September 11, 2001 is the date that Islam became more than just another religion that was growing rapidly in the world. Islam became the religion in which some people took the literal past as the will of Allah for the world in the twenty-first century. Thus the proponents of what is commonly called “radical Islam” to differentiate from “moderate Islam” seemed to become the mouthpiece of Islam to the American public.

Al Qaeda became a household word in America soon after 9/11. The recognized leadership figure of Al Qaeda is Osama bin Laden. Bin Laden’s ideology of Islam is from the mold of Wahhabi (Salafist) Islam the dominant version of Islam in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is one of the wealthiest oil nations in the world. Saudi adherents of Wahhabi have been the recipients of that wealth and have used it to finance the Wahhabi Islamic version world wide including the United States of America.

Wahhabi Islam is very closely related to the same radical Islamic ideology birthed in Egypt known to the West mostly as the Muslim Brotherhood but also is known as Ikhwan.

The murdering Islamic Supremacist Palestinian-Arab organization known as Hamas is essentially an autonomous wing of the Muslim Brotherhood in Gaza (Gazastan or Hamastan). As we know Hamas wishes to be the lead Muslim terrorist organization superseding Fatah and the Palestine Authority (PA) representing Arabs that call themselves Palestinians in the creation of a Palestinian State that would dismember Israel and provide the next Jewish Holocaust.

The Muslim Brotherhood is highly connected to many American-Muslim organizations of note who claim to represent some aspect or another of “Moderate Islam” in America. Consequently Islamic terrorists Hamas also extend a reach into America as the Holy Land Foundation convictions (along with unindicted co-conspirators) proved.

Despite this interconnected web of evil which is to this day extending its hand on American soil, the American Left is hyper-concerned that Freedom of Religion should prevent scrutiny of the same Islamic ideology that inspired the 9/11 attacks that killed more Americans in our homeland than the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

President Roosevelt announced to America that December 7, 1941 would be a day that will live in infamy. That day of infamy led to a war strategy that the Nazis of Germany and Imperialist Japanese could only make peace by a total and absolute surrender to the Allies that were at war with this axis of evil.

Here we are today on the cusp of nearly eight years of continuous fighting in Afghanistan and there is no unconditional surrender. For that matter there is not a hint of peace overtures either from the Taliban or al Qaeda toward ending the conflict. Indeed the radical Islam of these groups has taken on the nature of suicide before surrender.

Unfortunately the times they have changed from a strategy of win at all costs to a strategy limited by Western International Political Correctness. I am thinking a general like George Patton would have taken the mountainous Bora Bora cave system between Afghanistan and Pakistan and would have immersed the area in carnage (including the collateral damage of Taliban sympathetic civilians) until there was surrender or nothing left to surrender.

Twenty-first century Political Correctness would look upon such a victory in horror because of the huge toll of human lives lost. And yet it was the strategy of forcing unconditional surrenders in World War II that led to the devastating bombing of Dresden, Germany as well as the nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. I am guessing more civilians died in those actions than Nazi or Japanese military personnel. Even so Germany and Japan provided the unconditional surrender to sue for peace.

I am also guessing if the WWII drive to win at all costs was executed today, the chasing of the Taliban and al Qaeda would have ended years ago.

Since the polls concerning the Iraq War theatre brought down Republican dominance in Congress and vilified President G. W. Bush, I am guessing President Barack Hussein Obama is watching the polls of American attitudes toward the Afghanistan War Theatre.

Since President BHO is the Prince of Appeasement and Political Correctness, I wonder what the Obama Administration strategy will be to end America’s military action in the Afghanistan War Theatre. Do you wonder as well?

Polls show that public support for the war in Afghanistan is eroding. Noted conservative columnist George F. Will counsels that it is "time to get out of Afghanistan." Will and others question our purpose there and point to a lack of clear strategy for victory or even clear measures of success.

For some, the conflict in Afghanistan has elicited memories of Vietnam -- a war with no clear battlefront and no clear end. But while the threat in Vietnam was hypothetical, the threat in Afghanistan is real: The Taliban did provide haven for terrorists who attacked America on American soil. And that attack on American soil claimed more lives than were lost at Pearl Harbor.

We are not professionals in the business of influencing public opinion. We write as the brother and father of a Marine infantry officer serving on the front lines of Helmand province in Afghanistan. Patrick was only 16 years old on Sept. 11, 2001. Yet he knew then that he would join the effort to protect our nation from another attack. He is now exactly where he wants to be: protecting our country from further violence in a theater he absolutely believes enabled the events of Sept. 11.

To end the war in Afghanistan is, in a sense, to attempt to return us to a state preceding the Sept. 11 attacks. Do we know for sure that military action in Afghanistan has prevented another attack? Of course not. But we do know that the Taliban in Afghanistan did provide the means for the horrendous carnage of that day. The 2001 attacks changed our world. There is no turning back. Like it or not, Americans must be prepared for a long war if we mean to protect our peace and our way of life.

To use an analogy from medical practice, we are fighting a chronic disease -- one with little hope of eradication. Our goal must be to control the threat even if it cannot be eliminated. In many respects, our plight following Sept. 11 closely parallels the experience of Israel of the past 61 years, a continuing threat that is unlikely to go away.

So, how do we measure our success in Afghanistan? We measure success as the continuation of our American way of life, day by day, and as going one more day without an attack at home. It is incumbent upon our politicians, in particular the Obama administration, to articulate this clearly to the public. The president must provide leadership and not simply react to polls.

We know that many of the men and women serving in Afghanistan do so because of Sept. 11 -- a nearly universal personal response not unlike the national response to Pearl Harbor. While their role in this conflict is a source of great anxiety to their families, for whom a sniper's bullet, an improvised explosive device or a grenade could spell disaster at any moment, this anxiety is overwhelmed by the pride in individuals who sacrifice daily for a cause that most Americans take for granted. Each day that goes by quietly on American soil is our measure of their success in Afghanistan.

OCDB: Defeat Harry Reid’s Reelection

Senator Harry Reid the Democrat from Nevada is coming up for reelection in 2010. Comrade Reid has done everything in political power to undermine America’s troops fighting in Iraq. Currently Reid enjoys the Democrat Party spoils of electoral victory by being the Senate Majority Leader which means that his anti-American Leftist rhetoric is joined with actual real political clout.

Since the Mainstream Media is slack on reporting on ignoble incidents publicly spoken by Leftists, I need to remind you that Senator Reid spoke these infamous words prior to “The Surge” in Iraq: “… this war is lost …”

The Slanted Right (Janet Napolitano would say right wing extremist) group known as Our Country Deserves Better (OCDB) has decided to concentrate some efforts to make Senator Reid vulnerable to an election loss in 2010.

As Senate Majority Leader, Senator Reid will be an architectural component in President Barack Hussein Obama’s Socialist Agenda to bring the kind of “Change” American voters did understand they were voting for. That change is more than diminishing part of what makes America strong – Free Market Capitalism. Indeed, that change involves a moral, social and societal transformation of America that could end Free Speech as the First Amendment originally intended and the further eroding of morality by infusing further the concept Secular Humanistic relativity.

