment, deception, lies, educational indoctrination, medical care, sexual abuse and violence!"

Mohammedans are among the largest sex perverts in the world. Old Mohammed married as one of his wives a 6 year kid and had sex with her. Three years later at the age of 9, the marriage was consummated. (Mohammed the Pedofile) Mohammedans promise a paradise of 70 virgins for eternal carnal pleasures to murdering martyrs who kill themselves and their innocent victims. Shi'ite Ayatollah Khomeini had this little book that validated pedofile actions and beastiality.

A man can have sex with animals such as sheep¹s, cows, camels and so on. However he should kill the animal after he has his orgasm. He should not sell the meat to the people in his own village, however selling the meat to the next door village should be fine.

From Khomeini's book, "Tahrirolvasyleh", fourth volume, Darol Elm, Gom, Iran, 1990. (More at MilitantIslam.org)

The Religion of Peace Strikes Again

PALESTINE
(VOM-Canada)
A February 14th report from Middle East Concern states the Gaza office of the Palestine Bible Society has been forced to close. The Bible Society received a letter from militants demanding the Bible Society completely close down their operations and not reopen anywhere else in Gaza. They also demanded the landlord evict them from the building by February 28th. The letter warned if these demands were not met, all residents should leave the building because it will be blown up March 1st. A bomb was placed outside the office to reinforce the threat. As a result of the letter, the landlord has demanded the office close, at least for the time being. The building also houses several Muslim families. Palestinian Christians ask us to pray they will trust the Lord?s protection and not give way to these threats.

Pray God will give Palestinian Christians great discernment to do His will in response to this threat. Pray He will protect them as they follow His guidance. Pray the Holy Spirit will move in great power to thwart the plans of radical Muslims in Palestine. Voice of the Martyrs

Arab Christians in so-called Palestine have been fighting for their lives. They are particularly worried now because is now the political power of the Palestine Authority. Arab Christians have not faired well under Fatah rule, but Fatah was more interested in self-aggrandizing corruption than actual Palestinian Statehood.

Enter Hamas: There is no corruption with Hamas - that is the good news. The bad news: Hamas is an organized band of Islamofascists intent on destroying anything not Mohammedan. In this case, that is Jews and Christians and Israel in particular.

The Christians in the above VOM update were given the typical Mohammedan to dhimmi communique: Do what we tell you and do not offend us or you will die.

Welcome to the Religion of Peace at its glamorous best.

PORT CONTROVERSY: 90 TERMINALS AT U.S. PORTS ARE ALREADY OPERATED BY ...

If you are a Christian this is the time to pray for our elected and appointed leaders. Particularly pray for wisdom and direction in relation to the Port Authority and DPW (owned by UAE).

I have heard a lot of Conservatives and Democrats alike defend and condemn the DPW deal. Apparently the Port deal with DPW will be excellent for the economy and build politically correct trust with Arabic business in the Middle East.

On the otherhand, the UAE (or at least portions of Emirs) have a money trail that supports Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda and the Taliban (before their defeat by America). The money trail gives the appearance that infiltration by Islamofascists terrorists posing as DPW business personnel may cause 911-like havoc and death.

I suspect both sides of the argument are correct. If both sides are correct, I personally lean toward the infiltration position. I am not willing to allow Islamofascist Arabs disguised as friendly DPW personnel to slip into the country. There simply too many intangibles. Such as what you may ask?

Well for one thing Russia has not being keeping track of old brief case nuke bombs intended as potential weapons during the Cold War. They have misplaced the aged lethal weapons. Iran is near nuke WMD capability. Iranians work for DPW and could indeed be the very Islamofascist moles to pose as DPW or UAE officials. A nuke blast at a port (even small scale) would devaste the American economy and could push America over the edge to become appeasers or execute a nuke response - one extreme or the other.

That is my pitch. Now let's look at the Christian angle from Intercessors For America.
------------------------------------
PORT CONTROVERSY: 90 TERMINALS AT U.S. PORTS ARE ALREADY OPERATED BY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS AND BUSINESSES

The United States has 95,000 miles of open shoreline with 361 ports. Annually, 7,500 ships make 51,000 port calls and unload more than 6 million containers.

