Afghanistan Strategy?

I am more than likely not too popular with Leftists and centrists: I firmly believe there is only one way to win the theatre of war in Afghanistan. America needs a WWII mentality to do whatever it takes to win a war even if civilians (who more than likely support their leaders) are harmed in collateral damage. Now it is obvious that eight years of war fighting non-national entities that are transnational terrorists is a bit too long to go without a decisive crippling of the enemy.

Carpet bombing of training camps and terrorist managed opium fields used to generate narco-bucks needs to take place. Then one may ask: “What about the Tora Bora cave system that is used as an effective terrorist hideout for the Taliban and al Qaeda?” It is time to use surgical nuclear strikes equal to a little lesser than the Atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That’s correct. I said the politically incorrect of nukes. Also I am not just speaking of the mountains of Afghanistan but also the mountains and training camps of Pakistan.

Will Pakistan protest? More than likely that would be the case. Will Pakistan use its nuke arsenal in retaliation against American in Afghanistan or Iraq? A Pakistani nuke reprisal would be a foolish strategy since America is capable of blowing our erstwhile ally off the map. The old Cold War Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) is something the Pakistan military would comprehend (unlike the Mullah-Messianic dictatorship of Iran).

The Pakistan Nuclear Threat

Pakistan is a problem for rational nations who wish to prevent the horror of a potential nuclear war. One or the big worries is the obvious sympathy for Islamic terrorists inherent within elements of the Pakistani government.

Pakistan has repeatedly assured the U.S. that their nuclear arsenal is secure from foreign attack. My concern is still the inter-government sympathy for radical Islamic terrorists could transform Pakistan’s government of today to a radical regime with a radical Islamic vision of reform-purification back to the example of the days Mohammed conquered, pillaged, enslaved (including sex-slaves) and exploited those who chose not to convert to Mohammed’s bloody Allah.

The Islamic terrorist reality has to be re-examined as a radical Islamic tool to threaten the Pakistani nuclear arsenal. Not widely reported is how close Islamic terrorists have come to infiltrating Pakistan’s nuclear stockpile of WMD’s and nuclear facilities as well.

The Times of India reports on just how close Islamic terrorists have come to Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal. If the attacks were more successful I speculate that a button pushing Muslim could manipulate an explosion or a launch not sanctioned by the (most of) Pakistani government. A nuclear war could commence and a missile not even pointing to American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq in which the majority population is Muslim. A strike into nuclear armed India (the hated enemy of all Pakistani Muslims) would certainly initiate retaliation regardless if a rogue launch occurred not initiated by the Pakistan government. With that in mind you can use your imagination of how a Pakistan/India conflict would ignite Muslim nations, Russia, China and no doubt the United States of America into global conflict.

Pelosi: Liar, Stupid or Both

There is ONE WORD for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi – LIAR.

Contrary to a whole host of contradicting reports that Pelosi was indeed privy to “waterboarding” as enhanced interrogation techniques – EIT - (Most Republicans). Now that the Obama Administration and most Leftist Democrats have labeled waterboarding as torture, there has been a huge Leftist push to investigate the Bush Administration and the Intelligence Community concerning EIT.

I am willing to bet this Leftist push to fry the Bush Administration for keeping America safe will suddenly cool off. Why? The reason is an actual investigation will prove that Pelosi is a liar. That would mean one of the most powerful persons in America could be subject to a scandal that would do huge damage to the Democratic Party as the so-called Party of change.

As long as Pelosi is adamant that she was too stupid to understand what the of EIT is, I am fairly certain there will be no push from the House leadership in some kind of tawdry investigation of the Bush Administration keeping America safe.

Read the AP article that comes across as sympathetic toward liar – I mean Speaker - Pelosi.

This has all the appearance that Speaker Pelosi is going to take on the CIA. So somebody is lying – either the CIA or Pelosi. Since I never trust a Democrat, I suspect Pelosi is lying. If Pelosi is lying she can say publicly “I want those documents made public” and hope the CIA will not release classified data to protect their position.

I am guessing the CIA is doing some research and may pick & choose documents that make the CIA look good and infer that Pelosi is incompetent (or we could say a stupid liar).

She chastised reporters for falling for the Republicans’ political machinations and deflecting attention from their misdeeds. To clear the air, Pelosi said, “I’d be very happy if they released the briefings.”

