Bishop Schori does the Jesus Transgender Thing

Here is an update on homosexual validating Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori. She closed the American Episcopalian Convention with a watered down compromise on homosexual ordination. She also has done the insane!

Roman Catholic "Crunchy Con" blog on the new Leader of the Episcopal Church USA. My fellow Christians wonder and weep as you read the insanity:

The transgender JesusIf PB Schori didn't exist, you'd have to invent her. Today, addressing her flock at the last day of the ECUSA General Convention, she said, "Our mother Jesus gives birth to a new creation. And you and I are His children." This. Is. Insane. This is absolute gibberish. But you know, there is a bright side here for Episcopalians. I hadn't thought of it until I reached by phone this evening a friend of mine who is serving as a delegate. He said that his delegation was finishing dinner, and laughing about the Presiding Bishop's gender dysphoria when it came to Our Lord. He really did sound cheerful. I couldn't imagine why, knowing my friend's convictions in these matters. But he indicated to me that there is freedom in the clarity that they now have. There is freedom in knowing that the ECUSA has no place for orthodox Christians. It means, I would think, that the game-playing and pretending that the orthodox party has anything meaningful in common with people who call Jesus Christ "our Mother" has come to an end.

Is this Denomination even Christian? It might be time to classify the Episcopalian Church USA with Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses or Scientologists or OH MY GOD! Who knows what?

In the realm of terrorism, the threat to America is not just concerning dirty bombs and terror cells. It’s not just about planes flying into buildings or suicide vests. No, the threat is a lot greater than that – a solid infrastructure finely cultivated into our society, paid for, at least in part, by Saudi royalty. It was created not to promote the values of our nation, but, instead, to impose Islamic law. A large part of that infrastructure is the Council on American-Islamic Relations or CAIR. On one fine spring day this month, two institutions that we as Americans rely on – one from each of America’s coasts – gave CAIR the things that it so ardently craves and needs to survive -- cover and legitimization.

The date was June 5, 2006. A South Florida Sun-Sentinel editorial that morning, entitled ‘Muslims: Group encourages volunteer work,’ began as follows: To their great credit, many Muslim organizations in the United States have been working to counteract negative views of their religion resulting from the terrorism of Islamic extremists. One of the foremost of these groups is the Council on American-Islamic Relations…

The piece was attributed to the Sun-Sentinel Editorial Board. The Board is made up of eleven individuals, the majority of which are accomplished writers with a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the widest range of subjects. That being the case, why would this distinguished group lavish praise on such an insidious organization as CAIR?

Was the Sun-Sentinel aware of the fact that CAIR, since its inception in 1994, had lost four of its officials, all linked to al-Qaeda and/or Hamas, all of which who’ve been either convicted or deported for their crimes? Or that one of its national advisory board members, Siraj Wahhaj, found his name placed on the list of potential co-conspirators to the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center?

Did the newspaper know that, just prior to 9/11, CAIR had solicited funds for two terrorist charities related to Al-Qaeda and Hamas, the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development and the Global Relief Foundation, both shut down after 9/11?

Did the Sentinel recognize the fact that CAIR’s Executive Director, Nihad Awad, in March of 1994, had publicly stated his support for Hamas, saying that after I researched the situation inside and outside Palestine, I am in support of the Hamas movement…?

Did the paper realize that CAIR had criticized the prosecution of the spiritual leader of the ’93 bombing, Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, listing the trial as an incident of anti-Muslim bias and violence?

It seems none of this was taken into account, when the Board sat down to write its literary illusion. And anyway, it was only two weeks earlier that the Sentinel printed an op-ed written by the Executive Director of CAIR-Florida, Altaf Ali. Ali, exactly one month after 9/11, on a local radio show, derided this author for being Jewish and repeatedly refused to answer the question of whether he believed the people that perished during the 1st World Trade Center attacks were innocent. Ali’s op-ed was about Daniel Wultz, the American boy that was murdered by a suicide bomber in Israel. The attacker was from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, one of the terrorist groups that CAIR has its roots in.