On Watch in Washington, Editorial Team: Gary Bergel / Brian Miller / William Lee
February 22, 2006

Unless lawmakers can scuttle the Bush administration's port deal, the Dubai-government-owned Dubai Ports World (DPW) will join a growing list of foreign-owned entities that are heavily involved in port operations across the U.S.

U.S. companies continue to operate the majority of terminals, but no U.S. company made a bid on the purchase of Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation, the current holder of the contracts.

Homeland Security officials scurried yesterday to compile a list of all terminal operators in 361 U.S. ports. The governments of China and Singapore own companies that hold terminal leases along the West Coast. Japanese businesses control dozens of terminals nationwide, and a Danish company runs nearly a dozen major ports on the East Coast.

Dubai Ports World (DPW)--which also has trucking operations, freight transportation logistics, and airport operations--is owned by a member of the United Arab Emirates. The $6.8 billion Dubai Ports World deal, which is scheduled to close March 2, would allow DPW to add six major U.S. ports to the 22 marine terminals it already operates in 15 countries, including China, India, Venezuela, and Australia.

PORT DEBATE: PRO & CON

PRO:
• The United Arab Emirates is a U.S. ally that has cooperated extensively with U.S. security operations in the war on terrorism, supplied troops to the U.S.-led coalition during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, and sends humanitarian aid to Iraq. U.S. troops move freely in and out of Dubai on their way to Iraq now.

• A goal of "democracy promotion" in the Middle East, after all, is to encourage Arab countries to become economically and politically integrated with the rest of the world. What better way to do so than by encouraging Arab companies to invest in the United States?

• Work at the ports would continue to be done by unionized longshoremen and the U.S. Coast Guard, and Customs and Border Protection still would provide security at ports. The contract to manage the ports is not expected to involve large numbers of United Arab Emirates or foreign dockworkers, but it will involve some United Arab Emirates nationals who are Dubai Ports World managers to direct and oversee port operations.

• A Federal Election Commission investigation has turned up no evidence of campaign contributions by DPW or its employees in the U.S.

• The CIA operates a base in Dubai, and U.S. military unmanned aerial vehicles also fly out of the Persian Gulf state for intelligence-gathering missions. "It's a country that's been involved in the global war on terror with us; it's a country that we have facilities that we use," said Defense Secretary Rumsfeld.

• The port deal was approved by a U.S. Treasury Committee on Foreign Investment, in part based on the United Arab Emirates' support for U.S. government activities in the war on terrorism. The Department of Homeland Security was the lead agency in supporting the deal based on past United Arab Emirates cooperation with a U.S.-led shipping container security initiative in Dubai.

CON:
• Security fears about infiltration by terrorists... Intelligence and security officials opposed to the deal with Dubai Ports World said ports are vulnerable to the entry of terrorists or illicit weapons because of the large number of containers that enter the U.S., regardless of who manages them.

• A Persian Gulf state, such as the United Arab Emirates, could provide an infrastructure for terrorists to penetrate U.S. security as part of a major terrorist operation. One long-term worry is that al Qaeda terrorists will attempt to smuggle a nuclear device into the United States through a port via a shipping container. Allowing a Middle Eastern company to manage key ports "would be like putting the fox in charge of the henhouse," said one security official.

DUBAI PORT CO. MAY HAVE TROUBLING TIES TO BUSH ADMINISTRATION (Washington Times, 2/22/06). Dubai Ports World (DPW) has several potential ties to the Bush administration, which approved the acquisition. Treasury Secretary John W. Snow was chairman of CSX Corp. before being appointed by President Bush to the Treasury Department. In addition, Mr. Bush late last month appointed David Sanborn, who runs DPW's European and Latin American operations to head the U.S. Maritime Administration.

• A shipping source said what is more disconcerting than the port deal is that foreign businesses and governments are sitting down with Homeland Security officials to create cargo security regulations. "As the government puts these security regulations together, also at the table are unregistered foreign agents of the government of China and Singapore, making recommendations to us on cargo security," the source said.