And that is the only way this matter can be cleared up. A lot of documents should be declassified, including the briefing Pelosi cites. Either the CIA withheld information from Pelosi et al., or Pelosi is now lying. Either way, the briefing should be released.

While they are at it, all of the memos that deal with this topic should be released. Let’s see the intelligence on what al Qaeda was up to and what intelligence, precisely, came out of the interrogations of senior al Qaeda terrorists.

Yeah baby, it is doubtful America’s chief spooks is going to allow Pelosi to malign them since there is an appearance the CIA tried to malign President Bush’s effort to invade Iraq.

Keep in mind that if Pelosi is leaning toward stupid rather than liar (I believe she is both), you have to know as Speaker of the House Pelosi is third in line if something horrible happens to the President and Vice President. This makes Pelosi one of the power elite in America. Does America want a stupid and/or liar to have such power?

BHO Surrender will Lead to Islamic Attack in America

President Barack Hussein Obama – in effect – has surrendered to Islamic terrorists by declaring an end to the Global War on Terror (GWOT).

As this news spreads to transnational Islamic terrorists I expect swooning intoxication of blood lust for the kafir for these Islamic nut jobs will view President Obama’s surrender as a Jihad victory.

The Leftist reviled former President Bush protected an attack on American soil since the cowardly al-Qaeda sneak attack of September 11, 2001.

There is evidence that transnational Islamic terrorists have not given up on the idea of attacking the American Homeland, they have merely been thwarted.

After the Obama surrender, expect an attack sooner than later.

A ‘dirty bomb’ is a possibility however a bio weapon is probably easier and my guess is to potentially take out more Americans than 9/11.

He hired Ukrainian and Russian experts to train his people and, according to then-CIA director George Tenet, bin Laden trained his operatives “…to conduct attacks with toxic chemicals or biological toxins.”The group’s biological weapons expert, Midhat Mursi al-Sayid Umar, who was reportedly killed by a US missile in 2008, published a 5,000-page encyclopedia of jihad devoted to chemical biological warfare (CBW). Al-Sayid’s manual, which is available in print and on the Internet, provides instructions on how to manufacture rudimentary biological weapons.The availability of al-Sayid’s CBW cookbook makes it possible for independent jihadist cells like the AQIM to attempt to manufacture rudimentary biological weapons. Does a Northern Front Appear Immanent for Israel?

The Jamestown Foundation – Global Terrorism Analysis division – believes there is a potential for escalated warfare in Israel’s future. These thoughts are directly related to sporadic yet continuing missile launches into Israel from Southern Lebanon.

The Jamestown Foundation explores all the angles that might result in Israel beginning a second front against Islamic terrorists bent on destroying Israel. That exploration makes their essay a good read.

Just as a teaser: the logical missile launching Islamic culprits would seem to fall on Shi’ite Hezbollah; however Hezbollah has not accepted the credit and Lebanonese government officials also say it is not Hezbollah. The working theory implied is that Sunni Islamic murderers representing Arabs calling themselves Palestinians may be stirring Israel up to confront Shi’ite Hezbollah. Apparently the radical Sunni Islamic terrorists of Southern Lebanon despise the bigger and stronger Shi’ite Hezbollah as Islamic heretics.

Coupling the Sunni/Shia animosity is that the transnational terrorist organization al-Qaeda has called on Islam (i.e. Sunni) to rise up against Israel. This rising up includes criticism for Egypt and Jordan for not invading Israel; ergo the Sunni citizens of those dis-respective nations should rise up against their governments for being in collusion with Israel and the USA.

Although the Jamestown Foundation has a banner declaring itself a neutral source of information and analysis, I detected a hint of a pro-Palestinian victimization while there seemed to be a de-emphasis of Israeli Victimology.

Still the analysis is very compelling and a good read.

Religious Pakistani Incited Mumbai Islamic Attack

The heads up is about the Islamic terrorists that murdered and some cases tortured non-Muslims in Mumbai were sent from Pakistan. India has requested Pakistan give up the Islamic leadership. So far there has been no compliance from Pakistan.

Islamic Terrorists Favor Obama Victory on Nov. 4

Do you remember 9/11? Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats have been trying real hard to make YOU the American forget 9/11.

You see thing is Osama bin Laden may be the only Islamic terrorist to attack American soil BUT his al Qaeda is not the only Islamic terrorist organization to attack American citizens, American military assets and American diplomatic assets.

