Speeches at U.N. General Assembly

The Holocaust denier Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave a Twelver Shi’ite sermon to the U.N. General Assembly. The sermon praised the oneness of God (no doubt Allah before the translator gave the English version), the human prophets from Adam to Mohammed (including Jesus as a mere human), truth, democracy, and every other principle that a kafir would laugh concerning the Iranian hypocrisy.

The next day President Barack Hussein Obama gave his America can do better and siding with Arabs that Palestine has a right to exist as a sovereign nation. The pro-Palestine speech effectively is the first time an American President has called Israel an occupier of foreign land. BHO’s ignorance is displayed by the fact that the land had Jewish settlers before 1948, it is Biblically Jewish and the land was won as a result of a failed invasion of Israel by multiple Arab nations in 1967. The other Arab State was supposed to be Transjordan (Jordan) until the British set up the Hashemite Kingdom up as a sovereign nation before a Palestine Two-State creation was implemented in the British Mandate. The Jordanian effort in invading Israel in 1948 and 1967 was not to repatriate Arabs by destroying Israel. The Jordanian design was to get its piece of the pie in dividing destroyed Israel. Jordan partially achieved their goal in 1948 by stalemating Israel Defense Forces outside of what became known to Westerners as the West Bank. At this time Arabs left over from the old Palestine Mandate could have declared a separate Arab State in that West Bank. That did not happen! Jordan asserted sovereignty over the acquired Palestine Mandate land which included what became known as East Jerusalem.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave his U.N. speech on September 24. Netanyahu’s speech was not a reprisal of President BHO’s speech encouraging the usurpation of Jewish land under the appeasement delusion a Palestinian State will bring peace to the Middle East. Rather the Israeli Prime Minister used the world stage of the U.N. General Assembly to castigate Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s Holocaust denial with photos and documents demonstrating that Ahmadinejad is an anti-Semite Shi’ite liar.

Abbas Has a Conspiracy: Eliminate Hamas and Discredit Israel

Here is an interesting conspiracy theory reported by the DEBKAfile. Evidently Mahmoud Abbas has a plan to expel any kind of international legitimacy Hamas is enjoying by stacking the deck with a January 2010 election in which an Abbas supporting voter base will be enlarged for Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

DEBKAfile reports that Abbas believes that this will gain him 100% support to establish a Palestinian State beyond the National Security concerns of Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu. That means Obama will use the strong arm of America’s might to force Netanyahu to act favorably for a Palestine State.

By extension one could surmise Mahmoud Abbas’ anti-Israeli existence sentiment and the presumption that President Barack Hussein Obama will cripple Israel by forcing pre-1967 borders on the Jewish State is still part of Arab terrorist design.

Food for thought: The pre-1967 borders would force Israel to give up half of its Capital City Jerusalem. That is Islamic Supremacist hogwash!

'Jerusalem Is Not Negotiable'

Apparently President Barack Hussein Obama issued orders to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu via America’s Ambassador to Israel demanding the Israeli government cease (like NOW) from any construction in what used to East Jerusalem.

That is to say Jews are not allowed to own or build land in the City of David because before 1967 Jordan had sovereignty over East Jerusalem.

As a blog I just read will note: Obama’s demand was moronically put forth even though Arabs are allowed to buy and live in land in what used to be West Jerusalem. Also the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are building illegally in Samaria and Judea (West Bank) in order to force out Jewish residents under the expectation the West (America in particular) will force the creation of a sovereign State to be known as Palestine.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman gave the appropriate response to the Obamessiah bully. In short summary, the word could be “TOUGH!”

The end of 'defeatism'

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech June 14 which has been equated to a response to President Barack Hussein Obama’s Cairo Speech.

Netanyahu’s speech can be summed up thus - The Likud led Israel is prepared to accept the notion of a Palestinian if:

Whoever it is representing the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians agree to a demilitarized State.

This Palestinian State must recognize the Jewish nature of the State of Israel.

Palestine does not force the Jewish settlements to leave which would be within a Palestinian authority.

David Parsons of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem has written an essay about the Palestinian response to Netanyahu’s speech. Yet again all the terrorists that are the ruling elites of the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians rejected Netanyahu’s offer. The message to Israel being: We the Arabs want everything we want without giving in to anything Israel’s desires for its National Security.

The end of 'defeatism'

Even by Palestinian standards, the swift and complete rejection of an Israeli peace overture was baffling.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had just delivered his landmark policy speech on June 14 in which he had finally come to terms with the eventual creation of a Palestinian state. This should be cause for rejoicing on the Palestinian side.

Granted, his acceptance was saddled with stiff preconditions – such a state must be demilitarized and the Palestinians must also recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland. But these were quite reasonable opening demands by any objective measure. Even US President George W. Bush had set out stringent criteria for American recognition of a future Palestinian state. So why the sudden, hysterical invective from the Palestinian camp?

Within minutes of Netanyahu concluding his address at Bar-Ilan University, Saeb Erekat and the other professional complainers in the employ of the Palestinian Authority were lashing out at him in the media with personal insults and threats of a third intifada. Bibi was branded a “con-man and a liar” who had just buried the peace process alive. They mocked Netanyahu, insisting that in a thousand years he could not find a single Palestinian who would want to negotiate with him.

Even their friends in the leftist Israeli press were scratching their heads at the unusually “impulsive,” “frantic” and “petty” reactions of PA officials. After all, there was little new in Netanyahu’s stated positions. On Jerusalem, refugees, settlements, security concerns – he stuck to familiar red lines that surprised no one. So the guessing game began – was it a pre-planned ambush or a spontaneous vent.