The same day the Editorial Board put out its puff piece, CAIR received another unwarranted stroke of good fortune, as a representative from the FBI showed up to take part in one of the group’s events.

On June 5th, the Los Angeles chapter of CAIR sponsored a community town hall meeting at the Islamic Center of Irvine (ICOI), a mosque that propagates venomously anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rhetoric. In a Khutbah (sermon) given at the ICOI last month, entitled ‘The Abuse of a Religion to sustain a Racist State,’ the ICOI’s Director of Religious Affairs, Sadullah Khan , stated, Jews who came [to Israel] brought with them a Western arrogance… In the sermon, which is found on the ICOI website, Khan liberally quoted alleged neo-Nazi William Baker and described Zionism as racist, diabolical and sinister.

Participating at the CAIR event was CAIR-LA Executive Director Hussam Ayloush. Ayloush’s appearance at ICOI makes sense, as he, himself, has been known to exhibit an extreme hatred towards the state of Israel. According to Dr. Daniel Pipes, whom Ayloush has likened to a KKK person, he (Ayloush) has repeatedly used the term Zionazi, when discussing Israelis. He has referred to Zionism as a political ideology whose tentacles are rooted in racism, and he has stated that the violent Intifada (Uprising) that was twice perpetrated by the Palestinians against the Israelis really indicates standing up against injustice.

Ayloush has complained of the United States’ treatment of the terrorist group Hamas, who recently had members voted into power in the Palestinian territories. During a Khutbah speech he gave at the Islamic Institute of Orange County (IIOC), last May, entitled Don’t Be Pessimistic, Ayloush stated: Compare your situation to the situation of our brothers and sisters in Palestine … They were starved, they were pressured and threatened with embargo, if they don’t have democratic elections. And then, when they have the democratic elections, because we don’t like the results, now they are being starved again, embargoed and punished.

In addition, Ayloush has jumped to defend the likes of Wagdy Ghoneim, a radical Egyptian imam from IIOC. Ghoneim, who was deported from the United States, had been videotaped calling for suicide bombings and had referred to Jews, at a 1998 CAIR co-sponsored Brooklyn rally, as descendants of the apes. Ayloush lauded Ghoneim as a high ly regarded religious scholar and a worldwide, well known scholar.

Ayloush has also defended the terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay. On June 15, 2006, CAIR placed on its national website an ISLAM-OPED written by Ayloush, calling for the Guantanamo Bay prison’s closure, entitled ‘Shut Down the Gitmo Gulog.’ The next day, the article was published by the Al Jazeerah Peace Information Center, a website that acts as a propaganda machine for Hamas. In the piece, Ayloush suggests that at least some of the individuals being detained are innocent. However, according to a statement issued by the United States military just prior to the op-ed’s release, the inmates are enemy combatants being detained because they have waged war against our nation and they continue to pose a threat.

Accompanying Hussam Ayloush as a participant at the June 5th CAIR event was the Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI field office in Los Angeles, Stephen Tidwell. Tidwell, apparently, was there to quell concerns that the FBI was actively eavesdropping on local Muslims.

Like the Sun-Sentinel and its printing of Altaf Ali’s op-ed, the Los Angeles FBI had been down this road before. In fact, the L.A. FBI even created an entity, the Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee (MCAC), in which CAIR is one of the sitting members.

Did Assistant Director Tidwell, in joining the event, take into account that CAIR was created by a front for overseas terrorist organizations called the Islamic Association for Palestine (IAP), whose founders include the number two leader in Hamas today, Mousa Abu Marzook, and the former North American head of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Sami Al-Arian?
Did he understand that this front, the IAP, had been found liable for the murder of a young American boy, David Boim, whose life was taken during a Hamas terror operation in Israel?

Did Tidwell recognize that CAIR, itself, is currently the defendant in a lawsuit charging that the group played a role in the murder of former chief of the FBI’s counter-terrorism section, John O’Neill, on September 11th? One of his own. Or that Steven Pomerantz, former FBI assistant director and chief of the FBI's Counter-Terrorism Section, has stated, CAIR, its leaders, and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups?