The Dems have forgotten that most of them agreed with this portion of a speech given by President Bush on September 15, 2008:

“Those who make war against the United States have chosen their own destruction. Victory against terrorism will not take place in a single battle, but in a series of decisive actions against terrorist organizations and those who harbor and support them.”

The Dems have been trying to sell voters that Afghanistan and chasing bin Laden is the only thing America should be acting against global terrorism. The thing that Bush understood in 2001 (yet even his memory slowly faded) is that al Qaeda is not the only Islamofascist organization intent on harming America. In addition multiple Middle Eastern nations (including the Palestine Authority) harbor(ed) Islamic terrorists.

When the Dems (and some Republicans) realized that going after terrorists wherever harbored could mean not only the perpetrator of 9/11 in the hinterland of Afghanistan and Pakistan. It would mean oil rich Iraq, Libya, Iran and politically sensitive Syria, Lebanon and the Palestine Authority. This also includes the Mohammedan oil billionaires of Saudi Arabia and the oil rich Emirates of the Saudi Peninsula who have financed Islamic terrorists. Then there are also militarily powerful nations such as Egypt and Pakistan that harbor or tolerate Islamic terrorists and sympathizers.

When these cowards realized that ending Islamic terrorism against America would have a greater international impact with economic friends who are Arab lovers like Western Europe, Russia and China; then pressure was placed on Bush to curtail on the “those who harbor and support.”

When Bush gradually gave in to this pressure the Bush Doctrine began its demise and the handling of the post invasion of Iraq became mishandled.

Not only has the Bush Administration totally abandoned the “those who harbor and support,” but that Administration has become the primary impetus to deal with Islamic terrorists in the misnamed land known as Palestine to create a sovereign nation of murdering terrorists.

If Barack Hussein Obama wins the November 4th election, it will please so-called Palestinian Arabs who actually sent money to the Obama campaign and have publicly relished the idea that the Republican are favored to loose to BHO.

What does that mean? It means Republicans still represent a crowd who wants victory while the Islamic terrorists believe Barack Hussein Obama will weaken America.

It is not just murdering terrorists attempting to establish a terrorist State known as Palestine, but now the other Islamic terrorists recognize a BHO victory will be a plus for their cause to of Islamicizing dar al-harb.

Musharraf Resigns, What Will Follow?

Pervez Musharraf has resigned before an impending impeachment proceedings in Pakistan’s Parliament.

Essentially Musharraf has been a go-between between America’s interest in prosecuting the Global War on Terror and the Islamists inside Pakistan that support the Taliban and al Qaeda, the two transnational terrorist organization in collusion for the attack on American soil.

So America, step back and take a breath. A democratically elected government in Pakistan could very possibly be an Islamist government. Imagine that! A Sunni Islamist Nuclear Power very near to an emerging nuclear power of Shi’ite Islamist Iran. How is that going to work out?

Is there enough hatred between Sunnis and Shi’ites to offset each other? Or will the Islamist hatred for Israel and America dissolve Sunni/Shi’ite differences to lead to an American/Israeli confrontation with a potential Islamist united front of Pakistan and Iran?

If the Sunni/Shi’ite bridge cannot be built, how would a democratically elected Islamist Pakistan government interact with America?

Is Pakistan Shifting to Radical Islam?

I just this headline from the Long War Journal: Pakistan signs peace accord in Orakzai tribal agency.

What is in a name? Well when you read Orakzai tribal agency, you might as well be reading Mohammedan tribes in Pakistan that support or are part of the Taliban. Yep, that is the same Taliban that hosted Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Yep, that is the same al Qaeda responsible for a radical Islamic attack on American soil that killed and injured thousands of American citizens.

I don’t know the appearance you view in this peace accord; however I see Pakistan creating a wider gulf for al Qaeda and the Taliban to cross the Afghan/Pakistan border to shoot at American troops, terrorize anti-Taliban Sheiks and propagandize Afghan citizens to join the Taliban/al Qaeda cause. Add to this that Pakistan has let America know that it will not allow military strikes within Pakistan boarders targeting the enemy responsible for the murder of thousands of non-military American citizens.

I see this as the Pakistan government either caving in to the designs of the theo-political radical Islam of the Taliban and al Qaeda or covertly (i.e. unofficially) beginning to side with the radical Islamic agenda.