Some surmised that the PA’s brusque response stemmed from their acute disappointment that the recent pressure applied on Netanyahu by US President Barack Obama had apparently not squeezed him hard enough. They were riding high following Obama’s own historic address to the Muslim world from Cairo just ten days earlier, in which he had identified so strongly with Palestinian “suffering,” while demanding that all Israeli settlement activity must stop. Calling his administration the “friendliest in decades” to the Palestinian cause, one PA official had confided, “We can be calm; it is the Israelis who should be worried.”

So when Netanyahu deftly managed to extricate himself from the ropes in a half-hour speech that was very “Zionist” at that, the Palestinians were livid.

But while most observers were busy analyzing Netanyahu’s sober address in comparison to Obama’s lofty oratory in Cairo, the real focus should have been on contrasting his text and tone with the policy statements of his predecessor-in-office, Ehud Olmert. For herein lies the real source of Palestinian consternation.

They had grown accustomed to an Israeli leader who maintained, “We are tired of fighting. We are tired of winning.” Last summer, Olmert insisted, “Israel’s problem is that it has no borders.” He told his cabinet, "The vision of a 'Greater Israel' is over.” In a farewell interview at Rosh Hashanna last fall, Olmert conceded, “we have no choice but to… withdraw” from the West Bank. And in one of his final official comments before stepping down, Olmert went further than any Israeli leader before him in expressing “sorrow” for the “suffering” and displacement of Palestinian refugees. His critics had summed up such public rhetoric as “defeatism.”

Meanwhile in private talks with PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas, Olmert had offered over 97% of the West Bank for a Palestinian state and reportedly opened the door to a ‘symbolic’ return of thousands of refugees. His proposals went well beyond the generous offer of Ehud Barak at the failed Camp David summit of July 2000. Once again, the Palestinians said “No!”

Yet now, in one fell swoop, Netanyahu had cleared the air of the defeatist approach, restored Israel’s red lines, deflected American pressure, and thrown the ball back into the Palestinians’ court. It swiftly sunk in that they were indeed facing a much tougher bargainer, and in a thousand years will never get a sweeter deal out of Netanyahu than they could have wrested from other recent prime ministers.

The onus is now on Abbas and his PA colleagues to not only answer why they are unwilling to sit down for talks with Netanyahu. They must also explain why they are always the ones saying “No” to a Palestinian state whenever it is within reach.

Honored guests, citizens of Israel.

Peace has always been our people’s most ardent desire. Our prophets gave the world the vision of peace, we greet one another with wishes of peace, and our prayers conclude with the word peace.

We are gathered this evening in an institution named for two pioneers of peace, Menachem Begin and Anwar Sadat, and we share in their vision.

Two and half months ago, I took the oath of office as the Prime Minister of Israel. I pledged to establish a national unity government – and I did. I believed and I still believe that unity was essential for us now more than ever as we face three immense challenges – the Iranian threat, the economic crisis, and the advancement of peace.

The Iranian threat looms large before us, as was further demonstrated yesterday. The greatest danger confronting Israel, the Middle East, the entire world and human race, is the nexus between radical Islam and nuclear weapons. I discussed this issue with President Obama during my recent visit to Washington, and I will raise it again in my meetings next week with European leaders. For years, I have been working tirelessly to forge an international alliance to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Confronting a global economic crisis, the government acted swiftly to stabilize Israel’s economy. We passed a two year budget in the government – and the Knesset will soon approve it.

And the third challenge, so exceedingly important, is the advancement of peace. I also spoke about this with President Obama, and I fully support the idea of a regional peace that he is leading.

I share the President’s desire to bring about a new era of reconciliation in our region. To this end, I met with President Mubarak in Egypt, and King Abdullah in Jordan, to elicit the support of these leaders in expanding the circle of peace in our region.

I turn to all Arab leaders tonight and I say: “Let us meet. Let us speak of peace and let us make peace. I am ready to meet with you at any time. I am willing to go to Damascus, to Riyadh, to Beirut, to any place- including Jerusalem.

I call on the Arab countries to cooperate with the Palestinians and with us to advance an economic peace. An economic peace is not a substitute for a political peace, but an important element to achieving it. Together, we can undertake projects to overcome the scarcities of our region, like water desalination or to maximize its advantages, like developing solar energy, or laying gas and petroleum lines, and transportation links between Asia, Africa and Europe.

The economic success of the Gulf States has impressed us all and it has impressed me. I call on the talented entrepreneurs of the Arab world to come and invest here and to assist the Palestinians – and us – in spurring the economy.

Together, we can develop industrial areas that will generate thousands of jobs and create tourist sites that will attract millions of visitors eager to walk in the footsteps of history – in Nazareth and in Bethlehem, around the walls of Jericho and the walls of Jerusalem, on the banks of the Sea of Galilee and the baptismal site of the Jordan.

There is an enormous potential for archeological tourism, if we can only learn to cooperate and to develop it.

I turn to you, our Palestinian neighbors, led by the Palestinian Authority, and I say: Let’s begin negotiations immediately without preconditions.

Israel is obligated by its international commitments and expects all parties to keep their commitments.

We want to live with you in peace, as good neighbors. We want our children and your children to never again experience war: that parents, brothers and sisters will never again know the agony of losing loved ones in battle; that our children will be able to dream of a better future and realize that dream; and that together we will invest our energies in plowshares and pruning hooks, not swords and spears.

I know the face of war. I have experienced battle. I lost close friends, I lost a brother. I have seen the pain of bereaved families. I do not want war. No one in Israel wants war.

If we join hands and work together for peace, there is no limit to the development and prosperity we can achieve for our two peoples – in the economy, agriculture, trade, tourism and education - most importantly, in providing our youth a better world in which to live, a life full of tranquility, creativity, opportunity and hope.