None of the above can be disputed, yet many have chosen to ignore it. Unfortunately, those ignoring the information are also responsible for supplying us with our daily take on the news and providing us with our safety and security here at home. June 5, 2006 was indeed a great day for CAIR; but for all those that worry about the future of the United States, it will be yet another day that will live on in infamy.

Nearly five years after 9/11, we still don’t get it.

Let's Through Japan in the Mix (North Korea)

Libertarian minded CATO Institute has thoughts of action on North Korea as well:

Tightening U.S.-Japan Relationship

"Any North Korean missile launch would push Japan even closer to the United States as the officially pacifist nation tries to protect itself against self-declared nuclear power Pyongyang, analysts said," Agence France-Presse reports. "Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi has said Japan and the United States would take 'severe action' if the communist North goes ahead with reported plans to fire a Taepodong-2 ballistic missile".

In the Policy Analysis "Two Normal Countries: Rethinking the U.S.-Japan Strategic Relationship" Christopher Preble, director of Cato's foreign policy studies, writes: "The U.S.-Japan strategic relationship, formalized during the depths of the Cold War and refined during the 1980s and 1990s, continues to undergo dramatic changes. Although Japan is economically capable and now seems politically motivated to assume full responsibility for defending itself from threats, it is legally constrained from doing so under the terms of the Japanese constitution, particularly Article 9. The path to defensive self-sufficiency is also impeded by Japan's continuing dependence on the United States embodied in the U.S.-Japan security alliance.

"With the United States struggling to meet military commitments abroad, and with Japan increasingly asserting military autonomy, American policymakers must shape a new policy that will more equitably distribute security burdens between the two countries. Three recent instances in which the United States and Japan have worked together on matters of mutual interest -- Iraq, Taiwan, and North Korea -- offer useful clues as to how a cooperative strategic relationship might operate in the future."

CATO is implying contradictory messages: 1) Japan needs to assert a greater share in counter-acting the belligerence of North Korea (and the reassertion of China for that matter). 2) Continue to look for diplomatic solutions to nuclear threats

I think the former is a call to take more responsible for the defense of their land which is consistent with Libertarian thinking. The later is a call to exert unified multilateral pressure on the likes of North Korea (and China).

The former is certainly viable. The later is already a proven failure.

It is fascinating to think on this. ASIA's politics is beginning to affect geo-political alignments globally. America is flirting with India as a counter weight to China and Islamofascism. Many are beginning to call for Japan, South Korea and Taiwan to pull some of their own weight militarily. It is all ASIA.

What to Do about North Korea

Newt Gingrich is beginning to talk like a Presidential candidate contender. He is absolutely correct: Diplomacy has failed in North Korea. North Korea is becoming an example to rogue nation such as Iran: If you thumb your nose, talk tough and stall with sugar coated candy words, you can do whatever you wish globally. That means hang the common good of the sane people living in sane nations. I know it is cliché, but is certainly sounds like the Hitler Nazi tap dance of the 1930's (read a history book).

Newt suggests America take action. The action: destroy the North Korean missile before the test launched. I agree! Take action! Use the technology we have developed to show we mean business.

India: America’s New Strategic Partner?

The essayist Ashton B. Carter has links to the Clinton Administration of old being a former Assistant Secretary of Defense thereof. I therefore realize that that his analysis of the "India Deal" is a bit slanted toward a Democratic Party stance.

On saying that and upon reading the essay, I have to admit his points are remarkably balanced. After examining all the negatives that might occur with validating India as a nuclear power and potential partner, the ultimate conclusion is that India is a necessary gamble to take in the emerging geo-political international politics.

President Musharraf of Pakistan was a welcome ally in the war against the Taliban of Afghanistan and the search of bin Laden. Unfortunately bin Laden has not been located. Musharraf's continued support for America is not popular among a huge portion of his Mohammedan population. Pakistan is a military regime as opposed to a democratic regime, which is typical of Mohammedan nations. It is foreseeable that Musharraf could be deposed in favor of a regime more in line with the Mohammedan hatred for things America.