Either way Americans have to understand a Mohammedan nation with nuclear WMD is in one way or another allowing or joining the Taliban/al Qaeda murdering transnational terrorist circle.

This makes handling Iran’s arrogant hubris vital to deal with. An American supported Israeli strike on Iran should occur. See how Iran responds: If Iran truly does what it has claimed it would; then bomb the military infrastructure out of existence. If Iran backs down, then pursue with great clarity the dismantling of Iran’s nuke program.

This will signal the Pakistan government the seriousness of America’s commitment to terminate terrorists in foreign lands thus swaying the anti-radical Islamic elements in their government to overshadow the pro-radical Islamic elements.

Israel Blamed for Trying to Derail the Hamas/Gaza Truce

Unofficially Hamas has agreed to an Egyptian brokered truce with Israel. I personally suspect Mohammedan Taqiyya (deception) either to rearm or the fear that Israel was one straw from breaking the camel’s back to militarily enter Gaza with extreme prejudice to end the rocket launches into Israel.

One thing of note: Once again the Yahoo News story which was an AP Wire release, amazingly make Israel the bad guy for the tension between Israel and Hamas controlled Gaza.

Check out these quotes from the Yahoo/AP article:

In a last-minute jolt, Israeli aircraft attacked three targets in the southern Gaza Strip. One of the airstrikes destroyed a car, killing six militants inside.

AP Writer Ibrahim Barzak gives the impression that just as a truce is struck Israel sends war planes to southern Gaza to kill “militants.” Also the impression is given that Israel executed the attacks to “derail” the truce but noble Hamas was going to honor the truce this time anyway.

To give Barzak a little credit he makes a feeble effort to explain the whole issue of Israeli attacks in Gaza; however he still leaves out the truth of the Israeli air strikes.

Gaza militants have been bombarding southern Israel with rockets and mortars for seven years. The rate of fire increased after Israel pulled its troops and settlers out of Gaza in 2005 and stepped up further last year after Hamas wrested power from forces loyal to moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

Again using the word sanitized word “militants,” Barzak writes that the hated filled murdering terrorists have been sending rockets and mortars into Southern Israel. Hence Barzak feebly explains the long term basis for Israeli reprisals but no explanation for the last attack.

Israel has responded with pinpoint air and ground attacks that have killed hundreds of Palestinians, many of them civilians. It has also imposed a strict blockade on Gaza, letting in only limited amounts of humanitarian aid, restricting fuel supplies and widening already rampant unemployment. Ending the economic sanctions by opening Gaza's crossings with Israel and Egypt has been a major Hamas demand in the cease-fire talks.

Barzak continues to demonize Israel by the Israel air attacks have been “pinpoint.” The demonization is made complete with Barzak’s pro-Arab news by saying the Israeli attacks have killed hundreds of Palestinians of which “many of them” were civilians. Thus the word “Palestinians” is a sanitized code for Jew hating terrorists and “civilians” implies innocent by-standers.

What a bunch of pro-Arab Left Wing propagandized half truths!

The “militants” and “Palestinians” spoken of are Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists which have the sole aim of destroying Israel. The Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets have been Israeli civilians. Israeli targets are Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist murdering operatives and leadership that often encircle their self with women and children that are used as human shields. When the human shields die Hamas and Islamic Jihad use it as propaganda that innocent Arabs that call themselves Palestinians were killed by Israeli military expedition.

Indeed the terrorists killed in the Israeli airstrike were Islamic Jihad terrorists and one al Qaeda associate that were involved in a recent missile strike in Israel (reporting the initial Israeli air strike).

Hmm ... al Qaeda! Isn't that the transnational terrorist organization that turned the Twin Towers into a pile of rubble killing innocent Americans on American soil?

The Israeli government is correctly mistrusting of the Hamas agreed truce but feels politically backed into a corner to stop the murdering terrorist missile launches against Israeli civilians.

Fighting Global Islamist Ideology the Key to War on Terror

The American Congress for Truth emailed a summary of Steven Emerson’s testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. The email is dated April 14 the reposted article is dated April 10, 2008 from the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT).

Emerson writes that al-Qaeda has regained strength thanks to safe havens in Pakistan. He also touches on his astonishment (and mine and should be all Americans) of the government use of Mohammedan-American organizations that have links to terrorism abroad.

Also Emerson touches on the nefariousness of the behind the scenes support of Islamist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood.

