Calderon named Mexico's president-elect

Mexico's version of the Supreme Court has declared Conservative candidate Felipe Calderon the official winner of the Mexican Presidential election. This is good for America (or maybe I should say at least better).

The election contest was extremely close and reminiscent of Bush/Gore in America in 2000. I would say Mexico's election was even more polarized in that the socialist leftist Obrador had a huge following. Even after the highest court in Mexico's government has named Calderon President-elect, Obrador has publicly vowed to not recognize the Calderon Presidency and block him from taking power on December 1.

That smacks of armed rebellion to me. In our system of Government the only thing that can overturn the Supreme Court is an Amendment to the Constitution or the unthinkable coup d'etat. What are Abrador’s choices and can he be successful in his threats?