If Musharraf were to be deposed, Pakistan would be a hostile nuke WMD nation toward American national interests. Instead of being a partner in the war on terrorism, Pakistan could easily turn and be an enemy.

India is a stable democratic regime. Although India's national interests have not been eye to eye with American national interests, emerging geopolitical signs will make America and India likely partners by default. India is a natural enemy of Islamofascism and also of Communist China.

China has been arming and bringing sophisticating to its military for some time. Again, that makes India a natural ally with America. India and America will be wed because of aligning mutual interests.
Congress needs to realize the future and embrace a partnership with India and abandon the few negative implications the present may portend. India is in America's future and that future will benefit both nations.

How about these pungent points:

• No liberal cause is defended with more dishonesty than abortion. No matter what else they pretend to care about from time to time undermining national security, aiding terrorists, oppressing the middle class, freeing violent criminals the single most important item on the Democrats' agenda is abortion. Indeed, abortion is the one issue the Democratic Party is willing to go to war over except in the Muslim world, which is jam-packed with prohibitions on abortion, but going to war against a Muslim nation might also serve America's national security objectives. Liberals don't care about women. They care about destroying human life. To them, 2,200 military deaths in the entire course of a war in Iraq is unconscionable, but 1.3 million aborted babies in America every year is something to celebrate.
  
• Frederica A. Massiah-Jackson of the Philadelphia Common Pleas Court was known for shouting obscenities from the bench and identifying undercover policemen in open court. Bill Clinton nominated Massiah-Jackson to be a federal district court judge in 1997. Among other notable rulings, Judge Massiah-Jackson sentenced the brutal rapist of a 10-year-old girl to the statutory minimum and apologized to the rapist, saying: "I just don't think the five to 10 years is appropriate in this case even assuming you were found guilty." She refused to allow the district attorney to present a pre-sentence report or victim impact statement, saying: "What would be the point of that?" After his release, the defendant was rearrested for raping a 9-year-old boy.
  
• Massiah-Jackson wasn't some random nut nominated by Clinton by accident, like Janet Reno or Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a liberal heroine. The New York Times was in high dudgeon when Massiah-Jackson withdrew and not because Massiah-Jackson had sneered at AIDS victims and rape victims. ... The Times was in a snit because of the "judicial mugging" the Senate had put her through. Massiah-Jackson, the Times said, "now returns to the state bench, battered but with her honor intact. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of the Senate."
  
• Liberals were afraid of a book that told the truth about IQ ("The Bell Curve") because they are godless secularists who do not believe humans are in God's image. Christians have no fear of hearing facts about genetic differences in IQ because we don't think humans are special because they are smart. There may be some advantages to being intelligent, but a lot of liberals appear to have high IQs, so, really, what's the point? After Hitler carried the secularists' philosophy to its grisly conclusion, liberals are terrified of making any comment that seems to acknowledge that there are any differences among groups of people especially racial groups. It's difficult to have a simple conversation much less engage in free-ranging, open scientific inquiry when liberals are constantly rushing in with their rule book about what can and cannot be said.
  
• While gays were being decimated by the AIDS virus, U.S. Surgeon General C. Everett Koop was more interested in not "stigmatizing" them than in saving their lives. See, where I come from, being dead also carries a certain type of stigma. Instead of distributing condoms in gay bars and at productions of the play "Rent," where they might have done some good, Koop insisted on distributing condoms in kindergarten classes, to emphasize the point that AIDS does not discriminate, which it does.
  
• In 1987, New York Times reporter Maureen Dowd before she was elevated to the cartoon pages wrote a heroic portrait of the man. Dr. Koop, she said "fiercely wants to strip AIDS of its stigma," and for that reason, he talks "about making an animated educational video that would feature two condoms 'with little eyes on them' chatting, and about the need for 'gentle, nonmystifying' sex education for students, starting in kindergarten." I would pay quite a bit of money to hear someone describe anal sex oh hell, make it any kind of sodomy to a 5-year-old in a gentle, nonmystifying way.