It was two years ago today that Harry Reid proved his level of incompetence. He and his ilk of anti-Americanists and those directly responsible for the deaths and wounding of our Troops for political power and gain tried to lose the War as a whole for the express purpose of personal and professional power. They empowered, enabled and emboldened the enemy every day. They tried to lose the war 45 times and lost 45 times. You'd think that losing would make them happy because they dwell on and thrive in defeat.

Reid: "...this war is lost..." Those were his words of wisdom to We The People and the idiot is still a US Senator. What's up with that? I can only surmise that Treason is an acceptable personality flaw and political trait. (The Snooper Report)

WHY WE ARE TARGETING HARRY REID FOR DEFEAT

As Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid has been Public Enemy #1 to the American people.

Ever since he became Senate Majority Leader spending has exploded and he has pushed through one spending plan after another. Our children and grandchildren will be burdened with trying to overcome the damage he has caused. As the mother of three sons, I can tell you this is not the legacy I was hoping our generation would leave for the future.

Reid was the one who arm-twisted those squishy RINO Republicans (Arlen Specter, Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe) to vote for the $800-billion porkulus spending plan of Obama. Now Reid is lining up votes for Obama's additional deficit spending plans, just as he lined up the votes for government bailouts and tax increases.

But for me this issue is very personal. As many of you know, I have been an active leader in the pro-troop movement for the past several years. And the day that Sen. Harry Reid announced "This War is Lost" while our troops were still fighting on the battlefield, I was LIVID! (Please watch the video of Sen. Reid making an *** of himself when he falsely and erroneously declared "The Surge" and our troops a failure - WATCH IT HERE).

I don't care what your view is about the War on Terror and the various missions that have been involved. We can all debate the best way and means to fight radical Islamic terrorists. But I cannot respect a man who cheerleads for the enemy and insults our military men and women while they are in the middle of fighting a war and conducting their missions.

And newsflash to Harry Reid: you were wrong, the surge was an incredible success!

The war was not lost, and in fact our troops pushed back al-Qaeda cells throughout Iraq and brought calm and stability to over 90% of the nation thanks to Gen. David Petraeus, our troops, and "The Surge" strategy.

Friends, our country deserves better than to have the U.S. Senate led by a man who has been disastrous to our nation's fiscal health; who has helped advance a socialistic policy of government control of parts of our economy, and who has acted disgracefully towards our military men and women.

The past few days everyone has been talking about what's next for the Tea Party movement. Well, obviously we need to vote out those politicians who are harming our country's future. And I can think of no better place to start than by defeating Sen. Harry Reid. Polls show he is in serious trouble in his home state of Nevada, and I promise you that we here at the Our Country Deserves Better Committee will make sure that he is actively opposed.

Hamas and Victory Propaganda

Soon after Hamas agreed to a truce with Israel their propaganda machine went into action spreading al-Taqiyya. Hamas declared a monumental victory over Israel in their little war.

I guess having your infrastructure decimated and your leadership killed or captured is a definition of victory. I guess having the land which you are supposed to administrate occupied by a kick-but army is a victory.

NOT!

Hamas agreed to have Egypt to intercede with Israel for a cease-fire. That way the lying murdering Islamic terrorists can say they were talked into a truce by their friends Egypt.

Barack Hussein Obama Skullduggery

Let us see: Barack Hussein Obama stance to his voting base is to leave Iraq ASAP. BHO claims he was against removing genocidal tyrant Saddam Hussein. BHO says he was against the Surge implying it was a waste in a nation he believes to be a quagmire of American defeat.

Oops! President Bush (which Senator McCain fully supported) went ahead with the Surge to Left America’s horror. This is even more horrific for Left America: the Surge has been an amazing success even beyond President Bush’s expectations.

Understandably BHO being a good Leftist denied the success of the Surge for some time. Only when it became evident that BHO would look like a Foreign Policy fool to refute the success of the Surge did a Leftist spin begin.

That spin was something like this: BHO believed we had no idea the Surge would have been successful; ergo he would have still been against it on principle. I am guessing that principle is defeat rather than victory.

Now the even more hypocrisy for the Leftie who says CHANGE will be the theme of an Administration he would operate.

The New York Post reports that BHO on his only visit to Iraq demanded the Iraqi government to cease negotiations with the Bush Administration over a time frame for U.S. Troops to leave Iraq. Why? I believe reason incorporated something like the Bush Administration was an ineffective weak Presidency.

Hmm … Weak I guess even though after many bad decisions in a post Saddam regime to bring democracy to a much divided nation, President Bush made a good decision with the Surge. This is very Surge that has nearly decimated al Qaeda’s existence in Iraq. So the only real problem in Iraq is rogue Islamofascist Iran attempting to stir up trouble among the Iraqi Shi’ites.

BHO wants no credit to go to President Bush, Senator McCain and the Republicans for being correct about the Surge and how that success could actually bring Americans home earlier than anticipated. BHO wants to continue to paint a bad picture (with the help of his crony media supporters) about Iraq in order to grab the messianic hero adulation for bringing Americans home ALONE. Thus BHO’s idea of CHANGE is still NOT bi-partisan. It is fringe Leftist Democratic Party partisanship in an effort to work Americans at home into giving the Democrats more political power via the vote. Such political power will be an increase in taxes, government interference, restrictions on real Christianity (as opposed to fake Progressive Christianity), and the culmination of a Secular Humanistic transformation in America that will make deviants appear normal and Biblical morality to look deviant.

Here are some excerpts from a Move America Forward Freedom PAC email I received on September 16.

It is almost impossible to believe Barack Obama can be this arrogant. But sometimes the worst about politicians is true. It looks like Barack Obama told the Iraqi government to halt negotiations on troop withdrawals until after the election.

Obama is putting his own political objectives ahead of the safety of U.S. troops in Iraq. Apparently this all happened during his celebrated trip to Iraq - yes, the same trip where he refused to meet with American military personnel in the hospital in Germany because they wouldn't let news camera crews turn the visit into a circus and political stunt.

Iraqi government sources have revealed to the New York Post that Presidential candidate Barack Obama demanded that Iraqi officials stop negotiations with the Bush Administration to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq. …

Fearful that the success in Iraq would harm his political aspirations, Obama sought to keep U.S. troops in Iraq so he can continue attacking the Bush Administration for not imposing a timetable for withdrawal. If these allegations prove to be true, it should be the end of the Obama campaign. The report says this was a demand Obama made to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari.

Obama should have the decency to recognize that he lacks the moral character to serve as Commander-in-Chief, and he should withdraw from the ticket. I have never heard of any candidate deliberately trying to get Americans killed to prove their point.

According to the New York Post story, not only did Obama seek to get the Iraqi to stop negotiating with Americans on the troop drawdown, he also tried to bully General David Petraeus to agree to a hard withdrawal date.