If the advantages of peace are so evident, we must ask ourselves why peace remains so remote, even as our hand remains outstretched to peace? Why has this conflict continued for more than sixty years?

In order to bring an end to the conflict, we must give an honest and forthright answer to the question: What is the root of the conflict?

In his speech to the first Zionist Conference in Basel, the founder of the Zionist movement, Theodore Herzl, said about the Jewish national home “This idea is so big that we must speak of it only in the simplest terms.” Today, I will speak about the immense challenge of peace in the simplest words possible.

Even as we look toward the horizon, we must be firmly connected to reality, to the truth. And the simple truth is that the root of the conflict was, and remains, the refusal to recognize the right of the Jewish people to a state of their own, in their historic homeland.

In 1947, when the United Nations proposed the partition plan of a Jewish state and an Arab state, the entire Arab world rejected the resolution. The Jewish community, by contrast, welcomed it by dancing and rejoicing.

The Arabs rejected any Jewish state, in any borders.

Those who think that the continued enmity toward Israel is a product of our presence in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, is confusing cause and consequence.

The attacks against us began in the 1920s, escalated into a comprehensive attack in 1948 with the declaration of Israel’s independence, continued with the fedayeen attacks in the 1950s, and climaxed in 1967, on the eve of the six-day war, in an attempt to tighten a noose around the neck of the State of Israel.

All this occurred during the fifty years before a single Israeli soldier ever set foot in Judea and Samaria.

Fortunately, Egypt and Jordan left this circle of enmity. The signing of peace treaties have brought about an end to their claims against Israel, an end to the conflict. But to our regret, this is not the case with the Palestinians. The closer we get to an agreement with them, the further they retreat and raise demands that are inconsistent with a true desire to end the conflict.

Many good people have told us that withdrawal from territories is the key to peace with the Palestinians. Well, we withdrew. But the fact is that every withdrawal was met with massive waves of terror, by suicide bombers and thousands of missiles.

We tried to withdraw with an agreement and without an agreement. We tried a partial withdrawal and a full withdrawal. In 2000 and again last year, Israel proposed an almost total withdrawal in exchange for an end to the conflict, and twice our offers were rejected.

We evacuated every last inch of the Gaza strip, we uprooted tens of settlements and evicted thousands of Israelis from their homes, and in response, we received a hail of missiles on our cities, towns and children.

The claim that territorial withdrawals will bring peace with the Palestinians, or at least advance peace, has up till now not stood the test of reality.

In addition to this, Hamas in the south, like Hezbollah in the north, repeatedly proclaims their commitment to “liberate” the Israeli cities of Ashkelon, Beersheba, Acre and Haifa.

Territorial withdrawals have not lessened the hatred, and to our regret, Palestinian moderates are not yet ready to say the simple words: Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, and it will stay that way.

Achieving peace will require courage and candor from both sides, and not only from the Israeli side.

The Palestinian leadership must arise and say: “Enough of this conflict. We recognize the right of the Jewish people to a state of their own in this land, and we are prepared to live beside you in true peace.”

I am yearning for that moment, for when Palestinian leaders say those words to our people and to their people, then a path will be opened to resolving all the problems between our peoples, no matter how complex they may be.

Therefore, a fundamental prerequisite for ending the conflict is a public, binding and unequivocal Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people.

To vest this declaration with practical meaning, there must also be a clear understanding that the Palestinian refugee problem will be resolved outside Israel’s borders. For it is clear that any demand for resettling Palestinian refugees within Israel undermines Israel’s continued existence as the state of the Jewish people.

The Palestinian refugee problem must be solved, and it can be solved, as we ourselves proved in a similar situation. Tiny Israel successfully absorbed tens of thousands of Jewish refugees who left their homes and belongings in Arab countries.

Therefore, justice and logic demand that the Palestinian refugee problem be solved outside Israel’s borders. On this point, there is a broad national consensus. I believe that with goodwill and international investment, this humanitarian problem can be permanently resolved.

So far I have spoken about the need for Palestinians to recognize our rights. In am moment, I will speak openly about our need to recognize their rights.

But let me first say that the connection between the Jewish people and the Land of Israel has lasted for more than 3500 years. Judea and Samaria, the places where Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, David and Solomon, and Isaiah and Jeremiah lived, are not alien to us. This is the land of our forefathers.

The right of the Jewish people to a state in the land of Israel does not derive from the catastrophes that have plagued our people. True, for 2000 years the Jewish people suffered expulsions, pogroms, blood libels, and massacres which culminated in a Holocaust - a suffering which has no parallel in human history.

There are those who say that if the Holocaust had not occurred, the state of Israel would never have been established. But I say that if the state of Israel would have been established earlier, the Holocaust would not have occured.

This tragic history of powerlessness explains why the Jewish people need a sovereign power of self-defense.

But our right to build our sovereign state here, in the land of Israel, arises from one simple fact: this is the homeland of the Jewish people, this is where our identity was forged.

As Israel’s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion proclaimed in Israel’s Declaration of Independence: “The Jewish people arose in the land of Israel and it was here that its spiritual, religious and political character was shaped. Here they attained their sovereignty, and here they bequeathed to the world their national and cultural treasures, and the most eternal of books.”

But we must also tell the truth in its entirety: within this homeland lives a large Palestinian community. We do not want to rule over them, we do not want to govern their lives, we do not want to impose either our flag or our culture on them.

In my vision of peace, in this small land of ours, two peoples live freely, side-by-side, in amity and mutual respect. Each will have its own flag, its own national anthem, its own government. Neither will threaten the security or survival of the other.

These two realities – our connection to the land of Israel, and the Palestinian population living within it – have created deep divisions in Israeli society. But the truth is that we have much more that unites us than divides us.

