Constitutional Venting and some Political Humor

Leftists have been trying for years to remove symbols of Christianity from public display for years. The lame reason given for this outrage is the Leftist interpretation of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. (Cornell University Law School)

The Left has rewritten the meaning of the clause that is written as: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”

This disestablishmentarian clause has married to a concept NO WHERE found in the U.S. Constitution; i.e. the concept of Church and State in the sense the government funds (public money) cannot be associated with religion (to the Left this means Christianity). By extension that would mean anything to do with Christian phraseology is prohibited to be part of anything that is publicly funded by taxes (e.g. Court Houses, Public Schools, City Councils and you get the idea).

The Founding Fathers intention by the disestablishmentarian clause is to ensure the government did not establish a State Church in which American citizens were forced to pay taxes to finance that State Church. The intention was NEVER to prevent religion (specifically the Christian religion) from influencing the government.

The judicial fiat that has interpreted the disestablishmentarian clause as “separation of Church and State” ignores the rest of the First Amendment; viz. (Congress shall make no law) “prohibiting the free exercise thereof” (i.e. religion, especially Christianity). The next clause that can be read as (Congress shall make no law) “abridging the freedom of speech” also includes religion; ergo Christian phraseology at public meetings or public works or public buildings cannot be abridged.

“Abridge” according to thefreedictionary.com is defined:

2. To cut short; curtail.

Verb 2. lessen, diminish, or curtail; "the new law might abridge our freedom of expression"
curtail, restrict, curb, cut back - place restrictions on; "curtail drinking in school"

Abridging the exercise of free speech as it pertains to religion (particularly Christianity) should not be shortened or diminished. So whereas the government cannot interfere in religion, the free exercise and expression of religion cannot be prevented for individuals either in government or individuals utilizing government programs (e.g. schools).

I am certain the Leftist Constitutional law experts will cry stare decisis has led to the ever tightening noose on Christian rights; however I have to believe the first case that began the “separation of Church and State” ideology should be reversed. Strict construction interpretation and American history of the use of religion in public should be the actual rule of thumb about interpreting the disestablishmentarian clause.

Now that I got that off my change I found some political humor at The Patriot Update which must have a connection to Townhall.com for the email I received used Townhall mail as its delivery system.

The Patriot Update uses the Ten Commandments of the Bible and rewrites them humorously as “The Ten Commandments According to Obama.”

Now in case you haven’t been to Sunday school in awhile here is a refresher course on the real Ten Commandments:

1. You shall have no other gods before me.

2. You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

5. Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

6. You shall not murder.

7. You shall not commit adultery

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s."

The Plus and Minus of Shadow Government

I just read a short blog post by Doug Powers on Michelle Malkin’s blog. Powers points to the hypocrisy of Leftists because President Barack Hussein Obama is continuing the Bush Administration’s shadow government plans allegedly developed under the supervision of Vice President Cheney.

Bloggers writing about a ‘shadow government’ would usually entail the old fashioned conspiracy theory as the actual government is submerged to the actual power elites of a nation. In America’s case it would be a de facto suspension or tossing the Constitution of the USA.

The reality is that every Western nation that has a modicum of political or military power probably has some sort of back-up plan in the case a modern crisis disable’s the operating government. I would have to guess some kind of contingency plan would have developed at least since the Cold War.

In these days of nuclear arsenals, disruptions could happen at the push of a button. In the 21st century a government disruption may be even more sudden. Regardless of how a Leftist government tries to wrap today’s reality, this planet is experiencing a Global War of Terror. This means resourceful terrorists that are well funded on a transnational basis is very capable of exploiting the openness of a Western democratic republic or constitutional monarchy. The exploitation may manifest in a dirty bomb, a suitcase nuke, chemical weapon, biological terror and/or some sort of infrastructure attack (computers, power plants, water supply, EMP or such).

America after 911 provided a situation in the effective government to more openly admit the existence of a government contingency plan that centralizes power to meet a crisis, i.e. a shadow government.

The existence of President Bush’s executive order to establish a shadow government thus came under scrutiny by both Leftists intent on whining about the conservative nature of the Bush Administration and the Slanted Right concerned about the Constitutional nullification issues that arise with such a ‘no checks and balances’ centralized government.

Now check it out! The prince of American Leftists in America is not only continuing President Bush’s Shadow government plan, but appears to be strengthening the role of the military as the arbiter of that shadow government.

Frankly the American Left and the American Right should both be raising red flags (oops the Left has already done that) or caution flags. The termination of the U.S. Constitution would affect both the altruism of Leftist ideology and the slanted Right sanctity of strict constructionist constitutionalism. The give and take that has brought balance to America for so many years prior to judicial activism would definitely tilt to the evil of corrupting power on either side of the spectrum.

And yet the dilemma is some sort of order or a path to return to order has to be in effect to confront the designs of foreign or transnational threats to the American people.

It appears there are two threats to the constitutional American way of life: well funded transnational terrorism and a necessary rapid response to confront the actions of rogue governments or transnational terrorists.

The real American hero will be an Abraham Lincolnesque person with a just intent for the American future.

The American traitor will be the Benedict Arnoldesque person willing to sell out the American way of life for personal gain or ideological elitism (Left or Right).

The former will use extra-constitutional means in order to return constitutional rule of law. The later will use the crisis to terminate the U.S. Constitution to implement an ideological centralized government eliminating the ‘checks and balances’ the Founding Fathers developed to lesson a tyranny of the government.

Abraham Lincoln skirted many constitutional restraints in order to preserve the Union of the United States of America. Lincoln and/or the relatively young Republican Party could have tossed the U.S. Constitution to force a different kind of America to evolve. If Lincoln’s leadership lost the Civil War the American States no doubt would have fractured into banana republics similar to the turmoil Latin America has experienced after slowly gaining independence from the Spanish empire.

A successful terrorist attack straining the infrastructure of America will no doubt place an individual calling the shots in a shadow government with the same dilemmas President Lincoln faced in a less complicated time. Will that person be a leader of honor in the mold of Washington and Lincoln or an ideologue wishing to transform America into a political vision of either the Left or the Right?

The Roman Republic transfer to the Roman Empire is a rough parallel that comes to mind.

Hawaii contradicts network boss' claim that Obama certificate no longer exists

Directly contradicting CNN chief Jon Klein – who ordered host Lou Dobbs to quit discussing President Obama's birth certificate – the Hawaii Department of Health affirmed that no paper birth certificates were destroyed when the department moved to electronic record-keeping.

"I am not aware of any birth certificate records that have been destroyed by the department," Janice Okubo, public information officer for the Hawaii DOH, told WND. "When the department went electronic in 2001, vital records, whether in paper form or any other form, [were] maintained. We don't destroy records."

Okubo affirmed that beginning in 2001, all vital records, including birth records, moved to electronic formats.

"Any records that we had in paper or any other form before 2001 are still in file within the department," she insisted. "We have not destroyed any vital statistics records that we have."

Last Thursday, Klein, CNN's U.S. president, told staffers of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" the issue of Obama's birth certificate and his eligibility to be president is a "dead" story.

According to MediaBistro.com, Klein wrote in an e-mail that CNN researchers found Hawaiian records were discarded in 2001 when the state's records system went electronic. Therefore, Klein said, Obama's original long-form birth certificate no longer exists. A computer-generated abbreviated version that has been promoted on the Internet is the official record, he said.

"It seems to definitively answer the question," Klein wrote. "Since the show's mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. And then it seems this story is dead – because anyone who still is not convinced doesn't really have a legitimate beef."

Hawaii's Okubu refused to say whether the DOH has Obama's original long-form birth certificate, explaining state law prohibited her from commenting on the birth records of any specific person.

Okubu's refusal to comment on the status of Obama's long-form birth certificate seemed to contradict an Oct. 31, 2008, letter by Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of health for the state of Hawaii. Fukino claimed she personally saw and could verify that Hawaii had Obama's original long-form birth certificate on file.

But both Okubu and Fukino are now on the record contradicting CNN's claim that Hawaii had destroyed Obama's long-form birth certificate when the health department went electronic in 2001.

The White House has refused to acknowledge repeated requests from WND that Obama authorize the Hawaii DOH to release all his birth records, including his original long-form birth certificate.

WND also has reported Obama has not released his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and his adoption records.

WND also has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."

In addition, the question over Obama's eligibility is being raised on billboards nationwide.

The billboard campaign follows an ongoing petition campaign launched several months ago by WND Editor and Chief Executive Officer Joseph Farah.

Anglican priest disgraces authentic Christianity

Have you ever heard the name Naim Ateek (an Anglican Priest)? If you hear or see that name it should evoke images of Judas Iscariot betraying Jesus the Christ.

Ateek is a classic example of Anti-Semitic propaganda that is prevalent in Europe (I presume Britain in Ateek’s case) and is now gained a forum of listeners in America.

Ateek is an Anglican Priest who has made a living of calling Israel a genocidal nation. He calls Arabs that call themselves Palestinians an oppressed people. All this remarkable venom he levels against Israel even though the Arabs calling themselves Palestinians are Jew-hating terrorists or at the least supporters of Jew-hating terrorists.

Professor Gates held fundraiser for Obama

Wow! I just discovered the reason President Barack Hussein Obama reacted with such vehemence when Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. was arrested for not corroborating with an Officer verifying his identity after a burglary report in the neighborhood.

Can you imagine! Professor Gates became bent out of shape when an officer who happened to be White asked for identification to confirm Professor Gates was the resident and not a burglar. The reason for Gates’ ire: Professor Gates is an Afro-American and he was not about to racially profiled by a White Police Officer attempting to do his duty.

Dear God in Heaven dude! Just show your ID and call it a night.

Anyway, I believe President BHO became upset not only because of a personal friendship and Gates being a Contributor to past and present political campaigns; BHO is also an ideological fellow traveler with Marxist supporter of radical black ideas Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

British Govt. Targets Savage’s Jewishness in Ban

I have to confess I am not a big fan of Michael Savage. His version of the Slanted Right appears to be a bit harsh. On the other hand he is battling CAIR so I do have a bit interest in Savage at the moment.

Recently Savage was on a list of undesirables forbidden to enter the United Kingdom. I haven’t followed up on the certainty of a WND report that the incoming Home Secretary was removing Savage from that list.

Now information has been dredged up that Michael Savage was placed on that ‘forbidden to enter’ list because he is Jewish by heritage. Evidently the British government in typical Leftist egalitarian fashion that most of Europe is noted for these days did not wish to appear to be singling out Muslims for that list. The word came down to place Jewish Savage on the list in an effort to bring balance to the amount of Muslims on the list.

I guess this is the logical step for a nation willing to abandon its Western heritage to accommodate an immigrant Muslim culture by allowing Sharia Law to trump British law when it comes to intra-Muslim affairs in Britain. Couple this Muslim accommodation with rising European (including Britain) anti-Semitism, I guess the next logical step is to ban an American Jew as if that will placate the indigenous immigrant Muslim population.