The hypocrisy of Barack Obama - to say, in the United States, that he wants a speedier troop withdrawal date - while telling the Iraqis to stop negotiating is appalling. Even supporters of a quicker U.S. withdrawal must be sickened by his conduct in Iraq. If there were ever a candidate who has demonstrated the lack of character and leadership to represent the United States in foreign affairs, it is Barack Obama.

OBAMA TRIED TO STALL GIS' IRAQ WITHDRAWAL

WHILE campaigning in public for a speedy withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, Sen. Barack Obama has tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence.

According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.

"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.

Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."

"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.

Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.

While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined.

Obama has made many contradictory statements with regard to Iraq. His latest position is that US combat troops should be out by 2010. Yet his effort to delay an agreement would make that withdrawal deadline impossible to meet.

Supposing he wins, Obama's administration wouldn't be fully operational before February - and naming a new ambassador to Baghdad and forming a new negotiation team might take longer still.

By then, Iraq will be in the throes of its own campaign season. Judging by the past two elections, forming a new coalition government may then take three months. So the Iraqi negotiating team might not be in place until next June.

Then, judging by how long the current talks have taken, restarting the process from scratch would leave the two sides needing at least six months to come up with a draft accord. That puts us at May 2010 for when the draft might be submitted to the Iraqi parliament - which might well need another six months to pass it into law.

Thus, the 2010 deadline fixed by Obama is a meaningless concept, thrown in as a sop to his anti-war base.

Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and the Bush administration have a more flexible timetable in mind.

According to Zebari, the envisaged time span is two or three years - departure in 2011 or 2012. That would let Iraq hold its next general election, the third since liberation, and resolve a number of domestic political issues.

Even then, the dates mentioned are only "notional," making the timing and the cadence of withdrawal conditional on realities on the ground as appreciated by both sides.

Iraqi leaders are divided over the US election. Iraqi President Jalal Talabani (whose party is a member of the Socialist International) sees Obama as "a man of the Left" - who, once elected, might change his opposition to Iraq's liberation. Indeed, say Talabani's advisers, a President Obama might be tempted to appropriate the victory that America has already won in Iraq by claiming that his intervention transformed failure into success.

Maliki's advisers have persuaded him that Obama will win - but the prime minister worries about the senator's "political debt to the anti-war lobby" - which is determined to transform Iraq into a disaster to prove that toppling Saddam Hussein was "the biggest strategic blunder in US history."

Other prominent Iraqi leaders, such as Vice President Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Kurdish regional President Massoud Barzani, believe that Sen. John McCain would show "a more realistic approach to Iraqi issues."

Obama has given Iraqis the impression that he doesn't want Iraq to appear anything like a success, let alone a victory, for America. The reason? He fears that the perception of US victory there might revive the Bush Doctrine of "pre-emptive" war - that is, removing a threat before it strikes at America.

Despite some usual equivocations on the subject, Obama rejects pre-emption as a legitimate form of self -defense. To be credible, his foreign-policy philosophy requires Iraq to be seen as a failure, a disaster, a quagmire, a pig with lipstick or any of the other apocalyptic adjectives used by the American defeat industry in the past five years.

Yet Iraq is doing much better than its friends hoped and its enemies feared. The UN mandate will be extended in December, and we may yet get an agreement on the status of forces before President Bush leaves the White House in January.

Casey Jones: Same city, different outlook

Only now has the Left been grudgingly admitting the success of the Troop Surge initiated by the Bush Administration. The Left called it a failure before it was even launched.

I am certain you have read negative spin from the still virulent anti-war Dhimmicrats of the Left. You probably have also read supportive analysis from the Right. You might have even read neutral analysts saying there is success this is the reason why and the success is precarious because one slip-up could through the success into a failure.

But here is something interesting from actual Marines that are stationed in Iraq. The story is written by Lance Cpl Casey Jones and it is not from the view of data collection. Jones’ perspective is that of a soldier that is there seeing the success spread before his very eyes. YOU REALLY NEED TO READ IT!

This from a man who was a severe critic of the postwar occupation of Iraq and who, as author Peter Wehner points out, is no wide-eyed optimist. In fact, in May 2006 Cordesman had written that "no one can argue that the prospects for stability in Iraq are good." Now, however, there is simply no denying the remarkable improvements in Iraq since the surge began a year ago.

Unless you're a Democrat. As Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) put it, "Democrats have remained emotionally invested in a narrative of defeat and retreat in Iraq." Their Senate leader, Harry Reid, declares the war already lost. Their presidential candidates (eight of them at the time) unanimously oppose the surge. Then the evidence begins trickling in.

We get news of the Anbar Awakening, which has now spread to other Sunni areas and Baghdad. The sectarian civil strife that the Democrats insisted was the reason for us to leave dwindles to the point of near disappearance. Much of Baghdad is returning to normal. There are 90,000 neighborhood volunteers -- ordinary citizens who act as auxiliary police and vital informants on terrorist activity -- starkly symbolizing the insurgency's loss of popular support. Captured letters of al-Qaeda leaders reveal despair as they are driven -- mostly by Iraqi Sunnis, their own Arab co-religionists -- to flight and into hiding.

After agonizing years of searching for the right strategy and the right general, we are winning. How do Democrats react? From Nancy Pelosi to Barack Obama, the talking point is the same: Sure, there is military progress. We could have predicted that. (They in fact had predicted the opposite, but no matter.) But it's all pointless unless you get national reconciliation.

"National" is a way to ignore what is taking place at the local and provincial level, such as Shiite cleric Ammar al-Hakim, scion of the family that dominates the largest Shiite party in Iraq, traveling last October to Anbar in an unprecedented gesture of reconciliation with the Sunni sheiks.

Doesn't count, you see. Democrats demand nothing less than federal-level reconciliation, and it has to be expressed in actual legislation.

The objection was not only highly legalistic but also politically convenient: Very few (including me) thought this would be possible under the Maliki government. Then last week, indeed on the day Cordesman published his report, it happened. Mirabile dictu, the Iraqi parliament approved three very significant pieces of legislation.

First, a provincial powers law that turns Iraq into arguably the most federal state in the entire Arab world. The provinces get not only power but also elections by Oct. 1. U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker has long been calling this the most crucial step to political stability. It will allow, for example, the pro-American Anbar sheiks to become the legitimate rulers of their province, exercise regional autonomy and forge official relations with the Shiite-dominated central government.

Second, parliament passed a partial amnesty for prisoners, 80 percent of whom are Sunni. Finally, it approved a $48 billion national budget that allocates government revenue -- about 85 percent of which is from oil -- to the provinces. Kurdistan, for example, gets one-sixth.

What will the Democrats say now? They will complain that there is still no oil distribution law. True. But oil revenue is being distributed to the provinces in the national budget. The fact that parliament could not agree on a permanent formula for the future simply means that it will be allocating oil revenue year by year as part of the budget process. Is that a reason to abandon Iraq to al-Qaeda and Iran?