So the Lefties don’t think there is a Global War on Terror that is an illusion of G.W. Bush and Conservative War Hawks.

Let us examine some DOCUMENTED facts.

Now these facts are not all inclusive, there will probably be some that I have missed. Nonetheless the acts of Islamist Terrorism committed on Americans or American assets are well documented.

August 1982: Palestinian terrorist Mohammad Rashid is responsible for a bomb on a Pan Am flight from Honolulu, HI. One person died and several others are injured.

April 1983: Radical Shiite Muslim group takes credit for killing 63 on an attack on U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The mode of death is a homicidal suicide car bomb.

October 1983: 241 United States Marines murdered in their barracks by Hezbollah (Lebanonese Party of God) in Beirut, Lebanon by a bomb.

December 1983: Pro-Iranian terrorists kill six and injure others with a homicidal suicide truck bomb attack on the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

September 1984: Islamic Jihad kills 16 at an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon.

June 1985: Hezbollah hijacks TWA Flight 847 and takes it to Beirut and kills one American.

October 1985: Cruise ship Achille Lauro is hijacked off of Egyptian coast by Palestine Liberation Front. One 69 year old American in a wheel chair is murdered and thrown overboard.

November 1985: Egypt Air Flight 648 is hijacked by Abu Nidal's Arab Revolutionary Command and 60 are murdered. Iraq’s Saddam Hussein and Libya’s Moamar Qaddafi is named in an international Law Suit.

April 1986: A Rome to Athens TWA flight was bombed by Mohammed Rashid, Palestinian terrorist, members of Iraqi backed May 15 organization. Four are murdered.

February 1988: Hezbollah kidnaps and EXECUTES a U.S. Marine in Southern Lebanon.

December 1988: Lockerbie, Scotland, Pan Am flight 103 is bombed by Libyan Intelligence agents murdering 270. Of the deaths 189 were Americans.

Feb 26 1993: The first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center occurs. Osama bin Laden is thought to have ordered the attack and the master mind Ramzi Ahmed Yousef is convicted for the attack to 240 plus years in prison.

March 1995: Two diplomats from the Karachi, Pakistan U.S. Embassy are murdered in retaliation of the convictions surrounding the 1983 attack on the World Trade Center.

The last target was suspected to be the White House but we will never know for the heroes of United Airlines Flight 93 rebelled enough that the jet crashed in Pennsylvania. This Time Line roughly measures 19 years of attacks by murdering Islamist transnational terrorist organizations on America culminating with 9/11 when a President finally got fed up and decided to take the fight to the terrorists.

The problem being though is that President Bush could not get enough support to attack all the transnational terrorists in the Middle East because of Leftists in Europe and at home as well as big oil trading with China and Russia.

Dear God in Heaven the Leftists in this country are saying there is no Global War on Terrorism connection with Iraq.

Geez wake up! In the time line there is direct evidence of Saddam’s complicity with funding terrorist acts against American Assets. Let’s look at some more Hussein/Iraqi intent on America.

Hello! Democrats of power in Congress viewed the very same Intelligence information that President Bush did concurring Saddam Hussein must be removed from a position that definitely harmed American National Interests.

Evidence shows that Bush did not deceive Congress as the Leftists are saying (for election purposes by the way) for the viewed the same Intelligence evidence. The only valid criticism of President Bush is that he wanted a pre-emptive strike on Iraq before psycho Saddam stockpiled enough chemical or nuclear WMD based on the projection of the Intelligence reports. It turns out the Intelligence Reports were way off on the Iraqi capability of serious WMD, especially the Nukes.

Although the Chemical WMD was not near as big as the Intelligence community projected, it was there. It can be shown that what was left of Saddam’s Chemical WMD was smuggled to Syria or Russia.

Some Lefties might say: Saddam is deposed, why waste American lives on Iraqis that are killing themselves?

One reason is of the little reported Iraqi Awakening. This is a movement in which Iraqis are growing weary of al Qaeda terrorism. Local Iraqi Sunnis that were with al Qaeda are leaving the transnational terrorist organization in droves forming local militias that aid the Iraq Military and the American Military hunt down al Qaeda. Places in Baghdad and Anbar Province (once havens for Terror cells) are informing on al Qaeda and have become places that people can walk down the streets in substantial relative peace. The Iraqi Awakening is even leading these militia members to join the Iraqi Military as recruits under American Military training.