I have come tonight to give expression to that unity, and to the principles of peace and security on which there is broad agreement within Israeli society. These are the principles that guide our policy.

This policy must take into account the international situation that has recently developed. We must recognize this reality and at the same time stand firmly on those principles essential for Israel.

I have already stressed the first principle – recognition. Palestinians must clearly and unambiguously recognize Israel as the state of the Jewish people. The second principle is: demilitarization. The territory under Palestinian control must be demilitarized with ironclad security provisions for Israel.

Without these two conditions, there is a real danger that an armed Palestinian state would emerge that would become another terrorist base against the Jewish state, such as the one in Gaza.

We don’t want Kassam rockets on Petach Tikva, Grad rockets on Tel Aviv, or missiles on Ben-Gurion airport. We want peace.

In order to achieve peace, we must ensure that Palestinians will not be able to import missiles into their territory, to field an army, to close their airspace to us, or to make pacts with the likes of Hezbollah and Iran. On this point as well, there is wide consensus within Israel.

It is impossible to expect us to agree in advance to the principle of a Palestinian state without assurances that this state will be demilitarized.

On a matter so critical to the existence of Israel, we must first have our security needs addressed.

Therefore, today we ask our friends in the international community, led by the United States, for what is critical to the security of Israel: Clear commitments that in a future peace agreement, the territory controlled by the Palestinians will be demilitarized: namely, without an army, without control of its airspace, and with effective security measures to prevent weapons smuggling into the territory – real monitoring, and not what occurs in Gaza today. And obviously, the Palestinians will not be able to forge military pacts.


Without this, sooner or later, these territories will become another Hamastan. And that we cannot accept.

I told President Obama when I was in Washington that if we could agree on the substance, then the terminology would not pose a problem.
And here is the substance that I now state clearly:

If we receive this guarantee regarding demilitirization and Israel’s security needs, and if the Palestinians recognize Israel as the State of the Jewish people, then we will be ready in a future peace agreement to reach a solution where a demilitarized Palestinian state exists alongside the Jewish state.

Regarding the remaining important issues that will be discussed as part of the final settlement, my positions are known: Israel needs defensible borders, and Jerusalem must remain the united capital of Israel with continued religious freedom for all faiths.

The territorial question will be discussed as part of the final peace agreement. In the meantime, we have no intention of building new settlements or of expropriating additional land for existing settlements.

But there is a need to enable the residents to live normal lives, to allow mothers and fathers to raise their children like families elsewhere. The settlers are neither the enemies of the people nor the enemies of peace. Rather, they are an integral part of our people, a principled, pioneering and Zionist public.

Unity among us is essential and will help us achieve reconciliation with our neighbors. That reconciliation must already begin by altering existing realities. I believe that a strong Palestinian economy will strengthen peace.


If the Palestinians turn toward peace – in fighting terror, in strengthening governance and the rule of law, in educating their children for peace and in stopping incitement against Israel - we will do our part in making every effort to facilitate freedom of movement and access, and to enable them to develop their economy. All of this will help us advance a peace treaty between us.

Above all else, the Palestinians must decide between the path of peace and the path of Hamas. The Palestinian Authority will have to establish the rule of law in Gaza and overcome Hamas. Israel will not sit at the negotiating table with terrorists who seek their destruction.

Hamas will not even allow the Red Cross to visit our kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit, who has spent three years in captivity, cut off from his parents, his family and his people. We are committed to bringing him home, healthy and safe.

With a Palestinian leadership committed to peace, with the active participation of the Arab world, and the support of the United States and the international community, there is no reason why we cannot achieve a breakthrough to peace.

Our people have already proven that we can do the impossible. Over the past 61 years, while constantly defending our existence, we have performed wonders.
Our microchips are powering the world’s computers. Our medicines are treating diseases once considered incurable. Our drip irrigation is bringing arid lands back to life across the globe. And Israeli scientists are expanding the boundaries of human knowledge.

If only our neighbors would respond to our call – peace too will be in our reach.

I call on the leaders of the Arab world and on the Palestinian leadership, let us continue together on the path of Menahem Begin and Anwar Sadat, Yitzhak Rabin and King Hussein. Let us realize the vision of the prophet Isaiah, who in Jerusalem 2700 years ago said: “nations shall not lift up sword against nation, and they shall learn war no more.”

With God’s help, we will know no more war. We will know peace.

The Tool of the Muslim-Arabs

Caroline Glick reports what Americans will never hear in the Mainstream Media (MSM).

President Barack Hussein Obama has become the dhimmi tool for Arab Muslims to accomplish that which they were unable to do via several wars of invasion; viz. placing Israel in a position of imminent destruction.

To ensure this Obama agenda to promote Islam to the detriment of the Jewish-Zionist State of Israel, BHO has appointed a minion in George Mitchell. Apparently Mitchell’s Obama mandate is to coerce Israel into making Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza into a viable sovereign State.

BHO has mandated that Mitchell set up his Office of coercion in Jerusalem which is staffed with Arabophile Americans who have a history of promoting the illegitimate cause of a group of Arabs establishing a State called Palestine.

So Prime Minister Netanyahu is in a position in which he has to protect Israel’s existence while stringing BHO along so that the Obamasiah does not cut off the American alliance with the ONLY Western style democracy in the Middle East. Just for clarity, that Western Style democracy is NOT the Islamic-mobocracy of the fractured terrorist leadership of the Palestine Authority and Hamas. Israel has all the elements of a viable republic in which the voting citizens have a voice in who manages the Israeli government. This incidentally includes Israeli-Arab citizens who are not Jewish friendly.