Despite all the progress, military and political, the Democrats remain unwavering in their commitment to withdrawal on an artificial timetable that inherently jeopardizes our "very real chance that Iraq will emerge as a secure and stable state."

Why? Imagine the transformative effects in the region, and indeed in the entire Muslim world, of achieving a secure and stable Iraq, friendly to the United States and victorious over al-Qaeda. Are the Democrats so intent on denying George Bush retroactive vindication for a war they insist is his that they would deny their own country a now-achievable victory?

Berkeley will not send Marines "unwelcome intruders" letter

Well it appears the Move America Forward protesters were more effective than the anti-American Code Pink because the Berkeley City Council voted 7 – 2 not to send a letter to the Marines to say they were not welcome in Berkeley. However the hubris of the Left engaged the City Council not to apologize for their un-American activities.

Gabriel: Do We Have The Will?

Here is an important message from Brigitte Gabriel founder of American Congress for Truth and ACT for America. Both websites are dedicated to educating Americans about the very real threat of Islamism (and some would say of Islam) to the American way of life. Islamists seek to transform the globe into their vision of Mohammedanism after the actions and sayings of the cruel man Mohammed as he brought death and destruction and the initiation of an empire. This empire would maintain cohesion of Theo-political cult that inspired fanatic devotion to the violent way of Mohammed.

The e-newsletter is entitled, “Do We Have The Will? Part One.” It really is a synopsis of a book written by Lee Harris. Here is a snippet of what Gabriel says of Harris’ book:

NO 'NIGHTMARE': WHY 'SURGE' IS WORKING

Not too long ago Lt. General Ricardo Sanchez castigated the Left and the Right about how the War in Iraq is being prosecuted. When I say Left and Right Sanchez’s criticism left no stone unturned. He verbally whooped up on the Bush Administration, a Democratic Congress, and the Mainstream Media and probably others I did not catch.

Sanchez was the top commander and now he is retired. When he was in charge he reported the rules of engagement made Iraq a nightmare.

That was then, now is the “Surge” under the guidance of General David Patraeus. Patraeus’ prosecution of the War in Iraq has become a nightmare for al Qaeda and foreign insurgents.

Sgt. Eddie Jeffers – A True American Patriot

I was alerted to an “opinion piece” that was placed in a publication of Frank Salvato. I was alerted first of all from a Vox network friend – Twana's Blog. She directed me to the Vox blog entitled, “Joe’s Blog.” From Joe’s Blog I found Salvato’s original post at The News Media Journal.

The “opinion piece” was written by Sgt. Eddie Jeffers back in February 2007.

You might ask, “Why was something written several months ago and not by a journalist at that, relevant to today?”

The reason is tragic however in tragedy Sgt. Jeffers’ words are more significant now than they ever were back in February. Sgt Jeffers died fighting for his country and to make a difference in Iraq on September 19, 2007.

Matching Sgt. Jeffers’ words with a soldier’s death is a slap in the face of dishonorable Democrats as Pelosi, Murtha, Reid and many other politicians praying for bad things to happen to American soldiers to exploit a potential political gain in Election 2008. The words of Sgt Jeffers nauseate my soul when I think of the Cindy Sheehan anti-war types in America. Sgt. Jeffers’ words nauseate my soul when I KNOW Iran and its Twelver Islamofascist Shia ruling elite supply arms and training that directly affects American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sgt. Jeffers’ words nauseate my soul KNOWING wealthy Wahhabi elites, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Muslim Brotherhood affiliates conspire to implement American deaths and provide hate literature for propaganda in American Mosques and train Islamist terrorist to infiltrate American soil with the help of American non-profit Mohammedan organizations acting is the conduit.

What is a patriot? What is a hero? We throw these words around a lot these days and we bestow them on those who most often don’t come close to warranting the honor. From athletes to artists, dissenters to politicians and movie stars, our society holds some of the most undeserving people in high esteem.

So, what is a patriot? Who really should be designated a hero?

Patriot: A person who loves, supports and defends his or her country and its interests with devotion. – Dictionary.com

Hero: A man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. – Dictionary.com

Last February my publication ran an opinion piece by a young US Army sergeant named Eddie Jeffers. Eddie was serving in one of Iraq’s hot-spots, Ramadi Iraq. His job was the hard job: clearing buildings, disrupting terrorist cells and operations, everything that we imagine when we think of what it must be like for our soldiers who are “in the thick of it.”

After reading Eddie’s piece the first time I realized the true definition of patriotism, of heroism. It isn’t about voicing dissent or exercising free speech. It isn’t about achieving political change or affecting the world politick. And while there may be some credence to the notion of standing up for what you believe in that’s only one component.

Patriotism, heroism, is providing the protection so that others can freely voice dissent and participate in politics. A patriot takes up the banner of devotion to our country dedicating himself to the principles and ideology that make up its foundation. A hero has the courage to defend those principles, that ideology, so that others may enjoy liberty.

At 7am on September 19, 2007 in Ramadi, Iraq, on a sweltering Iraqi summer day, a good friend whom I knew but never met, a true American patriot and a hero died. US Army Sergeant Eddie Jeffers died in the service of our country, fighting the enemy on Iraqi soil so that we don’t have to fight them on ours. He died protecting the innocent among the Iraqis so that they might benefit from the same principles and ideology that afford us the freedom to even consider debating the legitimacy of the conflict in which he fought.

Through the tears of anguish I cried upon hearing the news I felt a genuine anger beginning to envelop me. I felt the injustice and inequity that comes with experiencing the death of not only a 23-year old, but a genuine and fine individual. But then I began to contemplate the words Eddie chose to share with us from Ramadi, Iraq, an earthly hell which he endured and will never return from. I reflected on his concerns and his worries and I realized that anguish and anger – in the context of his sacrifice and the sacrifice of his family – are selfish.

I am not related to Eddie, but I feel a special brotherhood with him. I will be celebrating Eddie's life, saluting his honor and I am motivated by his service and dedication, his patriotism and heroism, his memory, to make sure that our country does right by his life.

I will not surrender to the visionless where this conflict is concerned. Instead, I will engage them with facts and foresight. I will not give-up on the mission in which Eddie was engaged simply for the pressure to do so. Instead, I will employ the realistic understanding of the consequences of quitting before the mission is through. I will not retreat because it is the popular thing to do, rather I will rely heavily on the truth of the matter, enlisting facts and reason in an effort to make others understand the cost of defeat. And I will not fail.

Most importantly, I will make sure that Sergeant Eddie Jeffers has the last word on his thoughts and feelings about both his mission and what is now his destiny. Here now is Eddie Jeffers if only in his words:

I stare out into the darkness from my post, and I watch the city burn to the ground. I smell the familiar smells, I walk through the familiar rubble, and I look at the frightened faces that watch me pass down the streets of their neighborhoods. My nerves hardly rest; my hands are steady on a device that has been given to me from my government for the purpose of taking the lives of others.