Even the Shi’ites has joined the Iraqi Awakening. Many Shi’ites are leaving the pro-Iranian Mahdi Army operated by cleric Muqtada al-Sadr to also find some local peace. And of course the Kurds of the Northern Iraq have always been pro-American. The so-called insidious Iraqi civil war appears to be evaporating at a steady pace due to the American Military Surge.

Does anyone see how absurd it would be to pull out of Iraq now? Now that tribal coalitions are forming against foreign terrorist insurgents it would be the height of stupidity to leave Iraq now.

Let’s look at an analogy. World War II ended in 1945, in case Left Wing school teachers failed to teach you that fact. My point: There has been a significant American Military presence still in Germany and Japan for a war that ended 63 years ago. The Communist Chinese came to the aid of a collapsing North Korea during the Korean War and battled America to a stalemate dividing Korea into North and South Korea. In 1953 hostilities ended between North and South Korea. There is still an American Military presence in South Korea. That is 55 years after hostilities ended between North and South Korea.

As a significant victory is in America’s and the new Iraqi government’s grasp, the Dems want to pull and say defeat when the American Military is nearing the edge of victory in Iraq.

UBL’s Call to depose Musharraf Could Lead to Global Chaos

Well have you heard the latest Islamofascist tiff? Usama bin Laden is calling President Musharraf of Pakistan an infidel thereby reasoning that Pakistan should rise up and revolt against him.

Now here is the thing. I can just imagine all the pro-Arab experts saying I told so, Musharraf’s regime as an ally to America is hanging by a thread and it may collapse placing nuclear arms into Islamofascist hands.

Maybe; however that is a worse case scenario. There is another extreme possibility. The other Arab Kingdoms and Dictatorships fearing a UBL led nuclear armed Wahhabi Pakistan and a nuclear arming radical Twelver Shia Iran might be the card played that may topple their autocratic gigs.

I can see the Saudi’s, Jordanians, the more capitalistic oil Saudi Peninsula Sheikdoms and Egypt (O yes Egypt) taking a cooperative stand against internal Wahhabis and Muslim Brotherhood factions and weighing in with support for Musharraf.

Again Iraq becomes the wild card. Why? The reason is because of its divided nature of Sunni, Kurd and Shia not piecing together as a hoped for uniform puzzle.

A not much talked about is a still powerful Turkey, the remnant of the last Muslim Empire to terrorize the globe with Mohammedanism.

Turkey figures in because Ataturk’s secular revolution that booted out its last Emperor and terminated the Caliphate will have to choose sides. You would think it would be a no-brainer that Turkey would line up with an American led Arab coalition against Islamofascists; however Turkey has two considerations:

1. The hated Kurds trying to establish an independent nation of the current Northern Iraq.

2. The modern electoral process has placed an Islamist head of government in secular Turkey. If he calls the shots on foreign relations, at best Turkey would stay out the conflict at worst Turkey would help the coalescing Sunni/Shia (i.e. a Wahhabi-Taliban ruled Pakistan if Musharraf cannot hold on and the Twelver Shias of Iran).

To complicate the reading of Turkey’s direction further, the Turkish generals have not hesitated in the past to boot out an elected leader if he did not comply to the beloved Ataturk secular revolution.

You might say a Wahhabi-Taliban terrorist will not get along with an Iranian radical Shia nation because the hatred between the two sects has existed since the assassination of Mohammed’s nephew (and I think son-in-law by marriage). The irony is Iran has been playing the enemy of my enemy is my friend game.

Iran has openly aided al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan (even protecting some al Qaeda elites and UBL’s family). Plus Iran has been training Sunni Hamas the official offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt.

Here is another chaotic scenario to add: Certainly the Saudi royals will line up with America because the West pays them the money for their oil to make the royals ridiculously wealthy. However a significant amount of the royals and wealthy Saudi elites only give lip service to the Wahhabi dominating school of the Saudi Peninsula by providing money for the Wahhabi leadership. BUT the Saudi government leadership is socially Western outside the borders of Saudi Arabia.

A prince of a Saudi bloodline that has totally conformed to the Wahhabi way may be developed as a usurper of the throne by the typical Mohammedan way of securing power: killing all the rivals to power.

If that scenario was permitted to occur then a huge mess could begin that might last years or seconds depending if a button pushing Islamist finds a nuclear arsenal.