Prayer Points:
Pray that our national leaders would have the wisdom to address all concerns regarding our national security and that misinformation, rumor, and political advancement would not rule.

Pray that members of the Bush administration, Congress, and all U.S. Security Agencies would be able to consider fairly all facts regarding this national debate on our ports and points of entry.

Pray that management of all U.S. points of entry--borders, air, rail and sea--would be manned and managed by those whose guiding principle is the protection of all U.S. citizens.

Pray for overworked Customs agents, who have the right to open any container and inspect the contents; such procedures are conducted on about five percent of all containers nationwide. Pray for the lack of any screening for the thousands of truck drivers, many of whom are immigrants, hauling containers from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA., to railway lines.

Port Security Humbug
February 22, 2006

You know there is something suspicious going on when multiple members of Congress -- House, Senate, Democrat, Republican, future presidential candidates of all stripes -- spontaneously unite around an issue that none of them had known existed a week earlier. That appears to be what happened last weekend after politicians awoke to the fairly stale news that the London-based P&O navigation company, which has long managed the ports of New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami and Philadelphia, had been taken over by Dubai Ports World, a company based in the United Arab Emirates. Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) called the deal "tone-deaf politically at this point in our history." Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) called for the White House to put a hold on the purchase. Minority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) seconded him, implying that Arab owners posed a major security threat -- as did everyone from Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) to Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) to Rep. Peter T. King (R-N.Y.) to Maryland Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. (R).

At stake -- in theory -- is the question of whether we should "outsource major port security to a foreign-based company," in the words of Mr. Graham. But those words, like that of almost all of the others, sound, well, tone-deaf to us. For one, the deal cannot "outsource major port security," because management companies that run ports do not control security. The U.S. Coast Guard controls the physical security of our ports. The U.S. Customs Service controls container security. That doesn't change, no matter who runs the business operations. Nor is it clear why Mr. Graham or anybody else should be worried about "foreign-based" companies managing U.S. ports, since P&O is a British company. And Britain, as events of the last year have illustrated, is no less likely to harbor radical Islamic terrorists than Dubai.

None of the U.S. politicians huffing and puffing seem to be aware that this deal was long in the making, that it had been reported on extensively in the financial press, and that it went through normal security clearance procedures, including approval from a foreign investment committee that contains officials from the departments of Treasury, Commerce, State and Homeland Security, among other agencies. Even more disturbing is the apparent difficulty of members of Congress in distinguishing among Arab countries. We'd like to remind them, as they've apparently forgotten, that the United Arab Emirates is a U.S. ally that has cooperated extensively with U.S. security operations in the war on terrorism, that supplied troops to the U.S.-led coalition during the 1991 Persian Gulf War, and that sends humanitarian aid to Iraq. U.S. troops move freely in and out of Dubai on their way to Iraq now.

Finally, we're wondering if perhaps American politicians are having trouble understanding some of the most basic goals of contemporary U.S. foreign policy. A goal of "democracy promotion" in the Middle East, after all, is to encourage Arab countries to become economically and politically integrated with the rest of the world. What better way to do so than by encouraging Arab companies to invest in the United States? Clearly, Congress doesn't understand that basic principle, since its members prefer instead to spread prejudice and misinformation.

China & India Will Challenge American Hegemony

By John R. Houk
NCCR Blog

China & India Will Challenge American Hegemony
China and India are emerging economic powers. China is a Marxist/Maoist regime flirting with the prosperity Capitalism brings. India is a somewhat Western style democracy implementing Capitalism as an economic growth agenda for national prosperity. The two nations are competing to whom will dominate in their region. Their race affects American hegemony on a global scale.

Let us be clear, American global hegemony is what will prosper America in the coming centuries. In light of this concept America must continually evolve policy to match what is good for the American National Interest.

China is a Marxist nation. This is diametrically opposed to all America stands for. America stands for Liberty, Freedom (civil liberties and free thought of religion, philosophy and atheism) and the Pursuit of Happiness. China stands for dictatorship, managed economies and State Supremacy over its citizens (managed liberties and civil rights).