I sweat, and I am tired. My back aches from the loads I carry. Young American boys look to me to direct them in a manner that will someday allow them to see their families again...and yet, I too, am just a boy....my age not but a few years more than that of the ones I lead. I am stressed, I am scared, and I am paranoid...because death is everywhere. It waits for me, it calls to me from around street corners and windows, and it is always there.

There are the demons that follow me, and tempt me into thoughts and actions that are not my own...but that are necessary for survival. I've made compromises with my humanity. And I am not alone in this. Miles from me are my brethren in this world, who walk in the same streets...who feel the same things, whether they admit to it or not.

And to think, I volunteered for this...

And I am ignorant to the rest of the world...or so I thought.

But even thousands of miles away, in Ramadi, Iraq, the cries and screams and complaints of the ungrateful reach me. In a year, I will be thrust back into society from a life and mentality that doesn't fit your average man. And then, I will be alone. And then, I will walk down the streets of America, and see the yellow ribbon stickers on the cars of the same people who compare our President to Hitler.

I will watch the television and watch the Cindy Sheehans, and the Al Frankens, and the rest of the ignorant sheep of America spout off their mouths about a subject they know nothing about. It is their right, however, and it is a right that is defended by hundreds of thousands of boys and girls scattered across the world, far from home. I use the word boys and girls, because that's what they are. In the Army, the average age of the infantryman is nineteen years old. The average rank of soldiers killed in action is Private First Class.

People like Cindy Sheehan are ignorant. Not just to this war, but to the results of their idiotic ramblings, or at least I hope they are. They don't realize its effects on this war. In this war, there are no Geneva Conventions, no cease fires. Medics and Chaplains are not spared from the enemy's brutality because it's against the rules. I can only imagine the horrors a military Chaplain would experience at the hands of the enemy. The enemy slinks in the shadows and fights a coward’s war against us. It is effective though, as many men and women have died since the start of this war. And the memory of their service to America is tainted by the inconsiderate remarks on our nation's news outlets. And every day, the enemy changes...only now, the enemy is becoming something new. The enemy is transitioning from the Muslim extremists to Americans. The enemy is becoming the very people whom we defend with our lives. And they do not realize it. But in denouncing our actions, denouncing our leaders, denouncing the war we live and fight, they are isolating the military from society...and they are becoming our enemy.

Democrats and peace activists like to toss the word "quagmire" around and compare this war to Vietnam. In a way they are right, this war is becoming like Vietnam. Not the actual war, but in the isolation of country and military. America is not a nation at war; they are a nation with its military at war. Like it or not, we are here, some of us for our second, or third times; some even for their fourth and so on. Americans are so concerned now with politics, that it is interfering with our war.

Terrorists cut the heads off of American citizens on the internet...and there is no outrage, but an American soldier kills an Iraqi in the midst of battle, and there are investigations, and sometimes soldiers are even jailed...for doing their job.It is absolutely sickening to me to think our country has come to this. Why are we so obsessed with the bad news? Why will people stop at nothing to be against this war, no matter how much evidence of the good we've done is thrown in their face? When is the last time CNN or MSNBC or CBS reported the opening of schools and hospitals in Iraq? Or the leaders of terror cells being detained or killed? It's all happening, but people will not let up their hatred of President Bush. They will ignore the good news, because it just might show people that Bush was right.

America has lost its will to fight. It has lost its will to defend what is right and just in the world. The crazy thing of it all is that the American people have not even been asked to sacrifice a single thing. It’s not like World War II, where people rationed food and turned in cars to be made into metal for tanks. The American people have not been asked to sacrifice anything. Unless you are in the military or the family member of a service member, its life as usual...the war doesn't affect you.

But it affects us. And when it is over and the troops come home and they try to piece together what's left of them after their service...where will the detractors be then? Where will the Cindy Sheehans be to comfort and talk to soldiers and help them sort out the last couple years of their lives, most of which have been spent dodging death and wading through the deaths of their friends? They will be where they always are, somewhere far away, where the horrors of the world can't touch them. Somewhere where they can complain about things they will never experience in their lifetime; things that the young men and women of America have willingly taken upon their shoulders.

We are the hope of the Iraqi people. They want what everyone else wants in life: safety, security, somewhere to call home. They want a country that is safe to raise their children in. Not a place where their children will be abducted raped and murdered if they do not comply with the terrorists demands. They want to live on, rebuild and prosper. And America has given them the opportunity, but only if we stay true to the cause and see it to its end. But the country must unite in this endeavor...we cannot place the burden on our military alone. We must all stand up and fight, whether in uniform or not. And supporting us is more than sticking yellow ribbon stickers on your cars. It's supporting our President, our troops and our cause.

Right now, the burden is all on the American soldiers. Right now, hope rides alone. But it can change, it must change. Because there is only failure and darkness ahead for us as a country, as a people, if it doesn't.

Let's stop all the political nonsense, let's stop all the bickering, let's stop all the bad news and let's stand and fight!

Isn't that what America is about anyway?

It is what America is all about. Godspeed Eddy. Godspeed.

Fear Supplicates Peace and Abandons Victory

With the passing of the anniversary of the last foreign attack on American soil that killed thousands of lives, Jihad/terrorist watchers have been warning of an impending attempt to duplicate the carnage of 9/11.

The focus of the warnings typically have centered on some sort of Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) instrument to reap the largest amount of loss of American lives. Apparently the WMD predictions seem to be of the nuclear or chemical nature.

This does not mean Islamofascists have abandoned their tried and infamously true tactics of the past. What are those tactics? Simply the utilization of bad old fashioned terror in which Islamofascist individuals or teams execute carnage via the notorious homicidal suicide bomber or the occasional fear tactics of thugs using guns to kill civilian bystanders.

To what purpose does the bad old fashioned terrorist tactics serve? The old tactics become news events in which the media reports about the carnage thus enabling the free usage of propaganda to strike fear in a populace to transform the populace into fear ruled appeasers that will make any concession under the delusion an Islamofascist will keep a bargain to not strike again. Of Course the Islamofascist waits a period of time to provide the illusion of honor of agreements, and then a lying pretext is used in the name of Allah and his prophet Mohammed to exact more terrorism. Often times “more” is a word that means a greater intensity of terrorist acts of murder in the most heinous graphic way to continue to get the media to spread Islamofascist propaganda for free because it is news that sells.

I want to make our readers aware of this because Intelligence resources captured some video in Afghanistan (c. 2002) that portrays this very scenario of terrorism to be used in America.

The tape portrays home invasions, drive-by shootings, ambushing police officers via subterfuge, public kidnappings, Golf Course assassinations, public building mass murder (i.e. malls, schools and use your imagination) and so on.

Israel has been victimized with this kind of terrorism nearly since its modern inception as a modern sovereign nation. Most Western Democracies have heard it so much that our public has been desensitized to hearing the news of cruel Jewish deaths. The cruelty has occurred so long in Israel that non-religious Jews are being duped to give land to their mortal enemies under the delusion that Islamofascist Arab terrorists will live in peace next door as a sovereign nation. The Islamofascist pattern does not line up with the land for peace delusion.