Now that is a load of British manure.

Fight Evil with Good

When Christ found me (I certainly was not looking for Him), I was an agnostic. My agnosticism was in the sense that I believed in the unexplained supernatural spiritual and in a supreme Creator; however my belief was the Creator could care less as to what happens in the physical realm.

I had a girlfriend who was a Christian (Full disclosure: the first wife). I was informed no romance in our dating was possible without Christ. So I made a deal.

The deal: I would examine the Bible to prove it was not truth for it was a bunch of words full of contradictions. If she could not refute my findings, the dating game was on. If she could refute my findings, Church bound I would be.

Honestly I did not get past the Beatitudes before Christ revealed Himself to me in a tangible way that I knew was reading the Truth of God Almighty.

So what is my point?

I was reading an article from the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission (CADC) that actually provoked a recollection of the days that Salvation overtook me by the Grace and Mercy by the Redemptive act of the Son of God. The article is entitled, “Why Does God Allow His Enemies to Succeed?”

The question is really an ages old question: If God is absolute Good, why does evil exist? Here I have no intention of tackling the essence of that question; however the question in the article started me to thinking about Christian conduct.

The essence of the CADC article questions the success upon success of evil via moral degradation (e.g. abortion, homosexuality, pornography etc.) and of the existence of reprehensible violence in the world (especially the violence perpetrated on Christian Believers). The article then plugs the Christian into the equation: If God allows such evil, should the Christian simply rollover to the inevitability of wickedness or should the Christian suck it up and take an active stand for God against evil.

Now here was my thought. Jesus Christ the Son of God was incarnated into human flesh in order for His human life to be unjustly terminated in so the twisted nature bequeathed by Adam would be straightened, the slate of sin erased and the Image of God through Christ planted into our human spirit redeeming humanity from the darkness prevalent in humanity and the world.

The example of Christ leading to that point was one of miracles, healings, the telling of the Good News of the significance of Salvation in Christ and non-retaliation to carnally inspired animosity. Indeed Believers in Christ are told to love their enemies and to do to others as you would have others do to you.

The point of the Good News is not to question the reason for the existence of evil in the Presence of the absolute goodness of God. Rather the point is to confront evil with Good (i.e. the Goodness of God).

Every path has a goal. The goal of humanity is to fulfill God’s purpose for humanity. Honestly I cannot attest to the very purpose God has for humanity. I can say I have read loads of books in which good Believing authors pointed toward many credible purposes God intends for His human creation. Instead of bouncing from “that sounds good to me” or “that one sound goods too,” I have settled for the full revelation of God’s purpose has yet to be revealed.

One thing is irrefutable though: God created humanity for a purpose that would eclipse the utility of other created sentient beings (e.g. angels).

The top created being before the creation of humanity appears to be an individual by the name of Lucifer. Old Lucifer was created good. For some inexplicable reason Lucifer figured he could be the top dog above his Creator. As far as I can tell this was time that evil entered existence.

Lucifer the Morning Star then became Satan the adversary. Then BOOM! God gave Satan and a third of the angels Satan convinced to be his followers the boot.

Now somewhere in time God created His first human being in His very Image and Likeness. The name Adam was assigned to him. Then God created from Adam a mate and called her name Eve. (Let’s loose the speculation of temporal time or if there were multiple Adams forming an Adamite race)

Evidently part of evil is jealousy. For Satan became jealous of any purpose Adam and future human descendants may have that would demote angelic beings (or in slew foot’s case, fallen angels).

Satan’s jealousy led to a purpose for Satan the adversary: the enslavement and/or destruction of God’s loved creation that humanity represented. You probably know the story from here. Satan tricked Adam through his love for Eve (yeah that is speculation) with the lie that Adam and Eve could become gods in like fashion as the Creator.

It is in that placing faith in Satan above God that the Image of God-nature in humanity became twisted and akin to the nature of Satan the adversary. It is the twisted nature of Satan that is passed down spiritually to all of Adam’s descendants UNLESS one accepts and believes in the Redemption and Resurrection of Jesus the Christ.

For me this explains the reason evil exists in the Presence of an absolute good God.

Could God have terminated the evil at its inception?

Absolutely! God is the Creator. God is the potter molding the clay who can sovereignly throw away corrupted clay and start anew. To toss the corrupted clay (i.e. humanity) it would be an admission of defeat to the adversary. God loses to no one.

In God’s love and miraculous power, He made a plan to fulfill His purpose for created humanity. That plan was to end the corruption then inherent in humanity with a plan for an uncorrupted human being to pay the price of Adam’s betrayal. Hence humanity has a path to overcome evil through Jesus Christ.

That plan was only partially realized at the Resurrection of Jesus the Christ the Son of God. Humanity’s inner spirit via faith has the choice to be a new creation in Christ re-imprinting the Image of God by untwisting the fallen nature with a new nature. Full Redemption is still in humanity’s future when the mind-soul and flesh are transformed totally into the glorious eternal being. This will include the Redemption of the earth. With the creation of a new earth and a new Heaven the goodness of God terminates the existence of evil in humanity’s environment.

Until that day evil will continue to worsen in the world. When the cup of evil is full, humanity’s complete Redemption will draw near and overtake our existence.

So now what am I trying to say?

I am saying in our individual sphere of influence the Character of Christ is sufficient to bring victory either in this life or the next life to come. Don’t be anxious rather trust in God even if this temporal life has the appearance of going down the tubes.

Where does faith come in?

I believe faith is a matter of stewardship. Everyone who believes in Christ is dealt a measure of faith. Disciplined stewardship of that faith enables one to do great acts for the Kingdom of God in this life. Modest or little stewardship will produce modest or little acts in the Kingdom of God.

Should a Christian feel condemned for the sense of one described as “O ye of little faith”? I say, “NO!”

If you are in Christ there is no condemnation. If you are in Christ yet determine to live a life in the flesh, you will have NO peace in this life. Also focusing on a flesh-life endangers your position of being in Christ. Yep, I am one of those who believe if your life mocks God, your Salvation is in danger of disappearing. I am also saying I am not that judge who decides that status. All will make that discovery at the Last Judgment.

Now let me be clear about my thoughts on the faith-life. I am a believer in the prosperity message; however I do not believe God will honor one’s faith to acquire possessions for the sake personal pleasure unless that pleasure is something that benefits the Kingdom of God. So I am big on God giving one a blessed life of comfort according to one’s stewardship, but I am not one that includes ostentatious living that provokes a feeling of “I’m better than the next guy”. That should sound similar to the Lucifer to Satan transformation.

The primary importance of faith is not the good carnal life, rather the primary importance of faith is to seek the Kingdom of God drawing closer and closer to God. The heart-peace of God is sufficient to overcome every ill or evil that makes an attempt to enter and/or corrupt your life.

Does the peace of God mean Christians should be doormats for criminals and evil doers?

I do not think so. Check out Romans 13: 1-7:

1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. 4 For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. 5 Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. 6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. 7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.

Police and military personnel exist to prevent evil. God ordains human authority to confront human evil.

Unfortunately in this age before the return of Christ, one nation’s good may be perceived as an evil by another nation. The reality of good and evil among human nations which incorporate a national and international rule of law can only be judged by God. After all God Almighty used a foreign heathen king to punish the disobedient lifestyle of the Chosen People. The Hebrew tribes lost their kingdom to foreign invaders and went into exile. This exile among the Judah exiles honed the spiritual life of Diaspora Jews. The Diaspora Jews (1st Babylon and 2nd Roman) solidified their faith to remain a cohesive group of people for thousands of years without their homeland.

Could moral depreciation cause the downfall of America that has until recently placed their foundation in Christianity? Or will prayer by the remnant bring on a Third Great Awakening as that which occurred before nationhood and in the early 19th century.

The CADC is calling for Christians to be active spiritually and politically in America to counter the Leftist social transformation in America. If I did misinterpret the CADC article, then I am calling for Christians to become active.

Why Does God Allow His Enemies to Succeed?

When you have been in spiritual warfare and the culture wars any length of time you will inevitably come to points in the battle when you ask, “what in the world is God doing?” We know that God is in control of His creation and has called us to pray and stand for him, yet some times we are tempted to think very hard thoughts against God or even want to give up.

If we affirm with the Bible that Jesus is Lord all, then why do we seem to be losing important moral battles? Hate crime laws are almost certain to be signed into law that will be used in an attempt to silence the church. Our Federal tax dollars are being spent on wicked overseas abortions and funding immoral “kill to heal” research on human embryos. Obama’s healthcare reform has a backdoor effort in it to give radical feminists and the abortion industry everything they want.

Our biblical principles are taking a beating in the culture right now. So the question remains. What is God up to? More importantly, what are we supposed to be doing as believers? Let’s look at the Bible for some help.

Pop Quiz
First of all, this struggle with God’s providence is not unique to us, even though it feels like it sometimes. The inspired prophet Jeremiah put it this way, “Righteous are You, O Lord, when I plead with You; Yet let me talk with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are those happy who deal so treacherously? You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; They grow, yes, they bear fruit. You are near in their mouth but far from their mind. (Jeremiah 12:1-2; NKJV)

Jeremiah was frustrated with the way God was working in Israel. Wicked people doing evil things seemed unstoppable. They even talked like they were true believers and as if they were intent on doing the Lord’s work even though they had no intention of submitting to God’s revealed will. Sound familiar?

But, Jeremiah knew that God was still at work even in the midst of setbacks. “But You, O Lord, know me; You have seen me, And You have tested my heart toward You.” (Jeremiah 12:3a; NKJV)

God works in mysterious ways as he administers his inscrutable providence. Jeremiah realized that even in the midst of setbacks God is at work among his people revealing their faith and character. Yes, this is a test. Will we remain steadfast, immovable and abound in the work of the Lord even when it is difficult?

The Art of War
God is always most concerned about his people and is constantly working all things together for their good and His own glory. When we read the scriptures we see some predictable historical patterns.

First, God graciously saves and delivers his people. Then there is a honeymoon filled with blessings. Then God’s people become complacent and backslide into various sins and idolatry. So God sends prophets to call his people back. The prophets are killed. So foreign enemies, drought and wicked kings etc. are sent to afflict his people. After suffering, sometimes for long periods, the people cry out to God for mercy and they repent. Then God sends a savior to rescue them. The people are blessed and the cycle starts over.

This tells us a lot about human nature and God’s providence. This pattern is most vividly on display in the book of Judges where we see a downward spiral of Israel after taking up residence in the Promised Land.

In the midst of the historical narrative recorded in Judges the Holy Spirit gives us some important insights into the reasons for this process. Why didn’t God make it easy for his people to follow him? Why didn’t He simply destroy all the surrounding pagan nations that would be a constant temptation and thorn in Israel’s side? Here’s why.