India is a Capitalist nation that stands for emerging civil rights and liberty. They have not achieved that by any means in their society, but it is a goal. And it is a noble goal. Nonetheless, India has been emergent as a competitor on the global level that has taken jobs from Americans. This counters American National Interests.

These are things the American public (because they are voters) and America's ruling elites (whether Democrat or Republican) must consider in future policy decisions.

With that in mind I received my
inspiration in an article from (gasp!) Utne a liberal publication that discusses the emergence of competition to American hegemony.

ACLU Gets The Boot

People in Montana complained about the ACLU being involved in a presentation at the State Library located in Helena. The library was running a forum on how the Patriot Act affected Libraries. However when became apparent that a filmed being showed was made by the ACLU, the complaints began to flow in from private citizens and state employees alik. Good for Montana!
----------------------------
Some localities don’t want the ACLU involved with their issues. I commend the state of Montana for taking a stand against the civil liberties group that cares more about terrorists’ hurt feelings than American lives.
HELENA — The Montana State Library has canceled a showing of a movie critical of the U.S. Patriot Act after people complained about the American Civil Liberties Union being involved.
The State Library said it originally thought the film, ‘‘The ACLU Freedom Files,’’ would be a good pick for its monthly seminar series because parts of the Patriot Act affects libraries.
But the library decided Tuesday the presentation might be one-sided in its criticism of the Patriot Act and canceled a viewing scheduled for Friday.
A State Library spokeswoman said complaints came from residents and state employees who didn’t like the idea of the ACLU getting a forum.

I wish more people would speak up and say these things. The ACLU has an agenda and it isn’t in America’s best interest. At all. The ACLU has enough money and resources- it doesn’t need skits like this to promote itself.
‘‘They weren’t really protesting the video; they were protesting the ACLU being at a state agency,’’ said Sara J. Groves. ‘‘That was the majority of the complaints.’’
The library considered finding someone to counter the ACLU’s position on the Patriot Act but couldn’t on short notice. They might try such an event at a later date, Groves said.
‘‘It’s very possible we will do something that will present all sides of this issue,’’ she said.
The ACLU of Montana, which was scheduled to moderate Friday’s forum, said it was disappointed in the State Library’s decision.

Good ... make it a little more fair and balanced at least. Getting both sides of the issue out is what true debate is all about. But the ACLU doesn’t bother with such minor details as debate.

Dhimmitude Coming To Christians Living on The Palestinian Side of the Holy Land

There has been a large contingent of Christians living on the Palestinian side of the Holy Land for some time. More than likely longer than the Mohammedans since the land was conquered from Christians. During the days of conquest the Christian Arabs/Greek that lived in the area were given this choice: convert to Mohammedanism or become a dhimmi and pay the jizya tax. Dhimmitude is second class citizenship with nearly zero rights. A Mohammedan will try to delude Westerners into thinking Dhimmitude was protection, but really it was nearly slavery. Dhimmitude is best related to how Southern American Whites treated Black Americans prior to the Civil Rights movement. There is Mohammedan only stuff and places and Dhimmi only stuff and places. Violation by Dhimmis is often a death sentence.

In pseudo-Palestine Hamas has taken over authority. Islamofascists have long been forcing Christians that used to be a majority in many cities to flee. The Christians that remain fear sharia law and the imposition of the jizya tax.

Pay attention America and Europe, you are on the Mohammedan agenda.

Bethlehem's Christian minority concerned about Hamas' rule
Ecumenical News International
By Michele Green

BETHLEHEM - Christians living in Jesus' birthplace are bracing themselves as the militant Islamic group Hamas prepares to take power as the Palestinian Authority government after winning legislative elections in January.

"There are many Christians who are afraid," said Shatha, a student at the Roman Catholic Bethlehem University. "Since Hamas is new to the government, I doubt they will be able to implement Islamic law," she said the day before Hamas was to take over the Palestinian authority on Feb. 17. "But it's possible they might in the future."