And that is just the intra-regional conflict.

Due to the entire world running on oil; I guarantee China and Russia will decide what benefits their respective national interests and may line up with the Islamists for a trade guarantee of oil for weaponry.

O did I mention that Hindu dominated India is a nuclear power as well. India has been cozy with Russia and contemptuous of China; however I strongly suspect Hindu India will align with the faction (i.e. Western coalition led Arabs) that prevents the hated Muslims from gaining a toe hold on India’s land. There is much bad blood between Hindus and Muslims that actually may make the Jewish/Muslim conflict look like a picnic.

Conquering Mohammedans would slaughter and torture Hindus until they realized it was more profitable to enslave them with humiliation (contrary to their Quran). Thus the Muslim Mughal Empire of Northern India humiliated Hindus until the British came along. That was a long time!

Jews and Christians humiliated for their faith under conquering Muslims; however in the Quran they were named as people of the book. That meant according to the Muslim Scriptures Jews and Christians had three choices of lifestyle after conquest: Conversion to Islam, substandard humiliating no rights as dhimmi paying a jizya tax, or death.

The Hindus are considered polytheists; therefore their only (initial) choices were conversion or death.

Now this has been a very simplistic run down of what the fuse lit by UBL could do calling for a revolution in Pakistan and naming U.S. ally Musharraf an apostate. I am certain someone with more expertise could add to the complexity of developing scenarios in the Middle East and the interconnectedness of a globalized economy; nonetheless I am also certain you get the picture of what is impending. And take note: As the Middle East conflagrates in conflict, who lines up with whom is far from etched in stone. The National Interests of the moment will form the puzzle of who sides with whom in the greater scheme of the clear mutual enemies.

M15, Britain’s intelligence agency reported that the London and Glascow car bomb sleeper cell suspects were all affluent physicians and outstanding professionals selectively recruited years ago to be part of an organized clandestine terror plot to work undercover in British hospitals. Dr. Asha Mohammed, a brilliant neurosurgeon, is the suspected ringleader of an al Qaeda cell with up to 12 members, including six doctors, medicals students and hospital workers.

However grotesque and unbelievable the thought that those who practice the compassionate art of healing have been true believers on an undercover religious mission to kill innocent people, it’s not enough to wake up Washington to the evil of the radical Islamic enemy of Western Civilization. The fog on Capitol Hill grows thicker as Congressional Democrats pound the drums to end the war in Iraq and spineless Republicans cave in one by one. In order to overturn a likely veto by the President of any bill that would support a retreat or withdrawal of funding, one third of Senate Republicans would have to vote to support the bill.

July 9th, the date when the Senate reconvenes, will be the moment of truth. Sadly, according to a news story in the New York Sun, it looks likely that the Congressional Republicans will be swayed. John Podesta, CEO of the Center for American Progress, discussing the relentless efforts to sway Republicans to retreat from Iraq said, “You just listen to the voice on the Republican side. They are nervous and looking for alternatives.”

Already the top Republican on the Foreign Relations Committee, Senator Richard Lugar is calling for troop withdrawals repeating the falsehood that the troop surge is not working. The next day, panic stricken Republican Senator George Voinovich joined him in disgrace and as many as 15 others who wont support the surge may follow suit.

Before the Senate reconvenes on Monday, I would urge them over the weekend to read an article by Steve Schippert, co-founder of the Center for Threat Awareness, about the white elephant in the middle of the room. It’s a real elephant that everyone is avoiding, because it’s just too damn terrifyingly true. It’s the question of the deteriorating state of Pakistan, the ultimate fall of our ally President Musharraf sooner or later, and the rise of the new epicenter of al Qaeda and the Taliban in a regional Islamic alliance with Iran and certainly Iraq if we withdraw too soon. It’s time we recall the uncomfortable scenario that Pakistan already has nuclear weapons. Read this article before you end the war on Monday!

Iran, the Supplier of Sunni and Shi’ite Terrorists in the Middle East

Shi’ite Iran and Wahhabi Sunni Taliban have been fierce enemies in the past, so much so that Iran did not complain when America invaded Afghanistan to topple the Taliban regime and it Stateless ally al-Qaeda.