“Now these are the nations which the Lord left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars in Canaan (this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it), namely, five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to the entrance of Hamath. And they were left, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments of the Lord, which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses. Judges 3:1-5

God left enemies for his people to overcome and in the process Israel was being tested. Would they remain faithful and live a life pleasing to God or would they be tempted to intermarry and worship foreign gods? Would they stand up and fight and learn the art of war? God wanted Israel to be able to defend itself and the way he taught them was through the attacks of the enemy. You learn by doing. Ultimately, Israel failed the test and the kingdom of God was taken away from them (Mathew 21:43) and they were dispersed.

Pneumatic Warfare
Now God is training his church in the art of spiritual warfare. It is not a physical, carnal struggle or a battle of flesh and blood. Rather it is an unseen, spiritual, theological and moral struggle for the souls and minds of men and nations.

God could have destroyed all our enemies fully and finally at the cross. We know that death, Hell and Satan were all defeated in principle on the cross and by Christ’s resurrection . Christ’s full and final victory is absolutely secure, yet for God’s own purposes there is still a spiritual warfare to engage and holy history to be made.

We do not fight for victory but from Christ’s victory. In this we as believers have the highest possible honor. We are invited to co-labor with Christ as he subdues all of his enemies under his feet.

Can’t We Just Be Positive Christians?
But what if someone does not like all this talk about war and prefers only to discuss God in terms of his love and mercy? While this is understandable, it is not an accurate representation of who God really is.

Hear God’s Word. “The Lord is a Man of war, the Lord is his name.” (Exodus 15:3) “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.” (Psalm 24:8) “Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.” (Revelation 19:11) After use of familial terms, the second most common metaphor used in the New Testament for believers are military terms.

Mankind bears to some degree all of God’s image, even the glorious martial facets of his nature. Of course, sin has distorted God’s image and that is why we need God to renew his image in us through the gospel. But we are called to embrace and reflect the totality of God’s character. To deny one aspect of God’s nature is a denial of God’s unity and simplicity. It is heretical to deny any attribute of God or to juxtapose one against the other. God is not schizophrenic or inwardly conflicted, but always acts perfectly in accordance with all his entire nature. For example, God’s justice is a holy, loving, merciful expression of all his perfect being.

For our own good and His own glory God allows enemies to attack us and even apparently succeed for a season to test our faith and courage. Theoretically, we could all be glorified and enjoy the eternal joys of heaven the moment after we are saved by faith in Christ. But this life is a proving ground. Will we stand when it is hard or will we compromise and adopt the ways of the world? Will we lay up treasures in heaven or simply live for the pleasures of this world? Will we reflect God’s image as a spiritual soldier?

All of life is intended to drive us to Christ, even our greatest victories and our most crushing failures, so that in all things he has the preeminence. This world is not and never will be heaven, but it is the perfect place for God to prepare you for it. One of those necessary preparations is to develop courage and tenacity to stay in the fight and persevere to the end.

Cowards Go First
For years I have threatened to print up tee shirts that say, “Cowards go first.” Then under the words have a picture of Dante’s Inferno. Why?

It is axiomatic to “begin with the end in mind.” So what do we know about the ultimate end of this life? At the end of time when the final judgment is being meted out by our victorious King Jesus we read these words, “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8; NKJV)

I never cease to be surprised by this list. It is not one that I would have created and therefore reflects my defective perspective on what is important to God. The very first kind of person mentioned that deserves eternal wrath from God’s point of view is not the murderer, the sexual deviant or even the one who is involved with satanic witchcraft, rather it is the coward.

The Greek word for “coward” here infers being timid and fainthearted. Remember Revelation was written to the Churches in Asia Minor who were suffering terribly for their faith. So Christ graciously gives them the greatest incentive to remain faithful and not to give way under persecution and apostatize.

While we are nowhere near the kind of persecution that many others have experienced for Christ, we still need the same bold, spirit-filled life of a first century martyr. Jesus said the Holy Spirit would make us witnesses for him. The Greek root for being a witness is martureo. To be a Christian is to be a faithful witness to Christ unto death. No cowards allowed.

Only courageous Christians are admitted to heaven the true land of the free and home of the brave. Hell is the eternal abode of spiritual and moral cowards. We experience a foretaste of heaven when as Christians we courageously overcome the world the flesh and the Devil. We get a foretaste of Hell when we live fearful, cowardly lives.

By Grace through faith in Christ
Of course, who can say they have always been a fearless follower of Christ? We can only have true spiritual courage, verses false, fleshly bravado, by the grace of and the power of the Holy Spirit. We must repent of carnal thinking and worldly perceptions and ask God to open our eyes to the glory of His Son sitting at his right hand. By fixing our eyes on Jesus, not our enemies or circumstances, we will be enabled to run our race and fight the good fight of faith.

May God grant us the fullness of the Holy Spirit to boldly stand in our day. May he strengthen us to do his will as we faithfully make use of the means of grace in His Word and Spirit. By faith we declare with God’s help we will make no excuses and offer no apologies. We purpose to fight for Christ’s glory and kingdom, no matter what the enemies of Christ say or do. The battle belongs to the Lord, but faithfulness in the fight is our holy and blessed obligation.

Joe Kaufman Whoops Legal Jihad

Joe Kaufman runs the website Americans Against Hate (AAH). The very name is emblematic of anti-racism. The AAH has a special focus on a group of people who demonstrate a huge capacity to “hate” people who disagree with them. That group of People is the overt and covert supporters of radical Islam.

The AAH has a blog that picks on the American-Muslim group who often claims to represent the plight of Muslims in America – Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Thus the blog is called CAIR Watch.

Trust me though, CAIR is not the only American-Muslim group pretending to be moderate when in fact they either support radical Islam or actually receives funds from radical Islamic groups (Hamas comes to mind).

Joe Kaufman led a relatively small group of people to protest a meeting led by the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) in Dallas, Texas. Here was the result of that exercise of Free Speech:

… Joe Kaufman, an American activist and the chairman of Americans Against Hate, traveled to Texas to lead a peaceful ten-person protest against the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), an organization that has been tied to Pakistani radical Islamic groups. During Kaufman's peaceful protest he was served with a harsh temporary restraining order as well as a suit alleging defamation and harassment. What is particularly troubling about Kaufman's case, is that the suit was not filed against him by ICNA, but by seven Dallas area plaintiffs who had never previously been mentioned by Kaufman, nor had they present at Kaufman's protest. ... The legal intimidation Kaufman experienced has several names: lawfare, stealth Jihad, soft Jihad, legal Jihad and probably a few terms I have missed. Nonetheless, all the words refer Muslims or Muslim groups with money who intimidate anti-Islamists and anti-Jihadists into silence by burying them in legal molasses.

There have been some very successful cases of Muslims intimidating their critics internationally. This specifically has been successful in Europe because civil law places the burden of proof on the defendant rather than the accusing plaintiff.

America has been a bit more difficult for moneyed Muslims to intimidate for the law here is the plaintiff (i.e. the accuser) must prove the defendant libel. Also the defendant has the right to “discovery” in which the asking of all documents must be followed through for the defense to have an opportunity to build its case.

There have been cases though in which foreign governments (due to treaties or such legal manipulations) have asked American jurisdiction to enforce the decisions of foreign courts against American citizens. Many States have enacted anti-libel terrorism legislation (or the various names mentioned above) and the Federal government has worked on legislation as well. The aim for legislation against foreign law suits is to make sure American civil rights trumps any divergence of a foreign law in litigation.

Writers such as Joe Kaufman have been assailed by financially endowed American-Muslim or North American-Muslim groups as a form of legal intimidation. The intimidation is not necessarily with the goal of winning, rather the goal is to break the accused with legal fees that are unaffordable.

With the pro bono aid of the Thomas More Law Center, Kaufman has scored a victory for American Free Speech and placed another dent in Legal Jihad as a tool of persecution.

Interview with M.A. Khan

Here is an insightful interview conducted by Bill Warner of Political Islam with M.A. Khan of Islam Watch. As Bill Warner points out in his introduction, Khan is the author of an excellent book (which I have read) entitled, “Islamic Jihad: A Legacy of Forced Conversion, Imperialism, and Slavery”.

The theme M.A. Khan presents in the interview is to provide Mohammedans with the truth of Islam’s (Mohamedanism’s) history and legacy to shame Mohammedans out of Islam.

Brought up in the conversation is the difficulty of reaching this goal because of the extreme indoctrination Mohammedans receive in their environment coupled with the sad fact that the Hanafi-Salafist-Wahhabi-Ikhwan form of Mohammedanism is well financed. That financing includes offsetting truth with propaganda lies that truth tellers are Islamophobic haters.

The hater theme in the predominantly Mohammedan Middle East has resulted in the banning of such website as Jihad Watch, Islam Watch, Political Islam, Faith Freedom International, and The Religion of Peace and so on. Even some Western nations have blocked these websites because the big money involved in radical Islam has convinced Western governments to ban such truth telling websites.

M.A. Khan believes only a drastic change from somewhere will enable the truth to overcome the well financed lies perpetrated as truth.

Marginalizing Sarah Palin

Say the name ‘Sarah Palin.’ The very name evokes images that are wildly supportive to extreme castigation.

Those that are supportive are admirers of her charisma and stand for moral values.

Those that castigate Palin either propagate the lie that Palin is an unintelligent moron or are listeners to that lie. The primary sources of that lie politically are Leftists and the Mainstream Media (MSM) who undoubtedly fears Palin will have an influence in Conservative politics. The Leftist fear - if unwittingly prophetic - is probably based on an individual that can capture the minds and hearts of voters which President Reagan did in the ‘80’s. Thus the fear is another Conservative revolution that would reverse the socio-economic horrid transformation that President Barack Hussein Obama has began to implement.

So I love finding a credible writer that points out these deficient lies are indeed fabrications to propagandize mainstream America. That person I found is Bill O’Reilly.

Obama Appears Ready to Jettison Israel

It is becoming very evident that President Hussein Obama’s “real agenda” toward Israel is to force the Jewish Israeli government to give up land that is sacred and acquired by the sweat and blood of its citizens in repulsing invading Arab armies.

BHO is attempting to force Israel to acquiesce to an existential threat in the creation of an Arab State to be known as Palestine.

In BHO’s effort to accomplish his designs he is using the oratorical skills of lying rhetoric to entice Americans as a whole and American Jews in particular to buy into the absurd Two-State Solution for sovereign Israel and a group of Arab created refugees who have NO historical heritage to the land they wish to make a nation.

So far Prime Minister Netanyahu’s government has repulsed the BHO demands concerning Israel; however I am unsure if a little slice of democracy in the Middle East will be able to resist Obama if he begins to squeeze Israel’s economy and Israel’s defense that are backed up by America. (Note backed up but not dependent as a lot of despotic or fragile governments might be.)

Anne Bayefsky writes that Jewish Israeli citizens are coalescing into a majority support for Netanyahu’s resistance to the Obama Agenda.

The irony is that American Jews seem to have a majority favoring the creation of a sovereign Palestine. BHO is attempting to manipulate public support by giving the impression that American Jews are 100% behind the Obama Agenda for Israel. The reality is BHO is asking only American Jews that are extremely favorable to the Obama Agenda and excluding American Jews from voicing concerns about Obama’s agenda being an existential threat to Israel.