Imagine though if the despicable tactics perpetrated on Israeli Jews comes close to home. This exported Islamofascist terrorism has reached Europe and Russia. Attempts have been initiated in America; however the lack of success is not newsworthy enough to sell on the printed page and television/radio. If successful Islamofascist attacks become the norm, expect the free publicity of terror from the MSM disseminating fear for terrorism. That is what the captured al Qaeda tapes in Afghanistan imply: the exportation of the bad old tactics of attrition terrorism. Attrition - that is the meaning of long term execution of terrorism to wear down the enemy of Islamofascists to acquire more and more concessions from those more desperate for peace than for victory.

Kind of sounds like a cut-n-run Democrat does it not?

Winds of War: The Perfect Day Scenario

You would think that the tactics of the militant jihadists and those of political Islam would be at odds with other and work at cross purposes. Both seek to re-establish the Caliphate and impose Islam upon the world. Both believe in the same ideology of Islamism.


The militant jihadists use terrorism to reach their goal while the fundamentalist Muslims use political Islam. The tactics of political Islam is a slow patient process where they work to slowly Islamatize both Muslim and non-Muslim societies while militant jihad seeks to overthrow those societies through terrorism and impose Islam directly.


You would think that the violent tactics of the jihadists would undercut the process of political Islam making targeted societies more defensive and less likely to submit to Islamism. But that may not be entirely true.


This about this. The Jihadists, like al-Qaeda, are trying to start a holy war between Islam and the West. They preach that the free democracies are at war with Islam itself and seek to destroy it. But to create that dream of a global holy war, the Jihadists need the active support of the 1.2 billion Muslims through the world. But it will take more than the war in Iraq and in Afghanistan, more than successful terrorist attacks, more than fringe hate elements on the right to awaken the ummah to the manufactured threat of a holy war by the Jihadists.


The 1.2 billion worldwide Muslims need to see their religion, in no uncertain terms, under attack by the free democracies. For that, the Jihadists need to create events so monstrous that the population of a non-Muslim country (read the USA) will respond by attacking and/or persecuting any and all Muslims and their organizations and mosques in their midst or, if through a massive WMD attack, respond with a nuclear attack on a Muslim country.


This type of uncontrollable anger from non-Muslims is what the militant Jihadists are striving for - especially in the USA. They know we can not be defeated militarily unless the entire Muslim world will unite as one force using modern day weapons to die for the glory of Allah.


It’s a sick dream but one that the Jihadists have confirmed time and time again.


So what kind of monstrous attack would kindle un-bridled anger against Muslims in the USA? Sure, a WMD attack killing tens of thousands of Americans. But though they are human beings, they are still numbers dying from one enormous cause like 9/11. So what kind of hideous attack or multiple attacks would create a primeval rage in America – one that would push Americans not just over the edge – but beyond into an abysses of uncontrollable revenge?


One word. Beslin. From the Mirror.

The full horror of the Russian school atrocity began to emerge yesterday as traumatised children told horrific tales of stabbed babies and brutal rapes.

It has also emerged that scores of the 323 who died - including many children - had been shot in the back. While despairing soldiers and rescue workers moved among the growing pile of body bags, it was revealed that an 18-month-old baby had been repeatedly stabbed by a black-clad terrorist who had run out of ammunition.

Other survivors told how screaming teenage girls were dragged into rooms adjoining the gymnasium where they were being held and raped by their Chechen captors who chillingly made a video film of their appalling exploits. They said children were forced to drink their own urine and eat the petals off the flowers they had brought their teachers after nearly three days without food or water in the stifling hot gym.

A Russian official said six seriously injured children had been taken to Moscow for treatment.

"One of them is a child, just 18 months old, with many knife wounds," he said

Why schools? Two reasons:

1. Our values. "The most sacred thing to us is our children, our babies," Rassa said. Killing hundreds of them at a time would significantly "boost Islamic morale and lower that of the enemy" (us). In Grossman's words, terrorists see this effort as "an attempt to defile our nation" by leaving it "stunned to its soul."


2. Our lack of preparation. Police agencies "aren't used to this," Rassa said. "We deal with acts of a criminal nature. This is an act of war," but because of our laws "we can't depend on the military to help us," at least at the outset.


Indeed, Grossman claimed, "the U.S. in the one nation in the world where the military is not the first line of defense against domestic terrorist attacks. By law, you the police officer are our Delta Force. It is your job to go in, while in most other nations cops will wait for the military to come save their kids."


School personnel, Rassa said, "are not even close" to being either mentally or physically prepared. "Most don't even have response plans for handling a single active shooter. Their world is taught to nurture and care for people. They don't want to deal with this."


The American public, "sticking their heads in the sand, can't be mentally prepared," he said. "They're going to freak when it happens," their stubborn denial making the crisis "all the more shocking."


Noting that "sheep have two speeds: 'graze' and 'stampede,'" Grossman predicted that "not a parent in the nation will send their kids to school the next day"-perhaps for many days-after a large-scale terrorist massacre. If day-care centers-"also on the terrorists' list"-are hit as well, "parents will drop out of the work force" en masse to protect their children and "our economy will be devastated."

Rassa played vivid videotapes confiscated in Afghanistan, showing al-Qaeda terrorists practicing the takeover of a school. The trainees issue commands in English, rehearse separating youngsters into manageable groups and meeting any resistance with violence. Some "hostages" are taken to the rooftop, dangled over the edge, then "shot."


"Any place that has given [Islamic terrorists] trouble, they've come after the kids," Grossman said …..He cited instances in Indonesia where girls on their way to school have been beheaded and in other countries where children have been shot, mutilated, raped or burned alive.

What would be the likely attack?

Terrorist cells of four operatives each might strike simultaneously at four different schools. They may pick elementary schools, or middle schools with no police officers on site, where the girls are "old enough to rape" but students are not big enough to fight back effectively.


The targets may be in states "with no concealed-carry laws and no hunting culture" and in communities where "police do not have rifles." Rural areas could be favored, where 30 minutes or more might be required for responders to arrive in force.


The attackers will probably "mow down every kid and teacher they see" as they move in to seize the school. They may plant bombs throughout the buildings, and "rape, murder and throw out bodies like they did in Russia." Emergency vehicles responding and children fleeing will be blown up by car bombs in the parking lot.

In all, 100 to 300 children could be slaughtered in a first strike.

But there are even worse scenarios. One worst of all, one that will strike terror into America more than any WMD is the Perfect Day Scenario.

An al-Qaida training videotape, captured in Afghanistan, shows Osama bin Laden's terrorists are not only planning attacks with weapons of mass destruction but are preparing to kill Americans with drive-by shootings and home break-ins, through ambushes of law-enforcement officers and targeted assassinations on golf courses, WorldNetDaily has learned.