Apparently the deep hatred Sunni and Shi’ites have had for centuries has transformed by mutual hatred of the United States. There have been major indicators that Iran has been supplying weapons and supplies to the Taliban hiding in the Afghan mountains enabling them to be a continuous threat to the anti-Taliban government and American/coalition forces trying to secure Afghanistan.

So here is the picture: Iran says that Israel will soon be wiped off the map; Iran trains and supplies terrorists Hamas (Sunnis in the Gaza), Islamic Jihad (Shi’ites in Gaza) and Hezbollah (Shi’ites in Lebanon); Iran has made mutual defense pacts with Syria and Sudan; Iran has trained and anti-American militant Shi’ites in Iraq; Iran as stated above is aiding the Taliban AND I would say it is a pretty good guess that NOW Iran is aiding al-Qaeda in some form or fashion. This is a bleak picture for Middle Eastern peace particularly as it affects the National Interests of America and Israel.

I must note that these Sunni/Shi’ite alliances are tenable. There mutual hatred could blow up into a division followed by unification due to a perceived American threat. It is quite complicated on who are enemies and friends at any given moment. The only thing that seems to be linear is both Wahhabi and Shi’ite schools of thought desiring a return to medieval harsh Sharia Law, it is only the interpretation that separates the sects and an American ideology of democratic Liberty and an American military presence that unites them.

Document: Iran Caught Red-Handed Shipping Arms to Taliban

NATO officials say they have caught Iran red-handed, shipping heavy arms, C4 explosives and advanced roadside bombs to the Taliban for use against NATO forces, in what the officials say is a dramatic escalation of Iran's proxy war against the United States and Great Britain.

"It is inconceivable that it is anyone other than the Iranian government that's doing it," said former White House counterterrorism official Richard Clarke, an ABC News consultant.

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates stopped short earlier this week of blaming Iran, saying the U.S. did not have evidence "of the involvement of the Iranian government in support of the Taliban."

But an analysis by a senior coalition official, obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com, concludes there is clear evidence of Iran's involvement.

"This is part of a considered policy," says the analysis, "rather than the result of low-level corruption and weapons smuggling."

Iran and the Taliban had been fierce enemies when the Taliban was in power in Afghanistan, and their apparent collaboration came as a surprise to some in the intelligence community.

"I think their goal is to make it very clear that Iran has the capability to make life worse for the United States on a variety of fronts," said Seth Jones of the Rand Institute, "even if they have to do some business with a group that has historically been their enemy."

The coalition analysis says munitions recovered in two Iranian convoys, on April 11 and May 3, had "clear indications that they originated in Iran. Some were identical to Iranian supplied goods previously discovered in Iraq."

The April convoy was tracked from Iran into Helmand province and led a fierce firefight that destroyed one vehicle, according to the official analysis. A second vehicle was reportedly found to contain small arms ammunition, mortar rounds and more than 650 pounds of C4 demolition charges.

A second convoy of two vehicles was spotted on May 3 and led to the capture of five occupants and the seizure of RPG-7mm rockets and more than 1,000 pounds of C4, the analysis says.

Also among the munitions are components for the lethal EFPs, or explosive formed projectiles, the roadside bombs that U.S. officials say Iran has provided to Iraqi insurgents with deadly results.

"These clearly have the hallmarks of the Iranian Revolution Guards' Quds force," said Jones.

The coalition diplomatic message says the demolition charges "contained the same fake U.S. markings found on explosives recovered from insurgents operating in the Baghdad area."

"We believe these intercepted munitions are part of a much bigger flow of support from Iran to the Taliban," the message says.

The Taliban receives larger supplies of weapons through profits from opium dealing, officials say, but the Iranian presence could be significant.

"It means the insurgency in Afghanistan is likely to be prolonged," said Jones. "It would be a much more potent force."

Is Reid Correct? Naaaaaaaaa!

Senator Reid has heinously surrendered to radical Islamists with consulting the Executive Branch of the U.S. government. Since he obviously an untrustworthy fellow, I doubt the Bush Administration has divulged its successes to the turncoat.

I say all this because Reid (hopefully) learned of the recent capture of a top Al Qaeda operative inside of Iraq the same I did; i.e. through the media. Incidentally Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi was nabbed in Iraq passing over from Iran. Hmmm? Is the Shi’ite Theocrat nuthouse cooperating with Al Qaeda?

Anyway, Captain’s Quarters has some how acquired a delineation of information about Abd al Hadi al-Iraqi.
