Shoher Tactics for Islamic Terrorism

Here is an interesting theory on executing a war on terrorism when there is so much public support for the terrorists a “Collective Liability” should apply to civilian supporters of terrorism. It is a portion of a chapter from a book entitled “Samson Blinded: a Machiavellian Perspective on the Middle East Conflict” by Obadiah Shoher.

Evidently Shoher is a pseudonym. Shoher writes in the hyper-militant Jewish style of Rabbi Meir Kahane. Kahane was considered a racist Jew by moderate and Leftists of both Israel and America. The racism stems from Kahane’s writings that definitively proposes a plan to give incentives for Arabs that call themselves Palestinians to vacate the West Bank. Further Kahane’s writings promoted a policy of forcibly expelling West Bank Arabs if they did not leave willing. And even further Kahane promoted transforming Israel (or at least a portion of Israel) from a secular State to a Jewish theocratic State.

Needless to say Kahane was not endeared by Israeli Leftists or politically correct Israeli moderates. Kahane was jailed for his writing and the organizations it formed around Kahane’s extreme thoughts. Kahane even won a seat in Israel’s Knesset; however he was booted out for his views.

Since Obadiah Shoher writes in the spirit of Rabbi Kahane, he has chosen anonymity so that lunatic Muslims cannot assassinate him like Kahane.

Shoher’s writing are extreme as the portion entitled “Collective Liability for Anti-Israel Terrorism”. I know Shoher’s thoughts on rules of engagement with Muslim terrorists and the Muslim population that supports them are definitely not politically correct. I also know if the West (inclusively Israel) cannot wrap their minds around the fact that Muslim terrorists could care less about Western protocols that have led to such war rules as the Geneva Conventions.

Since the Geneva Conventions are not even close to concepts taught by the Quran and Mohammed, Muslim terrorists laugh at any obligation of Western war rules of engagement.

As far as Muslim terrorists are concerned Western concepts of Justice and Civil Liberty are a weakness to be exploited. Hence Muslim terrorists have no qualms of integrating supportive civilian Muslims in their agenda. In essence Muslim civilian support for terrorists by extension makes the civilian a terrorist. If the civilian does not wish the consequences of a terrorist, then the Muslim civilian should renounce Islamic terrorism and aid in eradicating terrorism.

It sounds rough nonetheless battling Muslim extremism in the same way as we do today (particularly with appeasement tactics) will eventually erode Western and American culture into non-existence.

GWOT is more than Criminal Investigation and Conventional War

Islamic terrorism on a global scale is in effect a war of global circumstances; thus the moniker "Global War on Terrorism" (GWOT).

In war there is a necessity in democratic nations to limit certain civil rights because a war with a nation or a transnational Islamist requires the ability to engage in a military style rather than a civil style.

Otherwise spies or terrorists will utilize civil liberty laws as a weapon to reach their desired goal, which is the defeat of their foe.

In the case of Australia, a measured limitation of civil rights enabled the Australian government to catch home grown terrorists following transnational Islamic ideological terrorism.

Kudos to Australia!

Leftists should the success to understand the GWOT and not whine about giving rights to agents of murder based on international ideology.

Indeed Daniel Pipes writing for The Australian contradicts the Leftist attitude that transnational terrorism is an unwinnable war. Pipes focuses on military tactician retired Israeli Major General Yaakov Amidror.

Amidror appears to believe that using tactics different than conventional war yet with the same persistence of acquiring victory is the path to defeating transnational terrorism. Victory may not be a moment as when a nation signs surrender and terminating the war. Transnational terrorists are not nations and usually do not abide by international conventions.

Tactics must change to squelching transnational terrorists and their resources to render them ineffective. This would be a limited or transitory victory in which vigilance needs to be used to continue the experience of peace after the crushing of transnational resources is complete.

Read Pipes! It is a paradigm shift to the typical Leftist hide your head in the sand and hope the problem mysteriously disappears of its own accord.

A Lesson in Enemy Tactics

I took a rare visit to a MSN group today. I have had a long association with a group known as The Conservative Village. The irony is the group started to slowly attract Leftie Moonbats that posted more often than the Conservative fellows that were supposed to be attracted there. I started revisiting the group recently and found that many also had stopped visiting. The group is slowly beginning to re-attract Conservatives back; however the posts are not as frequent (yet) as in the good old days.

I know many of you could care less about an MSN group history. But here is the thing, sometimes a brilliant piece of writing comes along. This is one of those cases.

Poster WoodyUF wrote “A Lesson in Enemy Tactics.” I am giving credit to The Conservative Village for that is where I first found the concise essay. I found out that WoodyUF has a blog in which he also posted this marvelous essay in which all should think about visiting. I’ll begin with the saga of the British sailors’ capture by Iran and the events subsequent, but make no mistake; this tactic and the disease it engenders goes much deeper than we care to realize. It is a standard tool of the left and its all too willing media accomplices here in America, and it threatens our very existence. I know, some of you have already begun the obligatory eye-roll, thinking that I engage in alarmist bloviation. That’s fine, but read on and see how you feel at the end, then let me know if the inside of your eyelids look better than what I describe, fair enough? Good, let’s go…

Aside from the overtly insane, e.g Rosie, who from the outset claimed that the British sailors’ capture was an orchestrated event to pave the way to war with Iran, there were also many media outlets in the free world wondering aloud if the Brits had indeed strayed into Iranian waters and whether Iran had a right to their actions. The UK claimed immediately that it had GPS proof that their people were in Iraqi waters, but no one bothered to ask for that proof. Then we were treated to multiple photos of the sailors laughing and “being treated well”, which aside from failing to be dismissed as Iranian propaganda was not even mentioned as a violation of the Geneva Conventions, something the left claims to hold dear. Apparently only when we could possibly be perceived as violators of such.

Now the sailors are free and they are speaking out about the treatment they received at the hands of their captors. They are saying that they were “blindfolded, bound and stripped” and that they were “under constant psychological pressure”, all things that are considered torture if inflicted by Americans by today’s standards. The reaction thus far? Iran is stealing a page from the Democrats playbook in responding that the sailors were treated well and are now being forced, by their own government, to lie about Iran! Wait for it, kids…there will be a stampede by leftist “experts” such as Sean Penn and his ilk to be the first aboard the Iranian bandwagon on this.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the Clintons are the pioneers of this tactic. They mastered the art of doing whatever they pleased and then turning the guns on those who had caught them in the act, accusing the discoverers of engaging in a witch hunt. In my mind that is akin to pleading to the judge that your speeding ticket is the result of the police actually doing their jobs because they had the unmitigated audacity to monitor your speed.

So now we have Ahmadinejad claiming a “vast Western conspiracy” and it remains to be seen if his tactic will take hold here at home. I fear that it may. With the shrinkage of the world brought about by the advent of the world wide web, the examples of our corrupt politicians are being mimicked and utilized to the advantage of those who wish us harm. They know what sells here, and they have donned the classic plaid sport coat of the best used car salesmen of all time. They are becoming the hucksters who can bring us down and we cannot allow that to happen.

Sometimes I feel as though I have been the victim of a diabolical plot to make me think I’ve gone insane and that all that I knew to be true was a lie. That is what the enemies of America, both home and abroad, have been successful in doing. They have subverted truth and made believers out of willing dupes who think that if the newspaper says it, it’s true. Many of us know better, but we fight an uphill battle much as the sane person does when trying to escape the asylum.

Pray that propaganda loses.