'Jerusalem Is Not Negotiable'

Apparently President Barack Hussein Obama issued orders to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu via America’s Ambassador to Israel demanding the Israeli government cease (like NOW) from any construction in what used to East Jerusalem.

That is to say Jews are not allowed to own or build land in the City of David because before 1967 Jordan had sovereignty over East Jerusalem.

As a blog I just read will note: Obama’s demand was moronically put forth even though Arabs are allowed to buy and live in land in what used to be West Jerusalem. Also the Arabs that call themselves Palestinians are building illegally in Samaria and Judea (West Bank) in order to force out Jewish residents under the expectation the West (America in particular) will force the creation of a sovereign State to be known as Palestine.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman gave the appropriate response to the Obamessiah bully. In short summary, the word could be “TOUGH!”

Nazism, Eugenics and Abortion

When anyone writes about Adolf Hitler the reader (who is normal) thinks of unspeakable evil. It has been many years since Hitler’s Third Reich lost WWII. Due to that longevity those who have even a piecemeal knowledge of history usually connect Hitler to the Holocaust of nearly six million Jews.

The thing that people forget is that Hitler also is responsible for roughly another six million genocidal deaths as well. Who was the other half of Hitler’s evil insidious murders?

The answer is a long list. That list was based was based on racial purity versus those considered unworthy of life (Lebensunwertes Leben): races Hitler considered inferior to a master race, criminal, degenerate, dissident, feeble-minded, homosexual, idle, insane, religious, and weak (hardly an inclusive list).

So Hitler’s Holocaust meant the death of around twelve million human beings (give or take depending on who you read).

What was the inspiration for such a degenerate evil plan?

Most people leap to the Hitler/Nazi concept of the Master Race (aka Aryan Race).

How did Hitler develop the concept of a Master Race of pure Germans meant to rule the world?

The obvious answer is wicked prejudice; however prejudice was only an instigating thought that needed a plausible reason to delude people into believing in a Master Race.

How did Hitler find a plausible reason to match his deadly prejudice?

The reason was the warped science derived from Social Darwinism. Simply put, Social Darwinism is the utilizing Darwin’s Theory of Evolution in a socio-economic venue. Thus the “survival of the fittest” concept of the stronger biological beings transforming into a better being as environment eliminates the weaker beings is applied to human races.

Surely you can see where this is leading – right? Certainly the Master Race comes to mind.

Now how did Social Darwinism find its way into Hitler’s Master Race concept?

The science of the day Hitler discovered was the study of eugenics. The idea behind eugenics was to breed intelligence and prowess into humanity and breeding stupidity and weakness out of humanity.

Eugenics sounds like a lofty altruistic study; however the study of eugenics’ beginnings was not sweetness and light for humanity. A British person may have coined the phrase “eugenics” but it was American scientific embacement by which theories, studies and experimental implementation took place.

In America the State of California became the epicenter of American eugenics studies. These studies led to these kinds of concepts:

Eugenics was the racist pseudoscience determined to wipe away all human beings deemed "unfit," preserving only those who conformed to a Nordic stereotype. Elements of the philosophy were enshrined as national policy by forced sterilization and segregation laws, as well as marriage restrictions, enacted in twenty-seven states. In 1909, California became the third state to adopt such laws. Ultimately, eugenics practitioners coercively sterilized some 60,000 Americans, barred the marriage of thousands, forcibly segregated thousands in "colonies," and persecuted untold numbers in ways we are just learning. Before World War II, nearly half of coercive sterilizations were done in California, and even after the war, the state accounted for a third of all such surgeries.

California was considered an epicenter of the American eugenics movement. During the Twentieth Century's first decades, California's eugenicists included potent but little known race scientists, such as Army venereal disease specialist Dr. Paul Popenoe, citrus magnate and Polytechnic benefactor Paul Gosney, Sacramento banker Charles M. Goethe, as well as members of the California State Board of Charities and Corrections and the University of California Board of Regents.

Stanford president David Starr Jordan originated the notion of "race and blood" in his 1902 racial epistle "Blood of a Nation," in which the university scholar declared that human qualities and conditions such as talent and poverty were passed through the blood.

In 1904, the Carnegie Institution established a laboratory complex at Cold Spring Harbor on Long Island that stockpiled millions of index cards on ordinary Americans, as researchers carefully plotted the removal of families, bloodlines and whole peoples. From Cold Spring Harbor, eugenics advocates agitated in the legislatures of America, as well as the nation's social service agencies and associations.

The Harriman railroad fortune paid local charities, such as the New York Bureau of Industries and Immigration, to seek out Jewish, Italian and other immigrants in New York and other crowded cities and subject them to deportation, trumped up confinement or forced sterilization.

The Rockefeller Foundation helped found the German eugenics program and even funded the program that Josef Mengele worked in before he went to Auschwitz.

Much of the spiritual guidance and political agitation for the American eugenics movement came from California's quasi-autonomous eugenic societies, such as the Pasadena-based Human Betterment Foundation and the California branch of the American Eugenics Society, which coordinated much of their activity with the Eugenics Research Society in Long Island. These organizations--which functioned as part of a closely-knit network--published racist eugenic newsletters and pseudoscientific journals, such as Eugenical News and Eugenics, and propagandized for the Nazis. American eugenics practices became the model by which Adolf Hitler fueled his prejudice and find a then widely accepted scientific principle to apply to Germany to develop a genetically pure Master Race.

In my opinion this establishes the practice of eugenics as evil for its implementation was NOT voluntary. Eugenic apologists today tout their science as something that is voluntary. As far as I am concerned this is propaganda to reach funding to build on the harsh practices of early American 20th century to eliminate one human’s definition of inferior which led to the dastardly genocide of the Nazi implemented Holocaust.

You would think I am finished with this essay with getting to the point of the wickedness of early eugenics in America that inspired Adolf Hitler. I am not.

This sounds good and altruistic especially for women and teenage girls. It is interesting that the “more than 90 percent is preventive” also matches the percentage of women who get an abortion as a convenience. Many of these poor gals are led to believe by organizations such as Planned Parenthood that an abortion is a mere biological surgery removing a fetus like one removes an appendix. I am a proponent of Biblical Morality hence I view abortions of convenience as the murder of innocent children who have the right to live way above any individual’s right to kill for convenience.

Do you know who Margaret Sanger (1883 – 1966) was? Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood.

Let’s read some of Sanger’s beliefs from her own words:

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:

On the right of married couples to bear children:
Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child, she wrote in her "Plan for Peace." Birth Control Review, April 1932

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:

Planned Parenthood's Goal:
Dr. Lena Levine in 1953, concerning Planned Parenthood's purpose and planned course of action: "... to be ready as educators and parents to help young people obtain sex satisfaction before marriage. By sanctioning sex before marriage we will prevent fear and guilt. We must also relieve those who have these ... feelings, and we must be ready to provide young boys and girls with the best contraceptive measures available so they will have the necessary means to achieve sexual satisfaction without having to risk possible pregnancy." Sanger’s Planned Parenthood was implemented to practice her concepts of eugenics to build a better race in America and preventing the breeding of those she felt were in inferior. It is no wonder pro-choice gals are brainwashed to dispose the Biblical concept of life from conception.

I will allow others to debate about the morality of the death of children in the other 10% of abortions. I sense that many pro-life supporters would take offense of my thoughts about issues I have not completely solidified in my own thinking. Nonetheless, Sanger’s birth control ideology is centered on eugenics to eliminate the unworthy and 90% of abortions are performed as simple birth control when in reality it is murder.

If you doubt Sanger bought into the eugenics theories of creating a superior race and eliminating inferior races you should spend some time researching one Sanger’s pet projects: The Negro Project.

The aim of the program was to restrict—many believe exterminate—the black population. Under the pretense of “better health” and “family planning,” Sanger cleverly implemented her plan. What's more shocking is Sanger's beguilement of black America's crème de la crème—those prominent, well educated and well-to-do—into executing her scheme. Some within the black elite saw birth control as a means to attain economic empowerment, elevate the race and garner the respect of whites.

In 1929, 10 years before Sanger created the Negro Project, the ABCL (this later became Planned Parenthood) laid the groundwork for a clinic in Harlem, a largely black section of New York City. It was the dawn of the Great Depression, and for blacks that meant double the misery. Blacks faced harsher conditions of desperation and privation because of widespread racial prejudice and discrimination. From the ABCL's perspective, Harlem was the ideal place for this “experimental clinic,” which officially opened on November 21, 1930. … She convinced black civic groups in Harlem of the “benefits” of birth control, under the cloak of “better health” (i.e., reduction of maternal and infant death; child spacing) and “family planning.” So with their cooperation, and the endorsement of The Amsterdam News (a prominent black newspaper), Sanger established the Harlem branch of the Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau.21 The ABCL told the community birth control was the answer to their predicament.

Sanger shrewdly used the influence of prominent blacks to reach the masses with this message. She invited DuBois and a host of Harlem's leading blacks, including physicians, social workers, ministers and journalists, to form an advisory council to help direct the clinic “so that our work in birth control will be a constructive force in the community.”22 She knew the importance of having black professionals on the advisory board and in the clinic; she knew blacks would instinctively suspect whites of wanting to decrease their numbers. The popularity of abortion as a woman’s right of choice has its foundation in Margaret Sanger’s concept of elimination inferior races, people who seem to have heredity of poverty, those physical and mental defects.

Abortion is not only murder, it was initiated as a Leftist (yes Nazis are Leftists) scheme to eugenically improve the human race on the terms of race superiority.

The article that motivated me to find the disturbing news of the origins of Planned Parent was a critical essay by Mark Alexander entitled, “ObamaCare and the Culture of Death.” Alexander gets to the heart of the matter of Sanger’s motives and ties it in to the potential result of President Barack Hussein Obama’s Slanted Left concept of Universal Health Care.

Secret Support Gaining for Israel Attack Against Iran

I suspect Iran’s recent voting crisis coupled with a government crackdown on protesters reminiscent of former Shah Reza Pahlavi’s brutal repression has given Western nations and Arab nations another perspective on confronting Iran’s nuclear program. Even amidst Iranian government denials, it is obvious the Iranian nuclear program is functioning way beyond peaceful energy. The nuke program is in reality an armed nuclear proliferation program.

One indication of this new global perspective is the recent movement of Israeli naval vessels through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea. Yes the very Suez Canal managed by Arab-Islamic Egypt.

There is talk that Arab nations are willing to look the other way if Israel attacks Iran’s nuclear capabilities with a deal in mind. Apparently that deal is Israel becoming more amenable to the creation of a Palestinian State even in the face of Islamic terrorism which includes the belief that Israel should be destroyed.