Bethlehem's Christian community was already concerned after a member of the city council that is controlled by Hamas suggested imposing a tax known as Jizya on Christians, one traditionally imposed by Islamic rulers on non-Muslim subjects. The councilor has since saidthat such a tax would only be imposed once Sharia law is imposed in line with Hamas' charter, which calls for the destruction of Israel and the establishment of an Islamic state on its ruins.

But the denials that the council is considering imposing a Jizya tax has not quelled concern among some Christians in Bethlehem, where there is rising tension between the dwindling Christian residents and the growing Muslim population.

Since being elected, Hamas leaders have made a point of emphasising they would not force women to wear the "hijab" or veil, ban alcohol or separate boys and girls at schools.

But some Christians believe it is only a matter of time before Hamas starts flexing its muscles. They cite a list of grievances that have made life in Bethlehem uncomfortable for some and which is spurring an annual emigration rate of an estimated 2,000 of the city's 40,000 Christians.
Complaints range from services in the Church of the Nativity being drowned out by blaring loudspeakers from a mosque across Manger Square, to incidents of what local Christians call harassment of their women by Muslims.

Brawls between Christians and Muslims have broken out over small incidents such as car accidents as well as allegations of harassment.
"A lot of Christians don't wear the cross anymore, especially the men, because they don't want to stand out and they don't want any trouble," one Christian woman said.

But not everyone is worried. A Christian shopkeeper, who declined to be named, said he is certain that Hamas will never try to ban the selling of alcohol in Bethlehem as it has almost completely done in the Gaza Strip, where Christians are a tiny minority.

"Hamas is smart and knows that Bethlehem is in the world's spotlight," he said. "Don't worry, I'll always be allowed to sell alcohol, and they will never make our women wear the veil."

This is where I stand - where do you stand?

Continuing discussions with Bill:
---------------------
John,

Thanks for our continuing conversation.

I am not a Democrat or a Republican. I believe God is in my heart and that He gave me a brain and expects me to use it. Having traveled in 22 countries and lived in three, I have had the opportunity to see many points of view and to realize that although I honor the upbringing that molded my core values, I know that upbringing was a matter of chance, that I was born in time and space.

I don't think that God's values are relative - I believe they are absolute, and that is reinforced in my experience in that I see these values in good people regardless of their religion or nationality or race or sex - or sexual orientation.

I would doubt that God will give much weight on Judgment Day should I use, as an argument, that my actions were the result of what I was told by some religion or political party. Religions and political parties, even in America, have in the past supported slavery, withholding of women's rights, segregation, and a host of things I know in my heart to be wrong. I know and assume full responsibility for my actions. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God - and I believe that God also inspired the works of Shakespeare, Mozart, Van Gogh, and even Mohammed.

Most people stray little from their childhood influences - if born a Muslim, they are apt to stay Muslim; if born a Republican, they are apt to stay Republican; if born into a democracy, they are apt to retain strong ties to democracy. "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things." (1 Corinthians 13:11)

I believe the Bible is hardly inerrant, and blind faith, to me as an adult, is as stupid as the ancient Greeks believing that the Gods resided on Olympus, or the Egyptians who believed that the Pharaoh was the incarnation of God, or the Inquisitors who believed they were doing godly work, or the Catholics who see their historically corrupt church as necessary between them and God.

I do believe in common sense, love, non-judgmental behavior, charity, compassion, humility, and my deep-rooted sense of the difference between right and wrong. I think science reveals an aspect of God's truth.

All this is a preamble, but it supports my position on a number of political issues. John, I have met you before, not you specifically, but the many people like you, relatives, friends, and acquaintances, all over the world and over the decades. And I am saddened that so many of you are so closed-minded, and often so hypocritical. It is crystal clear to me that the death penalty is unnecessary, that abortions should be rare but be the province of the woman and her physician, that people should be treated equally regardless of race, religion, nationality, sex, or sexual orientation, and that euthanasia is a matter only between an individual and his physician.

On practical matters I am also clear about the growing gulf between rich and poor, the inequities of public education, the inexcusable lack of health insurance for children. I'm opposed to elective wars and having lived in Saudi Arabia, it comes at no surprise that tribal and regional animosities would be unleashed as soon as Saddam was overthrown and that the U.S. was naive to have gone into the Iraq War without a full contingency to deal with this probability.