The videotape was produced, U.S. analysts believe, for al-Qaida's internal use and did not appear to be an external propaganda device.

"None of these training scenarios depicts the type of fighting that al-Qaida engages in within Afghanistan," noted John Holschen of Insights Training Center, who produced a report on the tape for military and law enforcement officials.

The training video shows al-Qaida operatives practicing the following kinds of assaults:


* using pickup trucks with shooters concealed in the bed of the trucks;

* using motorcycles as a shooting platform for drive-bys and assassinations;

* execution of prisoners;

* ambushes of law-enforcement officers;

* residential assassinations;

* assassination on a golf course using a rocket-propelled grenade and rifle fire;

* drive-up kidnapping of target walking on a street;

* use of tunnels, storm drains and sewers for infiltration during urban raids;

* rappelling from rooftops of buildings to make entry on upper floors;

* use of motorcycles for grenade attacks; and

* raids on buildings with large numbers of occupants – perhaps schools or office buildings.

Analysts point out that all scenarios involving prisoners and hostages ended in execution. None included plans for negotiated settlements for escape by terrorists.

"They plan to kill the prisoners and die in place," wrote Holschen.

How would our leadership respond to such butchery? More important, how would the average American respond to the violation of our most precious resource – our children. Our leadership will of course call for restraint. But this time around, it won’t wash. Demands will be made and if the leadership will not respond – they will be replaced with those that will take action.

The action that the Jihadists will gleefully welcome.

So what do we do? When the next big attack comes and it takes the form of The Perfect Day, it will be too late. If our response is uncontrolled and indiscriminate revenge, we would have given the Jihadists the weapon they need to recruit the ummah to holy war. By that time we will have a global wide conflagration that will make World War II look like a garden party.

The time is now to educate the free world about the enemy we face. And time is running short. If our leadership would face up the threat and name it for what it is and take proper action now, we may be able to prevent The Perfect Day or at least mediate some of its more brutal responses. To do that the enemy ideology must be named and HOW it is being spread politically in the non-Muslim and Muslim world.

How?

With a speech that includes this from our political leadership.

My Fellow Americans:

Our war against the ideology of Islamism begins with al Qaeda, but it does not end there. It will not end until every Islamist group of global reach has been found, stopped and defeated. Both overseas and this country as well.

As before 1941, we have underestimated the power of a fascist ideology. Though many commentators have written about the history of Islamism – and it does have a history – we have ignored the warning signs at our peril. The ideology of Islamism stems from a resurgence of a radical interpretation of Islam advanced by an organization called the Muslim Brotherhood in the early 1900s. Its motto is telling: "Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. The Qur'an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope." In an interview to the London based Asharq Al-Awsat, an international Arab newspaper on December 11, 2005, the current leader of the international Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammad Mahdi Akef stated that “the Muslim Brotherhood is a global movement whose members cooperate with each other throughout the world, based on the same religious worldview - the spread of Islam, until it rules the world.”

The Muslim Brotherhood’s political agenda to impose a radical form of Islam – Islamism - on the world have influenced the terrorist leaders we see today. Examples are Osama bin Laden and his second in command, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Islamists want to overthrow existing governments in many Muslim countries, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan. They want to drive Israel out of the Middle East. They want to drive Christians and Jews out of vast regions of Asia and Africa. The violent adherents of Islamism kill not merely to end lives, but to disrupt and end a way of life. With every atrocity, they hope that America grows fearful, retreating from the world and forsaking our friends. They stand against us, because we stand in their way.

But Islamism has its non-violent side, too. They are waging a form of jihad on the free world that is more insidious than the out fright tactics of their terrorists. The non-violent jihads seek to intimidate, infiltrate and misinform us in an attempt to soften us up, so to speak, by confusing our response to their overall aggressive agenda of domination by their Islamist ideology. These jihads must be identified and countered in our freedom loving and pluralistic society for they, though not I themselves violent, have the same objective as the overall Islamist ideology –the imposition of Shariah law upon non-Muslim and moderate Muslim nations.

Americans are asking: How will we fight and win this war? We will direct every resource at our command -- every means of diplomacy, every tool of intelligence, every instrument of law enforcement, every financial influence, and every necessary weapon of war -- to the disruption and to the defeat of this ideology. That includes the defense of our American culture against the attempts at imposing Shariah law in this country.

We are a country of laws. Laws founded on Judeo-Christian principle, delineated and refined in the name of freedom over two thousand years. No one person, no one organization, or no one religion is above these laws and they will be defended aggressively if violently attacked like on 9-11 or through the intimidation or infiltration of an ideology that seeks to remove our hard won personal freedoms.

Every nation, in every region, now has a decision to make. Every person, organization and institution has a decision to make.

Either you are with us, or you are with the Islamists. From this day forward, any nation that continues to harbor or support Islamism will be regarded by the United States as a hostile and threat to America’s security.

If we don’t hear something like this soon, we will hand the Jihadists The Perfect Day they seek to turn their monstrous and barbaric ideology into a holy war that will kill hundreds of millions of Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

I originally found this essay posted via the Blind Conservatives E-list. As I the essay I found it to be astonishingly honest. Brig. Gen. Cash claims to be a Democrat yet also says he is disgusted with how far Left his Political Party of choice has gone. Cash also claims to be a Conservative but definitely not a Republican. Cash feels the Republicans have screwed up the prosecution of the War in Iraq yet reserves a little praise for the Republicans in that under Republican Presidents the military prospered and were demoralized under Democratic Presidents.

I was a little concerned about the lack of credentials the Blind Conservative Post had; so I Googled Brig. Gen. Jimmy L. Cash and found volumes of Blogs had posted this very essay. I guess I am late in the case of my posting; nonetheless it is so brilliant I am posting it anyway.

I wrote recently about the war in Iraq and the larger war against radical Islam, eliciting a number of responses. Let me try and put this conflict in proper perspective. Understand, the current battle we are engaged in is much bigger that just Iraq. What happens in the next year will affect this country and how our kids and grandkids live throughout their lifetime, and beyond. Radical Islam has been attacking the West since the seventh century. They have been defeated in the past and decimated to the point of taking hundreds of years to recover. But they can never be totally defeated. Their birth rates are so far beyond civilized world rates that in time they recover and attempt to dominate again.

There are eight terror-sponsoring countries that make up the grand threat to the West. Two, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan just need firm pressure from the West to make major reforms. They need to decide who they are really going to support and commit to that support. That answer is simple. They both will support who they think will hang in there until the end, and win. We are not sending very good signals in that direction right now, thanks to the Democrats.

The other six, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, North Korea and Libya will require regime change or a major policy shift. Now, let’s look more closely.

Afghanistan and Iraq have both had regime changes, but are being fueled by outsiders from Syria and Iran. We have scared Gaddafi’s pants off, and he has given up his quest for nuclear weapons, so I don’t think Libya is now a threat. North Korea (the non-Islamic threat) can be handled diplomatically by buying them off. They are starving.
That leaves Syria and Iran. Syria is like a frightened puppy. Without the support of Iran they will join the stronger side. So where does that leave us? Sooner, or later, we are going to be forced to confront Iran, and it better be before they gain nuclear capability.