If you have read any of my writing on the so-called Two-State Solution, you are aware my stand is radical to the politically correct industry. There is no historical basis for the creation of a Palestinian State for that provision in 1947 was to be invested in Transjordan which is today’s Jordan. If any expansion occurred by the Jewish State past the formation of its modern incarnation, that expansion was the result of winning wars of self-defense in the face of overwhelming odds. As far as I am concerned this does not mean an occupation, it means land as payment for the war debt of invading Arab armies.

But I passionately digress.

If this behind the geopolitical door deal ever goes beyond rumor, I think Israel should flow with it. Here is why: If Israel has Arab support for a controversial attack that has the potential of starting a Middle Eastern war that even may conflate to a global war, then the usual European Leftist animosity toward Israel will have to be reassessed.

Iran international black mail will have less affect limiting the Mullah-State to gamble that Russia and China will support Iranian military reprisals. The threat of American retribution via forces in Iraq and Afghanistan would not need an invasion force. Massive air and missile strikes to respond to an Iranian counter-attack could ruin the economy of an isolated Iran (U.N. valueless sanctions may gain some actual value).

Then there is the deal: Israel actively working to establish a sovereign Palestinian State. The reason I don’t have a problem with such a deal is my belief that the ruling elite of the Arabs calling themselves Palestinians are geopolitical morons in managing an actual sovereign nation. The Arab terrorists managing Hamastan (Gaza strip) and the West Bank have displayed an inability to manage the existing infrastructure without graft, murder and engaging Israel as a national State.

A sovereign Palestine would be responsible for its actions. Shooting missiles into Israel would be an act of war from one sovereign State to another. A sovereign Palestinian State could not hide behind Islamic terrorists fighting to end occupation. Regardless of the multiple Palestinian charters that imply a Palestine map encompassing land that nullifies the existence of Israel, the nation of Israel is a recognized State and a member of the United Nations.

Israel would be forced by an act of war to protect itself. The resolution would be to attack Palestine. I would hope that would mean the end of a Palestinian State. The reality is that the first act of defense would probably be a harsh message to the corrupt government of Palestine. That would be something like messing up a viable military infrastructure and/or totally cutting off economic support the world will expect Israel to donate as its part to create a Palestinian State.

The sovereign Palestinian State would face the choice of becoming the typical repressive Muslim regime dealing politically with Israel or continue to stick by their terrorist charters to challenge Israel. History shows that continued attacks could lead to the possession of more land that legitimately belongs to Israel anyway.

With these thoughts in mind I believe there is no better than the present to do the Arab Middle East and the West a huge favor; i.e. do as much damage to the Iranian nuclear program as possible.

My Criticism of Islam (Mohammedanism)

I have been very critical of Mohammedan claim that Islam (Mohammedanism) is a religion of peace. One of the biggest examples is from the Mohammedan writings considered holy and Mohammedan history. I have come to realize that there is an element of peace inherent in Mohammedanism related to the hisba; however that inherent peace is ONLY toward believing Mohammedans. Mohammedanism is intolerant of any creed or religion that runs counter to its holy writings and of Mohammedans that deviate from Mohammedanism. This intolerance can aptly be called Islamic Supremacism.

In Mohammedan dominated lands (and increasingly where Mohammedans are a large minority in the West) Mohammedanism is cruel and brutal. Christians, Jews and (those considered) pagans are the victims of this cruelty.

That said it should be noted that Mohammedan intellectuals and apologists (which ironically includes non-Mohammedans usually of the Leftist persuasion) often attack Christianity in retaliation to the “Islam is violent” mantra that I stand by. The Christian attack is usually first displayed by bringing up Christian history.

Those who have called themselves followers of Christ have too often committed atrocities of cruel violence and genocide in the Name of Christ. I have to admit the history does not lie; human beings calling on Christ have warred between themselves, persecuted and killed Jews and unleashed vengeful and unrelenting violence and death upon Mohammedans during the Crusades.

The Revelation of John is loaded with violent images; however those images are the result of evil rather than the continuation of God invoked violence.

I have to point out that Christianity’s Holy Scriptures expressly tell a Christian not to be violent among themselves or to any human being. The only exception to this is the fine line in which Scripture provides for those in authority (e.g. military, police, government and so on). Mohammedan apologists should cease their hypocrisy and own up to the perpetual violence commanded in their holy writings.

Then Mohammedan apologists usually counter with an “aha!” The Christian Old Testament which is the Jewish Tanakh is full of genocidal violence. The classic example is Moses and Joshua leading the Twelve Tribes of Israel into the Land of Promise. As the Hebrew/Israelite Tribes possessed their Promised Land the Scriptures tell the Jews to exterminate those being dispossessed. The extermination indeed proceeds. God told the Jews to completely possess the Land and completely destroy the inhabitants. The Mohammedan apologist says, “See!” How is the genocidal dispossession of the Promised Land’s original inhabitants any different than Mohammed and his descending followers from rapaciously conquering non-Mohammedan land to fulfill the will of Allah to convert the world to Islam (Mohammedanism)?

Here is a difference!

The Land given to the Tribes of Israel was populated by idolatrous religions that taught such things as sacrificing humans (usually babies) and the practice of temple prostitutes. The land was populated with evil hateful people. Once the Land was possessed the Jews were not to continue exterminating other people even though they also may have been morally deviant as well. In fact the Jews were told not to mix whatsoever with non-Jews as a practice.

On the other hand Mohammed and Mohammedan conquerors through out the ages have used their prophet’s example and their holy writings to conquer, convert or kill all humanity that lost their nation to victorious Mohammedans. This often resulted in cruel slavery and sex-slavery (for the beautiful women). If the conquered were lucky for being the people of the book (i.e. Jews and Christians), those people had a choice of converting or living a sub-human life as an oppressed dhimmi.

Even to this day Jews do not seek out converts although converts to Judaism do occur on a willing basis. Christianity Scriptures tell Christians to share the Gospel (Good News) Truth to all humanity. If the Gospel is rejected the problem is between God and the individual in the Last Judgment.

Now in practice as Christianity was embraced by militarily powers in the West, the faith of the military became the faith of the indigenous people. In the case of the West colonizing the New World and parts of Africa, the Christian faith was forced upon the indigenous people. Again this is not part of the Gospel plan; however Christian nations saw a political advantage to govern easier if everyone prayed to the same God. The very Christian faith which was misused politically in time brought tolerance of the multiplicity of Christian tenets and eventually tolerance the practice or non-practice of a religion.

In contrast Mohammedan holy writings are an example that Mohammedans have used to brutalize the globe in the name of Allah for centuries; indeed the Islamic terrorists of the 20th and 21st century believe they are merely reforming Islam to the purest form as delivered the their prophet Mohammed. There has been little to zero advancement in the Liberty and Rights of humanity as a result of Islamic Supremacist intolerance.

Before I move on I have to discuss one pet peeve of mine pertaining to the Christian Crusaders. The Crusaders are accused of brutal intolerance toward Mohammedans as they brought the Christian faith back to the Holy Land by military force.

The Mohammedan protesteth to much me thinks.

The Crusades were not about one day a group of medieval knights got together and said, “Hey, we’re kind of bored. Let’s go the Middle East and slaughter some Saracens.” In fact the Crusades were a result of Mohammedan incursion on Christian lands stretching from present day Turkey through to present day Spain. Part of those conquests was continuous raiding parties along Mediterranean Europe which resulted in the bloodthirsty acquisition of booty and slaves. One day a combination of an appeal from the Byzantine Emperor and the report that Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land were being enslaved or murdered inspired a call for military action.

After 500 years of Saracen/Muslim brutality against the West, it is hardly surprising that the warrior caste of medieval Europe embarked on military incursions against Mohammedan lands which when victorious slaughtered everyone in sight.

My point is this: the Crusades were more like a football metaphor; viz. the best defense is a good offense. The Crusaders end came when European rulers lost in interest in any benefit the political control had for their kingdoms. The result was the slow evisceration of the Crusader kingdoms ending in the Holy Land in 1291 with the fall of Acre. There were more Crusades however the period of political control was only a 192 years. Compare that 192 years to over a thousand years of brutality that kept coming from Mohammedans. In Europe the Mohammedan military prowess lead to a slow retreat after John III Sobieski smashed Mohammedan Turks at the Battle of Vienna in 1683. The Hindu Genocide continued in ebbs and flows on the Indian Sub-continent really until the British usurped total control in 1857.

Beginning with Mohammed’s brutality in the early 600’s to the end of the last vestige of a Mohammedan empire (Ottoman Turkey) in 1918 we are talking about nearly 1300 years of historical murder and mayhem at the hands of Mohammedans. There are no Mohammedan military super powers today; however where Mohammedanism reigns intolerant totalitarianism is more the rule than the exception.

Ironically the most democratic of Mohammedan nations (which are self-reliant) is Turkey. The nation representative of total intolerance is the Saudi Arabian kingdom in which public beheadings and whippings are still practiced. It is a place where women cannot have a driver’s license. It is a place in which a rape victim is punished for breaking the law. It is a place where thieves may loose an appendage.

Bill Adams writing for the American Thinker gives us an Alaskan view of Sarah Palin departing as Governor of Alaska. Adams touches on the Left Wing MSM’s horrendous mercilessly attacking Palin and family not on ideas but rather on her belief system. There actually are not that many ideas to attack for Palin was a success as administrator of the State of Alaska.

Then Adams touches on how Democrats in Alaska filed ludicrous after ludicrous ethics violations within the State Congress. Nearly of have ethics violations have been dismissed that have made it to an examination. The outcome of the Leftist strategy was to bury Sarah Palin in legal bills that became a distraction as the executive administrator of Alaska.

Adams moves on to touch on possible personal options for Palin. There is also a discussion of an actual impact Palin can have on the Conservative movement in America especially in light of the Obamasiah.

Montazeri Fatwa Against Khamenei Regime

Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri of Iran issued a fatwa aimed at Supreme Ruler Ayatollah Khamenei and President Ahmadinejad.

I find the fatwa interesting for it demonstrates both the evil of Islamic Supremacism and the golden rule of Islam as related to the hisba.

Montazeri was one of the top dogs along with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in the Iranian Revolution of 1979 that expelled the Shah and was guilty of holding American hostages that had diplomatic immunity as employees of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.

Montazeri focuses on the Mohammedan hypocrisy of good over evil being violated by Iranian government repression on Iranian citizens protesting the election results which publically broadcast an Ahmadinejad victory by a landslide.

Nevertheless, Montazeri’s fatwa is a rebuke of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and the Iranian government is a bold move that may result in an assassination of the octogenarian Grand Ayatollah Montazeri.

Wilders’ Popularity Worrying Dutch Leftists

In you have forgotten or haven’t heard; Geert Wilders was order to be prosecuted by the Netherlands judiciary for hate crimes. What is Wilders crime that is driving Muslims and Leftists crazy like a hornets nest? Wilders has taken a politically incorrect stand of pronouncing Mohammedanism (i.e. Islam) as one of the modern wicked ideologies to threaten the existence of the West’s centuries of development of democratic-republic institutions, Freedom and Liberty.