I am also smart enough to see politicians for who they are, very few who stand with integrity, conviction, or principle. It is clear that our politics have generated a house divided, and that this is the nations loss. Leadership is scant, and ultimately motivated self-interests come far ahead of any effort to improve the quality of life.

John, life is short, a mere 30,000 days or so out of an eternity. And I will wonder at how you or I will fare when we stand before St. Peter and he asks, "Well how did you spend your one short life - your one chance in all eternity to be born in some time and space, male or female, black or white, rich or poor, gay or straight - just how did you spend that life and - how did you live up to that potential - what difference did you make?”

With love,

Bill

My response to Bill below:

I would doubt that God will give much weight on Judgment Day should I use, as an argument, that my actions were the result of what I was told by some religion or political party. Religions and political parties, even in America, have in the past supported slavery, withholding of women's rights, segregation, and a host of things I know in my heart to be wrong. I know and assume full responsibility for my actions. I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God - and I believe that God also inspired the works of Shakespeare, Mozart, Van Gogh, and even Mohammed.

I agree that God will not give any weight to actions based on doctrine’s of organized religion or politics. Organized religions and political often start with good intentions that begin to warp with the egos of the succeeding generation that tends to miss the heart of the original. It is the intractable perceptions of the next generation that attempt to find justification for the evils of culture.

I tend to be intractable when it comes to my perceptions of the Word of God. I say my perceptions, because many of my fellow “Word of Faith” or “Renewal” faithful would consider some of my thoughts heretical. Yet I am a Bible kind of guy, that holds the Judeo/Christian Bible to be the absolute Word of God. I can see some works of man as inspired, maybe even inspired by God. However I view the Bible as the only Scripture inspired by God.

I believe the Bible is inerrant, if that is blind faith so be it. It is the kind of faith the Lord Jesus has called the faith of a little child. That is the kind of blind faith I strive to achieve. I often fail but I get up and keep trying.

Life is short and eternity is forever. I don’t think old St. Peter will ask any questions. I think the Lord of glory will open the Book of Life, if your name, my name and whoever’s name is written therein; then the Blood of Christ and faith in the Redemptive Sacrifice will enable the Gate of Pearl to swing open. We will enter His Gate with praise and Thanksgiving. Death and tearfulness will be ended and the joy of the Lord will be found in everlasting union in Christ Jesus, the risen from the dead to everlasting joy.

Prison Sytem Out of Control

I have been have an email and blog conversation with Bill, a person quite philosophically different than myself. However Bill has insightful thoughts (many I disagree with and many to ponder) worth exploring. Below is a portion of our email:
-----------------
John,

I appreciate you civil and open minded conversation on gay marriage.

On another subject I thought you might be interested.

I came across this data that I think would be interesting to you. Did you know that we have a prison rate that is 14 times that of The Netherlands? (as a percent of the population)

Can you open the attached spread sheet?

This is out of control -

- we are creating a whole class of felons that are disenfranchised from the political process
- we are running crime colleges by incarcerating rather than rehabilitating
- the cost in dollars and human lives lost is phenomenal
- too many people and institutions have a vested interest in this system continuing (whether they are building prisons, are part of the criminal justice system, or are Republicans who know that black felons can not vote and thus can not vote Democratic)

Bill

Here is my response:

Sadly I agree that the prison system in America is the University of Perpetual Crime. I have first hand experience of helping family members who were incarcerated. When they came out I would try to help them find jobs to matriculate back into society. Their prison experience did zero to teach job skills.

When he could not find a job, he did what he further learned from past inmates to gain money. He went back to crime.

I am certain you have guessed I am a Republican. I personally believe the Democratic Party has re-enslaved black Americans to dependence through entitlements. I am certain if black Americans could break their dependence on the government for accomplishment they would vote Republican. Many black Americans actually have a stronger church attendance than white Americans. This means they espouse Christian morality. That frame of thought is more in line with the Christian Right of the Republican Party. So go figure.