The PA/Hamas mobocracy wishes to exterminate Jews living in the West Bank. The Israeli government actually accommodated the Hamas mob in Gaza by forcing the Jews out. Did Hamas peacefully appropriate the viable business operation left behind by Jewish settlers in Gaza? NO! They not only trashed the viable Jewish infrastructure but the Hamas mob violated Left Behind synagogues.

Christian-Arabs had been a significant population in the West Bank. For years the majority population of the city of Bethlehem was the Christian-Arabs. Islamic persecution and supremacism has forced a significant amount of Christian-Arabs to flee the West Bank allowing the Muslim-Arabs to usurp their land and their livelihood.

Let us also mention that the official agenda of both PA Islamic terrorists and Hamas Islamic terrorists is to exterminate the Jewish State of Israel.

With all this in mind. How in the world does President Barack Hussein Obama honestly believe that creating a hostile State of Muslim Arabs called Palestine can remotely solve the Middle East’s peace problems?

Let me finish off my thoughts with Glick’s conclusions of what Prime Minister Netanyahu faces with the Obama agenda and his Mitchell minions:

And that's the thing of it. At the end of the day, Netanyahu has three main challenges that he must meet if he is to successfully protect Israel in the coming years. He must prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. He must secure Israel's national and strategic interests in Judea and Samaria and sole Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem. And he must do what he can to avoid an open breach with Washington.

By deploying Mitchell to Jerusalem, Obama is trying to prevent Netanyahu from achieving any of these aims. Only by neutralizing Mitchell will Netanyahu free his schedule to contend with them.

Can Bibi Hold it Together?

Carol Glick predicted that the execution of the BHO’s Cairo Speech is part of an agenda to discredit Prime Minister Netanyahu then implement meddling in Israel’s internal politics to bring down Netanyahu’s Likud coalition government. This would enable Obama-friendly and Palestine State-friendly Kadima led by Tzipi Livni to create the global Leftist agenda of creating a sovereign Palestine nation.

A sovereign Palestine would not decrease Middle Eastern violence, rather such an Arab abomination would another bullet in the gun aimed at Israel with the intention of the Jewish State’s destruction.

Obama's Arabian dreams

Caroline Glick critiques President Barack Hussein Obama’s Cairo Speech. Her theme is that BHO is portrays Israel in an evil light and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians as the moral equivalent of America’s Black slavery past.

As you read Glick keep this in the back of your mind. She points out that BHO Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emmanuel worked closely to discredit Prime Minister Netanyahu’s first stint as the Prime Minister of Israel while he was an advisor to President Clinton. She senses that Emmanuel is already at work to undermine Netanyahu by working Likud enemies in the Kadima Party and with Leftist American Jews. This implies using the Left propaganda machine to implant into Americans and Israelis that the “peace at all costs” mindset is the only way peace will come to the Middle East. This mindset of course is counter to Judeo-Christianity theologically and will politically quite possibly lead to the destruction of Israel.

Obama's Two-State Fantasy

I am an avid foe of the so-called Two-State solution that would create a sovereign Palestinian State populated by Arabs who are no more Palestinians than Jewish Israelis who are Mohammedans. (SA Here and Here)

In an Orthodox Jewish and Christian perspective Mohammedans have no more right to land today designated by Israel outsiders as the West Bank and Gaza Strip than do Arabs have a right to India.

Thusly one can concretely understand my view that Palestine should never come into existence.

A Middle East War Looming?

Here is some information from one of the top dogs in Conspiracy news – Prison Planet. The news article is entitled, “As Israel rages, US plans for Iran war re-emerge.”

Now I enjoy reading Conspiracy news however this kind of news is often derived from hear-say sources. Thus the reliability may be questionable because the truth is either stretched or if the news is on track with the source, confirmation is difficult to impossible to establish. News from coming Conspiracy news sources either look brilliant with the “I told you so” or the News appears laughable if it defies logic or tends to turn out just plain wrong.

This Prison Planet story has Prime Minister Netanyahu informing President Obama that Israel will go it alone to attack Iran if need be. The reality is such a desperate attempt at self-preservation would be at best a suicide mission if it succeeded.

The conclusion of Prison Planet is that if Israel goes it alone a Middle East war would emerge (that very well could expand into a World War); thus Obama chooses to prepare for war with the emerging enemies.

Neither Prison Planet nor I could divide decisively who those enemies would be except for the certainty of Iran. Because Hamas and Hezbollah line up with Iran such a war would divide the loyalties of the region. My guess is the Saudi leadership will have to decide to join the USA and Israel against Iran. Not because Saudi Arabia loves either nation but because Wahhabis hate Iranian Shi’ites. It is doubtful that the Wahhabi Saudis could stomach being on an equal to subservient plain with Iran.

Then there is Iraq. Such a war would surely line-up the Iraqi Sunni and Kurds against the Iraqi Shi’ites thus at the very least splitting the nation in two or at the worst into three hostile nations of a former Iraq.

Turkey would probably join the USA and Israel against Iran but not with gusto. There seems to be an unreasonable Turkish hatred toward the current largest national group without a sovereign nation – the Kurds.

Syria would join Iran out of existential need. Yet remember Syria is ruled by the minority Alawite-Shi’ites over the majority Syrian Sunnis. I suspect Lebanon would totally cease to exist as it is turn to pieces between American, Israeli and Turkish militaries on one side and Hezbollah, Syrian and rogue Iranian National Guard on the other end. Lebanon’s existence would be decided by the victors at the end of the regional conflict.

Then there are the wild card nations of Egypt and Jordan. Both of those nation’s citizens have a HUGE amount of sympathy for the Arabs who designate themselves as Palestinians. The first sympathies of the rulers of those two nations would be to counter the hated Iranian hegemonic plans for the Middle East; however Mohammedan riots no doubt urged by the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan) could mess up the governments of Egypt and Jordan neutralizing actual partnership with the USA to stay in power at their homes.