Of course in the West the various sides of the political poles view the interpretation of Freedom and Liberty differently; nonetheless they do stand by them.

Now here is the interesting thing that has developed since the late January 2009 order to prosecute Wilders. Wilders’ Freedom Party (or Party for Freedom-Dutch acronym: PVV) nearly became the largest political party in the Netherlands on June 5, 2009. That Dutch election was to distribute parliamentarians to the EU. The PVV came in second to the current Dutch Prime Minister’s Christian-Democrats (CDA) Party.

This was an extremely good showing for the PVV. So good in fact that Wilders has called for early national elections for the Netherlands. Dutch political polls show that Wilders is neck and neck with Prime Minister Jan-Peter Balkenende.

Thomas Lifson writing for the American Thinker believes that if Dutch elections were held sooner rather than later that Wilders’ PVV would be the majority Party; hence Wilders would be asked to form a coalition government meaning he would be Prime Minister.

Think of that! The man deemed by European Leftists and hostile Mohammedans as a racist has rocked to such popularity, he may actually become the Netherlands’ next Prime Minister.

Since the Dutch judiciary has joined the Leftists in trying to diminish Wilders’ character, he has become one of the most popular politicians in the Netherlands. I am personally unaware of the Dutch status to prosecute Wilders stands at the moment; however I have found American Conservative and anti-Islamist websites have initiated a boycott Netherlands campaign. If you believe there is a potential for Islam to transform American and European political institutions to intolerance while also limiting Freedom and Liberty you should get behind Geert Wilders.

Here is an excerpt from a CBN report published March 4, 2009:

But during Wilders' stay in America this week, which included a meeting with lawmakers at the U.S. Capitol, his screenings of Fitna have provoked only two things: discussion and debate.

"Will we leave our children, will we leave Europe's children, the values of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem?" Wilders asked an overflow crowd at the National Press Club in Washington Friday. "Or the values of Mecca, Gaza and Tehran?"

CBN News sat down with the Dutch parliamentarian before his appearance at the Press Club--where he called for an international First Amendment that would repeal all hate speech laws. Wilders says such laws stifle criticism of Islam.

"If you are an Imam or a radical Muslim you can say 'kill the Jews,' or 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth,'" Wilders said. "You can say the most terrible things, and if you say it, you will be protected by law. But if somebody stands up and says 'hey, that is wrong, we have to fight all the crazy remarks of these Islamists,' you will be brought to court."

Wilders says that's exactly what happened in his native Netherlands, where a Dutch court recently charged him with hate speech against Islam.

"I'm a fighter and I don't believe I'll end up behind bars. But it's not about me," he told CBN News. "The question is: will free speech be put behind bars?"

Political Islam and Muslim Ethos

Gary H. Johnson, Jr. critiques Bill Warner’s article, “Official Islam.” You can read the SlantRight.com post of Bill Warner’s article HERE.

Gary’s critique is entitled, “Islam’s Golden Rule.”

You should read the Warner piece before you read Gary’s piece.

I have a few words about Warner and Johnson. Both individuals obviously are obviously well versed in the ways of Islam. I find most of Warner’s articles at his website Political Islam. Johnson’s articles and informative essays are at his website United Against Islamic Supremacism.

To be honest Warner’s website is very good because the information he provides is some what written on a level that the grazing Internet surfer can grasp. Johnson’s website is extremely informative however Johnson writes on a level best suited for Internet seekers searching for the details of Islam from a Western perception yet with the Islamic perception in mind. Therein might lie a difficulty for the curious web surfer looking for understandable information for the reasons that Islam seems to so volatile toward Westerners, Jews and non-Muslims in general. Johnson often uses a Muslim conceptual word that nails the essence of his essays yet you might need to Google what that nail (word) means in understandable English.

My simplistic understanding of Johnson’s “Islam’s Golden Rule” is that he believes that Warner utilizes statistical information about the negative acts executed in the name of Islam. Johnson believes Warner’s emphasis political Islamic ideology is deficient in the larger picture of the “Muslim Ethos.”

When you tackle Johnson’s essay (and you really should!) it seems to me there are two words you should become familiar with: 1. Hisba 2. Jahaliya. I think more the former than the latter.

1. Hisba:

a. (simple): hisba. Office of accounting or public inspection. See muhtasib.

Muhtasib: The officer in charge of the hisba, whose duty, among other things, is to ensure the proper conduct of people in their public activities.

b. (summation of the book “Public Duties in Islam: The Institution of the Hisba” by Ibn Taymiyah): An exposition of the theory of Hisba in the wider context of a just society and an efficient market economy. Al-Haisba is a moral as well as a socio-economic institution in Islam through which public life is regulated in such a way that a high degree of public morality is attained and the society is protected from bad workmanship , fraud , extortion and exploitation.

In Part II - Toward a Just Society, Ibn Taymiya spells out the different stipulations of the Quranic command of amr bi’lma’Rif wa-n-nahi 'anil-munkar.

c. (Hisba Institution): The Hisbah is a religious institution under the authority of the state that appoints people to carry out the responsibility of enjoining what is right, whenever people start to neglect it, and forbidding what is wrong, whenever people start to engage in it. The purpose of this is to safeguard society from deviance, protect the faith, and ensure the welfare of the people in both religious and worldly manners according to the Law of Allah. 2. Jahaliya (or Jahiliyya or various spelling):

a. Jahaliya or ignorance, is how Muslims term the customs and culture in Arabia before the advent of Islam. (Yahiya Emerick; The complete idiot's guide to understanding Islam. p 193. Google Books)

b. Sayyid Qutb on Jahiliyya: Qutb argued that the entire world, including the Muslim, was in a state of jahiliyah, or ignorance where man’s way had replaced God’s way.

According to Qutb, since jahiliyah and Islam cannot co-exist, offensive jihad was necessary to destroy jahiliyah society and bring the entire world to Islam. Until jahiliyah is defeated, all true Muslims have a personal obligation to wage offensive jihad. When Qutb added offensive jihad to the widely accepted concept of defensive jihad, Qutb broke with mainstream Islam and ridiculed Muslim scholars:

Those who say that Islamic Jihad was merely for the defense of the home land of Islam diminish the greatness of the Islamic way of life and consider it less important [than] their homeland. . . . However, [Islamic community] defense is not the ultimate objective of the Islamic movement of jihad but it is a mean of establishing the Divine authority within it so that it becomes the headquarters for the movement of Islam, which is then to be carried throughout the earth to the whole of mankind . . . c. RELIGIOSCOPE - Another key concept in Qutb’s work is the concept of jahiliyya. Could you please explain its traditional meaning and the meaning Qutb gives to it?

IA-R - Jahiliyya is a term used by the Quran for describing the pre-Islamic conditions in Arabia. Roughly, it means ignorance or the phase of ignorance. Islam was supposed to supplant all the different traditions, practices, and ideas of jahiliyya with a new Islamic system that is far different from jahiliyya. Qutb, especially when he was in prison, used the term jahiliyya to refer to the Muslim world in the 20th century, that refused to implement the sharia or establish an Islamic state. That was full of jahiliyya according to him. But it seems to me that he did that under extreme circumstances, and this is the part the Jihad people in prison picked that up in the 1960s and the 1970s, and that became a dominant part of the Islamist discourse especially, in Egypt in the 1970s, 1980s. Many of these people who had that kind of discourse went to Afghanistan to fight against the Soviets, and now they are a part of the Qaeda. Somebody like Qutb must have had a major impact on somebody like Bin Laden, for example, or Ayman al-Zawahri, or others. (Interview with Professor Ibrahim Abu-Rabi)

Now if my selections to give the reader an idea of “Hisba” and “Jahaliya” don’t match Johnson’s view, I am certain he will let me know.

America is Only Partially the Blame

Below is a response to a Facebook buddy Scott Isaacs which I will also post below.

Scott I got to hand it to you. This article is indeed a great piece of writing. The information is extremely accurate.

However, I observe that your conclusions are slanted Left for placing the total blame on America for the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan. I do like the Nazi/Taliban metaphor though.

I have some thoughts as to a possible reason America did not step up to be a rebuilder of Afghanistan after the Soviet Communist departure.

Going back to the Nazi-Germany/Imperial-Japan scenario: Note that after those two lost WWII that the Soviet Union was officially one of the allies. The rebuilding of Germany really was only applicable to the Western portion occupied by the American and British forces. The "East Germany" occupied by the Soviet army did not receive comparable reconstruction. Also not at the end of WWII the Americans and Brits basically gave Eastern Europe over to Soviet hegemony as the spoil of war. Eastern Europe did not receive the same reconstruction as Western Europe.

The Soviet Union never declared war on Japan until defeat was imminent.
America looked the other way as the Soviets took control of Sakhalin Island; otherwise the Soviets showed little interest in a defeated Japan. America was free to reconstruct Japan into a democratic society.

I don’t believe there is an exact comparison of the reconstruction of the fallen axis powers to that of Soviet devastated Afghanistan.

Here is another thought.

America’s involvement in aiding Afghani tribal leaders eject the Soviets from Afghanistan probably gave a pretty good idea of the combination of greed from the petty (basically feudal) tribes and the Hanafi influenced Islam in the area. America had relatively left the Vietnam debacle that was the result of supporting a corrupt South Vietnamese government that alienated it citizens rather than inspire them to fight Communism. I would a good analysis of Afghanistan would be a risky political enterprise investing democratic principles in an area committed to either tribal/familial authority or Islam or both.

I agree that one huge failure was not protecting an asset like Massoud. Allowing his assassination was a grave mistake; however there was also no guarantee that Massoud would have developed into an Afghanistan unifier either. The best that could be hoped from Massoud would have been was a tool to keep the Taliban/Al Qaeda at bay. Investing in a full military-political support of Massoud could just as easily have been like supporting the corrupt South Vietnamese government.

My belief is that America made the correct decision in not getting directly involved in a post-Soviet reconstruction of Afghanistan and made a fatal error in not throwing covert military support to Massoud. If Massoud proved himself to be an able leader to offset the popularity that Taliban justice was perceived to be accomplishing.

One other thought about your reference about the Taliban not being corruptible to drug money from opium interests: If that is true it is more so because of the Taliban’s own opium production and less so because of the justice demanded by Hanafi Islamic teachings.

Muslim-Americans who are NOT Moderate

In the USA there are Muslim organizations which if you believe their own hype are of the so-called moderate Islamic bent; however these Muslim-American organizations nearly all have a connection overtly or covertly to an Islamic terrorist organization. In most cases the Muslim terrorists represent the various Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. Also there is a connection to Ikhwan better known as the Muslim Brotherhood in the English speaking world.

Let’s see if I can think of some these Muslim-American organizations that claim to represent mainstream (moderate) Islam in America.

The top dog (or so self-proclaimed) of these organization is the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR has been directly tied to the evil Arab-Palestinian organization known as Hamas. Hamas is on the State Department Terror Watch List. CAIR was implicated with an association with Hamas as an unindicted co-conspirator in successful prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation (HLF).