As to convicted felons voting: I believe that right expired when found guilty of criminal behavior. Americans do not need felons voting, a felon is not a responsible citizen. However is the deal, a felon that has paid his debt to society and has overcome obstacles to lead a life valuable to society should be re-matriculated back to society. That includes the right to vote.

Alter of Democracy

An Interview with Ali Sina on Muslims in Europe
By Jarek N.
2006/02/19

Jarek N.: Dear Ali Sina: Thank you for accepting this Interview.

Sina: It is my pleasure.

Jarek Q01: You have often stated that Islam is a dangerous cult which promotes violence. Yet many Islamic scholars and officials say that this is only a misunderstanding, a bad picture of Islam made by few misguided terrorists. They say that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. In fact, the word “islam” actually means “peace” in Arabic. How can you explain this difference between their opinion and yours?

Sina: Words can mean different things to different people. It is important to understand what people mean when they use a certain word. Let’s make an example. Take the word gay. Fifty years ago, gay meant exclusively cheerfulness, lighthearted excitement, merry or bright colors. Today this word has a different meaning. You won’t call a cheerful person gay because it could be understood as something else. Just as the same word can mean different things in different times, it can also mean different things in different cultures. Islam does not mean peace. It means submission. The word “peace” for Muslims has a different meaning. Peace, according to Muslims, will be achieved when everyone submits to Islam.

Muslims can't offer peace. They can offer truce. In their minds, peace will be achieved only when you are subdued and they are the masters. Any other arrangement is not Islamic.

Recently the newly elected leaders of Hamas, who have been surprisingly honest, have spelled the concept of Islamic peace eloquently. They said that they won't give up on their quest to destroy Israel but meanwhile, as long as they are weak and realizing that such dream is not yet possible, they are willing to work out a truce, to be broken when they feel strong enough to wipe out Israel from the map and establish the "peace" as it is acceptable by Islam. Muhammad divided the world in two sectors. One he called Dar us Salam (House of Peace) and the other, Dar al Harb (House of War). All countries, where Islam is not the ruling authority, are Dar al Harb. It is the duty of the Muslims to wage Jihad in Dar al Harb, overthrow the governments and force people into submission. This is the only kind of peace that Islam recognizes.

The concept of Islamic peace is expressed in the verse 2.193 of the Quran.

And fight them until fitnah is no more, and religion is for Allah.

What is fitnah? Fitnah means sedition, perfidy or mischief. In Islamic terminology it means resisting Islam or disbelief. For example this site is fitnah.

All translators of the Quran have translated fitnah as oppression, tumult, persecution, etc. This is taqiyya. They have invariably lied to conceal the real meaning of the verse and fool the Western reader.

At the end of an article written to refute me, the author offers a prayer and asks Allah to "give all Muslims the strength to remain true to Your chosen path in the face of the fitnah inflicted upon us by the enemies of Islam." I have no means of persecution. Clearly, fitnah means disbelief and criticizing Islam and not persecution.

When we say the objective of Islam is to force people into submission, it does not mean that you'll be forced into conversion. It means that you'll become a dhimmi, a subordinate to Muslims. You work and pay the Jizyyah, an extortion fee, to the Muslims who would treat you as second class citizen. They become the master race and you, their virtual slave and the source of their livelihood. .

Narrated Juwairiya bin Qudama At-Tamimi: We said to 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, oh Chief of the believers! Advise us." He said, "I advise you to fulfill Allah's Convention (made with the Dhimmis) as it is the convention of your Prophet and the source of the livelihood of your dependents (i.e. the taxes from the Dhimmis.) " Bukhari 4, 53, 388:

The good news is that you can change your status by converting to Islam. So in a a very sarcastic sense, there is no compulsion in Islam. You convert "voluntarily". But you are free not to convert by accepting subjugation, humiliation, discrimination and constant harassment. What can be more democratic?

This meaning of "peace" is understood by all the Muslims. However they know that the non-Muslims have a different understanding of this word. So, they deceitfully promote their religion as a religion of peace taking advantage of the fact that the root of both words Islam and Salam is slm. However one means submission and the other means peace.