The current Afghan government would turn into a total puppet of the USA as the Taliban sympathetic populace will probably take up with the Islamic Terrorists stretching between both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Pakistan may disintegrate as a so-called secular Republic as the radical Islamic terrorists who have the hearts of both Afghanistan and Pakistan overrun Pakistan from one side as the current military looks over their back to see what action India will take expecting the worst.

Then comes the globalized part of any Middle East conflict. Russian and China by necessity will have to choose sides. At first glance those two nations may feel it is in their National Interest to go with Iran initially. On the other hand I can see a scenario that China and India join the USA against Iran out of (ironically) Capitalist market issues. Although China needs Middle Eastern oil, they are totally invested in American markets in which the USA owes the Red Chinese some dough.

China and Russia have put on a unified front militarily lately however I sense China would throw Russia under a bus in a heart beat if they thought the best chance to remain a powerful emerging wealth nation was to hook-up with America.

If China switched to support America in a Middle East war, Russia may bow out due to self-preservation. Or there is the uncertainty of the re-emergence of Russian hubris may cause the Russian government to go for broke by supporting Iran. It would not be the first time in Russian history that Russia appeared to be down for the count only to bounce back a victor. There is Russia versus Napoleon and Russia versus Hitler as examples.

I really don’t have a good guess about Russian in a Middle East conflict. As a Bible student I would guess Russia would join Iran and Syria merely because most Protestant Biblical prophetic based ministries expect Russia to come from the North to threaten Israel’s existence. If this turns out to be that prophetic time, when things look dire the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will step in on Israel’s behalf at the last moment to render a decisive victory for Israel.

If it is not that prophetic moment, then look toward traditional geopolitical maneuvering to line up the sides as the cards are slowly drawn for play.

At any rate Prison Planet views President Obama to have contingency plans ready to battle Iran.

Hopefully Netanyahu Follows Through

Now that Netanyahu has formalized a coalition government and is the official Prime Minister of Israel, he has come out of his corner swinging.

I heard yesterday that Netanyahu will take an Israeli unilateral response against Iran SOON if the chicken appeasing West (my embellishment) does nothing about imminent Iranian nukes.

General Patraeus the hero of the Iraq Surge told Congress recently that the threat a nuclear Iran poses to Israel’s existence will cause unilateral military action against Iranian nuke sites.

Apparently the U.S. Military is not working on the same page for Secretary of Defense Gates officially countered his Middle East War General saying if Israel launches a strike it will not be in 2009.

Keep in the Messianic Shi’ite Mullocracy has not been shy about warning America or Israel about retaliation for military adventurist activity against the Iranian nuke program.

Nathan Hodge writing for Danger Room (a Wired offshoot) examines the possibilities Israel will take if indeed a deterrent military strike is utilized against Iranian nuke capabilities. The scenarios that Hodge uses do give an image of concreteness to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s public dressing down of Iran nukes and the West’s inability to do anything but offer appeasement over those nukes.

Hodge examines potential flight paths that Israel might risk as well as long range missile strikes assuming that Israeli Jericho III multi-stage ballistic missile is very accurate.

Since I am a Christian Zionist Neocon that Middle Eastern Muslims and Leftists hate, it is no surprise that I pray for a successful mission for Israel. Indeed, I hope that the U.S.A. would join or at least secretly aid Israel in this endeavor.

Iran has thumbed its nose at the International Community about its nuke program. Iran has lied to the International Community about its nuclear program. Iran has prevented full disclosure inspections by the global nuclear watchdog IAEA. Iran claims its nuke program is peaceful for energy needs yet it is producing weapons grade uranium beyond the needs of peaceful energy. Iran is the largest Nation-State providing aid, training and relief to Islamic terrorists (both Shi’ite and Sunni).

Sounds a lot like Saddam Hussein’s former regime.

The West and the U.S.A. have twiddled their thumbs about the obvious intent of Iran’s agenda to develop WMD.

Heck yeah: go get’em Israel.

Hebrews vs. Philistines

Apparently when Likud’s Benjamin Netanyahu can get all his ducks in a row to form a Slanted Right Israeli government, Avigdor Lieberman has received the tap to be Foreign Minister.

This is interesting on many levels of global geopolitics.

Netanyahu of Likud and Lieberman of Yisrael Beiteinu both ran campaigns of strong defense against Israel’s Islamic enemies, which would include the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians from the Fatah dominated PA, Hamas dominated Gaza and Hezbollah (Iran influenced) Shi’ites from roughly southern Lebanon.

Both Netanyahu and Lieberman are not committed to the creation of a Palestinian State nor of giving up land that would weaken Israel’s defenses – such as the Golan Heights.

Lieberman in particular is no friend of Islamic Arabs. He is my kind of guy. He requires a loyalty oath to Israel from Arab-Israeli citizens and if need be the strengthening of a Jewish presence in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). I am assuming this means even if the Israeli government moves Islamic Arabs to repatriate them among the Arab nations in which they have a closer affinity.

Lieberman sounds harsh but is by no means novel. Turkey dispatched Greeks and Armenians out of Turkey to make the citizenry more Turkish. Once Israel successfully withstood the Islamic armies of several invading armies, the losers cast out more Jews than the alleged Palestinians (really Arabs) that were displaced by their own brethren.

I am saying Lieberman’s Israeli nationalism is part and parcel to self-preservation as well as a solution practiced by Islamic nations.

Now here is the thing. A Netanyahu and Lieberman government will be diametrically opposed to the appeasement policies of the Obama Administration in which Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is already proclaiming the inevitability of a creation of a Palestinian State.