The Muslim American Society (MAS [Large PDF file]) is vitally connected to the international Salafist organization known as the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). The MB has a Wahhabi outlook about Islam which is strongly advocated by Terrorist organizations like Al-Qaeda and Hamas.

The Muslim Student Association (MSA) is also part of the MB agenda to Islamize the globe by infiltration or by jihad. The MSA is the largest student Muslim organization in the North American continent.

The Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) initially was founded as an organization to be a bridge between Christians and Jews in America attempting to emphasize that Islam’s core values are compatible with American values. Once Israel became embroiled with Arab-Palestinian terrorism of the Second Intifada MPAC became very recalcitrant toward Jews and Israel in particular. MPAC’s position is that Israel is a terrorist State and terrorist groups such as Hezbollah are freedom fighters. Hence MPAC’s is officially moderate Islam yet the organization supports and celebrates the terrorist activities of Arabs that call themselves Palestinians. (Interesting tidbit on MPAC)

The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) is a huge ideological supporter to Islamist speakers with ties to Muslim terrorists like the Pakistan’s Jamaat e-Islami (Interesting tidbit on Jamaat e-Islami).

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) is largely funded by Saudi Wahhabi interests and has close ties to Arab-Palestinian terrorists (e.g. Palestinian Islamic Jihad). ISNA is an offshoot from the MSA. ISNA is thought to hold up to 80% or more of the mortgages of American Mosques; ergo those Mosques are required to teach and preach (or whatever Muslims call exhortation of their faith) the radical Saudi Wahhabi message of puritanical Islam practiced by Al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. Also ISNA is heavily influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood. ISNA is noted for bringing in pro-Jihad (i.e. the violent “lesser” Jihad), anti-Western, Anti-Israel (and anti-Jewish), and anti-American speakers to well funded speaking engagements in America.

In an e-newsletter received on July 6 from ACT! For America there is a report that anti-Islamist Dave Gaubatz was ejected from one of ISNA’s large meetings recently. According to ACT! For America Gaubatz was in no way being disruptive. Gaubatz was collecting information that ISNA officials obviously did not want non-Muslim America (i.e. we kafir) to be aware of. Then ACT! For America proceeded to include in the e-newsletter some information on the ISNA 46th annual convention in which evangelical Pastor Rick Warren is to participate as a symbol of interfaith dialogue.

Warren must not have read up on the fact that the puritanical form of Wahhabi Islam promoted by ISNA would relegate him to a dhimmi in a Muslim dominated society. Warren’s symbolism then is an example of interfaith stupidity rather than interfaith toleration.

ISNA, the Islamic Society of North America, has been in the news a lot the past few days, hosting its annual convention in Washington, D.C.

As the Investigative Project on Terrorism report below notes:

“The Investigative Project on Terrorism reviewed recent ISNA conference activity and found a host of examples of radical ideology that belies its moderate image.”

What’s more, according to a report in WorldNetDaily, during the July 3rd ISNA convention in D.C., ISNA “chose to eject by force an American investigating Islamist radicalism in the U.S.”

There is no evidence from the report that ISNA’s motivation for ejecting Gaubatz was due to him causing a disruption. Gaubatz was there to gather information, just as he has done for projects such as the “Mapping Sharia” project, in which Gaubatz has entered numerous mosques around the country to examine and analyze the materials the mosques distribute.

If ISNA is truly a voice for moderation, why would it fear someone like Gaubatz? Indeed, wouldn’t ISNA want to showcase its moderation for someone like Gaubatz?

ISNA's Reform Hasn't Shed It of Radical Ideologues

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) hooked a big fish for its 46th convention starting Friday in Washington, D.C. when evangelical Pastor Rick Warren agreed to appear.

But ISNA wanted a bigger star – President Barack Obama. There's been no public response from the White House to ISNA's invitation. But the conference is expected to feature a significant government presence, in the form of sponsored-informational booths and speakers from the Departments of State, Justice, Homeland Security and others.

The Justice Department's Civil Rights Division is also seeking volunteers to work at an information table during the conference.

On the surface, it's understandable why government agencies would want to line up for a spot at the three-day convention. It is expected to draw thousands to the nation's capital and is far and away the largest gathering of Muslim Americans.

ISNA's documented history with the Muslim Brotherhood – an 80-year-old Egyptian movement that seeks to spread Shariah, or Islamic law, far and wide – and the troubling association many of its current leaders hold should give these agencies pause about what message their participation endorses.

Much of ISNA's history was concisely reported by an Indianapolis television station in 2003. The two-part WTHR report can be viewed here.

Beyond the high-profile outsiders like Warren, the 2009 ISNA conference offers representatives from Muslim Brotherhood front groups and others who buck American law enforcement efforts to curtail terrorist financing. One group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has been deemed persona non-grata by the FBI due to its Hamas ties.

Competing assessments of the government's posture toward ISNA have emerged in the past week. A widely-circulated email from a knowledgeable source claimed that the FBI had pegged ISNA as its official outreach partner to the American Muslim community and relayed that information in a meeting with ISNA Vice President Mohamed Magid.

The IPT spoke with an FBI source who confirmed that a meeting did take place at FBI headquarters. The FBI's embrace of ISNA came over the objections of case agents and supervisors investigating Muslim Brotherhood activity in the U.S., the source said.

The next day, FBI spokesman John Miller denied any relationship with ISNA had been cemented and called the email's claims "factually inaccurate and generally misleading." Magid did meet with an FBI official, Miller said, but that's because he has long been an FBI liaison through his role as head of the All Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) Center.

To be clear, it is not likely that the FBI would have a memorandum declaring ISNA the official Muslim partner of federal law enforcement. Magid may be a long-time FBI liaison, but he still wears two hats when he meets with law enforcement – the ADAMS Center and ISNA.

The Investigative Project on Terrorism reviewed recent ISNA conference activity and found a host of examples of radical ideology that belies its moderate image. It also details ISNA's foundation by U.S. members of the Muslim Brotherhood, some of whom remain active in ISNA today, and extremist connections by other active ISNA leaders. ISNA remains an unindicted co-conspirator in the Hamas-financing prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), which ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts last November and lengthy prison terms for HLF leaders in May.

HLF is included among "individuals/entities who are and/or were members of the US Muslim Brotherhood." ISNA petitioned the court to be removed from the list a year ago, but no ruling has been made.

Trial evidence showed accounts held by ISNA and its subsidiary, the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), were used to funnel money to HLF and, ultimately, to Hamas. ISNA officials claim the organization has moved beyond its Muslim Brotherhood roots to evolve into a more mainstream American organization. That strategy has been successful, as this Associated Press preview of the ISNA convention shows.

Brotherhood Roots

ISNA's leadership ranks include a number of people who date back to the group's foundation by Muslim Brotherhood members. The organization grew out of the Muslim Students Association (MSA), which also was founded by Brotherhood members.

One of those founders, Muzammil Siddiqi was a co-founder of ISNA in 1981 and served two terms as ISNA's president from 1997-2001. He still serves on the ISNA governing board.

Likewise, Sayyid M. Syeed was a founding ISNA board member and served as secretary-general, and now heads ISNA's Center for Interfaith and Community Outreach in Washington, D.C.

A third ISNA founder, Iqbal Unus, serves on the board of directors today. He also held the title of Acting Secretary General for ISNA in January 1984 after serving at the General Secretariat since January 1977 for MSA, and later ISNA.

Siddiqi, Syeed and Unus all are scheduled to speak during ISNA's 46th annual convention.

So are two ISNA leaders who were not a part of the founding group, but nonetheless have extensive and troubling connections to terror supporters. Jamal Badawi is a member at large on ISNA's Board of Directors. Badawi was individually listed in the HLF trial as an unindicted co-conspirator for his role as a fund raiser for the defunct charity.

His number appears in a telephone book of U.S.-based Muslim Brotherhood members that was admitted into evidence in the original HLF prosecution, which ended in a mistrial in November 2007. FBI agent Lara Burns testified that this phone book was found at the home of Ismail Elbarrasse, a former assistant to Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook

Finally, Louay Safi directs the ISNA Leadership Development Center. He has a history of close relations with U.S. fronts for Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He served on the board of advisory editors for the Middle East Affairs Journal, which was published by the United Association for Studies and Research (UASR). Its editor, Ahmed Yousef, is the spokesman for deposed Hamas Prime Minister Ismael Haniyeh. The UASR was founded by Hamas political leader Mousa Abu Marzook and was part of a Muslim Brotherhood-created Hamas support network in the U.S.

He also worked as research director at the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) in Herndon, VA. The IIIT has been under investigation for terror financing, including at least $50,000 sent to a think-tank run by Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) board member Sami Al-Arian. The think tank employed at least four members of the PIJ governing board in the early 1990s. No charges have been filed in the IIIT investigation.

Conferences Still Feature Extreme Rhetoric

A review of recent ISNA conferences further raises the question of how far the organization's reformation really has come. During the 2008 conference, speakers rationalized Hamas terrorism and revised history.

For example, Hatem Bazian, a professor of Near East Studies at the University of California-Berkeley, rewrote history to say violent Palestinian opposition to Israel started after the 1967 war:

"The violence is not a genetic motivation or genetically defined in the Palestinians. The Palestinians don't wake up in the morning and think yeah, I'm inclined towards violence. The Palestinians when they woke up they see that they're land has been taken from underneath them, that they have to go through five or six checkpoints before they get to school, that they are no longer able to use the hospital, that they are seeing a new settlement being built every other day, and they wake up in the morning and see that it's a land grab day, all these factors, including the diminishing return of the so called peace."

In that same panel, Palestinian Jamal Dajani moderated the discussion and echoed Bazian's false history:

"That is Palestinians are sick and tired of dialogue. I mean they've been listening to dialogue for six decades. It is great to have people from different places and come and interfere and put themselves between the occupier and the victim, and Palestinians listening to promises, and they see their future disappear right in front of their eyes."

In fact, Palestinians have rejected dialogue since Israel's creation in 1948. The PLO agreed to renounce terror and joined in President Clinton's peace efforts in the early 1990s, resulting in Palestinian autonomy in the West Bank and Gaza. The refusal of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad to recognize that agreement, and the wave of terrorist attacks they launched in the agreement's wake, doomed the U.S.-led peace effort.

Similarly, during the 2008 ISNA annual convention in Columbus, Ohio, Rick Hannis, a Christian and member of the Christian Peacemakers Team, a group founded by Quakers and Mennonites with a stated purpose of working toward "nonviolent alternative to war," spoke. He described the "amazing work" Hamas does in West Bank education and health care and supposedly non-violent leaders of that organization:

"Now, most people only know about the militant part of Hamas. They don't know about the education or healthcare issued in the West Bank part. It really does amazing work."