In 1989 I served as a Command Director inside the Cheyenne Mountain complex located in Colorado Springs, Colorado for almost three years. My job there was to observe (through classified means) every missile shot anywhere in the world and assess if it was a threat to the US or Canada. If any shot was threatening to either nation I had only minutes to advise the President, as he had only minutes to respond. I watched Iran and Iraq shoot missiles at each other every day, and all day long, for months. They killed hundreds of thousand of their people. Know why? They were fighting for control of the Middle East and that enormous oil supply.

At that time, they were preoccupied with their internal problems and could care less about toppling the west. Oil prices were fairly stable and we could not see an immediate threat.

Well, the worst part of what we have done as a nation in Iraq is to do away with the military capability of one of those nations. Now, Iran has a clear field to dominate the
Middle East, since Iraq is no longer a threat to them. They have turned their attention to the only other threat to their dominance, the United States. They are convinced they will win, because the United States is so divided, and the Democrats (who now control Congress and may control the Presidency in 2008) have openly said we are pulling out.

Do you have any idea what will happen if the entire Middle East turns their support to Iran, which they will obviously do if we pull out? It is not the price of oil we will have to worry about. Oil will not be made available to this country at any price. I personally would vote for any presidential candidate who did what JFK did with the space program---declare a goal to bring this country to total energy independence in a decade.

Yes, it is about oil. The economy in this country will totally die if that Middle East supply is cut off right now. It will not be a recession. It will be a depression that will make 1929 look like the “good-old-days”.

The bottom line here is simple. If Iran is forced to fall in line, the fighting in Iraq will end over night, and the nightmare will be over. One way or another, Iran must be forced to join modern times and the global community. It may mean a real war---if so, now is the time, before we face a nuclear Iran with the capacity to destroy Israel and begin a new ice age. I urge you to read the book “END GAME” by two of our best Middle East experts, true American patriots and retired military generals, Paul Vallely and Tom McInerney. They are our finest, and totally honest in their assessment of why victory in the Middle East is so important, and how it can be won. On the other hand, we have several very angry retired generals today, who evidently have not achieved their lofty goals, and insist on ranting and raving about the war. They are wrong, and doing the country great harm by giving a certain political party reason to use them as experts to back their anti-war claims.

You may be one of those who believe nothing could ever be terrible enough to support our going to war. If that is the case I should stop here, as that level of thinking approaches mental disability in this day and age. It is right up there with alien abductions and high altitude seeding through government aircraft contrails. I helped produce those contrails for almost 30 years, and I can assure you we were not seeding the atmosphere. The human race is a war-like population, and if a country is not willing to protect itself, it deserves the consequences. Nuff-said!!!

Now, my last comments will get to the nerve. They will be on politics. I am not a Republican. And, George Bush has made enough mistakes as President to insure my feelings about that for the rest of my life. However, the Democratic Party has moved so far left, they have made me support those farther to the right.

I am a conservative who totally supports the Constitution of this country. The only difference between the United States and the South American, third world, dictator infested and ever-changing South American governments, is our US Constitution.

This Republic (note I did not say Democracy) is the longest standing the world has ever known, but it is vulnerable. It would take so little to change it through economic upheaval. There was a time when politicians could disagree, but still work together. We are past that time, and that is the initial step toward the downfall of our form of government. I think that many view Bush-hating as payback time. The Republicans hated the Clintons and now the Democrats hate Bush. So, both parties are putting their hate toward willingness to do anything for political dominance to include lying and always taking the opposite stand just for the sake of being opposed. JUST HOW GOOD IS THAT FOR OUR COUNTRY?

In my lifetime, after serving in uniform for President’s Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, and Bush I have a pretty good feel for which party supported our military, and what military life was like under each of their terms. And, let me assure you that times were best under the Republicans. Service under Jimmy Carter was devastating for all branches of the military. And, Ronald Regan was truly a salvation. You can choose to listen to enriched newscasters, and foolish people like John Murtha (he is no war hero), Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Michael Moore, Jane Fonda, Harry Reid, Russ Feingold, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and on-and-on to include the true fools in Hollywood if you like. If you do, your conclusions will be totally wrong.

The reason that I write, appear on radio talk shows, and do everything I can to denounce those people is simple. THEY ARE PUTTING THEIR THURST FOR POLITICAL POWER AND QUEST FOR VICTORY IN 2008 ABOVE WHAT IS BEST FOR THIS COUNTRY. I cannot abide that. Pelosi clearly defied the Logan Act by going to Syria, which should have lead to imprisonment of three years and a heavy fine. Jane Fonda did more to prolong the Vietnam War than any other human being (as acknowledge by Ho Chi Minh in his writing before he died). She truly should have been indicted for treason, along with her radical husband Tom Hayden, and forced to pay the consequences.

This country has started to soften by not enforcing its laws, which is another indication of a Republic about to fall. All Democrats, along with the Hollywood elite, are sending us headlong into a total defeat in the Middle East, which will finally give Iran total dominance in the region. A lack of oil in the near future will be the final straw that dooms this Republic. However, if we refuse to let this happen and really get serious about an energy self-sufficiency program, this can be avoided.

I am afraid, however, that we are going in the opposite direction. If we elect Hillary Clinton and a Democrat controlled congress, and they carry through with allowing Iran to take control of the Middle East, continue to refuse development of nuclear energy, refuse to allow drilling for new oil, and continue to do nothing but oppose everything Bush, it will be over in terms of what we view as the good life in the USA.

Now, do I think that all who do not support the war are un-American---of course not. They just do not understand the importance of total victory in that region. Another failure of George Bush is his inability to explain to the American people why we are there, and why we MUST win. By the way, it is not a war. The war was won four years ago. It is martial law that is under attack by Iranian and Syrian outside influences, and there is a difference.

So, what do I believe? What is the bottom line? I will simply say that the Democratic Party has fielded the foulest, power hungry, anti-country, self absorbed group of individuals that I have observed in my lifetime. Our educational system is partially to blame for allowing the mass of America to be taken in by this group. George Bush has done the best he can with the disabilities that he possesses. A President must communicate with the people. And, I would tell you that Desert Storm spoiled the people. Bush Senior’s 100-hour war convinced the people that technology has progressed to the point that wars could be fought with no casualties and won in very short periods of time. I remember feeling at the time, that this was a tragedy for the US military. To win wars, you must put boots on the ground. When you put boots on the ground, soldiers are going to die. A President must make the war decision wisely, and insure that the cause is right before using his last political option. However, CONTROLLING IRAN AND DEMOCRATIZING THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE ONLY CHOICE IF WE ARE HELL-BENT ON DEPENDING ON THEM FOR OUR FUTURE ENERGY NEEDS.