Israel is truly in a David vs. Goliath in which a victory or defeat will lead to the preservation of the Land of Israel or its demise. Obviously the Obama Administration in cahoots with pro-Arab goals is the Philistine Goliath.

Obama and Israeli Left Join Forces to Israel’s Detriment

Caroline Glick has written an awesome essay relating to the political traps up coming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces from the Left in Israel (viz., so-called centrist Kadima Party) and the Obama Administration.

The Obama Administration in particular is trying to force the issue of booting Jewish residents from the West Bank to enable a psycho-Arab State to become sovereign right on Israel’s door step. Further the Obama Administration is bent on Fatah (of Mahmoud Abbas) and Hamas (of Khalid Mashal [Hiding in fear in Syria] and Ismail Haniyeh [Gaza]) forming a unified government. This would force Israel to recognize Hamas as a legitimate negotiator in the delusional Two-State solution. Also it would entail America adding legitimacy to a transnational terrorist organization that doesn’t even pretend to ever recognize Israel to exist as a nation. Adding American legitimacy to Hamas would validate Iran sending arms, training and money to Hamas to further Iran’s hegemonic goals which include the destruction of Israel.

Concerning President Barack Hussein Obama people should not be surprised.

Look at BHO’s Arab and Hamas supporting friends in his social and political fund raising career:

· BHO (at least socially) hung out with Rashid Khalidi, the former mouthpiece for PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat.

· Rashid Khalidi inherited his mantle from Edward Said (or Sayyid) that used pro-Palestinian/Arab rhetoric couple with his anti-Western Magnum Opus “Orientalism” to castigate Israel’s legitimacy to exist.

· While running for President, one of BHO’s foreign policy advisors Robert O’Malley had to be fired for getting caught holding extensive talks with Hamas. Do you think O’Malley unilaterally embarked on those talks? Only a moron would believe that Barack Hussein Obama had nothing to do with it.

· It has been revealed recently that Barack Hussein Obama intends talks with Hamas which is a certified terrorist organization by the State Department. This is inline with BHO’s history of hanging around anti-Semites and pro-Palestinian Arabs (who desire the destruction of Israel.

I am guessing a huge confrontation is developing between the Obama Administration and the government of Israel’s Netanyahu. Netanyahu will skillfully sidestep Obama’s weakening of Israel agenda, cave-in to Obama’s pressure concerning Israeli security and/or allowing BHO to form yet another hostile rogue Islamic sovereign nation to be formed next door placing Israel back into a 1948 position of Islamic invasions to slam Jews into the sea.

The Netanyahu Right

Well it is official; Israel President Shimon Peres has officially asked Netanyahu to form the next Israeli government.

The fun part of Parliamentary politics is that Netanyahu’s Likud Party actually finished the Israeli elections one seat less than Livni’s Kadima Party; however the spectrum of political parties by the voters was overwhelmingly to the Slanted Right. Even though Netanyahu lost to his rival Tzipi Livni by Party seat count (28-Kadima and 27-Likud), the right wing bloc of parties was bolster by third place finisher Avigdor Lieberman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party (English – Israel our Home). Thus including the other smaller Slanted Right secular and religious parties, Livni is the loser.

Netanyahu has six weeks to form a coalition government. Publicly Netanyahu wants to include Livni’s Kadima in a broad government however Livni has said that the potential differences in vision for Israel’s future means she will not join a Netanyahu led government.

Barring remarkable political negotiations it looks like Israel’s government may be a stark right wing vs. a stark left wing opposition.

There is one possibility that could isolate Livni and Kadima. Ehud Barak’s Labor Party (finished a dismal fourth) could opt to join a Netanyahu coalition. Livni would view this as a back stabbing betrayal to the Left’s cause of the delusion of giving away land to Arabs to form a sovereign Palestinian State banking on that bringing peace to Israel.

From modern Israel’s inception in 1948 through the Islamic terrorism of Arabs who wish to call themselves Palestinians demonstrate the Left thought process to be a delusion.

So here are the Netanyahu prospects with Livni’s Kadima:

1. Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu and the Slanted Right political parties hanging tight forming a slim majority government with a chomping at the heels Left opposition.
   
   
2. Or Likud, Yisrael Beiteinu, Labor and the Slanted Right political parties join together strengthening Netanyahu’s coalition to leave Kadima in the dirt.

In both scenarios that will place Netanyahu’s coalition at logger heads with the Obama Administration which has a vision more akin to Livni’s Kadima for Israel’s future and for the future of the Arab that call themselves Palestinians.

With the Middle East already a volatile place with the American military in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting a war on terror with Islamic terrorists (a terminology that BHO is intent to rename) matched with an adversarial Iran and Syria openly displaying hatred not only for America but for Israel as well; it will be interesting to watch the new dynamic of a Netanyahu government emerge.

Netanyahu Will NOT Divide Jerusalem

There is an election battle going on in Israel. The voting begins February 10. I wrote earlier that Netanyahu’s Likud Party though still head in the polls, is expected to barely have more seats than the current government of Kadima (formerly led by corrupt Ehud Olmert but now Tzipi Livni). The reason the long time favorite Netanyahu’s lead was shrinking is because of far Right Avigdor Lieberman candidate from the Yisrael Beiteinu Party. Lieberman has been surging in the polls.

I have learned recently that if Netanyahu wins he guarantees that Lieberman will have a prominent Ministry Portfolio in a Likud led government.

Government politics can be a fascinating thing to watch. When there are multiple political Parties that have a descent share of the Parliamentary seats (in this case called the Knesset) then coalitions must be developed in which blocs of Parties form the ruling government. I sense in Israel’s case the voters cast their lots for the Party that is Center Left or Center Right.

This means the Parties that are bit more on the Left/Right fringe are courted to make by the Center Left and the Center Right to form a majority government.