"If there is a suicide bombing or something their militant wing has done, often Hamas leaders who promote non violence, will be assassinated, and then, of course, it is put in the paper that Hamas did this violent act-Hamas leader was assassinated as if that was an [unintelligible]. The people that know this leader, they are disenfranchised even more."

During ISNA's 2006 convention, Kamran Memon, an attorney from Muslims for a Safe America, asked the audience to raise their hands if they believed Al Qaeda committed the 9/11 attacks. In response to their raised hands, he helped rationalize Al Qaeda's actions by discussing how America's foreign policy helped to infuriate Muslims around the world.

"Some Muslims in the Muslim world decided that they were just not going to take it anymore. They were angry at our ongoing support from their enemies, so they began to attack American targets to pressure our government to change its foreign policy. They attacked American targets in 1992 in Somalia; in 1993 in New York; in 1995 and 1996 in Saudi Arabia; 1998 in Tanzania and Kenya; and 2000 in Yemen. But the U.S. government did not change its foreign policy, so those Muslims who decided that they weren't going to take it anymore attacked America on September 11.

...They are also angry at us because they look at us, the elder generations, and they see us sitting on our hands not doing anything serious to alleviate the suffering of Muslims in the Muslim world. And when they get that angry, then they do things, like if you believe that Muslims did it, they do things like the London bombings in July 2005; because they see no other way to change American foreign policy other than violence."

The list of conference panels this year does include some important issues, including one on domestic violence in the Muslim community, an emerging issue that gained added urgency earlier this year.

Such positive moves are offset, however, by the presence of speakers from other Muslim Brotherhood-tied groups including the Muslim American Society (MAS) and CAIR.

CAIR is taking advantage of the crowds expected in Washington to host an open house.

It is important to note that if the FBI in any way is increasing its outreach with ISNA, it likely replaces work CAIR previously did. The Bureau has made it clear that CAIR and its national leaders had "a connection" to Hamas, and it is unclear whether that connection remains. Until that is resolved, "the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner."

ISNA apparently does not share that concern. It also endorses the canard that law enforcement action to cut off terror financing by U.S.-based charities like HLF creates "a chilling effect on Muslim charitable giving in accordance with the Islamic faith."

It has condemned terrorist plots, like the one to bomb New York synagogues and to try shooting down a military plane that was broken up by law enforcement in May. And President Ingrid Mattson has called for the Muslim community to be more assertive in confronting radical elements and "vague accusations of conspiracies, and exaggerated protests of attempts to ensure security to be used as excuses for violating the rights of women, non-Muslims and others."

However, that admirable charge is undermined by her organization's embrace of CAIR, MAS and similar groups. Agha Saeed of the American Muslim Task Force, is scheduled to speak on a panel on "Culture and Politics: Strategies of Self-Empowerment." Saeed is chairman of the group, which has spent most of 2009 advocating a Muslim boycott of the FBI. The reason? FBI investigators have sent informants into mosques to pursue information on terror suspects. That's how the New York bombing plot was broken up.

CAIR and MAS are among the groups signing on to the Taskforce's proposed boycott.

If government representatives are going to speak to the ISNA conference, they shouldn't offer simple platitudes about getting along. They should challenge ISNA and its audience to be a true partner in the fight against terror by confronting extremist ideologies in their own communities, at their own conferences. That might generate real change.

Forty-four percent of voters have an unfavorable view of the comedian-turned-politician, and that would grow if the public knew how Franken bashed American troops. His behavior toward our troops has been shameful, yet he tried to cover up his disdain for them for entertaining them through the USO.

Franken cheered on the radical leftists at Moveon.Org who attacked Gen. David Petraeus in an advertisement that said, “Gen, Petraeus or Gen. Betray Us? “- This about the U.S.’s top commander who led our troops to victory in Iraq!?

Franken also smeared our troops in a song on a CD he called the O’Franken Factor:

"Sorry ‘bout the prisoners, “Sorry they got raped, Sorry they got tortured, Sorry it got taped Believe me when I say their apology is sincere; I’m awfully sorry for that broomstick up their rear…"

Franken barely skated by in his election against Norm Coleman. The election went to a recount and then a court battle. Al Franken DID NOT win this election at the polls; he won it in the courts. He won because his connections with the Hollywood elite amassed him huge sums of money and Franken’s high-paid lawyers beat Republican lawyers to the punch, because Franken had the money to get them in place even BEFORE the legal battle ensued.

Republicans fielded a formidable lawyer themselves, but with a lack of funds to get lawyers working on the case QUICKLY, Franken’s legal team had the upperhand, which resulted in their eventual victory. It is a sad commentary that this election was decided by lawyers. We CANNOT afford to be outspent or out lawyered ever again!

Conservatives need the financial support necessary to confront the far left on every front from TV ads to court battles. WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN!

This makes the next election critical for our troops. Mid-term elections are always seen as a commentary on a new president’s job performance and so far Barack Obama is giving America plenty to complain about. The radical agenda that he has pushed ever since taking office has hurt his popularity very quickly, despite a massive cult of celebrity surrounding the young, handsome, first black president.

Obama’s approval ratings have dropped appreciably in the last several months as he has talked about closing Guantanamo Bay, and failed to offer anything but faint lip service in support of pro-democracy demonstrations in Iran. He has been pushing his domestic spending programs while the jobless rate continues to climb despite his predictions that the loss of jobs would level off months ago.

According to NY Daily News, recent polls have shown that Obama is still relatively popular, his numbers have dropped from 61 percent to 56 percent, but, his policies are unpopular.

Here are some more facts about Obama’s job approval, as quoted from the NY Daily news:

- “Nearly seven in 10 Americans said they had concerns about the federal government's intervention in the economy”

- 58% said Obama should worry more about keeping the deficit down

- A majority expressed disapproval of the decision to close GUANTANAMO BAY

- 60% believe Obama has so far failed to develop a plan for dealing with budget deficits

- 52% say the government should STOP spending to ‘stimulate the economy’

- Support from Republicans fell from 44% to 23%

The course that Barack Obama is taking this country has many Americans rightfully concerned, worried, and angry. We must put a stop to his liberal agenda that erodes our national security and undermines our troops!

The 2010 midterm elections are the first real chance conservatives will have to show Obama that Americans do not support his radical agenda. No matter how many of us feel like we could ‘have a beer with the guy,’ we don’t want his socialist policies here. But to make a difference we have to build up a huge sum of money TODAY so that when September and October of 2010 rolls around, we will be ready to buy TV spots, web ads, email lists and more!

Obamasiah is the Marxist Messiah

Remember when Barack Hussein Obama was campaigning and it became apparent that he was going to do more than merely challenge Hillary but also dethrone her as frontrunner?

In those days Conservatives began to focus on the roots of President Obama. The first thing that stood out was his very non-English name – Barack Hussein Obama.

The thinking was if it quacks like a duck it must be a duck; ergo if the name sounds like a Muslim he must be a Muslim. Conservatives went to great lengths to prove a Muslim heritage which led the wonderment of where BHO was actually born. When BHO categorically denied any affiliation to Islam for he went to a Christian Church for over twenty years in the Chicago area.

The fact of BHO’s attendance to Reverend Jeremiah Wright’s Church is actually irrefutable. That in it self opened a bunch of other questions which the Mainstream Media chose to not pursue for the voter’s knowledge.

I have determined that BHO is not a Muslim. Although his history I believe engenders sympathy for Muslim people. Couple that sympathy with his former Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s anti-Semitism and Nation of Islam (Black Muslims) Louis Farrakhan’s anti-Semitism one can hypothesize BHO also has anti-Semitic leanings. Being an excellent politician BHO would understand to show anti-Semitism would be a death blow to his political future at this time.

One of several clues to Barack Hussein Obama’s ideology can be found in the Church he attended for about two decades. Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago merged progressive Christian theology with Black Liberation Theology (BLT [SA Here). BLT ideology is derived from a Marxist bent that espouses a Black Supremacist out look on life. This means everything evil in this world is the result of the White man.

Democrats can’t stand being equated with Marxist/Communists. Communism left a bad taste in American’s mouth because of the old Leninist/Stalinist goal of ending Capitalist society to be replaced the Marxist paradigm of distributing the wealthy people’s ownership profits to the class of people described as the oppressed poor. It is a concept that sounds pretty cool to struggling poor people; however the Marxist paradise ideology fails to emphasize that Marxism entails a social transformation that terminates the freedom of religion, Individual freedom, the goal of individual ownership and a Supreme State to force the transformation on the poor to perpetuate the false hope of a Stateless society managed by an egalitarian proletariat. Marxist elitist would never admit this kind of benevolent anarchy is impossible to exist. The nature of humanity that is programmed to be godless will always act on its basest nature. A godless human nature is narcissistic and selfish; ergo a Stateless society would never be an egalitarian peaceful paradise. Whether Marxist elitists admit it or not, the illusion of the goal is merely a ploy for a repressive oligarchy to tell people how to think of which part of that thinking is the programming of absolute loyalty to the State as the oligarchy rules perpetuating the myth of an economic altruistic paradise of the proletariat.

The scary thing is Obama’s agenda has all the earmarks slowly transforming America into this Marxist concept of economic altruistic paradise.

Palin says Goodbye as Alaska’s Governor

Here is today’s shocker! Sarah Palin is resigning as Governor of Alaska. The official reason seems to be she chooses not be a lame duck governor since has said she will not run for re-election in 2010.

I can imagine the Leftists will concoct some licentious reason since they attempted to do when Palin ran for Vice President.

Those looking at the silver lining hope she is going to prepare for a run as the Republican nominee for President in 2012. Maybe I should back track that last sentence. I suspect the mainline Republicans dread Sarah Palin running for a National Office let alone the Presidency.

I am one Republican who prays she gives it a shot. Palin is a strong personality that does not back down to her critics and will have executive experience as a Governor of a State. Her foreign policy may be her greatest weakness but as an executive she will know how to select experience advisors that fits her Conservative agenda.

Missing Our Moment in Iran

Victor Davis Hanson analyzes President Barack Hussein Obama’s foreign policy. Basically Hanson senses that BHO is sending a wrong message to allies and enemies alike.

BHO’s lack of forthright condemnation of Mullah repression had all kinds of consequences. It may have emboldened the Mullahs to execute extreme prejudice on its own citizens. The lack of initial condemnation certainly will irritate and possibly extinguish continued backbone to Iranian protestors. Since no early condemnation proceeded, BHO failed to bank on serious real sanctions that might have been used against Iran’s quest for nuclear weapons.

Hanson goes on to excoriate BHO over inconsistencies with Israel’s Netanyahu, Afghanistan’s Karzai, Honduras’ expulsion of a Marxist President and so on.

Change is Brewing in Iran

The inside information in Iran is becoming interesting. It is becoming apparent that the path of open belligerence is becoming wearisome to the Iranian people and certain elements within the Iranian ruling elite.

Hopefully President Barack Hussein Obama is wise enough to forsake the open appeasement agenda with Iran and utilize Intelligence services to undermine President Ahmadinejad and Supreme Ruler Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