You can almost feel the smoke when Netanyahu speaks publicly saying that there will be a spot for far Right Yisrael Beiteinu (Lieberman) and almost Center Right Labor (Ehud Barak). This would leave avowed Centrist Party Kadima (although looking more and more Left since Sharon was incapacitated) nearly powerless.

In Parliamentary politics the final outcome is not really known until the coalitions are formed. Some of those coalitions will have Political Parties in them that have very divergent ideologies when all the smoke clears.

Now back to Benjamin Netanyahu: His Likud stand is that if elected, Israel will not give up the Golan Heights and will NOT divide Jerusalem with a potential Palestinian government.

For Christian Zionists as I am, Lieberman in a Netanyahu government solidifies Jerusalem not being divided.

Right Wing Politics Messing up Netanyahu

I have been praying that Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party is the winner of Israel’s Parliamentary elections on February 10. The reason being Netanyahu as Prime Minister would slow down the land for peace delusion and maybe even prevent it.

Netanyahu’s reasoning might be different than mine.

Netanyahu is a man that place’s a premium on Israeli National Security as a path to continued Israeli existence. He understands that the Fatah and Hamas Islamic terrorists of the Palestinian Authority are untrustworthy due to ideology or corruption or both. It’s like dealing with the devil for peace and tranquility: old slew foot will promise the world, riches and protection then give you death and destruction. A Netanyahu victory on February 10 will more than likely throw a huge monkey wrench in America’s and Europe’s push for a Two-State solution between Israel and the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians.

My reasoning is a bit more radical and unacceptable even across the Left/Right spectrum of American politics and incredulously Slanted Left Jews of America and Israel.

My reasoning goes like this: God gave the Promised Land to the Hebrews (present day Jews) as the foundation to eventually re-unite the globe of humanity with its Creator. Orthodox or Observant Jews probably have a Judaic view how this will happen; however the New Testament Jesus quoted view of the Promised Land is Salvation is of the Jews. For me that means all that is promised to the Jews culminates in the Son of Man who is also the Son of God – Jesus Christ the imprint of the image of God in human form. Jerusalem will be the Messiah’s Capitol City (that is agreed upon both in Judaism and Christianity, it is the ‘who’ that is disagreed upon). The Messiah will bring harmony to humanity and humanity will have an experiential knowledge of God Almighty through the Messiah (in my case the Christ).

My reasoning prohibits those that deny the coming of the Messiah promised in the Old Testament (again, for me which culminates in the New Testament) from possessing the Land promised to the Jews.

Is Netanyahu on board with my reasoning? I suspect that is extremely doubtful; nonetheless the path leads the same way as long as Netanyahu resists Western dhimmitude and rejects Muslims who have the sole goal of destroying Jews from the Land of Israel.

Now here is the bad news for Benjamin Netanyahu. The polls have long had Likud ahead of the current ruling government of Kadima (the give the Land away crowd). As February 10 is approaching Tzipi Livni’s Kadima has narrowed the margin in large part to a growing popularity of a man further to the Right than Netanyahu - Avigdor Lieberman.

As Israeli voters are becoming attracted to Lieberman’s right wing views, votes are straying from Netanyahu. As the votes stray from Netanyahu, Livni’s Kadima Party gains strength to the incredulous possibility of retaining the majority to form a government under Tzipi Livni.

This is not good in my opinion.

Netanyahu apparently does not like a possible association to Lieberman for he fears the Israeli votes will view him as to far to the Right and thus lose votes. I believe if Netanyahu re-thinks that strategy and extend an arm of joint government to Lieberman, Likud and Yisrael Beiteinu (Israel is Our Home) Party could effectively remove the Kadima/Labor bloc in the Knesset making it even easier to show Israel’s determination to NOT be wiped off the map by Islamic radicals.

Benjamin Netanyahu is leading in the polls to become the next Prime Minister of Israel after the February 10, election.

This is good because if Netanyahu acts as he talks, Israel will find the cajones that Ehud Olmert some how lost trying to give land for peace with hostile Islamic neighbors.

Netanyahu says his priority as Prime Minister is to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear arsenal. His next priority is Hamas: If Hamas continues to shoot Qassams into Israel, Netanyahu will have the IDF of Israel remove Hamas as a ruling regime in Gaza.

Can Netanyahu Reverse Olmert/Kadima Damage?

Likud Party Benjamin (or Binyamin) Netanyahu is expected to whup the current ruling Kadima Party headed by Tzipi Livni and disgraced by current caretaker Prime Minister Ehud Olmert of Israel.

Ehud Olmert in an effort to comply with multiple Western governments’ opinion has sold out to the idea that the creation of a sovereign Palestinian State which includes giving up land acquired via defensive wars from multiple invading Islamic Arab nations.

The fallacy of this thinking is evident in continued terrorism more recently by Hamas and yet includes so-called managed Islamic terrorists of the Fatah dominated Palestine Authority.

Benjamin Netanyahu represents the Israeli voters that view the Ariel Sharon initiated “Disengagement” as an Israeli security problem (secular) and a dissolution of Israeli heritage (religious). Olmert continued this Disengagement to the point of booting out tens of thousands of Jewish settlers from their property in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Gaza.

Livni is trying to draw an image of Netanyahu as a person that will make Israel so right wing that it will harm relations with America.

Netanyahu says his government will not be right wing.

Even if Netanyahu takes a moderate path, any derailment of the American driven goal of creating a sovereign Palestinian State will probably run awry of President Obama’s continued Bush endeavors concerning Palestine.

If Netanyahu adds some metal to his backbone to indeed stand up to an Obama Administration directive to make a State out of Israel’s mortal enemies, will Obama toss Israel to the Muslim wolves?
